Mills Market - Review - Mills 50 - Orlando - The Infatuation

"Mills Market used to be a Vietnamese grocery store before they cleared out the aisles and turned the space into an excellent food hall. It’s quality over quantity when it comes to the five vendors. You can get a crackly banh mi from Bánh Mì Boy, dozens of different onigiri from UniGirl, and pork belly too crunchy to eat in a library courtesy of Kai Kai BBQ. There’s no weak link in the lineup and not a single bad decision on any menu. So bring a hungry group and go wild. Just be prepared to stand while you eat. Chairs are a precious resource inside. Food Rundown Bánh Mì Boy Special If you're here for a bánh mì, head straight to Bánh Mì Boy and order this. Nothing in this sandwich comes out of a plastic bag. They bake the bread themselves, make the paté, and slice the cold cuts fresh. Orlando is a bánh mì city and this is one of the very best. PlayMute video credit: Ryan Pfeffer Onigiri UniGirl has dozens of paper bags of nigiri, waiting to be plucked and paid for. The fillings range from spicy garlic crab to fried chicken, but the rice is the most impressive component: warm, seasoned, and not gummy. All of the food at Mills Market is takeout-friendly, but this is particularly perfect for stocking up on road trip snacks. PlayMute Crispy Pork The Kai Kai BBQ stand has a bunch of delicious-looking roasted meats hanging on hooks. If you’re overwhelmed by choices, go for the crispy pork, which has meltingly tender meat and skin that deserves an adjective more aggressive than “crispy.” PlayMute video credit: Ryan Pfeffer" - Ryan Pfeffer

This Converted Supermarket in Orlando is a MICHELIN Hot Spot

"Reopened last year by husband-and-wife restaurateurs Johnny Tung and Cecilia Nguyen, this converted supermarket regularly draws all-day lines across its half-dozen stalls, with cuisines from across Asia prepared by an expert chef team. Rooted in the history of Little Saigon and Orlando’s Vietnamese community, the space preserves the market’s original charm and layout rather than leaning into a trendy food hall makeover, while expanding to include Japanese, Chinese, and more. Shared kitchens foster delicious synergy—like a roast duck bánh mì that marries crisped fowl from Kai Kai with a fresh-baked Bánh Mì Boy loaf, homemade pate, cucumbers, cilantro, and hoisin—and plans ahead include a speakeasy whisky bar and night market events with DJ-fueled after-party vibes. It’s a nostalgic place that’s also forward-looking and tuned to what a new generation wants." - The MICHELIN Guide

Orlando’s Best New Restaurants | Eater Miami

"James Beard-nominated restaurateurs Johnny and Jimmy Tung revitalized and reimagined the old Tien Hung Market in Mills 50 into one of the hottest venues in the city. The snaking lines to sample the onigiri at UniGirl and the Japanese curry at Cowboy Curry are convincing enough. Add KaiKai’s Hong Kong-style cuisine (beef chow fun, char siu pork, crispy duck, and dim sum items are standouts), Banh Mi Boy’s killer handhelds and Zaru’s superlative slurps of udon to the mix and it’s easy to see why this revamped food hub should have legs for years to come. Sightings of Top Chef Season 3 winner Hung Huynh, who recently opened his Saigon Snow dessert stand inside the market, are an additional draw." - Faiyaz Kara

Google
Such a fun market with so many options and really fun touches. It is very clean and well organized. I had no problem finding people to help me when I was looking for a specific Bean bun. They have a fun dress-up photo booth and a claw machine which I happen to win a fuzzy little monster keychain from. I got a strawberry bun, mochi, amazing flan, and the the best mooncake that I've ever had. There's a lot of dining options here as well as a store that unfortunately was closed at the time but peeking through the window it looked like it had some really unique items. You should definitely check it out.

Google
What a great Asian food court! Best Bhanmi I’ve ever had. Many booths have Michelin guide and it lives upto the hype. Chinese place was authentic and price were all reasonable. Bubble tea was delicious. We had a fun late night snack after arriving at Orlando. Hard to find parking on the weekends since it gets very crowded. If you want to try variety of good Asian food, highly recommend this place.

