2nd visit here, not sure why we waited so long, but I feel like it was a whole new experience. Prosciutto and Burrata was served tableside, fresh sliced. Amazing with the arugula and balsamic the Veal Parmigiana was bone in, huge, Flintstone style and phenomenal. Could only eat half, so the rest is dinner for another night. Wife had seabass on and artichoke risotto and the fish had a beautiful crisp search. Risotto was delicious. Will return to try the tableside parmesean wheel pasta and other items, plus more of the tasty complimentary bread basket. Drinks were very good and fun to see the creations coming out of the bar.

This was my first time visiting and it was well worth it! Great customer service from the moment you walk in and everything is clean and airy. The food came out fresh and piping hot and everyone was nice. If you've been on the fence about visiting, let me help you...GO VISIT! *Our waitress Estefania was really helpful in explaining all of their specials and wasn't in a hurry! She gave us excellent service and came back to our table repeatedly; thank you Estefania!

I was brought here by my boyfriend for my birthday and had a very pleasant experience! All of the food was very high quality, and I was particularly impressed with the sauces that came with the bread and the olive oil. My pasta with the cheese wheel was rich and felt high end. Our waitress was kind and offered my partner thorough recommendations, and she brought out a complimentary dessert for my occasion (that was REALLY good despite us being so full). The atmosphere was lovely even with the craziness of apparently a graduation happening nearby. Would I pay this much for food normally? Probably not, but this was a special occasion and I think it makes a great location for that kind of event. I would recommend!

I recently celebrated a friend’s birthday at this restaurant and was thoroughly impressed by the immaculate atmosphere. The decor was stylish, the plating of the food was aesthetic, and the overall vibe was just so great. We went at 4pm, so it was not crowded at all. The food itself was delicious; however, the service was a bit offbeat. They asked us if they can clear our plates even though we were clearly still working on our food, and our water glasses were refilled more frequently than expected. At one point, a server mistakenly trashed one of our leftover dishes even though we had asked to pack it up, but they quickly rectified the situation by preparing a fresh one instead. Overall, there were no major red flags—just a few unusual service quirks. If you appreciate a beautifully designed space with great food, this restaurant is definitely worth a visit.

Tony was the absolute best waiter we could have asked for. He was simply amazing. We were celebrating our birthdays and he made it even more special by giving us drinks and dessert on him to celebrate. The food was outstanding as well. The atmosphere is beautiful and made the experience even more wonderful. We’ll definitely be coming back again and again. ❤️

Google
The atmosphere is top notch, let alone the food. The prosciutto and burrata was fantastic, especially having it sliced before our eyes. Home made pasta (wild boar ragu was great) plus some authentic Barolo that didn’t break the budget made it for a great evening. Managers are super attentive and staff was on point.

Google
A Taste of Italy—Just Lose the TVs Hosted a business dinner here this week with a group of 12, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. The service was attentive without being overbearing, the food was exceptional and the restaurant itself was spotless. Only suggestion…consider removing the TVs playing news or random content like Chive, and instead play music that better fits the upscale Italian vibe. That small tweak aside, everyone in our group thoroughly enjoyed the evening. We’ll definitely be back.

Google
Lombardi Cucina Italiana at The Star in Frisco is a beautiful restaurant with elegant decor and a nice atmosphere. The service is excellent, staff are friendly and pay close attention to guests. The food tastes great and is made with good ingredients. However, the way the food is presented could look a bit better to match the fancy feel of the place. Overall, it's a great spot for a special meal.

Yelp
We've been 3 times. First when it opened. Amazing service. Ambiance was incredible. Food melted in your mouth and we were not rushed. We went back less than a year later for Valentine's Day and it was horrible. Rushed. Shoulder to shoulder tables. Someone delivering food bumped into my partner and looked back as if I was his fault. We were sitting there eating: but there was no where for the food runner to walk. We were not even upset but the look back was off putting and rude. We went back a third time understanding the rush of a holiday isn't always the best. Sat at the bar: had a good wonderful experience so i think it's just about consistency. The food the first time so good and the third as well. The 2nd time wasn't even good food. We will be back as it's so unique!

