The ‘Summer House’ Cast's Guide To The Hamptons

"I've spent a lot of time at Moby's. I love the outdoor space. It kind of gives you that feeling of Dockers. It's not on the water, but you can take kids there, you can take family there, but also you can get drunk there. To me, that vibe is always good."—DO" - brennan carley

The 29 Best Restaurants In The Hamptons 2024

"Some may recognize this seasonal indoor-outdoor restaurant as the former spot of Eleven Madison Park’s summer pop-up. But things have majorly shifted and now there’s cornhole, fire pits, dogs and kids playing across the lawn every night, and plenty of chill group hangs. Salads, wood-fired pizzas, and fun pasta dishes are all worth visiting for, or you can just pop in for Happy Hour and bar snacks. " - melissa kravitz hoeffner, team infatuation

Where To Eat In The Hamptons With A Big Group

"The massive dining room and adjacent spacious backyard make Moby’s the place to meet up during the summer. They serve salads, pizzas, and pastas, plus cute fruit-forward cocktails like their summer martini with Grey Goose, strawberries, mango, and lemongrass.  Parties of eight or more can pre-book a pre-fixe family-style menu, which starts at $80 per person ($40 for kids) and includes antipasti, pizzas, and mains like tagliatelle alla norma. Fire pits and bocce courts can also keep the night going, or help you escape an awkward conversation with that lonely stranger who keeps claiming they’re Gwneyth Paltrow’s house manager." - melissa kravitz hoeffner, team infatuation

The venue, previously run by East Hampton Point hotel owners since 1993, will now be operated independently by Lincoln Pilcher and Nick Hatsatouris. I recently dined at Moby’s for the first time and was really disappointed. First off, the service was very slow, taking our waitress over 15 minutes to even come over to our table, and was slow for the remainder of the night. And I don’t recommend eating in the outdoor areas. One is an ugly poorly lit covered patio and the other true outdoor area has a hideous wedding and catering tent up for most of summer. On the food, the only dishes I actually liked was the rigatoni and kale Caesar (which I’d recommend). Every other dish was either undercooked (broccolini for $25), lacked flavor (chicken and steak $40 each) or just bad (pizza for $30 - it tasted like a microwave pizza and the dough was actually bad). In short, if you had a group of 6-8 friends and wanted a high energy vibe with decent food, I’d recommend.

Ugh- so disappointing! We had a reservation on a semi-busy Monday. They were out HALF the menu ... ok. Five different servers approached our table. One took our drink order and dissapeared... Finally one waitress came over and got our order. No one cleaned or table for AN HOUR. Food wasn't served till 40 minutes after we were seated. Entree's were served BEFORE appetizers. Service was so slow and truly a mess. The food was good- but NOT WORTH IT

Great small plates to share! Kale Cesar was incredible. Share a pizza. Bread was ok. Shrimp pasta was the winning dish. Make sure to sit outside or at least check it out!

Google
This place is absolutely amazing. Our group was being slightly difficult and couldn't decide whether we wanted to sit inside or outside and changed our mind multiple times but the staff was extremely accommodating. They still sat us even though we were one person over our requested reservation amount and cared to us attentively. $300. The ambience is amazing, everything we ate was absolutely amazing. You cannot have a bad time here, but the staff really made the experience. They comped us a dessert (in photo) Thanks again to the floor manager Em.

Amazing food. Amazing service. Amazing location. Amazing staff.

Google
I was severely disappointed by experience here. Although there was one server working who was exceptional and seemed to be taking on her coworkers tasks, our server was horrible. I felt so disrespected, he had us wait over an hour to get our check. No food on the table, nothing. The last time he spoke with us was to ask if we wanted dessert and then completely ignored us. We asked the one good server if she could get his attention, and after she spoke to him, it still took another 15 minutes. I mean, I dont understand how you can treat patrons so badly, when they are spending money at your establishment that is costing $30 for a small pizza. The pizza did taste good though, we had the cacio y Pepe. The spaghetti was okay. Tasted of butter and herb but lacked depth.

Google
Had a reservation at Mobys in the Hamptons and still ended up waiting over an hour to be seated. The staff was completely unprofessional—no communication, no apologies, just attitude. What’s the point of making a reservation if they’re going to treat you like you’re invisible? Easily one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in the Hamptons. Poorly managed, disorganized, and clearly don’t care about customer service. Save your time (and money) and go literally anywhere else.

