Mariscos El Moreno

On my weekend road trip by myself,decided to stop at Mariscos El Moreno,not gonna lie I was in San Pedro trying find a restaurant ,didnt know wether to eat menudo,birria or mariscos,from place to place ,I stopped by El Moreno after stopping to see another near by Mariscos restaurant. I ended up at El Moreno,made sure I could see my car where my dig was inside,small parking but luckily I found a good one. I ordered a Shrimp Tostada de Ceviche w a Pacifico,than the main order,Camarones a La diabla and 2nd beer.Not gonna lie it was delicious.I did noticed couple ordering big plates of botanas and sharing it or big groups of ppl. Evrything looked bomb. Ut is a lil pricey but worth it. Ladies workung there were all kind,good vibes!

1st but certainly not my last time that I will be visiting this little gem in Lynwood. What they do with seafood is off the charts! It's a "One of a kind" experience bar none. Eat Well Eat Often mi amigos!

Food here was delicious. I’m not a big fan on raw seafood but this change my perspective. I can say is one of the best I’ve had . The place has a small dine in area, but they make it work. I did see a lot of orders for take out, and I seen that the service was pretty fast. I definitely recommend it.

This place is delicious. It’s decent quality for the price as well. Ordered the fish ceviche, tuna ceviche, chicharrón de pescada, and the fish tacos. The fish ceviche and fish tacos were pretty good. The other two plates were okay. Definitely recommend the fish ceviche and fish tacos.

Not welcoming—don’t waste your time. We were made to wait outside in the heat, which we didn’t mind. But the second we walked in, the energy shifted. It was clear we weren’t welcome, and it felt like that had everything to do with how we looked. This is not a place for everyone, and that’s a shame in 2025. Do better. I wouldn’t recommend this spot to anybody.

Freaking amazing!! We got the Ceviche de pescado, caldo de pescado, y tacos de pescado! It’s too bad we got full because we wanted to keep eating lol but we took the rest to go. Our truck broke down so we were next door getting our truck worked on and Rudy(Mechanic) recommended this place to us and it did not disappoint! Such big portions and great price. We had a lot to take home and I also bought a bottle of their sauce they make in house! It’s really really good and has a nice kick to it 🌶️ thank you all and great service!

This food is amazing, the service is amazing. The parking is packed all the time. It is a small parking lot. The inside could definitely use more tables if they had the space. I have had a lot of seafood in my time but wow this place has some of the best seafood I have ever tried.

I came here from San Diego, we have other Mariscos places down there but this is probably the most flavorful Mariscos I have ever had highly recommend!!! I had aguachiles rojo so delicious😋 Definitely come back!

Best place to go for some fresh Mariscos! Ceviche is my favorite and I've tried it from so many places but theirs is my favorite! Inside is small for seating so it gets filled up quick but you can also order takeout. Service is friendly, and only bad thing is the parking lot is always packed and small.

This place used to be good NOT ANYMORE! HUGE pieces of ONION , TOMATO , whole shrimp and scallops ,,, NO SALT IN GUACAMOLE NEVER EVER RETURNING AGAIN Enserio no pueden partir las verduras bien ? Los mariscos enteros ? Wow El guacamole desabrido.... Sigan así perderán muchos clientes más !

Best seafood in town. Price is reasonable and I mostly order to go since their inside space is a bit small.

Food is always fresh and good. Every employee is very welcoming, friendly and attentive. The ambiance is good, they have music playing from their TV, the other TV's are showing soccer games and other sports. You can't go wrong here, anything you order is delicious right on point! I highly recommend this place for fresh and delicious seafood..

Food is really good. The flavors are the Bomb! I usually order La Pachenga- it's mixed fried seafood... it has mussels, prawns, shrimp, calamari, fried fish and bedded with rice. It's a bit spicy but it super delicious and it's fresh. The only this is It's just really far from where I live but the food is really worth it! Parking is very limited. I only come here to pick up food.

Haven't been here in years, brought my bf today the food all looks so good couldn't make my mind on what to order. Everything was very tasty just be aware super spicy so be careful. The parking is very small might have to park in the street. The restaurant is very small but don't let the appearance fool you.

Food and portions are very generous. Seasoning is great, the aguachiles charola was way bigger than we expected and was very well served; with a very tasty sauce.

The food was great, the service was excellent. The ambience was ok the music was too loud to the point we had to raised our voice to hear or order. I would definitely go back.

Got takeout from this place and I am absolutely obsessed! The aguachile verde is flavorful with just enough spice. The tostada serving is enough for 2-3 tostadas! The ceviche campechana is loaded with mariscos and it's prepared perfectly that you don't even have to add anything else to it. I will definitely be coming back!

My bf brought me here for the first time and it was soo good! We got a plate that had a mix of diff type of seafood! Service was fast and staff was very attentive! Very small and was really packed when we went but it's definitely WORTH it. Wait wasn't long at all.

The charolas mixtas are always amazing and very well served. My family and I like to get it with Salsa Moreno. We have been going here for years and they never disappoint. Se los recomiendo!

Hello I came to try this place to see what all the hype was about. First picture was of a tostada de ceviche de camarón con pulpo. To be honest I was disgusted at the fact that the shrimp were shredded ,only three were whole and not de gutted. So if you don't mind having feces with your food go right in. Second picture is of a shrimp cocktail that again we're not de gutted and had feces all on them. Truly deceiving since the reviews are high.

Best Marisco spot ever! I've tried mostly everything on the menu since I'm a regular customer and everything never disappoints. The micheladas are the best. Friendly staff

I don't love giving away my favorite spots but this is by far my number one seafood spot in the area. It's a little drive but if you call the order in it's easy. The food is always fresh and the best part this place is 100% consistent. You will not be disappointed.

