Polished operation with exposed-wood beams furnishing contemporary Indian cuisine.
"After building a strong following as a pop-up inside Fremont’s Pomerol, the contemporary Indian cuisine specialist Meesha became a full-fledged restaurant in 2020. Among some of the can’t-miss dishes from chef Preeti Agarwal are rarah keema pao with expertly prepared ground lamb, the fried Amritsari fish, and the paneer in tomato sauce with black cardamom." - Eater Staff
"At Meesha, an upscale Indian restaurant in Fremont, the food is pretty good, but not great enough to enthusiastically endorse. Garam masala-spiced ground lamb sliders are tasty, but laced with a touch too much salt and pickled red onions that add even more. We’d be fans of the charcoal-smoked chicken in a rich tomato-cashew sauce if the pieces of meat didn’t vary in dryness. And paneer lasagna sounds exciting in theory, yet it’s really just thin slices of bruleed paneer sandwiched with wet spinach for $28. If you’re in the market for a quiet last-minute first date that involves drinks and buttery kulcha bread in a fancy wallpaper-covered space, proceed. Otherwise, we would direct you to Saffron Grill, Taste Of India or Annapurna Cafe for more consistent Indian dishes." - Aimee Rizzo

"After over a year building a strong following as a pop-up, the Indian tasting menu specialist Meesha became a full-fledged restaurant in 2020, as chef and owner Preeti Agarwal makes the switch from her stewardship of Fremont French spot Pomerol. Among some of the can’t-miss dishes are ram ladoo (crispy lentil fritters with radish slaw) and the handi paneer in tomato fenugreek sauce." - Gabe Guarente