Google
This place is a must if you are into good food and in the Mills area near downtown Orlando. It has multiple places to choose from. Kai Kai and Unigirl are my personal favorite! There is also a little market there where they sell to-go or quick drinks, desserts, pastries, and sandwiches. Last night we grabbed a Ube flan and OMG…delicious. Try it out

Ended up at this place because Moa Kia was not open on Sunday for some reason. Parking at Mills Market is a nightmare. Also the AC inside was not working properly. They definitely need more seating. Despite all that, it’s a really amazing experience. I went for the Cowboy Curry but also got food to go from Kai Kia. So much to try. I want it all. I’ll definitely be back to be even more adventurous with the offerings. I’m hopeful the AC will be working correctly or the temperature and humidity are better outside.

Passing through Orlando and wife found this hub for Asian Eats thru TikTok! Was a bit busy/crowded but well worth the wait. We went to Kai Kai Bbq & Dumplings and ordered the 3-meat rice box with bbq chicken, crispy pork and roast duck; Chinese Sausage Fried Rice and roast duck bao. Food was delish and would come back here next time in town! Highly recommend!

Google
What a great place! I’ve been wanting to come here for a while, being in Jax. Tried a couple of places here and everything was terrific. It is a tight space and gets packed quickly. I definitely recommend getting here early to find parking or to get a table and a chair to sit. Some places don’t open till later, but it’s worth the wait. I need to make the drive back up and try more of the stands in here.

Google
The Mills Market was a great experience. All of our food was delicious. There’s 4-5 different stands at the market. We ordered from Kai Kai and uni girl. Everything we got was really tasty. There are also different pastries and things to purchase. The market could benefit from more seating as it is a small place with limited seating and gets very busy. Therefore, it is important to have someone in your party snag a table if you want to sit to eat. I also found the place to be a little warm inside. I recommend checking it out.

Google
This is the NEATEST Place!!! If you enjoy trying new things and different foods, please come here!! It’s small and there is limited seating (you have to just take turns or whatever) but, still worth it! We just chowed down in our car and went back for other stuff! You gotta try their Duck, the Sugar Cane Drink and the Snow Dessert 😋 Yum!!!!

Yelp
Very crowded on a Sunday afternoon at lunchtime but manageable! Lots of good choices of Asian food. I had a chicken banh mi and an iced Thai coffee. My colleagues and I are in town for work and I recommended this market to my whole team, it's close enough to walk to from our hotel! (Marriot residence)

Yelp
I know KaiKai is supposed to be the bee's knees but I didn't think it was that great. The roast pork did have a very nice soft crunch that was airy but there wasn't much flavor to the meat. The roasted duck did have a nice crunch and shine to it but again, the meat had not much flavor- not even the sauce. Just fatty and normally I feel like the fatty parts have all the wonderful seasonings in it but sadly it was also pretty plain. The bok-choy on the side had more flavor to it, yikes. The service was very quick and friendly. The dim sum is a no go at all- the siumai and hargow tasted like left over dim sum reheated in too much moisture? It was soggy and broke- it tasted mushy more than anything else. Born and raised in San Francisco and go to HK once a year since I was a baby- I had pretty high expectations. Bahn Mi special according to my husband was wonderful! :) Uni-Girl- we tried the miso salmon, but it was soooooo fishy? It didn't taste quite like the savory salmon I was expecting? Living in Hawaii and having some super ono onigiri hole in the wall places may have spoiled me. Overall, I felt this place was fun to visit once, but definitely overhyped by TikTok and Instagram. Everything was a bit pricey for portion- so lost another star.

Yelp
Our children insisted that we tried desserts here after our dinner across the street. It is located at where Tien Hung market used to be. I really like this food court like concept, which allows you to see different food vendors, pick what you want, whether it is Japanese Curry, Sushi, Cantonese cuisine, desserts, Vietnanese banh mi, or just yummy snacks. I could see the touch of history, convenient with grab n go and a little bit of many good choices. For desserts, we had some delicious shaved ice cream at Saigon Snow. I will return at another time to try the other vendors.

Yelp
Parking was rough at lunch hour, but was the fight worth it? Yah, I'd say so. The place was packed, poppin', boppin'! People everywhere eating all kinds of asian delicacies. I stopped at multiple spots inside including UniGirl and Kai Kai. Had my first Onigiri at UniGirl Don't know why I never thought of it, but curry on a hashbrown?! But OMG. Best bite of the day. Crispy, crunchy, PACKED with flavor. Kai Kai had full ducks roasting. I knew this was my moment. And they did not disappoint. Got the Roast Duck Bao ($8.95). Also the Passionfruit juice ($4.95). Oh my goodness, I was worried about artificial flavors, but the fresh passionfruit flavors were a hit! And I will be back, specifically, for that drink.