Order to go easy pickup parking was a little bit of an issue, but no big deal Will definitely be stopping there again

Went there on Sunday for the first time, food had delicious sauces but now I know why! My family and I Woke up with the worst food poisoning ever!! Order a tray with fish, shrimp, and octopus. It had to be the Fish or everything was old and/or bad already so they tossed it in sauce, Beware!!! Never going back. Fui allí el domingo por primera vez, la comida tenía deliciosas salsas, ¡pero ahora sé por qué! ¡Mi familia y yo nos despertamos con la peor intoxicación alimentaria de la historia! Pide una botana con pescado, camarones y pulpo. Tenía que ser el pescado o todo ya estaba viejo y / o malo, así que lo echaron en salsa, ¡cuidado! Nunca volver!

This is the spot for Mariscos. They never disappoint. Food is on point, atmosphere is good and service great. We have been coming to Mariscos El Moreno for years, we are loyal customers.

nothing aggravates me more than getting an incomplete order. picked up order got to work and my ordered was incomplete it's a 20miles away from my job and 20 to come back! i called to complained about the order being incomplete because that means one of my techs won't have lunch, note that my order was 3 trays of sea food and extras, yet they told me to go back and picked them up, or get a credit for 30days when it was their mistake. I won't ever go back to this restaurant again! Terrible customer service.

This place is petty they charge you 2.50 for a cup of unfiltered water. Never been anywhere where they charge for a cup of water. Food was ok I've had better mariscos

I ordered a charola , understandable a bit pricey since everything is . The food is very fresh , I enjoyed it . Ambiance ? I wouldn't know since people who ordered by phone are not allowed inside restaurant.

The parking was horrible and the waiter was not so friendly I ordered a shrimp cocktail and they served it in a plastic bowel there was more juice then shrimp and the waiter had a bad attitude

I can't comment on the ambiance nor the service, only the food. Everything on the takeout party tray tasted good while eating it, however, it resulted in food poisoning for the majority of people who ate it. Only those who limited themselves to the shrimp are fine. Hopefully this was an isolated incident and no other trays or plates were contaminated because this is the worst food poisoning I've ever experienced.

Food was great! the price was reasonable. this is definitely a plate you wanna share between 3-4 people. the service once we got there was ok. she asked for how many and i said 2 and she said ok let me check if we have space so we waited outside. we went inside and there were only 2 tables taken so idk why she had to go ask if we could be sat down. the server inside was ok, service nothing orginary.

We ordered the shrimp ceviche, and it did not disappoint. Service is okay. They are busy and a small establishment. It is a casual and more of a "take out" type of restaurant.

We ordered a charola de ceviche de camarón. It was a NYE party hit! They made our charola with right amount of shrimp not like other restaurants that over do it with the cucumber and tomato.

Actually pretty good. Prices were fair. Didn't believe the hype at first but I get it now. Good food. Good prices just have to be sure to take it to go ‍

We love this place! We got a platter for 20 people and it is WELLL served and worth the price. Has a bed of crab and layers of oysters, octopus w their green Chile yum! They give you tostadas and tapatío packets w your order. Always our go to ceviche place even if we have to make a long drive

Everything tastes amazing but the spot is small to eat there. If you're going to order from here to pick up, give them about 30-60 mins to have your food ready. This place is always busy. But worth it.

Mariscos el moreno employees got our order wrong and yet they did not want to continue with the reimbursement they had agreed on . I believe its so unfair due to how pricey it can be . Along with that they were very poor attitude from the employees

Very good food! Recommends this place very much. We got morenos aguachiles and mix aguachiles, their sauces were delicious. We also got a campechana and was also super good.

No I don't recommend because if I do then I definitely won't be able to get a table. Mariscos el Moreno is one of my favorite places to eat everything is excellent there even the asada tacos.

The food was a 2/10 trash. The service aswell isn't so great, we went to go eat today on a Sunday and while me and my partner were eating we got asked to moved to another table mid way of taking a bite of our food. So unprofessional and disrespectful. Won't be coming here again.

Hands down my favorite place. Este lugar es para los que si saben de mariscos y de puro sabor. This is a family owned place, I've been lucky enough to enjoy Moreno's one and only specialty sauces and creations. All my birthday parties and special events are catered by Moreno's in Lynwood. 5 stars for me ! Hidden Gem. Mostly always packed but we'll worth the wait.

Great service! They're aguachiles are the best and definitely recommend they're micheladas. Love coming here, you can't go wrong! One thing is the parking is small but you can always find parking across the street if you don't mind a little walk.

Let me start off by saying the food is delicious the prices are average and most of the staff is nice. It's a good "to-go" restaurant. The reason I'm giving this restaurant 3 stars is because you don't feel welcomed as you approach the door... they have strip door curtains and podium outside with a list. You can't just walk in to order with out being asked tons of questions. God forbid you walk in at 7pm because the waitress's are reminding you they close at 8pm as they seat you. They remind you again while your eating and again every 10 minutes. They don't stop making food at 8pm which is the time that is posted in front of the business as closing ours. At 7:30 they remind you the kitchen is closing down. They're actually indirectly telling you that you'll be KICKED OUT AT 8pm even if your in the middle of eating your food. At 7:15 all the chairs that are un-occupied start going up on top of the table so they can start sweeping and moping while your eating which is incredible TACKY. 5minutes till 8 they bring you the check and they offer containers to go

Fire fire fire, my favorite seafood place Togo in LA. Any mariscos dish with salsa morena it's a must, try it it won't disappoint . At times the it might be busy but worth the wait .