Yelp
We went to Lombardi's for NYE, and sadly the experience was subpar for such a dining establishment. They were running about 10 minutes behind on reservations. Once we were seated, we were packed in like a can of sardines. I understand that 2 people don't need a huge table, but considering that between the 2 of us, there are 6 menus total on the table, plus water glasses, and wine glasses, and a candle - it was not comfortable, and you are very close to every other table. Our waiter was busy with another table, so a manager stepped in to help after they realized no one came up to us for the first 5 minutes of being seated. WHAT WE ORDERED: oysters, lobster bisque NYE special menu, FETTUCCINE VERDI ALL'ARAGOSTA, caesar salad, filetto di manzo, persephone (drink). The food was good as a whole, but not the best we have had there. I wish I knew the pasta came with tomatoes as I would not have ordered it. We were not fans of the sauce the steak is made with, and THE WORST PART : halfway through my caesar salad, a SPIDER crawled out from under the lettuce. (we let them know and they took it off the bill and offered me a glass of champagne which I politely declined and chose to stop eating after that) Unfortunately, we won't be back at Lombardi's anytime soon as this experience was not what it should have been. Better luck next time.

Yelp
I don't usually eat Italian (because of carbs), but this was a birthday dinner for me with family. BEST Italian I've had!! Pasta is all made in house, service was amazing, atmosphere was nice, and will be dining here again the next time I'm ready for carb overload- so worth it!!

Yelp
I am so disappointed to see that this place doesn't have five stars!! I came here on a Saturday with some girlfriends and seriously the food (and service!) were fantastic!! We all started with some cocktails, all of which were great. For appetizer we got the prosciutto and burrata which was so good and they carved the prosciutto table side! For entrees we got: rigatoni alla vodka, taglioni truffle, carbonara pasta and lobster fettuccini. Literally everything was SO SO good. The truffle pasta was made tableside in a Parmesan cheese wheel and there was freshly shaved truffle on top. We did the chocolate tart for dessert which was also so good. Also loved the vibe of the restaurant, I can't wait to come back!

Yelp
Great meal- significant portion sizes. Server Ulysses was awesome!! Recommend the cheap parm

Yelp
This was amazing. In Frisco last minute Christmas Day and found this place. Fully booked but we were able to sit at bar. We shared the Greek salad, grilled octopus, New York strip and pistachio tiramisu. Everything was amazing. The Greek salad was good but not much lettuce involved. The grilled octopus was so tender and flavorful. Husband even commented they somehow managed to make it taste like steak. The New York strip was excellent and perfectly cooked. The pistachio tiramisu was a surprise. I love tiramisu. Hubs loves pistachios. I honestly wasn't sure what to expect but I loved it. Very different flavor profile, no coffee flavor, but excellent!!! Highly recommend!!!! Staff was also amazing!

Yelp
I love Italian food so I knew for my birthday I wanted to try this place out. The ambience is stunning and the people are nice. The service wasn't amazing but that's not our server fault as she was also acting as the bartender. The food was great and I enjoyed my mocktail. They did bring a birthday dessert with a candle that was lit in front of me but the person who brought it not our waiter didn't even say happy birthday; for an upscale restaurant I expected a little more.

Yelp
Love this restaurant... Staff is friendly, ambiance is perfect for a date night, GNO or to try something new. They had live music playing a piano. Food was fresh , well seasoned, cooked properly & delicious!!!! Will definitely be back!

Yelp
UPDATE: i came back with friends for my birthday. we specifically requested a booth in our reservation (which they accepted & confirmed), but when we got there they refused to accommodate the request because the hostess said they have a new rule about minimum 4 people for a booth. there were multiple booths with only 2 or 3 people. otherwise the food was still good. i got the roasted chicken with veggies

Yelp
What made this experience a 5+ star is having Aldo the assistant GM as our waiter. At first we didn't have anyone waiting on our table and once he saw that he served us and made this an experience that all of will still talk about. He was informative, funny, and a blast! We sat in a half booth half table near the bar and it did get loud for a Tuesday evening though it likely didn't help that there were huge parties around the restaurant. The food was stellar as well, didn't think we would like the octopus but we definitely did. The wagyu meatballs were melt in your mouth. My family wished there was a ravioli option with meat to make it a little different. The sea bass special was to die for and the drinks/wine were perfect! And everyone loved their dessert choices. We can't wait to come back!

