The 19 Best Places To Eat In Reading Terminal Market

"Almost everyone that walks up to the counter at Little Thai Market gets the shrimp pad thai. And it makes sense, it’s sweet and just a little bit spicy, with thick, chewy noodles and a sprinkle of peanuts. But the best thing here is the salmon curry. It’s a piece of salmon on top of a heap of rice and broccoli, covered with a spicy curry sauce. It’s so delicious that even if the three people in front of you all choose the same bowl of pad thai, don’t be swayed—the salmon curry is the right decision." - candis mclean, alison kessler

The Best Thai and Laotian Food in Philly | Eater Philly

"Like most places at Reading Terminal Market, come lunchtime lines at this simple steam table go long and move quick. The draw here is a lineup of Thai soups, apps, and entrees served over rice, all coming in under the $10 mark, and that includes the always-popular plate of salmon curry. Those looking to try their hand at Thai cooking at home can choose from a small selection of Southeast Asian groceries." - Ernest Owens

Been going to this place for years. However, after today I really wouldn’t even wanna go back to this place. The owner of this place is very unprofessional, rude and accusatory. I purchased two of the same order one of my platters had hair in it. I went back to the place to get my refund for both platters. The owner accused me of eating out of one of the platters and the cashier tried acting blind like she couldn’t clearly see the hair embedded in the food. After a long unnecessary back-and-forth argument because the owner wanted to be unprofessional, they eventually gave me my money back because they had to acknowledge they were wrong.

BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE, not kind for tourists, if you don’t know how to order correctly no one of the staff will help you or staff will be very rude with you. No one asked me about the sauces or the curry (I did not get curry, even if my dish name is salmon curry🤔), or even if I want to order or add something else. When I asked what sauces I got, the ladies in the from got mad at me 😡, was my first time there😒😒😒😒. Thank God a very kind costumer how was in the line help me 🙏(more people like her please🙏🤗🤗🤗). The salmon is really good 👍😍😍😍😍😍😍, I finished my plate 😌😌😌😌😌😌, was so delicious, just need a little bit of spicy 🌶️, but they need to work with their costumer service.

Google
The Chicken Pad Thai and Chicken Red Curry were a letdown. Not the authentic Thai flavors I anticipated – they were bland and basic. See other people reviews. My mistake didn’t look it up first. Avoid this place at all costs !

Google
i had the chicken spring rolls and spicy bamboo shrimp and i liked both. are they the best thai food i've ever had? probably not. did i enjoy this meal that came up to an whooping 15 bucks? absolutely! somehow this was my fav meal in philly so far including cc from multiple wellknown shops. this is what i call asian comfort food and can't beat the price in this economy. spring rolls were warm and crispy the filling not overly salty which i appreciated. the sweet and sour sauce was more sour than sweet which is exactly how i like it. will have to try other dishes soon. keep up the good work!

I lived in Thailand 11 years. I was excited to try this place after reading the reviews. I just ate their Thai BBQ Chicken and the Salmon Curry dish. Honestly, I am quite unimpressed with both dishes. This wasn’t Thai food, I am not sure what I would call it. The food had no taste. I won’t go back.

Hind As-Salafi

Google
The salmon was really tender and delicious. The rice however was really mushy and grainy? This was my first time trying Thai food so maybe that’s how it’s supposed to taste. I can’t speak on service and atmosphere because the food was bought for me. I wouldn’t eat the rice again but the grilled salmon and chicken spring rolls were great.

Google
southeast asian reviewer my god guys 😱😱😱 this is bad on so many levels. tried their salmon curry since it was a sunday, lots of stores were closed and locals online were strongly recommending as a must try. 3 words: insane rip-off looking at the colour of the red curry in the queue, i already had a bad feeling. what’s going on and why does it look so pale? it’s ok i gave it the benefit of doubt. wrong… this was SO BAD do not eat here unless you feel like eating a diluted, tasteless bowl of salmon curry (which is honestly more like soup with how thin the gravy is). 1. salmon: not marinated 2. sauce: see above 3. rice: drenched to the point of inedible 4. brocolli: fresh and imagine how incredible this was that it was the favourite part of my bowl also salmon in thai curry? have never heard of this back home, experimentation is one thing this is like … an honest 0/10. seriously tried giving it a shot but man was this a meal that almost made me angry. WHY did i pay for this im upset at myself honestly lastly they are literally microwaving the food in front of you in the queue 🚩for goodness sake, eat something else 🙏

Google
The worst tasting Thai food in North America! Just a bunch of mushy, tasteless garbage!