WOW what an amazing evening and experience! I was invited out to dine at Mobys by the manger John and I am so happy I found the time to go! Everyone was amazing from management, staff, the kitchen, everyone. It was an amazing atmosphere. The margaritas were soooo delicious! I would highly recommend for everyone to give this place a try!

Yelp
Great ambiance! Everyone from the hostess, to our waiter, to our food runner was kind and helpful. Its like an outdoor summer picnic vibe with cute string lights and picnic tables. We had to order margarita pitchers for the table that were fabulous, and one girl had an espresso martini! We had a side of brocollini with ricotta salata and garlic, delicious and perfectly cooked! We also had their whipped ricotta that was served with house focaccia. For mains we had the funghi pizza and the soppressata. The hot honey was such a nice add to the soppresata pizza, but both pies were fabulous. We also shared the ravioli nerano which had caramelized onion and black truffle. The food was definitely good, nothing that blew me away, but still such a great evening!

Yelp
A fun and casual spot suggested by the gals during the first night of our visit. The place is massive and quite lively attracting large parties who are looking for a good time. We ordered lots of food to share. Shisito peppers, beet salad, Caesar salad, and a couple of pizzas were ample options. Being a huge beet fan, I thought the beet salad was top notch. Sweet red and golden beets with creamy cheese. How can that be bad. The evening we were there we had an unexplained blackout that lasted around 30-45 minutes. Fortunately is was toward the end of our meal and it came back on just in time for us to settle our check. How convenient ;)

Yelp
Good food but poor timing. We had to wait 30 minutes for the food to come. When the food came, they brought the mains and the appetizers AT THE SAME TIME. They tried explaining that they have no control of the timing of when the food comes. That is a very poor excuse. The re-fire of the pasta dishes only took 5 minutes. It took 30 minutes for the pizza. I would say it doesn't take much to figure out how to fire the pizza first before the pasta. The ambiance is very casual. Overall I would rate this place average. The food was pretty good but the long wait and organization of how pizza ordered as an APPETIZERS should come BEFORE the MAIN DISH and NOT AT THE SAME TIME... Pizza rating A Pasta rating B+ Kitchen timing F Organization rating C (needs improvement)

Yelp
Great venue with so much outdoor space, to include a fire pit where kids were making s'mores! Great spot for families, but also as couple without kids we enjoyed the environment! Pizza was good, drinks were good! We would come back!

Yelp
Food: Meh Service: ok Ambiance: ok Terribly expensive, food was ok, nothing spectacular, pizza was good, not great ! Bottle of Peroni : 10.00 Pizza : 26.00 for 12" pie Never again !

Yelp
Stopped in for lunch. Beautiful ambiance with large outdoor space. Started with the little gem salad. The dressing was a bit too sweet for me but it was good. I ate the salad. Then had the salami pizza and shrimp pasta. The shrimp pasta was the star here, very very good. My kids ate most of it! Toddler and baby approved! The pizza is not good with the hot honey. I do not like a sugary pizza. Had another one made without the honey and it was perfect!

Yelp
Overall enjoyed my experience at Mobys, there's definitely seems like a super busy spot that you need a reservation for, and I am very glad that my friend made a reservation in advance. The restaurant itself is rather large with a big outside area that includes a fire pit, which is very cool. The menu is pretty expensive and it does have something for everyone, my only comment is that some of the food items are portioned a little bit smaller than I would expect, while others are definitely appropriate, and the prices are definitely slightly inflated Hamptons prices. The stand out items for me where the kale Caesar and the golden beets. We also got two pasta dishes, which were slightly forgettable. Overall, I would say this is a great spot to bring any size group for any sort of occasion, just make sure you get a reservation in advance!