Yelp
Great atmosphere. Incredible wine list. The pasta is fresh. Would recommend 10-10 Natasha the bartender is super nice and accommodating. Great place for a date or just stop in to grab a drink at the bar!

Yelp
We stayed at the Omni in Frisco for a weekend and happened to walk around the area looking at all the restaurants and shops. We felt like Italian so without a reservation the two of us wandered into Lombardi Cucina Italiano. Wow! The place was packed but the hostess suggested the bar, we literally had the best meal of our trip. First off the staff was amazing and the bar manager Natasha and her colleagues are true mixologists. The drinks were on point and unique. The food was fantastic, so was the dessert. I can't say enough good things about this place. The piano player just added another touch to the already perfect ambience. A 10 for sure and we will be back!

Yelp
We were looking forward to trying this restaurant for date night. The restaurant is beautiful with stunning chandeliers , comfy seating and intimate lighting. The service was wonderful and fast. The food however was not great. The bread was the best thing we ate. The meatballs were ok but seemed a bit undercooked. The shark was average . The truffle ravioli was not good at all. It was salty and undercooked.

Yelp
Had a 7:30pm Thursday reservation for a birthday (specified on the reservation). Table wasn't ready, so we sat at the bar. Service was very slow, and the cocktails are not balanced at all.... WAY too sweet. Once at our table, the bread service is amazing but all the other food is good (just not for the price). Service was mid. I wanted my remaining food to go but the bus boy had already stacked dishes on top. Also NO mention of the birthday. I would think an establishment like this could have that level of service. I can see why this place has less than great reviews.

Yelp
You "Affogato" ask for Niko! Our server, Niko, was the highlight of the night! The atmosphere was pleasant and the live music was great. We had Wagyu Meatballs to start, Fettuccine Verdi and the NY Strip Steak. Niko recommended the lobster cream sauce in the Fettuccine Verdi to pair with the bottle of Sancerre. Gotta trust the level 1 sommelier with the wine/food pairing recommendations! Niko was not only knowledgeable of the wine and food but was really funny too! When it came to dessert, we didn't see anything we liked on the menu and happened to mention how much we love Affogato. Niko took it upon himself to bring vanilla gelato and espresso to make our Affogato at the table in a beautiful presentation! While the food was really only 4 out of 5 stars, Niko made the experience 5 stars for us!!

Yelp
We ordered three different vegetarian pasta dishes which were all so delicious. I was craving cacio e Pepe and despite it not being on the menu, they made it for me. Appetizers and dessert were amazing. The restaurant itself was formal, but cozy and didn't feel stuffy at all. Service was great and our waiter gave us excellent recommendations.
google avatar

Shihintha S.

Yelp
This place is so cute! I loved the decor! So classy! And the food was equally beautiful as it was delicious! I went for lunch with some girlfriends and I got the Rigatoni Alla Vodka. I love me some vodka sauce! I added chicken which I honestly could've done without bc it didn't add anything and was kinda bland but I didn't let that take away from the pasta! My friends both got this green fettuccine pasta they both enjoyed. We also got this super cute Lemon dessert! It looks like a real lemon and you have to crack it open. It was so cute and sooo good! Service was also great! I'd definitely recommend this place for a date night, cute girls night, lunch anything!
google avatar

Lam B.

Yelp
The atmosphere and service were great but the food was lacking. The complimentary assorted bread was a nice touch and then the Wagyu Meatballs were delicious. After that, everything went downhill. The drinks were really strong but no flavor other than the alcohol. The fries and potato wedges were fine. The Caesar Salad was too salty, the Lobster Pasta was okay, the Veal Chop was dry, and the Wild Boar Pappardelle was a huge disappointment.
google avatar

Quan D.