Yelp
The salmon curry is the thing to get here! The price was decent and the flavors were delicious. I like the coconut milk flavor in the salmon and the salmon was very tender! Great place in Reading Terminal Market!

Yelp
After researching what to eat at the Reading Terminal Market, we decided to try the Salmon Curry at this restaurant. I was surprised at the price of this as it was only $10. Considering this is a salmon dish, I thought it was going to cost more. The line was about 10 people but the wait was really short. The staff there was very optimized on getting everyone served. The food is already made and on display like cafeteria style. For whatever you order, they just assemble it in front of you as give it to you in a takeout bowl. Very efficient! The salmon curry had decent flavors. It does taste a bit watered down and not one of the best curries. The liquid of the curry is also too thin! More of a soup than a sauce! The food is not that hot. The salmon was already cooked and put into the takeout bowls. When I placed my order, they just put a ladle of curry "soup" into my takeout bowl and then served it to me. Overall, this is a decent spot in Philly. Philly doesn't have a strong Asian food scene so compared to other spots in the area, this one is decent. The Reading Market Terminal is a bit loud and busy on a Saturday afternoon so finding a seat to eat is a bit of a challenge.

Yelp
Grilled salmon curry rice with broccoli. I have been coming here for years. Great prices Nice portions Quick service Walk up to order I can never get just one platter Inside Reading Terminal Market
google avatar

Yelp
They have a 10$ minimum on credit cards but all their main dishes are 9$. So I wound up getting egg rolls in addition to my pad Thai. Both of which were good! I preferred the egg rolls. It was 3$ for 2 big egg rolls and the pad Thai was a big portion as well so I wound up having left overs (pictured) usually bright red/orange pad Thai is not good but this one is !
google avatar

Yelp
Bought a dish & soup & they charge for hot sauce!!! Needed it because the dish was bland!! Girl at the counter was rude when I told her I ordered food as she was telling me I still need to pay for the hot sauce! Never again!
google avatar

Yelp
This restaurant is in Reading Terminal Market. We ordered the salmon with rice and both types of sauce. The portion of salmon and the accompanying rice is plentiful. They usually have a long line and the service is quick. There is no place to sit down at this restaurant. However, there are a few sitting areas dispersed around Reading Terminal Market.

Yelp
I've been to Little Thai Market many times in the last 10 years, and it has remained consistent and excellent. The salmon steak over a bed of white rice and broccoli topped by coconut curry sauce is an exceptional value for less than $10. I recommend it without hesitation.

Courtney ..

Yelp
Best Thai food in Philly. Their pad Thai and chicken basil are my favorites but I have heard great things about the salmon. Their chicken skewers are also worth adding to meet their card minimum. Somehow their pad Thai isn't greasy and it eats more like a dry noodle. Any other pad Thai is incomparable to theirs and might honestly ruin other pad Thais for you. The best!

Jay A.

Yelp
In all reality, This food is horrendous if you are actually Thai or used to eating authentic Thai food. That being said, the other 90%, who are just looking for a little verity in their quick/reasonably priced lunch options, this place used to be good for giving a Thai taste for the average joe/non-connoisseur. I used to get their red-curry salmon all the time, but in recent years, they have increased the price dramatically, while simultaneously cutting costs by watering things down, atleast when it comes to the red curry. The sauce used to be rich/flavorful (still nowhere near authentic standards) but NOW, it just tastes like water with a hint of coconut milk flavor. Honestly, the chicken/rice carts outside are now way more flavorful than this place for much cheaper.

Yelp
Came back for lunch and they did not disappoint! I ordered the salmon curry again but this time paid the extra $3 for shrimp. I wish the shrimp was cooked a tad bit longer because it was a bit too pink for me, but flavor was all there. Amazing deal for the amount of food. Protein packed meal and the curry is so light and fragrant that it is a very nice balance. I also tried their yellow curry before, which was DELICIOUS!!

