Atsuko Okatsuka’s Favorite Places To Eat In LA - Los Angeles - The Infatuation

"“When I performed at The Wiltern for my LA show, I got my opener and crew Louders. It’s open late, and when my late-night comedian ass is up, I’m always craving Italian-Asian fusion. I get their carbonara or mentaiko pasta. There’s some Japanese flavor going on and they do it really well. There’s a shrimp rosé pasta [for instance] but with the heads on. So it’s Asian flavor meets Italian flavor.”" - brant cox

The 9 Best Korean Fried Chicken Spots In LA - Los Angeles - The Infatuation

"The name of this neon-lit Korean pub makes sense when you step inside: the room practically vibrates with K-pop. Louders is known for buldak cheese, but the fantastic chicken wings should be your first order. Choosing from 13 flavors is daunting, but we prefer the honey nutty butter for its savory-sweetness, or something with heat like lemon jalapeño or chili-garlic. There are a few wild-sounding flavors, like one with sticky, stir-fried anchovies and shishito peppers, but don’t write them off, as they’re surprisingly delicious. Also, their wings are the ideal size to debut your party trick of inhaling them in one bite, then pulling the bone from your mouth in one motion." - cathy park, brant cox, sylvio martins, garrett snyder

Louders - Review - Koreatown - Los Angeles - The Infatuation

"The name of this neon-lit Korean pub will make sense when you step inside: the room practically vibrates with electronic K-pop tunes. They’re known for buldak cheese—a skillet of spicy, chargrilled chicken with a cheese blanket torched tableside—but the fantastic chicken wings should be your first order. Choosing between 13 flavors is daunting, but we prefer the honey nutty butter for savoriness with a tinge of sweet, or something with heat like the lemon jalapeño or chili-garlic. There are a few wild-sounding flavors, like one topped with sticky, stir-fried anchovies and shishito peppers, but don’t write them off, as they’re surprisingly delicious. A very lovely and super delicious Korean pocha location in the center of ktown. I like the vibe, the food, and the service here. Their uni pasta is so good! A must try:)

Google
This place has a fusion of international and Korean food with delicious and unique options I haven’t seen anywhere else. The crunchiness of their fried chicken is bomb!! And of course it’s mandatory to order their big melted cheese plate and seafood rice if visiting Louders!

Google
My go-to after a long shift. I love how they are open late. After a 16-hour day with no proper meal, this place is the reward. I always get the stir-fried pork belly and octopus with a cold beer—comfort in every bite. My family and I have been regulars since 2020, and I’ve honestly lost count of how many times we’ve come back. Highly recommend the kimchi udon, Louders fries, and the whole fried chicken too. Everything is packed with flavor and perfect for sharing. It’s also one of my favorite spots to hang with friends—great for big groups and always a good time.

Google
Eating at Louders was full of enjoyment. They have one of the best wings I have ever had. The booldak cheese plate was delicious, but it’s a bit pricey. I would love to come there again and try more of their wings’ flavors.

Google
I came here after seeing a recommendation online, but after trying the food, I realized it was all just advertising. The taste was quite mediocre, I might even say it was bad. The prices were ridiculously high, and the army stew was the worst I've ever had—it came in a very small pot with scarce ingredients and a monotonous flavor. All the dishes were just average, and the value for money was extremely low.

I’ve been here twice and the first time I was absolutely blown away! The are so many good flavors and a great Korean style restaurant with K-pop playing all day and it is just such a vibe! The service was great and very quick! We ordered the Kimchi Bacon Udon Carbonara, the Kimchi Fried Rice, the Stir Fried Baby Octopus and Pork Belly with Rice Cakes and sausage rice cake skewers. The Kimchi Bacon Udon Carbonara was delicious, really cream with a little kick, the kimchi wasn’t too pronounced but there were kimchi pieces in it. The Kimchi Fried Rice was one of the best I have ever had honestly it was so so good with the fried egg mixed in and all! Just perfection! And the Stir Fried Baby Octopus with Pork Belly and Rice Cakes was so delicious! Mixed perfectly over a burner just kept the flavors so pronounced! For warning if you like spicy, I would skip it here and do not spicy, I’m a Latina and enjoy spicy food but to really enjoy the flavors in this, get not spicy and enjoy!! Can’t wait to go back!! There’s so much more I want to try!

Google
Checking out this Korean spot is super worth it because of its amazing vibe. It feels authentic, from the decor to the K-pop music playing. The best thing there? The octopus and pork with rice dish. It's seriously delicious, big enough for two, and you get a lot of meat. Heads up, it gets busy at night, and parking is a tight squeeze. They have a valet for $4, which is pretty convenient. Despite the parking drama and the wait, we're always down to drive an hour just to eat here because it's that good.