Yelp
I had reservations I highly suggest you have one as this place seems like a pretty popular place. The atmosphere is very romantic yet warm when it comes to lighting. Beautiful layout some tables, some half booth half tables. The drinks were strong yet smooth. The food was amazing and very authentic. They are smaller portions yet Fulfilling portions. Great staff, great host, the live music has plenty of great old school classics just an upscale vibe.

Yelp
If you want a really nice restaurant with a modern feel to it, I'd recommend going here. It's perfect for a really nice date night, and if you want to spend $$$$. I ordered a vodka martini with blue cheese olives, and it was nothing out of the ordinary. Just a martini but good. I ended up ordering the mezze maniche alla carbonara which had applewood smoked pancetta, pecorino cheese and a poached egg. I added grilled chicken to it for more protein. My sister and I split the dish, so it's definitely a generous amount. It was really good. I'll definitely come back when I am in the mood to be slightly fancy.

Yelp
We went here as a date night on a Saturday night. Reservation was 6:45 and it was a full house. It started off a little disappointing because of where we were seated. All along the wall is booth seating and every spot was full. (So one side of the table is booth, other side is chair) We were seated at the end of that section so we had to sit beside each other at a corner angle. It felt like we were crammed in at the end. My husband was facing people as he looked at me and I was facing other people as I looked at him. AND the tables were maybe a foot & 1/2 apart so basically no privacy. Since it was fairly loud & a piano playing you needed to talk a little louder but really couldn't because then the people beside you could hear your every word. It really felt like you were sitting at a common table. The people beside us actually spoke to us a few times just because we were sitting so close. (They weren't rude at all and it was fine) but because of the seating situation it made it very "un date" like. It felt very much that the restaurant was trying to pack in as many tables as they could. The food was good and the service was good so no complaints there. Just personally if we're going to go out to a nice place and spend what we spent I'm looking for more date night friendly. A relaxing sit and have dinner, wine and good conversation, this didn't hit those marks for us. We would go back for a group dinner event but not a date night.
google avatar

Douglas W.

Yelp
Definitely ask to be seated in George's section. I believe table 31 is right. Cannot go wrong with the sage and brown butter ravioli to start. It's an entree, however, order it for the table to start. The specials are always good, and pasta is definitely a must!
google avatar

Erin T.

Yelp
While The food was not memorable, Ambience was on point and service was good. My husband's pasta was a little too Alden te, the octopus app was not very tender or charred. The red snapper which was a special, was fresh and good. For some reason - It was super hard to hear my friends, I left not knowing anything they said. They did seat us right next to the fish counter so that could be why.
google avatar

Ashley H.

Yelp
It was my second time coming here and first let me say the people that work here are very pleasant. The manager is always welcoming and make sure that I am enjoying my time there I requested a special pasta they made it the bartender. He was really nice as well and made a good spicy lychee martini.
google avatar

Yelp
Eating out these days is a little dicey and it's just as important to feel comfortable where you're eating as it is to enjoy the food. Lombardi did not disappoint. The food was amazing and ooh soooo good. The pasta were exactly the way they should be and are so authentically Italian in the amazing taste and simplicity. Service was great and inviting by making you feel that you belong there and we're happy that you choose to dine at Lombardi. The ambiance was amazing with plenty of space between tables and booths. I loved the display of fresh seafood that you can make an informed decision on what to have and the portions. Highly recommend Lombardi if you're looking for quality authentic Italian cuisine.
google avatar

Mechelle S.

Yelp
Lombardi's offers a well thought out menu. We were her for my husbands birthday as he loves Italian and know we drover from Fort Worth for this exp Do yourself a favor and valet park which is right out front as the parking is kind of crazy. The food is what would consider elevated Italian food with 5 star service. I ordered the Wood Grilled Spanish Octopus was grilled and cooked perfectly. The right texture and you could tell they marinated it high added so much flavor. Order this!!! The Buffalo Mozzarella Pomodoro was so fresh and severed with grilled bread. My husband ordered the Bucco Capilini, so pasta with Parmesan white pepper sauce. Order this! Not a big wine drinker but it looked like they offer a great selection. People, dress up for dinner as this is a classy reataurant.
google avatar

H S.