Yelp
Mills Market - Orlando This place is super popular and full of energy, especially on Sundays. If you arrive around noon, parking can be tough and there are lines at each stall, so I recommend coming a bit later (around 1:30-2:00 p.m.) for a smoother experience. The food was excellent and very diverse. We tried the summer rolls with shrimp, mint, and cilantro -- so fresh and delicious; the Singapore noodles with curry and shrimp, full of flavor; and an Asian-style pork belly sandwich, which was amazing. We also loved the seasoned hash brown, really tasty. Even though it gets busy, the place stays clean thanks to staff constantly clearing tables, and we never had trouble finding a seat. Service was friendly and polite across the different vendors. Prices are reasonable, and the food feels authentic, prepared by Asian cooks who clearly know their flavors. Lively, affordable, and truly tasty, definitely worth a visit!

Yelp
FINALLY THEY INSTALLED AIR CONDITIONERS!!!! This place needed high volume AC units and its finally COOLER inside! Whew!!! Anyways came here to grab pounds of Char Siu from Kai Kai. Strolling around the array of snacks etc they did not have any summer rolls but I was eyeing the multi colored layered steam rice cakes. They were $3,99 for 3 slices. Finally lined up for Kai Kai for my Char Siu BBQ. The Char Siu was delicious. Fatty areas in between the meats and the meat was freshly out the cooker. I always request duck sauce gravy to dip the meats and drizzle the white rice. This is my go to order when I go to Kai Kai. It was not busy for a friday - But I was not in and out so maybe in the evening it probably got busier. Parking here is always a challenge so just be mindful.

Yelp
This place has been getting some buzz so I wanted to go check it out. I wouldn't consider myself a connoisseur of Asian cuisine and I often get quite picky so I was concerned. I was very pleasantly surprised at how clean nice and well decorated the space was. I ended up ordering spring rolls which were the best I've ever had. I also got the scallion, pancakes and pork, shrimp dumplings of course I had to try their famous fresh squeezed sugarcane juice as well. Everything tasted fantastic. Service was very friendly. Everyone was helpful and nice. I definitely will be going back to try some of the other food options that looks good to me.

Yelp
This place is always so bustling with people on the weekends! But it's because all the kiosks are top notch. Kai Kai is tops for their delicious char sui and duck. Bahn Mi Boys make my fave crispy pork Banh Mi. The fatty pork and the crisp veggies are a winning combo. Uni Girl makes the best onigiri.. you can't go wrong with the crispy chicken and their tuna is my go to. You wouldn't think tuna could taste so good! I haven't tried Cowboy Curry or Saigon Snow yet. The selection of snacks and buns is really great too. Pro tip.. come during the week or very early on the weekend to avoid the congestion. It's so hard to find a place to sit and enjoy food. I wish it was more comfy but hey, everyone is there because it's delish.

Yelp
06/2025 Rating: 4.0 About a year ago, I learned about UniGirl on insta and inadvertently discovered Mills Market because I had no idea that it was located inside this building. During that first visit, we found a jewelry store, a small grocery store, UniGirl, a Vietnamese Banh Mi Boy and Chinese food Kai Kai. Half of the building was closed off. Only a few tables and chairs were available and the line for UniGirl was all growing all the way to the back door. But, we came back the next day for more of that delicious roasted duck and crispy pork from Kai Kai. During this visit, the market has expanded its horizon and have new vendors. Needless to say the place is packed. Now they have Cowboy Curry which is Japanese inspired curry dishes. Saigon Snow is an Asian Dessert place with it's fine shaved ice and more. There are also more seating and tables. One wall was lined with refrigerator with a variety of drinks and desserts. There are also lots of baked good and traditional Asian snacks. Overall, we love coming here because we come for the usual goodies but also we keep discovering new things. The price point varies as well, there are something to eat for every budget. I had to take away one star because of the parking. Unfortunately, no parking stresses me out. Parking is scarce and the spaces are quite narrow. So come early, or in an Uber. But for sure it will be worth it.

Yelp
Mills Market is a gem! I love how busy it is -- with so many options, from grab and go sandos, to delicious entrees and desserts. I've stopped by for lunch and dinner, and they are wildly popular for a good reason. UniGirl, Kai Kai, Bahn Mi Boy, and Saigon Snow are all amazing -- what a fantastic spot with so many delicious options!