Yelp
A hidden gem in the Reading Terminal, a new breeze into my love for Thais food. Salmon curry is what I and my friend always order. It comes as a bowl with a big freshly cooked piece of salmon on top of the white/brown rice submerged in the red curry sauce. The creamy taste coconut milk, together with the aromatic coming from all the ingredients in the red curry paste, makes up a perfect sauce. You can add a touch of the sweet and spicy sauce to your curry with no charge, highly recommend!! I tried the their yellow chicken curry couple times, and it was great! However, red curry is still the best dish here, in my opinion. p/s: May the force be with you in finding a place to seat and enjoy your food in Reading Terminal

Yelp
If you've ever enjoyed pretty good, workaday Thai food, served by pleasant people who care about their cuisine and their customers, this place will suck the joy out of your lunch break. Waving a jar of curry blend in the air near the sauce while cooking doesn't count as "salmon in curry sauce". One packet of Yi Pin (that famous Thai brand /sarcasm) does not make it "spicy". Two pieces of broccoli and one piece of green pepper. The salmon was generous for the 10 bucks I paid-- best thing I can say about the dish.
google avatar

Quincy C.

Yelp
Simple eats, understanding staff and cheapest in the market. Quick line during lunch we went with the shrimp pad Thai, chicken, and veggie "red" curry. The red curry was the weakest item being too watery and not even slightly red. The others were red and tasty. I don't know about authenticity but at 8$ a bowl with protein its hard to find a better deal. The ordering system was simple and no mistakes were made even when I added to my original order twice.

Yelp
These are the nicest people on earth. Every time I go here I'm just amazed at how friendly the staff is even when dealing with some of the poorly mannered wretches barking food orders at them. On top of being great people, the food is good and reasonably priced too. The basil chicken in particular is great but I keep on meaning to try the salmon on rice because every time I go it seems like 90% of everyone in line is ordering that. Anyway, this place is awesome, go here many times and eat lots of their food.

Yelp
I visited the Reading Terminal this weekend and I was to stop by the Little Thai Market easily because there wasn't the 'long line' that usually wraps around the whole aisle when you visit during a weekday! So excited about the small victories these days and I celebrated by having the Salmon Curry Bowl! As you will see from all the review..it is worth standing in line! The portion size is fair and if you as shrimp to the meal..you are on your way to an enjoyable adventure for your taste buds! If you are in the terminal...stop by and give them a try...deliciousness = Happiness!

Yelp
I saw JL Jupiter posted about this place and had to try it. Shrimp is an extra topping. Salmon curry was delicious! It was great for a cold day as well. I will be coming back for their soups and pad thai

Yelp
I have been going to this place for YEARS, literally over a decade by this point and this is my first time writing about it. Since moving out of Philly, try to hit this spot whenever I'm back in town. I have always got the Salmon over Rice and broccoli with a mix of the white and curry sauce. I have never even bothered to ask what's in the white sauce and I honestly don't care, this meal has always been amazing! The salmon is well cooked, and seasoned. The rice is made as perfectly as rice can be made but the key is the white and curry sauce. Again I have no idea what's in the white sauce but I'm telling you it's worth a try. And only $8/9.
google avatar

Carla M.

Yelp
Yes it's food court Thai food, but that's it's own kind of delicious. For years I've come here to get the curry salmon. A huge piece of salmon covered in red curry sauce. Makes me feel like a king on my lunch break. When I'm really hungry I grab some pad Thai too and make it a feast. Fast and wonderful.
google avatar

Patrick H.

Yelp
Supposedly one of the decent lunch spots at Reading Terminal. Came by to try the highly rated Salmon curry, and I was slightly disappointed. The salmon was indeed big, but there wasn't anything super interesting about the taste. The curry is a yellow curry, and they basically make a huge batch in which they pour on top of your platter of rice/salmon/broccoli. To be honest, it was a little too watery for me. Since I worked at an authentic Thai restaurant for a few years, this place was a bit disappointing. Waiting for my food felt like I was in a conveyor; they were just making a bunch of platters and at the end "topped it off" with whatever you ordered. For me, eating here one time is enough; I don't think I would come back for anything else. Rating: 4.5/10 Pros: Big salmon, easy lunch spot Cons: long line
google avatar

Karas L.

Yelp
Typically a very solid lunch option. Haven't been in some time, but went today and the service was cheerful but the food was abysmal. I ordered chicken Pad Thai and got a container of what I think were day old rice noodles that had been chopped into bite sized pieces with wilted vegetables and herbs mixed in. A generous portion of peanuts covered up the crime. This was absolutely a relic from yesterday's service. I never leave reviews, but I'm leaving one today to ask Little Thai not to sell anyone else their stale, leftover food. Super disappointing.
google avatar

Saira K.

Yelp
I got the much raved about salmon curry and it was delicious. Some of the others in our group ordered some other menu items and were disappointed. So I would say if you are going to dine here, definitely try the salmon curry over rice with broccoli. For reference, I don't usually like salmon and only ordered that based on the reviews here. Glad I wasn't disappointed!
google avatar

Heather L.