Yelp
This is what I was going to say (with a little help from chatgbt) Lombardi is one of our top choices for date nights, and sitting at the bar has become our favorite spot, thanks to the fantastic staff who treat us like friends from the moment we arrive, even when it was our first visit. Natasha, in particular, excels in providing great customer service. Additionally, her cocktail are amazing - simply saying "surprise me" guarantees a great drink every time. Even if you're not in the mood for a cocktail, I highly recommend grabbing a seat at the bar; the service is consistently outstanding.
google avatar

Batoul Z.

Yelp
While the inside is absolutely beautiful as you can see by the photos - the food was such a disappointment. Homemade pasta is ok and the ravioli eggplant sauce tastes ok but it came out cold. The shrimp on my fettuccine was so so bland and for the price I was hoping for some grilled wild caught shrimp but it was the complete opposite. The best part was the service and the dessert.
google avatar

Kaci A.

Yelp
We came in last night and we're so disappointed. We've been to Lombardis about 5 times, I absolutely love their Carbonara and wine selection. So it's become a favorite date night spot for us. And we came in for dinner for our Anniversary. Unfortunately this time the food was mid tier. And the service was horrible. We weren't even greeted with a simple "welcome in!" Or "how are you?" ... first thing out of our servers mouth was "what can I get you to drink?" My husband ordered the Carbonara with bone marrow and the bone marrow was literally 2 tablespoons.....$10 for one bite of bone marrow....heck no. In the past they've been very generous but this was shocking. Not to mention the Parmesan that they grate over your food was left on the POS counter. Servers would come up and move it with their bare hands across the counter when it was in their way. No plate or napkin for it to sit on. GROSS Not sure if it's just new management or what...but I hope they can get back on track to the five star experience we've had in the past..... really displeased :(
google avatar

Yelp
Brunch menu until 3:00pm on weekends. Calamari very fresh and tasty. Bread and pastry basket great. Light and not overpowering sweetness. The service was ok. Nice quiet background music, very pleasant to the ear. Will return to try the dinner.

Yelp
Lombardi Cucina Italiana is an Italian oasis in a steakhouse desert. They offer delicious food, friendly staff, and comfortable atmosphere. Actually, that's not fair. The area of restaurants around The Star (the Dallas Cowboys' training facility) has a good selection of different options and cuisines. Lombardi's checks off just one type. And what a great job they do! We had a work dinner here and they flawlessly executed from beginning to end. Our 12 person group was handled with ease and professionalism. There really wasn't a thing that I can think of that didn't meet expectations. The menu we had was a pre fixe but I can say that the drinks and the meals were delicious! In fact, I was practically licking my plate after every course. Needless to say, we didn't have room for dessert. Allow me to offer a solid recommendation for Lombardi's. They do it right here.
google avatar

Benjina D.

Yelp
I was trying to decide weather to give this place two stars or three. But, in all honesty, I can't think of any reason that I'd want to go back. One star for the service, another for the violinist that was playing while we brunched. But, their food doesn't justify the price. All of it was mediocre and not very memorable. I think the worst item was their latte, which doesn't sound like a big deal except I happen to love coffee and they have several options on the menu. They also have a beautiful, very expensive espresso machine, but the product from said machine, or maybe it was the person operating it, it was just horrible. The coffee was bitter and harsh, not smooth and silky as I was hoping it'd be. The entire meal and experience should have been no more than $100. None of it made me want to go back for more, so it's a one and done for me.
google avatar

Annmarie F.

Yelp
Excellent homemade pasta. Our waiter was very knowledgeable and the food was worth the bit of a wait. So many choices and every bite was delicious! The tables are a bit cramped but if that means I can get in their, too- no problem! % recommend!

Oyinade A.

Yelp
Went there for dinner with two of my friends! The service was great and the food was even better. Beautiful space. I'm officially addicted to Ciopinno! The flavor was amazing and it had a generous amount of seafood. I'll definitely be back soon!
google avatar

Michelle B.