Yelp
Mills Market is a busy and bustling place for Asian cuisine, with a smaller market as well. We came on a Saturday night, which was packed with people - luckily we were able to find a table with seats so you'll need to get here a bit early. We decided to get bahn mi and the soft shell crab spider roll to share. The bread is soft to bite into with a crispy, toasted outer texture. It held well with all the fillings in each bite. The only callout is if you can't handle spice, be careful with the jalapeños because they add big slices to the bahn mi and those peppers were especially spicy that day even for my group that can handle spice. The soft shell crab spider roll was the special of the day and it tasted amazing with the spicy ginger sauce and the fresh, crunchy veggies. The mint provides a much needed cooling effect and the crab meat is fried and coated with lots of flavor. I recommend trying it if you're able to! Overall, there are plenty of options to try at Mills and you really can't go wrong with what you order!

Yelp
This was my first visit, and I'm happy to say it won't be my last! We tried the pork gyoza, Thai tea (a personal favorite), crispy wings, and the shrimp noodle combo. While a few of the kiosks weren't open yet, that just gives me a reason to come back and explore more. All of the employees were friendly and sweet. The wings lived up to their name--crispy and satisfying--though they could've used a bit more flavor. The standout for me was the lemongrass banh mi: the bread was perfectly toasted, and the meat was thinly sliced, juicy, and full of flavor. The only downside was the limited seating--more chairs or stools would definitely improve the experience. Still, I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the food overall. Looking forward to returning and trying even more next time!

Yelp
If you are looking for a little bit of everything come here to this Asian plaza. We came and it was super packed but it was also peak lunchtime (12:30PM). The lot in the back was super packed so we knew we would be waiting some time for some good food. Here's what we ordered from each vendor: Uni Girl: Handmade onigiris: We got Miso tantan $4.50, spicy garlic crab $6.50), tuna Mayo $4.50, and a miso salmon $4.50. Each of them were tasty. The crab was a little bit pricey but it was chunky fresh crab so I see why the $2 price difference. Kai Kai: Chinese food/dim sum: We got a rice plate with 2 types of meat, duck and roast pork $16.95. Dim Sum we got Siu Mai $7.95 for 5 pieces. Not the best I've had but still pretty good. The fried shrimp ball was HUGE and really good. The outsider layer was crunchy and they did not skimp on filling. It comes with 3 big pieces and some sweet sour sauce $7.95. Lastly we tried the honey BBQ pork bar (pan fried) $8.95 comes with 3. I was a little disappointed by this as I was expecting a new crust no the bottom of the bao. However mine was burnt....total fail. The inside was fine and had good amounts of bbq pork and I think if they didn't burnt the bottom it would be really good. They also sell whole ducks, chickens, and pork by the pound. Also this was the longest line there.... Banh mi boy: We got some banh mi for the plane! Crispy pork belly $9.99 and a char sui pork banh mi $9.99. Both came with generous amount of meat and toppings. Their aioli spread is also tasty. They have a a buy 5 get 1 free deal too. We got the Thai tea and green Thai tea (super unique but tastes like jasmine) both $4.95. I prefer the regular Thai tea. I wanted to try the Cowboy Curry but they said it ran out so that must be really good to have run out all ready by 12:30PM. We came too late darn it! And don't forget to save room for dessert: Saigon Snow: Snow bowls with generous amounts of pandan mochi, cassava cake and Rice Krispies toppings! This was super refreshing and you can customize the 2 fruits on top, we got mango and strawberry and both went well with our mango snow. $9.50 They have tables to sit at or stand at. It does get super crowded around lunch time and it did die down by the time we left around 2PM. Next time we have to come earlier so we can try the Cowboy Curry!

Yelp
I enjoyed my visit to Mills Market. It was extremely packed , and the ambiance was loud , but the line moved fast . Kai Kai probably had the longest line. I grabbed a strawberry & Kiwi sandwich & a peach soda . Then I grabbed 2 onigiris from Uni girl. My meal from Kai Kai was the Beef chow fun platter & the fried shrimp balls. My onigiris I chose were the tuna with mayo & the shrimp tempura. The sandwich I had I would count as my sweets because it was a sweet cream with strawberry & kiwi fruit . I've been here before, but this was my first time trying Kai Kai bbq. I would def come back my food was delicious!

Yelp
Hands down the BEST shrimp spring rolls in Orlando!" I stopped by Mills Market and ordered their shrimp spring rolls, and wow--I was blown away. The shrimp was perfectly cooked, juicy, and fresh, paired with crisp veggies wrapped tightly in delicate rice paper. Every bite had the perfect balance of flavor and texture, and the dipping sauce took it to the next level. You can taste the freshness and the care put into making these rolls. They're light, refreshing, and absolutely delicious--perfect for lunch or a quick snack. If you're in Orlando, especially around Mills, do yourself a favor and try them. This is officially my go-to spot for shrimp spring rolls! Service is always amazing & ambiance is very down to earth.