Google
A great place to satisfy those late night cravings for fried chicken wings! We came here for dinner on Sunday night around 7:30 pm, and waited 5 min to get in. No reservation needed, you just sign your name on the waiting list when you arrive. Parking could be difficult to find, but there is parking in the H-mart building across the street. We ordered the shrimp pasta, the sweet & spicy fried chicken and octopus fried rice. Everything was delicious and they even served some free coleslaw to start. The restaurant was compact and loud, but that's what you'd expect at a lively Korean pub house.

Yelp
Tried Louders for dinner with my girlfriends and it was very very good! We ordered: MENTAIKO PASTA 4/5 I thought this was a good pasta but was lacking a bit in mentaiko / mentaiko flavor. It tastes like a cream pasta - without mentaiko. KIMCHI BACON UDON CARBONARA 5/5 DELICIOUS - literal flavor explosion. I love kimchi pasta and this hit. FISH CAKE SOUP 5/5 Place on top of an open fire, it keeps the pot hot and toasty. They include a variety of fish cakes. The soup itself is very very sweet and flavorful. Nice for a cold winter night. CHEESE TEOKKBOKKI 4.5/5 Very flavorful and not too spicy which I love! Nice and saucy. They don't use fresh rice cakes - it tastes like the frozen ones but that's ok. Ample portion of fish cakes. This is just a great dish to share! KIMCHI PANCAKE They forgot it so we ended up canceling TRUFFLE FRIES 4/5 To me, truffle fries are pretty meh - since I have my own truffle oil at home. The fries here were just alright - nothing special. They did add a generous amount of truffle oil. Fries itself were cut pretty thin and small. Portion sizes here are just ok - not too big so I'd order more items than less. Parking is valet only and you can't leave the plaza. My friends walked to Hmart after dinner and they charged us extra after (we paid $10 for parking). Service is super quick - food started arriving within 5 minutes of ordering. They rushed us to order before we were even seated. When we arrived, there was a short line so we waited for about 10 minutes.

Yelp
Been here a few times but this last visit wasn't a good experience. To start, prices increase drastically and you can tell portions decrease. Service was horrible, they forgot to bring out Spicy Fries till the end but only because we asked for them. The servers hover around the table and just stare at you while you eat, just awkward! To top it off, they force you to pay a tip of 18% that they slam on your bill. See Posted Pictures. FYI... Spicy Fries are not worth the Buck!!! Overpriced $17 Fries with sauce

Yelp
One of my favorite places to eat in Koreatown! The food here is super delicious and never disappoints! My family and I always get their pork belly and octopus fried rice! We also get their corn cheese, buldak chicken, and their creamy rose pasta! Their chicken is also very good! The service is the best here! They make sure you are taken care of and they're super friendly and attentive! The ambiance in here is very nice and the place is very welcoming and warm. Louders is the best in ktown and I recommend this place to everyone! Such a great place to eat and hang out with family and friends! Thank you for always a great experience, Louders! Will be back very soon!

Yelp
Have been wanting to try this place for a while and honestly so good! Do not come here though if you're not willing to brave level 10 parking stress. My friends and I tried the shrimp rose pasta, soy garlic fried chicken, and the buldak cheese chicken. The shrimp rose pasta was my favorite as the sweetness and the creaminess of the pasta were perfectly balanced. I thought that the buldak cheese was fun to eat as the chicken had a nice heat and complemented the melted cheese perfectly. The soy garlic fried chicken was as well and had a nice crisp. Service here was ok haha I think there's room to improve in in terms of asking about the food etc but they were consistent on water refills. Ambience is loud be prepared to talk louder but this is more of a pocha setting but this makes sense.

Yelp
Explosive flavor. Booldak is ooey gooey, the chicken is tender and spicy/sweet, and the tater tota underneath are incredible. The pasta is a must get along with the GI soup! All of the servers were super attentive and nice. Perfect place to have a round of Soju shots before your meal. I only gave 4* because the prices are a little crazy. $40+ for the booldak and over $20 for 8 pretty small chicken wings. Much higher than local spots. Would be down to come back but prices make this an occasional treat.