Yelp
IYKYK about the salmon curry here. Can't beat the price for a generous serving of salmon, rice and the most delicious curry. A short review but I love this dish here, the staff is nice and the service is quick.
google avatar

Jackie S.

Yelp
Little Thai Market is a stall in Reading Terminal Market. There's usually a long wait, but the line moves fast. However, things can get chaotic so make sure you know what you're ordering when you get to the counter. Note that there's a $10 minimum if you want to use your credit card. The dish to get here is the Salmon Curry ($8). It comes with a giant piece of salmon, broccoli, and rice. The Thai red curry sauce that covered the rice is so rich and flavorful. The coconut flavor wasn't too overpowering or creamy and I thought it complemented the salmon well. TLDR: Get the salmon curry-- it's worth the wait!
google avatar

Des R.

Yelp
I already had my reservations about the food here. But i've had the salmon & rice as a last resort when in a hurry and it was ok. Thankfully i look at and mix my food before & while eating it. The size of this fly, i don't know how it wasn't floating at the top. This solidified my decision to never eat from here again. The food doesn't really look appetizing anyways. This was yet another lesson to follow my gut (& save it).
google avatar

Neena J.

Yelp
Little Thai stall, decent variety, great taste, even better price! Hard to beat LEMONGRASS CHICKEN SOUP for only $3!!! It was packed with so much of flavor & the quantity was killer for that price! Returned a 2nd time to try out some entrees. All the food displayed on the counter looked appetizing! We tried the SALMON CURRY ENTREE- grilled salmon with steamed broccoli over steamed white rice with yellow curry poured over top of everything. You can get steamed shrimp as an additional $3. Overall, the experience both times were satisfying and the food tasted great. Definitly will keep this place in mind when bringing friends.! The line apparantly usually wraps around the block - probably on weekends.
google avatar

Tamara S.

Yelp
Delicious!! The coconut based sauce that they use is very flavorful. They give you a pretty big piece of salmon for a great price. Decided to break away from my usuals and try this place out. Every time I go into Reading the line is always long for this place, so I figured the food must be good. YES IT IS!!! Heard people in line ordering the Salmon so that's what I went with. Next time I go back, I would love to try some more of the dishes, especially the soups that they offer. If you're looking for Flavor and Fullness, all for a good price stop here
google avatar

Delvia W.

Yelp
Haven't been to the Reading Terminal in quite some time however once I entered' it was like I had never left. I believe you can get discounted parking for the terminal. I walked around for a bit and decided on thai food. This is a walk up counter. You tell them what you want from the menu and they prepare. The selection is very small. I only saw salmon or shrimp. The shrimp were a nice size. Although it s says salmon, something tells me it isn't because how flat it is. I ordered "salmon" with rice which was overcooked and 3 small pieces of brocolli. I had them put a sweet chilli sauce over everything and that helped the flavor. I also ordered the chicken spring rolls and they were delicious. Not too greasy. My Sister had the red vegetable pad thai which had a broth and she added "Salmon"; I tasted hers and it was very tasty!!! I wish I could have sent mine's back. Overall everything was ok. I would go back and try something different. Enjoy!
google avatar

Peggy C.

Yelp
I only tried the salmon curry, but it was great! Priced well too for the portion of fish you get. The "curry" is quite light and thin, maybe not what you'd expect, but tasty.
google avatar

Joe S.

Yelp
Hopefully there are no major changes coming to this particular location especially when it comes to the salmon curry lunch meal which is a good deal for $8.74. Never would of considered salmon for curry but I've always been willing to try different food combinations mostly to my benefit. Good crunchy two pieces of broccoli and two pieces of bell pepper but the curry sauce with the salmon and rice is what you need more of to try now before it may go away lol
google avatar

Nikki R.

Yelp
My favorite spot in Reading Terminal Market! The Salmon Curry, Vegetable Red Curry, and Pad Thai are all amazing. The Salmon Curry is a must try, for sure - if nothing else. Wait time/lines can be long, but service is friendly. Authentic Thai food - So flavorful. Check it out if you're in the market!