Yelp
This former Asian grocery has transformed itself into a pretty cool food hall that got really popular. There are a number of places like Bahn Mi Boy, Saigon Snow, Cowboy Curry, and some other places serving up some decent Asian food. There's even a hot bar where you pay at the counter and get the food items there. Seating is terrible. I feel like they have more space or could organize it a bit better. Some tables have chairs and some don't and it's really kind of a cluster of madness. And what's up with the jewelry store in the back? That's a bit out of place... move it out and put in more tables! Parking is also terrible. You may be able to find a place on 50 (East Colonial), but more than likely you'll look for a spot in the narrow aisles in the back. I'm sure I'll go back, but I'd shoot for some non-busy hours as lines and waits can be long..

Yelp
Really enjoyed our trip to Mills Market today! We went at 3 o'clock on a Saturday thinking it wouldn't be that crowded, but it was absolutely mobbed! Had to wait a while to get selections from Uni girl and Bahn Mi Mai Boy and Saigon Snow... But we were able to eventually find a seat and enjoy our delicious treats. We had never had onigiri before and were really intrigued. They were small handhelds but really filling with very fresh flavors. We tried the tuna, fried chicken and pork. The pork was our by far our favorite. The tuna had a bit of tunafish sandwich flavor, which wasn't really our vibe. These folks are working their butt off and turning out a lot of product, but everything was fresh and delicious. The summer rolls we had from Banh Mi Boy were the BEST I've ever had and were really affordable based on the size. We also had shaved ice from Saigon Snow and the portions were huge and so delicious. Highly recommend! Only thing keeping them from five stars was the lack of seating but the food was fabulous as was the service. Highly recommend.

Yelp
Mills Market is such a gem in Orlando. It is a Japanese and Asian inspired market with a handful of booths inside serving everything from boba tea and pastries to smoothies, chicken over rice, and duck over rice. Today I just ordered the Japanese coffee and it honestly blew me away. It is very strong but not bitter at all. It is smooth, naturally sweet, with a nice roasted flavor. Hands down the best coffee in Orlando, even better than Foxtail or Haan. I usually come here for the shrimp dumplings and those are an absolute must if you visit. Between the dumplings and this coffee, Mills Market has become one of my go to spots in the city. It is also the perfect place to come with friends or to take a date to. I have included a photo of the coffee and the atmosphere so you can see what makes this place special. Service was a 10/10!!

Yelp
There's a ton of great options at this market and I can't wait to come back. I only got the ube flan this time. It was really good and had a great ube flavor and paired well with the pandan layer on top. They have so many snack options, many are viral on social media. There's not always a person at the cash register because I think they sometimes work in multiple areas, but there's a bell you can ring to let them know you're there, I waited less than a minute for the cashier. There's plenty of seating in the food court area shared with the other food booths nearby.

Yelp
Wow this place was so cool but super packed for a 2pm on a Wednesday! I'm glad to see business thrive like this. Due to amount of people we just went to try Uni girl, they sell different types of unigiris. The spicy crab was good and they don't use imitation crab which is what I expected. Most of the flavors were good and unique! I'll have to come back and try the other businesses here.

Yelp
We bought some sandwiches and some desserts with a cold drink. The food was fantastic. The recommendations we got from the staff was outstanding. They made sure that we had everything we needed. There was a lot to choose from the ambience was bright. The menus were clear and what you did not understand and they could help you with

Yelp
This review is solely for the section with baked goods and food items under a heated lamp. I ordered the takoyaki and hated it. It was cold, mushy, and not crunchy at all. Being that it's seafood and was held essentially at room temperature since the heating lamp did nothing, I decided to not continue to eat more due to fear of potential food poisoning. The staff member behind the counter was emotionless, not polite, and looked as if he hated his job. I will definitely not buy from them again.

Yelp
I would have continued to just pass by this place until I started digging into this gen of a place. They have a few food counters in the location. so there would be a lot of choices available for many different tastes. There are tables and chairs - high tops and regular tables as well as some larger sizes for larger groups. Each of the locations we walked by we were asked by the staff if we had questions or if they were busy would at least make eye contact to indicate that we will be with you in a minute. I appreacited the information and menus were easy to see/read and have questions answered.