Yelp
Came here twice at night. The first time, my experience was amazing; the second time, it was okay. I ordered Mentaiko Pasta and Kimchi Udon Carbonara the first time. The Mentaiko Pasta was delicious--creamy, flavorful, and light. The pasta was al dente and the shrimp was a little overcooked. As for the Kimchi Udon Carbonara, it was packed with strong kimchi flavor and had a generous amount of kimchi. At times, it was overwhelming due to the thickened sauce. However, the udon was cooked perfectly. Ordered Stir Fried Octopus & Pork Belly and Cajun Fries the second time. The octopus and pork were flavorful but the rice was too mushy. I like how they provided a generous amount of octopus and pork belly though. The seaweed was a huge plus and helped tied everything together. The Cajun fries were underwhelming--some pieces were plain while others were heavily coated with Cajun seasoning. For the price, I've had better elsewhere. Overall, I thought this place was a nice spot to hang out. Parking is tough but valet is available for $4. Service is quick when it comes to refills. The music can be a bit loud, but it's great for those who wants to drink and have a good time. Would I be back? Yes, for the Mentaiko Pasta!

Yelp
I've been here twice with friends, and both times have been a great experience. The food is perfect for sharing, and everything we ordered was delicious! The chicken was super juicy, and the Korean pancakes and fried rice were also solid choices. The pasta was really delicious, too, especially with the garlic bread that comes with it (or you can order extra!). The spot is a bit small, but it has a cozy vibe, and they play K-pop on the TV, which adds to the atmosphere without being too loud. Definitely one of my go-to Korean bars in Ktown--if you're in the area, you should check it out!

Yelp
Loved it! Came in on a busy Saturday night with some friends. Inside is bright, spacing is a little tight so it's better for small groups or a foodie date. The food is amazing! We got the jambalaya pasta, such a good mix of flavors. The stir-fried baby octopus and pork belly is a must try. We also got the soy garlic wings and a pound of Cajun shrimp. Yes we were being fatties lol. Only did medium spicy for my friends but I'll definitely be going up to hot next time because medium didn't have enough heat for my taste. We loved everything though. Can't wait to come back and try more. There's so much stuff to try on the menu so it's definitely worth repeat visits. Service was good. Friendly staff. It was a busy Saturday night so there was a wait but it didn't take too long. Parking in Ktown is always tough. There's a small pay lot in front that's always full. Or you can try to find street parking but you'll probably have to walk a block or two.

Yelp
Place was much better last time, but I think it's because of what we got. The carbonara and the buldak chicken r great. The chicken fondue and cajun pasta were both very mid

Yelp
My favorite Korean bar! They recently changed a bit of the menu and I havent been back for awhile so I was so excited to be here again. On a Monday night they were still super busy and packed but we got a table right away. We ordered several items to share between 2 including a Cass beer! Louders Fries: Honestly cannot go wrong with the fries here. Its very typical , nothing special, came with bacon, kimchi, green onions, and cheese sauce! Shrimp Rose Pasta: I definitely wish I tried the Mentaiko one as well but this one was pretty good too. It tasted more like spaghetti than other Rose pasta's but the shrimp was nicely cooked and paired super well. The garlic bread on the side was super yummm Octopus and Pork Stir Fry Rice: Exceeded my expectations! The spice was perfect and had a nice kick while there was so much pork to go around. It really hit the spot~ Super lively and fun to dine in here and just talk about anything, I cannot wait to come here again!

Yelp
Without ever having been to South Korea experiencing their drinking culture there, this place has a feel of authenticity of a Korean style pub. Plus, there's a wall with pictures of pretty famous Korean folks, which also leads me to believe this place is legit, lol. (e.g. Hyun-Jin Ryu of former Dodgers fame has been here) This place and the area in general is pretty busy all the time. The service here is friendly, quick, and efficient. I came here with my brother's family when they were in town because I wanted them to experience a meal in K-Town. This was Sunday evening so it was pretty busy in the area. We drove around a little bit and ended up parking three blocks away. K-Town in general is notorious for a difficult parking situation. When we got there, we put our name on the list, but I think we came out a good time because we were seated relatively quickly. We ended up ordering a couple sausage skewers because the kids wanted some tteokbokki. We also got some Korean style tacos and fried chicken to start. We then ordered some spam kimchi fried rice and booldak with cheese. The booldak is one of their most if not most popular dish - and was even fun to watch them prepare it as they blowtorch and caramelize that cheese in front of you. My family and I loved everything that we ordered. I think we ordered really well. Just a really great spot for groups. Maybe on the smaller side as the place isn't that large. I would say it's ideal for groups six or less.

Yelp
Great casual place to eat with friends in Ktown! Hit the spot for Korean comfort food + beers.