Yelp
Today's lunch devours brought me back to the infamous Reading Terminal, where i found Little Thai Market (Thai food & Grocery). This small Thai business consist of a staff of four, who are so welcoming and passionate about their menu. The menu is very small yet filled with some Thai heavy hitters! It's very affordable for any devours. Today, I tried their Salmon Curry which was a whopping $8.00. It comes with a huge portion of Grilled Salmon with freshly steam broccoli and white rice . The salmon was grilled perfection and the broccoli was nice a crunchy. The Curry sauce is very flavorful and tasty! . If you ever find yourself wanting some very affordable Thai food that's absolutely amazing? Check out Little Thai Market @ The Reading Terminal Market! #thai #thaifood #salmon #food #foodporn #broccoli #rice #foodphotography #foodstagram #foodie

Yelp
I got the coconut chicken curry with egg rolls. It lacked spice and was a little bland. Tasted average. The egg rolls were good with the sweet chili sauce. I probably wouldn't buy it again but it was edible so at least I ate my money's worth.

Yelp
This is my favorite place in Reading Terminal Market. I absolutely love the Salmon curry. The salmon is moist, and the sauce is pretty freaking good. I sometimes get the sweet and sour sauce on it as well if I'm feeling naughty buttttttt anyways the spring rolls are amazing and so is the bbq chicken on a stick. K BYE
google avatar

Karen X.

Yelp
This place is great! I got the salmon curry (~$8) and it was absolutely worth it. They definitely don't skimp on salmon, the portion is like half a fish. It also comes with a few pieces of broccoli and two or three scoops of curry. I actually found that letting the dish sit for a little to let the rice soak up the curry and get a little cooler made it taste better. It's located in Reading Terminal and it took me quite some time to find it, so account for that if you're in a rush! Also minimum for credit/debit card is $10. Luckily, there's an ATM not too far at the closest entrance.

Yelp
3.5 Stars Little Thai Market is centrally located in Reading Terminal Market. It will most definitely have one of the longest lines at lunch time. They do have quite the assembly production line down pat to keep it moving rather quickly however. Their popularity may have something to do with their very low prices! Soups for $2-$2.50. Apps for the same price, and entire large portion meals just $6! They offer pad thai and curry. Salmon curry served over coconut rice seems to be a fan favorite. The dishes are topped with lime wedge, fresh cilantro and crunchy bean sprouts. We opened for the red veggie curry and lemongrass shrimp soup. The curry was very tasty, but a bit too mild for my liking. I really should've went back for some crushed red pepper or chili oil. I also should've asked for some crushed peanuts for crunch as it was rather "brothy". The veggies were very fresh and plentiful and I appreciated the fresh basil. Also, while the rice was very good, a tad too much. Perhaps I'll ask for more veggies and less rice. I would order this dish again and make the enhancements I just referred to. Hubs really enjoyed his soup which came with three decent sized shrimp. The broth was really tasty but it could've used some more veggies in my opinion. He liked it a lot however. I added a delicious can of coconut water with chunks of coconut pieces. So good! They are now accepting cards but they do not give the usual 10% off to jurors that most in Reading Terminal Market do. Closed Sundays.

Yelp
I used to come to reading terminal specific for this restaurant and was glad to see it's still there with the same amazing taste! Very simple and very good. So much food for your money.

Yelp
This review is admittedly based off of one dish, but that serving of chicken yellow curry did not impress. Little Thai Market looks like the definition of "no frills", and I had always passed it wondering whether that and the relatively small menu meant it's the kind of place that is fantastically flavorful and authentic and just doesn't care about bells and whistles, or if the flavor matched the bland look. Alas, based on the yellow curry, it's the latter. Thai food is not exactly a cuisine that I expect to lack flavor, but there really wasn't a ton going on here. Everything was mild - the heat level (which is fine), but also the flavor. The coconut base of the curry did assert itself somewhat but that was about the extent of it. On top of that, the dish lists itself as having chicken, onions, and potatoes. It did, but barely - I got two pieces of potato in the whole order and it seemed like the missing other potatoes were made up for by an overabundance of onion slices. The chicken, I'll say, was a reasonable amount (it does come over rice, by the way). The prices aren't bad - my order was seven dollars and change - but I guess it was a case of getting what I paid for. I am willing to try them again, probably with their salmon curry, but it'll have to be a case of me being in Reading Terminal Market and realizing I want Thai. Otherwise there are better, more flavorful options in the city.

Yelp
Two words: Salmon Curry! Get it! I couldn't care about anything else on their menu (no I'm playing I'd try something else but if it ain't broke don't fix it). You know you found them when you stumble upon one of the longest lines in Reading Terminal. The wait is so worth it and the price is right (there is a minimum if you're using a credit card). The ONLY reason why they don't get 5 stars is because they can be stingy with the broccoli and the salmon from time to time.
google avatar

Kimyatta W.

