"This Caribbean food stall at Halidom Eatery in East Atlanta has a tidy menu that offers a few rice bowls and four patties. The latter is the standout and our favorite thing on the menu. That’s partly because it’s one of the most affordable items in the food hall at just $6. The spicy beef patty also happens to be the perfect way to start a meal since the warm, flaky crust and flavorful minced beef filling really wake up your senses. For mains, the bowls can be topped with choices like oxtail and shrimp. While we really dig the coconut corn and fresh pikliz in the Caribbean power bowl, we wish the jerk chicken had another few sprinkles of spices to really punch things up." - Juli Horsford

"Taylur Davis’s is switching out Politan Row’s Locale Caribbean for Locale Island Eats, which will focus on chopped-style meats soaked in homemade marinades. The jerk chicken and patties paired with coco bread from Locale Caribbean will be part of Locale Island Eats’ menu as well." - Sarra Sedghi

Order the Oxtail egg roll. At nine dollars for the size of it it is fair. Jerk sauce was good on the side. It seemed a bit fatty to taste and straight meat inside. I’m not sure what I was missing with this one. There wasn’t anything about it that made me crave it again If you understand what I mean. again, the look, size and price all seems fair and it’s not bad it was just something to eat. we didn’t order anything else as in our neighborhood Jamaican/caribbean restaurants are everywhere and we often eat there but the egg roll looked unique so we wanted to try something unique. I was close to three star, but I didn’t order enough to drop a star.

I have never written a review this quickly before! 😆Thank you to all my Kertified Reviews supporters and followers. While I understand and respect different cultures, it is important to adapt when doing business in another area or culture. I am tired of hearing excuses like "that's just how they are." This is unacceptable, especially for a business. Let's talk about my experience at this booth inside of Halidom Eatery. The employees rudeness were a 10/10…I suspect it may be a rule for them to not smile or greet customers. 🤷🏽‍♀️.. If you can, pay with cash as I was overcharged and have yet to receive a refund. 🤦🏽‍♀️The oxtails were nothing special. Overall, I would advise avoiding this place. Trust my review and save yourself the trouble. You're welcome.😂

The young lady ( thin build) you have representing your brand needs to be reassigned away from customer service. I was looking forward to trying your cuisine on 11/8/24 @ approx 1pm, but her rude and unprofessional demeanor made my first visit very disappointing. Not only was she disrespectful to me, but I also witnessed her being unkind to another customer. She yelled at a gentleman who accidentally ordered the wrong item, and despite his calm response, she continued to be confrontational. Her negative attitude and condescending behavior are completely at odds with the welcoming atmosphere of your food hall. I left feeling disgusted and unlikely to return. Unfortunately, I didn't get to sample your cuisine because I felt uneasy about her behavior and the constant movement behind the curtain. This made me uncomfortable eating what I had purchased, so I ended up throwing it away. She never verbally informed me that my order was ready; instead, she just stared at me, which I suppose was her way of communicating. When I wished her a nice day, she continued to glare at me in silence. I asked if there was a problem, but she only frowned and kept staring. I hope you can address this issue and ensure that your employees are reminded of the importance of customer service. I’m pretty sure you lost a few good patrons on this day. Disgusted and appalled.

As someone with carribbean roots that has eaten a carribean food more times than I can count, this might be the worst I have ever had. The rice and peas were grainy and undercooked, the curry chicken and had an odd flavor (?excessive coconut flavor), the broccoli and carrots were not seasoned and overcooked, and the service was terrible (rude and cold). This is not a carribean restaurant. It is an impersonation of a carribean restaurant. This place is 0/10, not recommended.

The staff are friendly, and the plantain fiesta bowl with jerk chicken has really good flavor. I'd get two containers of the sauce next time.

Staff was polite. The food was average taste; the small portion was definitely not worth the price. $20.69 for their jerk chop chicken with rice and peas. This portion size was definitely more of the size that you would feed to a child 6 or under. After I ate, I was still hungry so I bought Chinese food.

Ummmm. This food is not good lol not sure if these reviews are from individuals who don’t know what authentic Caribbean food tastes like, but no rice should be crunchy and I believe in seasoning food. So does my Jamaican grandpa so im very confused. $20 on nothing.

Had the Rasta bowl and it was great. I've been looking for a good Caribbean restaurant nearby and finally found one that I'd definitely go back to on a regular basis!

Yelp
The service was great but this food is deplorable!! Couldn't even eat this burnt up chicken and Rock hard rice. Choose another food vender... only thing that was good was the plantains.