Yelp
This place will tempt a good person to dine and dash. They were deceitful, foul-mouthed, and held us hostage for 3.5 hrs due to slow service. We mistakenly made a reservation for the wrong date, but they told us not to worry & that we would be seated in '10 minutes'. Only after we threated to leave after 1.25 hours of repeatedly being told '10 mins', we were sat. The food did not come until ~2 hours after ordering. During this wait, we were constantly told, 'the food will be out in 10 minutes,' whenever we asked for the check to leave. They have no problem lying to you. When the food finally arrived, we immediately asked for the check for the 5th time. Instead of providing it, they sent 'free ice cream,' further delaying our departure. We were effectively held hostage and not allowed to pay and leave at the 3.5+ hour mark. When I politely asked for a discount due to the delays that made us miss other plans, the manager, Em, made fun of me, mocking our reservation error by saying, "Did you make plans for tonight or next month?" This comment was uncalled for and deeply embarrassing for the establishment. This experience is not unique. Multiple reviews cite similar complaints about deceptive wait times and feeling trapped. This practice is inexcusable. The restaurant needs to be honest with customers about wait times, promptly provide the check when requested, and stop using tactics that hold customers against their will.

Yelp
Came here with some friends - everything was delicious. We had a group of 12 and sat at two different tables. We had the margarita pizza and the sopressata pizza - both were great. The octopus, the garbanzo beans and the whipped ricotta was great. Despite the photo here everything was great

Yelp
I come here all the time and love it. The food is fabulous here. Big portions and everything is delicious. Their kale Caesar is one of the best I've ever had. They also make a great martini. Atmosphere is solid, definitely a good vibe with music/ bar scene. Always good service.

Yelp
We were staying in Montauk but decided to venture to East Hampton for dinner. I think Moby's is a great spot if you're looking for pretty good food and a dinner place for larger parties with great ambiance. The atmosphere is classic hamptons-esque with beachy, white decor and a nice outdoor space with nice lighting. Although the food wasn't mind blowing, it was pretty high quality especially the rigatoni bolognese and the spaghetti. The octopus was a bit too chewy and not as well done as I liked. Overall, my friends and I like Mobys and would defintiely come back sometime in the future.

Yelp
I haven't felt inclined to write a review in years but my friends and I had such an awful experience here that I felt like I need to warn people. My friends and I came here for a friend's birthday dinner. At first everything was going smoothly, we had multiple servers come up asking us if we'd been helped yet (we had). As soon as we were able to place our drink and food orders, things started dramatically going downhill. They brought us someone else's oysters and salad (we did not order those). We kindly told them we'd ordered the ricotta and a kale salad to start, they apologized and it took over an hour to get our corrected items. We had ordered drinks, the ricotta, kale salad, beets, pizza and 3 different pastas. We got the drinks and the ricotta first (note - the bread tasted extremely stale and they took the ricotta away before we could finish it). About 40 minutes later we got the pizza. We thought the pastas and salad would follow shortly after but we sat for another hour before the pastas finally came out. We had made a comment in our reservation that we were celebrating a birthday, when the server finally came back another half an hour later I mentioned that we were celebrating a birthday and would like to get a treat for my friend. The server rudely told me that most people tend to mention birthdays discretely to not ruin the surprise but that she would bring us a dessert menu anyways. We waited over another hour, the server passed our table multiple times without any sort of acknowledgement. We never got brought the dessert menu. During this hour, we heard 2 of the hostesses talking behind us and stating that they were looking up guests from reservations and social media tags on Instagram and giving more priority service to those with a higher number of followers. They were talking about how they were joking around with those guests and they hoped it would result in better tips. A table with the same number of people as us that showed up well after we did ended up getting their checks first. Eventually we got tired of waiting and stopped a completely different server to ask if we could just please check out and pay since we were tired from traveling all day. He was extremely apologetic and told us that when it gets busy, the service tends to go downhill. We told him we knew he was doing his best but that we were disappointed with our original server since we were just trying to do something nice for our friend's birthday. We had planned on ordering her a dessert and some espresso martinis but our original server ignored us for so long that we didn't even want to order any more food. After we paid and started walking out, our original server saw us but once again didn't acknowledge us at all or say anything. The food was decent, the drinks were good but the service was absolutely terrible. All guests should be treated with the same level of respect and attentiveness and it shouldn't be based on the number of followers someone has on social media. I'm not sure if they are not used to having full tables but unfortunately we weren't able to give our friend the birthday dinner we'd envisioned.

Yelp
The food is OK. The portions are small and prices are high. Basically you're going here for the who's who. The service is complete trash - took forever for our server to initially come, service was extremely slow, servers are completely disorganized. They forgot one of my friends entree, they charged us our table for 4 peronis when we ordered a total of 2 then the server tried to negotiate and say they'll just charge us for 3.

Jeff N.