Yelp
Tried this place out with my friend one night for dinner and we thought it was decent, just reallllly expensive. I recommend going with a bigger group of people to try different options out. it's ktown, so expect street parking to be difficult or you can valet (it's in the same plaza as Hangari). I liked all of the options on the menu, we got wings and pasta. Both were really tasty, but just not mind blowing. And for it to be $20+ for food at a pocha, it kinda feels like a rip off??? No offense because I'd return, it just felt really pricey for 2 girls. Service was friendly and quick. And I would love to try the cheese chicken item next time!
google avatar

Yelp
Came here for a late night dinner and this place is popping on a Friday night! It's K-town so parking is gonna be hard; we had to do valet. The seating inside isnt' big but we got a table as soon as we walked in. This place is unique in the Asian fusion dishes they have to offer, including more traditional soups, to chicken wings, tacos, pasta, and more. We had the cajun fries as an appetizer and they're fresh and topped with seasoning. Wish there was a bit more Korean spicy kick to it though. I ordered the stir fried octopus plus pork belly and it was gigantic! The two of us barely finished it and we were hungry and late eating dinner at the time. It was very flavorful with the sauce mixed with the meat and rice, and still hot and cooking on top of a fire giving it a slight charred flavor. Great with the sides dishes especially the radish cubes. I'm already craving this dish again!

Yelp
We celebrated my friends bday here and the atmosphere was really fun!! Everyone had a good time and the restaurant was playing a lot of edm and kpop mixes which suited the vibe. We ordered a ton of food and everything was delicious! There wasn't anything I didn't like. We ordered the buldaak chicken with cheese, kimchi pancake, kimchi pasta, and two flavors of Korean fried chicken. My favorite was definitely the kimchi pasta and the sweet soy chicken!!! The staff was very accommodating and managed to get us a table where we could all sit together! I would 100% take more of my friends here.
google avatar

Yelp
We came on a Weds night with a party of 12 and luckily they were able to accommodate us! The restaurant itself is kind of small, but it wasn't entirely full either. Parking however is absolutely terrible around this area. It's the most busiest and bustling area of ktown and has the worst parking. Even when the restaurant wasn't full, the valet parking was full lol. I was lucky enough to get parking right in front! They honestly had so much on their menu that I wanted to try. I was luckily with a big group so I got to taste a little bit of everything! We ordered the Stir-fried Baby Octopus + Pork Belly, Booldak w/ Cheese, Kimchi Bacon Udon Carbonara, Sausage and Rice Cake, Louders Spicy Fries, Honey Butter Chicken Wings, and Soy Garlic Chicken Wings. Some others got their personal item, but I didn't really get to try those lol. Although, everything was really goood! I think the one that stood out to me the most is the honey butter chicken wings, I was very surprised how on point the flavor was, it was really good! Fries were also deliciously cheeesy. Booldak w/ Cheese was soooo heavy, although the chicken itself was a bit too cooked? I surprisingly like this one the least. The Kimchi Carbonara Udon was also really good and very flavorful. Also heavy as well, but yummm.

Yelp
FUN FACT: Daniel Dae Kim has eaten here! :) A small restaurant with a fun vibe! Very cozy and casual nightlife interior. K-pop playing, alcohol flowing, and a good variety of options on the menu. Here's what my friends shared for dinner: + Mentaiko Pasta (5/5): I loved this dish! Such a light creamy sauce with a subtle fishy mentaiko flavor. The texture of the pasta was perfect and I found myself enjoying this dish the most. + Kimchi Bacon Carbonara Udon (4/5): NO DOUBT this had the best sauce! So flavorful and clung onto the udon well. The addition of kimchi and bacon really tied all the flavors together. That sauce was ADDICTING. My only gripe was the udon... Noodles were a little overcooked and the portion was kinda small compared to the other pasta dishes. + Chicken Rosé Penne Pasta (3/5): Nothing great about this one. It was okay overall. Though it claims to have a rosé sauce, it mainly just tasted like a slightly creamy tomato sauce. Chicken was pretty dry too. Wouldn't recommend.

Yelp
came here for dinner when my friends and i were in LA for a day trip. food on the pricey side but in my opinion it's worth it. big portions and it fills you up fast. we also got a tofu soup but i didn't take a picture of it. the restaurant was very calm and just overall it was great vibes all around. they have pictures on the wall of people the owner (i think) has met. pretty cool. parking is valet ($4) cash only i would definitely come back and recommend this place to anyone looking for a family style eat.

Yelp

Yelp
This Korean tapas restaurant serves many things here, but we came for the pasta Kimchi Bacon Carbonara (5/5): Very splendid with its cheesiness and great balance of spicyness. Mentaiko Pasta (5/5): I really love the creaminess and fishiness of this dish. Chicken Rose Penne (3/5): Not a fan of chicken, but this tastes like any other marinara dish. Overall, I really enjoyed this place.
google avatar

Estele K.

