Sophisticated Greek wine bar with Mediterranean tapas & raw bar

"A wine-focused outpost opened in Hudson Yards as part of the brand's recent Manhattan expansion, reflecting the next generation's emphasis on wine programs and Greek producers." - Andrea Strong
"Like its other location in Midtown, this Greek spot is very fancy, with most tables occupied by groups in tailored suits eating lobster or jumbo prawns that cost over $100 per pound (fresh fish is flown in daily from around the world). It’s expensive, but if you’re in your high-roller era or just entertaining clients on the company’s dime, you’ll eat some good food here, like perfectly cooked octopus with a rich fava bean puree. The dining room with big round tables and floor-to-ceiling windows works for groups, and there’s also the walk-in-only Milos Wine Bar." - Neha Talreja, Kenny Yang, Carina Finn Koeppicus
"Milos Wine Bar is a casual bar located under the staircase to Estiatorio Milos, a much fancier Greek seafood restaurant where people blow their year-end bonuses on giant lobsters. Milos is less buttoned-up, and you can stop by in whatever you’re wearing for a glass of Viognier. There’s a friendly somm on hand to recommend a glass from the Greek wine list, and you can order from a bar menu of small plates like grilled octopus and lamb chops, or from the full Estiatorio menu. The bright white space has both bar seats and standing tables where you can sip away while imagining backstories for the people walking up the marble staircase to the main restaurant, dressed like they’re going to a gala on a regular weeknight." - Neha Talreja
"Posh seafood emporium Milos in Hudson Yards received funding." - Ryan Sutton
"The downstairs wine-bar experience offers a markedly different, more compelling service choreography than the pricey seafood dining room above: rather than an overt display of luxury, the lower-level setting feels like a tighter, more engaging 'ballet' of hospitality." - Amanda Kludt