Yelp
Mills Market is a new food hall-like concept in the Mills 50 District, operating in the former Tien Hung Market Oriental Food Center. They are still in the process of updating the space and adding new vendors, but it's been a great addition to the neighborhood! So far, the vendors include Kai Kai BBQ & Dumplings, Banh Mi Boy, UniGirl, and Saigon Snow. They also announced a new concept, Cowboy Curry, opening in early 2025. There's still a small selection of oriental groceries available to shop, but that section feels a little out of place in my opinion. They could definitely stand to add more tables and seating instead. Both times I've visited, there has not been any tables available and we had to wait awhile for people to leave to have a place to eat. The sandwiches and fresh juices from Banh Mi Boy have all been great and we really enjoyed our dessert from Saigon Snow as well. I haven't had a chance to try UniGirl yet, but it's on my list! There is free parking in the lot behind the building as well as along E Colonial.

Yelp
Finally got to try Mills Market today and everything we tried was incredible. It was very busy and parking was difficult. All the staff were friendly. There isn't too much seating, but a lot of tables you can stand at, which we don't mind, just be prepared to stand if all the stools and chairs are occupied. Our favorite thing we tried was the Banh Mi cheesesteak sandwich. Sooo good! The lychee passion tea from Banh Mi boy was also amazing! We tried something from each of the places and loved everything. I'll definitely be back!

Yelp

Yelp
We heard about the hype and we came out to try mills market. We came on a Sunday afternoon, it was pretty busy, the lines were kinda long but it seems es to flow pretty quickly. Uni girls wait in like was like 10 minutes, so fairly quickly, ans the cashier was super nice. Kai Kai's line was much longer and took like 35 minutes to order. We got dumplings, wings singapore rice noodles They were really quick to have the food ready, it was a 10 minute wait. The reason why I didn't give a five star was because while we were waiting for our food at Kai Kai, we saw one of the lady's cooking on the Banh Mi boy blow her nose with her gloves on and didn't change them. We let one of the runners know discreetly and he went over and let her know to changer her gloves, which she did immediately. If you come here keep in mind that you may not get a table or stand to eat because tables are limited. Also they have fans running but the location doesn't have really cold AC.

Yelp
So many gems in one spot! Get all your cravings, meal, snacks, AND desserts. Lots of seating and tall bar tables. Each business/vendor has their own checkout line. The grab & go bakery items and produce are purchased at the check out bar on the right side corner.

Yelp
I went there for my birthday and I wanted to share my experience as I saw this promoted on my tiktok for months, and wanted to give an honest review. I came here for my birthday as I had been disconnected from my asian roots for quite some time after coming to America and wanted to reconnect in some way. First off, this place was extremely loud. It wasn't from the people but the music and it gave me a headache. The music was so loud it overwhelmed some people being able to communicate orders to the staff at times. We tried most of the things available that day from riceballs to the bakery near the register. The riceballs we got were the chicken and the spicy tuna. They were both greasy somehow and the rice felt like eating a brick. There was very little filling and I would rate it a C+ overall. The staff was nice but the food was obviously left out for a bit that it became like a rock. It was a slow day, but it was not pleasant to eat and really hurt my teeth. The bakery items were better but the chocolate bun tasted very chemically. The custard bun has very little filling and felt more like eating bread than custard. The eggrolls were amazing and were cheap I loved those. The drinks in the fridge were varied and even though I didn't like some of them; it is still a really nice options to have. The grossest item to eat was shockingly the sando. The sandwich filled with cream and strawberries was sickenly sweet and not in a fun pleasant way. It had very little strawberries that were bruised and you could taste the mush from those areas. The cream was chemical tasting with a strong taste of a splenda like sweetener that was very unpleasant. The taro buns were two different feelings despite both being buns. The one that mixed with taro was the best bun; it was soft and sweet in a very heavenly way. The other that has a little white heart on top was flakey but not in a soft way. It felt like eating stale potato chips; it went in the gaps of my teeth and stabbed me a few times and was too sweet. I love sugar but it had the hint of that chemically splenda like flavor the other problem items had. The bakery I would give a B- as it does have extremely good items also in there I remember also enjoying but forgot the names of, but these were the main items for me I was excited for and most of them were very disappointing. I will go back to the other restaurants in the future, as they were busy despite not many people being there. I understand prep work so don't hold it against them as making real peking duck takes time and it should because a whole duck costs $55.00. I didn't get it as much as I wanted to due to the price being higher than other areas that serve the same item. The worst part though is the parking especially during heavy rainstorms. It is extremely dangerous as everyone tries to play bumper cars with each other while trying to leave. There is very limited parking and that is the most horrible part of it. Overall, my experience is a C+, it was nice to reconnect to a bit of my culture again after living in America for so long, but it still has some issues holding some of its food items from being the best it could be.