Yelp
Food 4/5: pasta was good for kimchi carbonara but a bit too greasy for me. And mentaiko pasta was too intense and rich that after fifth bite it wasn't as enjoyable. Potato pancake was just a korean version of hash brown. The wings were soy glazed and nothing was too special. Service 5/5: very friendly Ambiance 5/5: very unique ambiance, pub settings, a bit smaller than expected. Highly recommend if you wanna enjoy some good time with friends or partner!

Yelp
This was the first place I visited recently right after the airport and it was pure gold. Truly the best thing I've ever eaten. I got the kimchi carbonara udon noodles and the spicy chicken feet. The level of spice from the chicken feet was perfection. The creamy sauce they put in the udon is addicting. If you could only eat at one place in LA, this is it. Not to mention, the waitresses are so lovely and welcoming.
google avatar

Yelp
We stopped in for lunch, and it was good! Good service, quick and friendly too! We got wings, the chili garlic and the sweet and sour. The chili garlic sounds delicious but there wasn't a ton of flavour, where as the sweet and sour was delicious. Honestly wish we got two batches of it. Good place to stop at!
google avatar

Stephanie C.

Yelp
I love how this place is open late! I had a late flight from LAX. Stopped here for the kimchi bacon carbonara. Was the best dish! Get it with the bread. You need this to scoop up all the sauce! You have to request for the banchan. The radishes were the best. I used the jalapeños to go with the fried chicken. I think we got it with the sweet garlic butter. Could have been more garlicky. They had k-pop videos running nonstop. The only downer is the parking. Limited parking and if you go at peak hours, there is valet for $4. Basically you still park your car and pay $4 for the space. Valet was gone by midnight.

Yelp
Been wanting to try this place for awhile now & got to say... food, service, & vibe were top notch. The only thing I have to say is that parking to eat anywhere in ktown is always a struggle. There is valet in the plaza & it was only $4 which isn't bad at all compared to driving around for hours trying to find parking & risking the chance of getting a ticket in LA. The buldak chicken dish is a must to try if you like spicy food. The chicken was tender and flavorful and came with melted cheese, tots, & rice cakes! The mini fire show was cool too. My friend and I also had the Cajun fries and mentaiko pasta were yummy and not too salty. Great place to hang out & catch-up with friends since its like a Korean pub with soju drinks & good kpop music. Would like to try their kimchi udon next!
google avatar

Dana T.

Yelp
One of my favorite pochas in Ktown! Parking can be a bit annoying to find but it is $4 for valet if needed. The star of the show was definitely the booldak with cheese as they torch it right in front of you! It comes with chicken, crispy tater tots and rice cakes along with melted cheese. I also got the mentaiko pasta and loved this as well since it was so creamy and delicious.

Yelp
I checked this place out for the first time with my friend while I was in the area, and this place is nice to catch up with friends on a night out! I was impressed by how many different types of food they served here. We both got the Kimchi Bacon Udon Carbonara, and it was really good I liked it - creamy and was a great portion size. A big reason as to why I wanted to make this review was to point out the great customer service that they had - the workers are super sweet! They asked if we were okay with moving to a smaller table to seat another party that was waiting, but if we didn't want to move it was totally fine. We understood and it wasn't a big deal for us, but they still offered us a drink for the inconvenience anyway, even though we were okay with moving! I greatly appreciated the nice gesture even though they didn't need to. It really goes to show how much they care about their customers and their effort doesn't go unnoticed. I can't wait to come back here again when I'm in Ktown!

Yelp
4.7/5 Some of the best dishes I've had the privilege to try in LA; a bit pricy for the portion but it's LA. I recommend the sausage and rice cakes. The texture and sauce made this appetizer delectable! Though it is $5 a stick, I still think about them. It was a tight space with every table occupied, so you had to raise your voice to talk to the person in front of you. I personally liked that but my friend found it to be overstimulating.
google avatar

Joycelyn N.

Yelp
This place was so good but this is not a 2 person meal!! We had so many leftovers I feel like you need at least 3 people at least to finish this. The sausage with rice cake was flavorful and I loved the crunch the rice and had on the outside and the inside was chewy. The cheese really makes the dish with the chicken. I think the tteok they include with the dish is the best part especially paired with the cheese.

Tita L.

Yelp
Food is very good! Everything we ordered was good especially the chicken booldak. I will come back again.

Yelp
Sad to say I have just one picture from this visit because we ate the food as soon as it came! Not only was the food piping hot but it was delicious! Service was quick and prompt with the owner Karen even there being very attentive. Reminds me of the pubs you see in Korea! We ordered the kimchi udon, mentaiko pasta, and different variations of the fried chicken. All to say the ambience was inviting and fun. Looking forward to coming back (hopefully I'll remember to take more pictures next time!)