Yelp
Get the SALMON!!! I'm not in Philly often, however this is a must stop location. I waited in line 30 mins happier than a child with a ice cream cone!!! Ever bite gets better and better!!! Until you look and see it's gone...I can't wait until my next visit and the size of Salmon is almost 10ounces for less than $9 bucks. They sell out every day which should tell you something!!! Yummy
google avatar

Fatimah M.

Yelp
Yum Yum Yum!!! If you're in the terminal often, you can't avoid this place. The line alone will tell you that you need to eat here. And what do you need to get: Salmon with white rice, broccoli and curry sauce. When I started working nearby, my mother told me to go here for lunch and since then, I can't stay away and neither can others because it's not a secret. I, and many others, only get the salmon- sometimes with shrimp on top. I've had the pad Thai and it wasn't the best, so I stick to what I know. They crank these platter out in an assembly line so you don't have to wait very long, but I would if I had to. The sauce is really what keeps me going back. I don't know what is in it, but it's delicious. Beware that there is a $10 minimum for credit cards. The salmon platter only comes to about $8.50 but if you add shrimp or a chicken skewer, you'll hit it!
google avatar

Abdur F.

Yelp
Best Thai food in philly! You cannot do better for the price and taste. There is always a bit of line when you come during lunch hour rush. However, it's worth the wait. I usually always get the salmon curry with shrimp and lemon grass soup. They have a lot of other options that's very good as well. They have a nice system going with taking order and payment so the line moves pretty quick. If you are ever in reading terminal check them out. :)

Yelp
I tried the salmon curry by recommendation from a friend and I don't regret it. It was clearly the most popular dish from Little Thai Market - nearly everyone in line ordered it. It comes with rice, a few pieces of steamed broccoli, a heaping salmon filet, and some delicious curry sauce. The sauce was quite thin and liquidy but had incredible flavor. It was a perfect blend of whatever they put in there. I enjoyed the faint coconut flavor. The dish as a whole is a bit heavy with the creamy sauce and salmon which was on the greasier side. I wish they had given more broccoli. However, I still thought the dish was delicious and finished the entire thing. It is a pretty generous portion (the salmon is literally huge) for only $8! Really good deal. I would highly recommend trying the salmon curry during your next Reading Terminal visit. They accept credit card over $15!

Sue C.

Yelp
Horrible !!! It's a very sweet pad Thai! BLAND food! Asked for chicken I can find shrimp skin in this! Tasteless, lukewarm! A cold food off of a deli shelf is better!!!
google avatar

Erin M.

Yelp
Definitely affordable, with all dishes ranging from $6-8, with soups/ sides well under this price. The dishes are all pre- made, so you are not getting your own "batch". The food is good but you are getting what you pay for. I got the Spicy shrimp with bamboo shoots, but I think I will try a curry if I head back. People ahead of me/ behind me ordered curry and it looked great.

Yelp
All I hear is salmon curry when I'm engaged in a conversation re: Reading Terminal Market so I had to try it out. This is definitely worth the stop and the hype is real. The salmon covers the entire surface of the delicious curry soaked rice underneath. The salmon is relatively thin sliced, so don't be mistaken by the photos on here. The curry's flavoring is on point and has a nice sweet kick. Definitely worth the price at ~$8

Yelp
I'm always super pleased when I'm in need of a quick Thai fix. This spot has been consistent from day 1! I've been dinning here for just about 20 years now & the food along with the service is superb! I always get the grilled salmon with the curry sauce which is perfectly satisfying but if i skipped lunch i grab an order of their fried rolls... Yum! The soups are really flavorful also & the prices are more than fair. I have an archive of their dishes from over the years that eventually I'll round them up & post. Until then.. Enjoy!

Yelp
Shrimp lemongrass soup and salmon curry are the ticket when you're hungry, broke, and need sustenance. Friendly counter staff (unlike the awful counter people at the turkey joint).

Yelp
I found this little gem in the reading terminal market. The prices are reasonable. I ordered a steamed crab dumplings and Shrimp lemon grass soup. Both were amazing! Very flavorful. Most of the food were already made, but the dumplings are streamed when you order at the window. I wish they have more non meat options. I'd definitely come back when I back in Philly!

Yelp
I just inhaled the chicken lemongrass soup. Sweet, sour, spicy -- it was so flavorful with the cilantro, green onions and some straw mushrooms. I know they're known for their salmon red curry so I can't wait to come back!