Yelp
I love the concept, and most of the vendors. So, it really pains me to leave a "mediocre" review. And why is that? This place is NOT big enough. But if it was just size alone against popularity, sure, we could bump this up to a 4. But the real problem? Lack of a strong enough AC. East End Market is a perfect example of what a combination food hall / boutique mall should look and operate like (minus the lack of parking - oh right, did I mention that issue here too)? When this place is packed (potential fire hazard btw), it is SEARING hot. It has made me reject wanting to ever go here. Let alone brave the parking. Let alone be packed like a can of sardines next to a stranger. Let alone just leave the comfort of my house at this point NGL. Yet instead of focusing more on infrastructure (I remember how it used to look when it was just Banh Mi Boy and the Vietnamese super market), the owners are dressing it up slightly and just packing the place with vendors. They should have enough money at this point to really renovate and expand if they want to make this place truly amazing, and give the place justice as much as the food is here. It's beyond me how they think they're going to have an indoor event here - there just isn't enough room unless they remove the jewelry store and expand to the other side of the supermarket that currently looks defunct and is the bathroom for Zaru. Fix it up boys - you're successful enough to not pinch pennies and to finish your overhaul of the property.

Yelp
Great business. Small but with many relevant stands. We loved the bun and sandwich stores. Incredible customer service. Cool vibes. We'd love to go back.

Yelp
Loved this concept! Looking for the rest of the stalls to open. This is very reminiscent of my time in Hong Kong... lots of options for meat eaters and vegetarians . The service at UniGirl was so friendly and helpful. Not only is it several food stalls, there's also snack items you can buy around the market. Seating is limited so you may want to avoid the lunch rush... parking at that time can be just as strenuous. Can't wait to visit again

Yelp
If you're a local, heed my warning, the answer is NO. This is the smallest little "market" I've ever been to - overcrowded and hot. It's completely disgusting as well. There's litter EVERYWHERE and terrible potholes in the parking lot causing flooding. The parking lot is also awful - completely packed with people street parking and blocking you in. We got a strawberry sando, a mango rice pudding, some pink pineapple, and some java apples. The java apples literally had hair on them, like... human hair. From the packager. The strawberry sandwich bread was HARD. Completely stale. The filling was alright. I didn't get to try the mango rice pudding because I'm allergic to mango, but my sister said it was just alright, pretty basic. Not worth $8 for a little cup. The pink pineapple was standard. We also tried Unigirl, and I left a review on their personal Yelp but to sum it up, it was awful. Don't waste your time. Multiple people have said this was MID and it IS. Only a good time for asia-boos.

Yelp
I parked a few blocks down due to previous reviews regarding hectic parking lot - which was accurate! Market was extremely packed with seats being taken instantly. I ordered a huge curry tofu bahn mi and it was well worth the price. Bakery items in the market were not the best quality. Bathrooms are gender neutral. Would return for the Bahn Mi.

Yelp
This place is super super cute! I ordered a coffee with ube and it was outstanding. I would 100% order the same exact thing again. For food I ordered honey bbq chicken and rice which was very delicious. I liked how many options they have and how customizable the food was. Next time I would be interested in trying a dessert. They have a lot of cute and beautiful options. The service was very good and very fast. Will be back soon!!!!

Yelp
Gosh we love this spot! There's always something new to try! The Vietnamese coffee flan reminds me of being back in Ho Chi Min city, the bbq bao buns remind me of night markets in Hong Kong and the onigiri is some of the best I've had stateside! Not to mention you can grab fresh pomelo like in Thailand and rambutan by the cup in the grab and go. Each of the counters in here offers something unique and delicious. We never get tired of this one. Not to mention you can try the viral strawberry sandwich and cool down with Thai tea! Seating can be hard to come by but there's typically standing tables in the back corner and long tables to share with other diners.

Yelp
We stopped by this asian food hall for lunch. They have a parking lot behind the building and they are busy! They currently have 5 food stalls, must popular is the Kai Kai that sells the roast duck, dim sum, and Chinese food. My daughter was craving dim sum and ordered a couple dishes. I ordered the pork belly bun mi sandwich next door and purchase the ban cuon at the deli side. Once we found a place to sit down, we waited for them to call my order number. Not too many seating options, alot of people orders food will take them togo. Definitely a place to check out if you're on Colonial Drive.