Yelp
Delicious late night korean food! Came here with a party of 6 around 12am on a Saturday and we were seated promptly. We parked with the valet in the lot. Service was very friendly! The restaurant had a nice ambiance with lights and TVs playing music videos. I ordered the Kimchi Bacon Udon Carbonara & the Honey Nutty Butter wings to share. It was all so delicious! The food came out hot & very flavorful っڡ I'm not the biggest fan of sweets but I ordered the Honey Nutty Butter wings as a recommendation from friends and it was yummy! It tasted just like the almonds but in wing form lol. I think I'd prefer something more savory but it still had such a good taste & freshness that I enjoyed. The carbonara was also so delicious!! I loved the sauce & all the flavors that came with it. Overall would definitely come back for when I'm craving some chicken & noodles!

Yelp
Highly recommend the Booldak w/ cheese. We went with medium spicy but should have gone with at least hot since it wasn't that spicy. It is definitely enough for 2 people, we had to take most of the kimchi bacon carbonara home (which was also delicious). The service was amazing and we were attended very quickly! Inside the restaurant is also very nice and they play music videos the whole time which I enjoyed. Parking is limited but they do offer valet parking for $4 on the plaza.

Yelp
I have only had the carbonara kimchi udon as take out but oh my god....i dream of it when i am not in town. There are many other things on the menu that look amazing and i have going to the restaurant on my birthday key list but it is worth the price for that dish.

Yelp
The service is very bad They won't let us line up for the bathroom (saying that the two of us are blocking the hallway when in fact no one is lining up) There's a mandatory 18 percent tip for more than six people and one of our friends left and rolled his eyes and said, "Well, you need to change seats." We haven't had a chance to pick the tip yet. Just help us pick the 18% It's all premade lunch meat Mandatory $10 parking fee at unsupervised plazas

Yelp
I will say this place is bomb but be prepared to pay the price because you will keep ordering and the bill will stack up (especially if you have alcohol included too). Our party was 3 people, 2 bottles of soju, 1 beer and the total came out to be $190 (this was with a 15% tip included). What we ordered: Kimchi Udon Carbonara ($22): this was so bommbbbb.. I have never tasted anything like it, so rich in flavor and creamy. Almost feels like we should've grabbed another bag of udon and put it in there to soak up the rest of the sauce. I would definitely order this again. Garlic Cheese Wings ($20): I think this dish comes with 8 pieces. I thought it was good but not the best.. I would rather go to wing stop but I will say this is so good when its super hot and fresh out of the fryer. Louder's special spicy fries ($15): This was just okay for me. Not really worth the price of it but it was a good addition to our meal. Baby Octopus and Pork Belly Rice ($40): Oof.. I really liked this rice dish! Super flavorful and yummy! A bit oily but that's what you would expect when you go out to eat and what you would also expect when pork belly is involved. I would get this dish again. Soju $16 - pretty pricey but it's expected when you go out for drinks I would say though.. be aware of how much cheese intake you are having especially if you are lactose intolerant.. but no regrets at all! Everything tasted great. I would come back here again, some items are on the pricier end but a lot of the flavors you really just can't recreate at home so it's worth it. Staff was great and filled our water consistently. There was street parking and since we came on a Sunday, it wasn't too difficult to find parking. We also came around 6pm and there was no wait time but when we left, there were a ton of people waiting outside.

Yelp
This place has been on my list for a while and I had the opportunity to bring a group of friends - and I'm VERY glad I did. Radish Salad and Pickled Jalapeño are available on request and were pretty good. They brought out the fries and our soy garlic wings first, and at this point I was underwhelmed. For the price points they were small portions and lacked anything particularly interesting, the soy garlic was very mild. However, the Booldak changed everything. The owner herself came out to blowtorch our food and although we only got mild it was sooooo good. The waitress said it fed 2 but it fed all 5 of us easily - which for $45 is a pretty good deal. The vibe was fun and parking was a pain but everyone had a great time. I still think the price point is on the higher side, but for a midnight meal it was fantastic.

