Casual yet polished, this refined eatery dazzles with locally sourced American fare, craft cocktails, and a sun-drenched ambiance that promises a memorable meal.
"Executive chef and Mezze co-owner Nicholas Moulton won big on Food Network’s Guy’s Grocery Games in 2019, inspiring Guy Fieri to dub him the “veggie king.” The title fits Moulton even better off-screen at Mezze, where he works up a contemporary farm-to-table menu. Seasonal options might include miso-marinated bistro steak with roasted onion and delicata squash jam; scallion pancakes with lacinato kale; or petite butternut squash with beluga lentils, hen-of-the-woods mushrooms, and fermented squash-seed curry." - Emma Van Slyck, Stephanie Gravalese
"Technically Mezze is located right outside Williamstown, not North Adams. But don’t let geographical nuances or the short 15-minute drive keep you away - this is one of the best restaurants in New England. Located in a house that could easily double as an art museum, this farm-to-table spot (with a rather romantic outdoor patio) serves some really great seasonal dishes. It’s all very well thought-out, and at $65 per person for a three-course meal, also one of the more affordable fine dining options around. If you only have time for one place in the Berkshires, Mezze should be at the top of your list." - joel ang

"Bolognese We’ve come to expect a certain experience when we order bolognese, namely a weighted blanket of tomato, ground meat, and a lot of cheese. So we were confused when Mezze, one of the best restaurants in the Berkshires, served a dish filled with breadcrumbs and, therefore, some unusually crunchy noodles. But once we got over our initial shock, we realized we really enjoyed the added texture. The breadcrumbs made every bite interesting, serving almost as savory pop-rocks for pasta. We’re all in." - joel ang
"Mezze, a robust farm-to-table bistro that’s well worth the 15-minute ride into neighboring Williamstown. Locals, visitors, and farmers alike converge on three sprawling acres of Berkshire hills to savor contemporary American cuisine, offered in a three-course prix fixe menu." - Asha Dirshe