Yelp
We stopped by to try one of the eateries within Mills Market, Unigirl. There are a few other stalls we'd love to come back to try. After finishing our meal at unigirl, we browsed the Mills Market pastries and got a taro cream bun, strawberry sando and pineapple bun. Omg every item was delicious. My kids have introduced me to various Japanese foods and snacks so this was an opportunity to try one I hadn't had, strawberry sando. It was very tasty. The fruit was firm but juicy and the whipped cream was thick enough to not squirt out with every bite. The bread paired well to my surprise . Next the taro cream bread. Wow so good not overly sweet and light and fluffy. You almost don't realize you're eating so much it's so light. I do wish some filling was piped into the bread rather than only down the middle but it was delicious nonetheless and I devoured it. The pineapple bun was my hands down favorite. I generally love pineapple items. It's my favorite fruit so I'm so happy this didn't disappoint. The pineapple was a filling between the slits in the bread. Just the right amount of sweetness, fluffy soft bread base. It was perfect in every way! There were so many other items sweet and savory I wanted to try so next time I'm in Orlando I'm going back!! The only slight issue was check out. There was no one at check out and the manager was trying g to find out why the AC was out in the facility. Definitely go here and try the pastries.

Yelp
The venue itself is a little cramped but the food makes up for it every time. I've had a good chunk of the items sold here, haven't been disappointed once. Be advised this review is for the cooked food, not the prepackaged items, those are ok. Customer service is prompt and attentive. UPDATE I returned and tried Unigirl, unfortunately it's my least favorite place here. The customer service like all the other stalls is great, no complaints there. But as others have mentioned the items are extremely mediocre and overpriced. A fried chicken Uni is about $5 which is half the price of a Bahn Mi. It's about 3 inches in diameter, mostly rice, I'm not sure why it's priced so high. Throughout the world this item costs cents, yet it's on par with the price of a Popeyes chicken sandwich in terms of cost. I got it anyways because I just wanted to try it, but was very dissatisfied and disappointed with the value. This drops the review to four stars. All the other stalls remain unchanged. Kai BBQ is good, only minor complaint I had was that Hainan garlic rice costs +$3 as a replacement for white rice. I would understand $1.50 at most.

Yelp
Something you gotta try! Do not have to order Peking Duck 24hrs in advance. They have it! Try the Cowboy Curry if they have not run out Hint. Go early

Yelp
An amazing find in Orlando. I wish we have had more time to explore. Lots of variety of Asian restaurants including Vietnamese, Korean, and Japanese. It's not Southern California selection, but the best you'll get in Florida.

Yelp
Great casual food hall for Asian food. We got Uni Girl and Banh mi boy. The French dip banh mi sandwich with a side of pho broth was sooo good. Will have to come back to try the bbq place cause people were lined up for that one.

Yelp
Howwww I just found out about this place after 9 years in Orlando?!?!? Absolutely amazing ! Lots of options, fair prices and everyone was super nice, helpful and attentive! Food - Kai Kai I had singapore rice noodle that its a very thin noodle with shrimp, pork and chicken *Ask for their sauces and spices Soooo tasty! Loved it Then I had the Vietnamese ube coffee ! Strong coffee with a real ube taste. The foam is a bit greasy but its okay. They have snow ice and it looks delicious too! There are so many options and asian stuff! They have exotic fruits and endless UBE options! Seating is limited and lines tend to be long, but its worth! Parking is a little chaotic so I recommend to park a bit away and just walk. I'm truly in love with this place and will be back for sure!

Yelp
Great addition to colonial drive. Place has variety of food options to choose from. They have Chinese, Vietnamese, Japanese and dessert. The place is busy. It would be nice if if they have more tables and chairs so people can enjoy their food. Nevertheless, it is a good place to get food to go if you are looking for variety of choices.

Yelp
Super market repurposed into a food hall. Great add to Mills and Colonial and home to several eateries: Kai Kai BBQ and Dim Sum, Bahn Mi Boys, UniGirl, and Saigon Snow. Also has a small jewelry store that sells 18k and 24K. Gets packed so expect a wait, also most tables have room for standing only with just a few bar stools available. There are a few low tables and high tops w bar stools as well. Parking in the rear and on the street.