Yelp
Very Americanized Korean cuisine, food is decent, not great dining experience as they rushed us out. Pretty confusing menu concept because they had everything from pasta to fried chicken to tacos and Korean street food. My favorite dish here was the kimchi carbonara-- it doesn't taste anything like a traditional carbonara but the kimchi flavor wad great and the dish is super rich and creamy. I'm not a huge fan of the fried chicken because the one time I ordered it, it was super greasy and the shareable stir fried octopus or booldak chicken with cheese dishes are way overpriced. I would consider a lot of the menu bar foods, very oily and salty, including the kimchi carbonara. At some point when we were eating, a worker came to ask us if they should take away the food we had left on the table and my friend kindly replied that we were still working on it. Then, in the span of a minute, 2 other servers came to ask us the same thing--if we needed things boxed or taken away when we were clearly not finished with our meal and mentioned that to them directly. By the time another person came by to ask, it was clear that they wanted to turn our table and were pressuring us to leave so we left. I wouldn't say we were there for an egregious amount of time and there was clearly a lot of food still left on the table. Not the best feeling when you're paying to have a meal at a restaurant, but if they are busy, they will rush you out!

Yelp
OMG the food was YUMMY! I needed to share some of my favorites that we tried! Food: Must try the shishito pepper wings! At first i was downplaying them and thinking how good could they be.... They came and were delicious. Perfectly crispy! Such good flavor! 10/10 Kimchi udon carbonara! 10/0 - immaculate flavor, you have to get this! Kimchi Carne Asada tacos 10/10 - such good flavor kimchi added such a fresh touch and a kick of spice. I love kimchi so this was a a star for me. Kimchi spam fried rice 8/10 -yummy! So filling & the spam added a good taste to the fried rice! Cajun Shrimp broil in the bag! 8/10 - pretty standard, how you would find it anywhere else! Really good and definitely hit the spot! My only downside for this restaurant is the parking . I drive a Tesla and I don't have a key. I wasn't able to utilize valet parking in the lot of the restaurant. And finding parking anywhere in that area is a complete nightmare. I should also mention we came pretty late on a Saturday, so it makes sense why It was so packed! Ended up having to pay 30 bucks next-door just to sit down and eat. Overall, the restaurant is super yummy. I would come again, and I love how it is open late.

Yelp
Louders is always my go to whenever I'm in K-town. Their food never misses! I always get the Booldak with cheese because their portions are big. The shrimp rose pasta was so flavorful. I brought a friend with me and they were amazed by how delicious it was!

Yelp
Louders is a bit more expensive compared to other places but their food doesn't really disappoint either. I wouldn't go back often, only if I'm really craving their kimchi bacon udon carbonara. The carbonara is super creamy and rich, and is one of their star plates IMO. While their chicken wings and fried rice were delicious and filling, I don't think there's anything too special about them that differentiates them from other places. The seating feels pretty compact to me but you can still move around. I think because the seating feels a bit compact, it is pretty loud to me (I went at night on a weekend). The servers notice you pretty quick if you need something. The parking lot is not free ($4 "valet" I believe) and it honestly is another reason why I wouldn't swing by this place often.

Yelp
Food: If your looking for a authentic Korean dining experience this isn't the spot. If you aren't a purist Louders selection of food is literally some of the best bar food you can get in Ktown. I personally love the wings here as well as the Bul Dak and the Korean Fusion Pastas. My only qualm about this place is that the portions have gotten smaller over the years but the quality of the flavor has not luckily. Service: Staff is fantastic here and when its slower they will definitely have a drink with you. It does get busy but they try there best and I have not had a bad experience once. Price: Even though its bar food its quite expensive but everything in Ktown has gotten more expensive over the years and I guess thats the price we pay for how popular the neighborhoods gotten. Ambiance: Good for a late night spot to have drinks and eat with your friends. The only problem is its a bit small and you may have to wait outside. The other thing to consider is that 7 Eleven next door has been notorious for a while now so beware I believe they hired a security guard literally because of that.

Yelp
I came here on a Saturday night with 3 other friends for dinner. We didn't have reservations but the wait wasn't long. This restaurant is located in a small plaza with valet parking, but it was full so we had to find street parking, which was challenging in K-Town. The menu had a hefty amount of items from appetizers, to pastas and rices and drinks. We ordered 3 dishes: Shrimp Rose Pasta, Baby Octopus + Pork Belly, and Soy Garlic Wings. The pasta was good (5/5), I really like it. Very flavorful, came with two slides of bread, and had two full shrimps and little shrimp bits. The soy garlic wings were also really good (5/5). The pieces were big, crispy on the outside and tender meat on the inside. I'm a huge fan of chicken wings, and these were one of my favorites I've had. The baby octopus + pork belly rice dish was okay (3/5). We ordered medium spicy so there was definitely a kick, which I didn't really like. I felt like the flavors didn't blend well together and it was a pricier dish. It was nice to try, but I probably wouldn't order it again. Overall, it was a nice pocha spot. We also ordered a bottle of soju and the restaurant itself was lively and packed, so the ambiance was really nice. Music was a bit loud, which I didn't mind, but it can be a little difficult to hear across the table.