Yelp
Food- 5 Stars Decor-5 Stars Ambiance-4 Stars The food here is mouth-watering. We started off with the mozzarella tomato dish which was light but flavorful. I got the carbonara which was THE BEST PASTA IVE EVER HAD. They finish the plate tableside by mixing in the egg and the bone-marrow. It was so good I wanted to lick the plate. We ended with the mini bomboloni which were decadent, gourmet boston cream like donuts. The decor is absolutely beautiful and definitely a scene. A con is that its SUPER loud. Like, I couldn't hear myself think loud. I don't know why they feel they have to drown out any other noises with the piano/music.
google avatar

Kimberly A.

Yelp
I went to a girls lunch here for Champagne Brunch. We had a wonderful brunch and enjoyed the champagne! Our waitress was amazing and we ended up staying for almost 4 hours. They made us feel so comfortable and we had a great time. Can't wait to go back!

James D.

Yelp
Food and service were decent, not great. On a Saturday night the piano player was trying to yell songs over the crowd noise so that we couldn't hear each other. Felt more like a fever dream in a brothel than a fine, (and quite expensive!) restaurant. Disappointing, especially since I have never had a negative experience in a Lombardi restaurant before, and I've been going to them for forty years now.
google avatar

Yelp
My experience is for BRUNCH ONLY. The Bella Brunch is a good time with friends or family. It's fairly new, but off to a grand slam. I'm a fan and already planning my 3rd visit. I rarely duplicate places, but I'm truly impressed. This was my 2nd visit within two weeks for brunch. I waited to write my review to compare both experiences. I can honestly say both visits were great. The restaurant has a great VIBE! I love the ambiance and decor. They have tables and booths, couches and a nice outdoor seating area. It's clean and fresh, but classy and cool. The drinks are AMAZING! The regular mimosa is good. I like the champagne they use. The Bella Bellini is a showstopper. It's a fun drink and worth trying once. You pay for the experience! However, you will feel happy afterwards. I tried the omelette and fell in love. It was so light and flavorful. It was scrumptious the spinach, caramelized onions, bacon and cheese were pure perfection. The chef was amazing with this creation. I don't really like eggs, but I finished it all. The pancake board is another fun item on the menu. It's great for sharing. You get some fruit, eggs, butter, syrup, bacon and chocolate chips. I truly enjoyed how thin the pancakes were. Light and still fluffy enough. I like that you get a whole banana, strawberries, blueberries and raspberries. The presentation was nice on the board. The customer service is good. Jordan was my waitress today and she was sweet. No complaints here. I left happy and full. I felt satisfied and would highly recommend visiting for your brunching experience. You should make a reservation. They offer brunch on Saturdays and Sundays so that's a BONUS.

Yelp
Outstanding! Everything from the bread to the rigatoni ala vodka (so yum) , risotto, gluten free pasta, steak & dessert. Everything was delicious, the upscale atmosphere was pretty and the service was fantastic. We would absolutely come back.

Yelp
When I tell you this is the place to go for a good experience!!! The wait staff spoke Italian to us upon entering the restaurant and the ambiance was incredible complete with sound panels on the walls to minimize the noise and olive trees inside the restaurant. Every bite of food was a flavor explosion and unlike any other Italian restaurant I've been to before. The pasta is made fresh in house and there is a fish market inside the restaurant to ensure you get the best every time.

Kevin K.

Yelp
Service was slow and inconsistent. Food was so-so. I had the cioppino and my wife had the carbonara. Her dish was very salty. Mine was warm at best. Had to ask for bread that normally accompanies the cioppino. Dinner was a birthday event for my wife. Our experience was over $200 and frankly the value was not there. Suggest you might consider going elsewhere.
google avatar

Fletcher H.

Yelp
We ordered dinner to and everything was prepared exactly like we wanted. This is one of the few places where to go orders are prepared great. Definitely my go to Italian food spot. Great place for dining in as well.
google avatar

Greg R.