Yelp
Is this place real? You guys blew my mind tonight. Man the seafood tasted like it was fresh from the ocean. I got clams, snow crab, and shrimp. This place is the best Cajun seafood I had in LA. Better then bucket o crab. Insane flavors. My mind is still blown...Good job guys and keep up the good work!

Yelp
I've always heard about this place so my friends and I decided to check it out on Saturday night. We didn't have to wait too long to be seated. The menu has good variety so there is something for everyone. Some items are a bit pricey but if you are doing family style and splitting the bill then it should be fine. Soy Garlic Wings (4/5): These were good! The fry was nice and crispy. It was a tad too sweet for my liking but nothing too bad. Shrimp Rose Pasta (4.5/5): They had pasta on their menu so we decided to try this one. A good portion with perfectly cooked shrimp. There was a lot of sauce which paired well with the bread. I wish it was a little more spicy though. Stir-fried Baby Octopus + Pork Belly (3.5/5): This was good but I don't know if it was $50 good. We picked the medium spice and it was a nice kick. I would've liked thicker pork belly. It was still a solid dish though. The waitress helped mix it all up for us. It is a good pocha spot to have dinner and drinks. It is pretty lively in there with everyone drinking and KPOP playing on the TVs. Overall a great place to try out if you are in the koreatown area. I will say that on a Saturday night the parking situation was obviously crazy and valet was full. Luckily we found street parking just on the other side of the block.

Yelp
Finally got to tried Louders! It is situated in the same plaza as Sun nong dan so it can get pretty crowded. The plaza is valet parking only for $4. I came on Saturday around 8:00PM and did not have to wait. However there were a lot of groups lining up when I came out. It is recommended you come with a group so you get to try different things. I tried the buldak (highly recommended), carbonara pasta, truffle fries, soy garlic wings, and gochujang wings. I LOVED the buldak, so full of flavor and awesome presentation. Their korean wings had great breading that made it crispy. The total came out to $23 a person for a group of six after 18% tip. Great deal if you asked me.

Yelp
A great pocha for dinner or post dinner meal and drinks! Loved the vibe, super cool lighting and decor. I suggest getting there early for weekend nights. The food is good, the menu has def expanded so there are a lot more items. I think getting the chicken is a must! The octopus kimchi fried rice is also really good and great for sharing! I also recommend the kimchi carbonara! The service is really fast, and the servers move really quickly so your food comes out pretty fast which is nice. Parking can be tricky once the lot gets full.

Yelp
A totally great hangout/chill spot to grab really delicious meals!! We were served quickly and my girlfriend and I were excited to come back here and try something new. Last time we came here was with friends on a night out in Koreatown and we ordered the Kimchi spam fried rice as well as the Boldak with Cheese. (When you order that one, you get an awesome presentation of the cheese being fired up and melted by one of the staffs!!) Anyways, so my girlfriend and I chose to get the Spicy Cheese Rice Cake (no cheese melting presentation), the Soy Garlic Fried Chicken Wings, & the 1/2 lbs Cajun Sausage. We couldn't help but add on to the server another order of the delicious Spam Kimchi Fried Rice so we got that also! The food is delicious! Inside, the ambiance is very loud. K-pop groups are blasting and playing on multiple TV screens around the room. You get folks inside eating in groups or as couples and there's usually alcohol involved so it's normal to hear a more rowdier crowd. It's a hype ambiance to eat in so we get very excited for the food to come. We had a good portion left as leftovers and we got in and out pretty quickly! P.S Parking is extremely tough, you're required to do valet parking if you want to park in the lot. The valet men offer $4 and reminded us it was for businesses only inside the plaza. Unfortunately, after we ate at Louders, I made a mistake suggesting to my girlfriend to walk to the plaza over to grab ice cream from one of my fav spots for some dessert. When we walked back to the lot, the man upped the charge and stated that it was $10 now. We showed how we DID eat in the plaza & had the food in to-go packaging but the man was stern and said, "Yeah but $4 only for this plaza. Not the other one." It was annoying to be honest and the man gave no sympathy to us not knowing. I wanted to say to next time let us know they'll charge us $10 if we also walk over to the plaza right next door even if we bought one of the businesses here. He then told us to walk all the way to the end of the lot to meet him there with our car so we just obliged. He got my car and zoomed really quickly and even past us, before parking it and leaving. Then he gave a stoic "Have a good night." That man was despicable and pretty much almost ruined our moods but we tried not to focus on it and just dropped it. So for others, please learn from our incident and keep that in mind. Koreatown parking is truly a headache.