Yelp
Wife and I brought a couple of friends visiting from out of town here. One friend and I agreed the dishes we had were good. I had the salmon which was cooked perfectly. And sweet baby Jesus, it tasted super-yum. He mentioned his dish was Americanized which can be expected. Ever had American food abroad and you'll notice it's flavored to better be palatable to the locals. Anyway, he still said it was delicious. As for my wife, she had the ravioli which she expressed was too rich and would have preferred some sort of meat instead of cheese. The service was top notch. Of course this place is a bit on the pricier side so if you are cheap, best to look elsewhere.

Yelp
Sweet hostess greeted us and was so lovely the whole time. Service was fantastic. We love the variety of breads brought to us before our meal. The set up was beautiful and a great idea! The entrees looked delicious but really were not that tasty or exciting. Sadly. The calamari was a wee bit smaller than when previously tried it and it was not piping hot. The risotto was nice, but didn't look very appetizing or appealing. The steak was beautifully presented- but it was a bit over done . Overall we loved the beauty of the restaurant and the service- We also ordered the soufflé for dessert and that was a great ending to our meal.

Yelp
Great new Italian restaurant! We came here on their opening weekend for my sister's birthday. Nice ambiance and great service. They were off to a good start when they brought out a variety of complimentary bread basket. Which was great because there's no kids menu so my picky son filled up on that and fries. Here's a quick review of their drinks and food. Il Flora - Instagram worthy and tasted great Italian G&T - good Cesar salad - good, would order again Foie Gras - okay, a little bland Veal chop - okay, a little dry and bland Vodka sauce rigatoni - okay, nothing special Alla Carbonara - star dish, would come back just for this creamy dish. Crab Ravioli special - good Side of roasted mushrooms - good

Yelp
When we arrived for our reservation, we were told we couldn't be seated until at least half of the party was there, although more than half the restaurant was empty. We went to the bathroom, and another customer mentioned seeing a rat, and we thought she was joking. When we were about to leave, a giant rat ran up the wall. The food was okay, definitely overpriced for what you get, and slow to come out. Won't be going back.

Yelp
Came here on opening night with some friends and had such an amazing time! I was amazed the minute I stepped into the restaurant as it is absolutely stunning inside! The decor is classy and there are beautiful chandeleirs hanging all over the restaurant. There are two olive trees in the middle of the restaurant which gives the restaurant a nice Italian villa vibe. Truly beautiful! There was also a live violinist during our dinner, which is always a nice touch. They started us off with some foccacia and sourdough bread with truffle ricotta and eggplant tepanade. Both spreads were AMAZING! For appetizers, we ordered the Spanish octopus, foie gras, and wagyu meatballs. Spanish octopus was so tender and perfectly grilled and the bed of arugula, tomatoes, and olives were the perfect combination for it. The foie gras was incredibly rich and creamy. So good! The meatballs were so flavorful and tender and literally melted in your mouth. All three apps were so delicious, I highly recommend them all! For our entrees, we ordered the short rib ragu, whole branzino, and the truffle mushroom risotto with a side of the rosemary potatoes and gorgonzola crispy polenta. The short rib ragu was pretty tasty, but the noodles seemed a bit overcooked. The branzino was phenomenal and the portions were pretty good to share. The risotto was so creamy and had just the right amount of truffle in it, without it being too overpowering. So good! The rosemary potatoes were cut into larger wedges, so it ended up being a bit dry. I think these would've been better cut smaller in a different way. The gorgonzola crispy polenta were also good, but kind of dry on the inside. The gorgonzola cream helped give it more flavor though. We ordered the Grand Marnier souffle and the Chocolate Millefoglie to share. The Grand Marnier was good but could've had a bit more flavor to it. The chocolate millefoglie was good and had a nice sweet and tart flavor, which complemented each other nicely. Throughout our dinner, we had the restaurant staff come by and check on us and ensure that everything was to our liking. We even got to meet Mr. Lombardi himself! Service was topnotch! Overall, we had an impeccable dining experience and can't wait to come back again to try the other items on the menu.

Yelp
This place has been open a month. I've been a couple times now. Thank goodness I'm moving soon as this place would get all my money. Based on a Wednesday after work crowd, it seems as the words gets out, you'll better have your reservations secured. The quality here is superb. I'll be working my way through most of their menu.