Yelp
Good service . Nice lay out, cool building.lots of cool spaces including outside. Good drinks!! Happy place Down side: No local fish ( cod, black seabass, fluke, munk fish on menu) except striped bass, that my pour brother and law unfortunately ordered; smallest piece you can imagine, maybe 4 ounces. The presentation was nice but geez.... striped bass are running and plentiful..why not a robust fillie?? . ..I guess they can pull this off with the alcoholic hedge funders on weekends who aren't concerned with portions or eating.

Yelp
This was excellent -- one of the better meals we've had in the Hamptons. First visit, we started with the whipped ricotta and kale caesar, then got the margherita pizza, rigatoni bolognese, and orecchiette with tomato sauce for our toddler. Both apps were great and we'd probably get both again -- the ricotta especially is a must. The pizza was also excellent, and I'd love to come and try more pizzas next time. We weren't fans of the rigatoni -- we actually preferred the simpler orecchiette, and would definitely sub out for a different pasta next time. Definitely would like to come back here.

Yelp
Wow-- more tasteful, updated design around every corner, over and over, including the walk around the back yard through the fun statue garden, discovering the soccer goals. Moby's has a culture of panache without trying too hard. Emily cheerfully, knowledgeably served us dinner, with fun answers to our questions about the area, details about all the dishes, and a wide, welcoming smile at every interaction. They were out of light rum, so I requested "a not-too-sweet tiki drink" and was rewarded with a grapefruity concoction with a cinnamon floater. I stan a confident bartender who knows her/his way around. I know it's tough to get great servers these days, so Bravo to Moby's (and to Emily and the bartender) for making our experience a night to remember, even among other nights to remember. (The food was great; the pizza was the stand-out.)

Yelp
Had dinner the other night at Mobys, Wednesday night, and had a reservation for 8pm, party of 7, and this place really ends up being average after what I was told about it leading up to it. First off, the parking lot was packed tight, no space to leave your car, no valet or people to direct you where to go, so after a circle a few of us got out of the car and went to the hostess, the first one anyway, to check in. She directs us down the cobblestone path, very dark, would recommend putting some lights there, to another hostess stand with 4 people waiting there, a crazy lineup, but we asked to be seated saying our party was parking, which they were, they ended up making their own spots. We got a picnic table outside, which I wasn't thrilled about, even though it was a nice night it was super buggy, which was a theme for the evening, but others wanted to sit outside, so I obliged. The waiter was very nice, and very patient with our group. We were probably his most annoying table of the night, but we did what we could to make it easier for him and we got the same meal, the Pesto Pasta dish, which was just average in the end. The drinks were alright, nothing special, the selection on the menu really wasn't that great, that should definitely be expanded. However! I truly recommend the "Naked and Famous" that was delicious, and not on the menu, I just asked for Bartenders Choice, he flipped that, and it was special. We had some pizza, a Funghi (Mushroom) pie which was oily but okay, and the Soppressata pie, very good much better. Also, since the drinks weren't that elaborate, I asked for the Cucumber Cooler with Tequila in it, to spice it up, it was alright, very light and summery, good choice. The whole night the lights were flickering on and off as well, like the power was about to fail, that became kind of annoying. The music was chill, and the vibe was Hamptons to the max of course. Cuba Gooding Jr was in the house, and a few other fancy faces and rich folk. Otherwise, at the end of the day, 3 stars, average spot, lots of other choices. Decent prices on everything though.

Yelp
Came here with friends while visiting the Hamptons for the first time. We really didn't know what to expect food wise but I was pleasantly surprised my Moby's. The staff was all really friendly and helpful. They have really cute souvenirs too. For the food, we got the kale caesar to share and it was really good. The kale was well massaged so soft and flavorful. The whipped ricotta app was good too but nothing exceptional. The pizzas were all so good. The crust was nice and crunchy but still soft enough. I also shared a bolognese with a friend and was surprised that I really liked it! The pasta was so well cooked, perfect Al dente. The sauce was surprisingly flavorful too. I'm usually picky when it comes to bolognese but this was really good. The prices are pretty high but that seems to be on par with everywhere in the Hamptons so I wouldn't knock them for that. Honestly, of all the places we went, id go back to Mobys!

Yelp
We initially wanted to check out Bostwick's right next door, only to find that it was closed and our Uber driver screeched away as soon as we got out. D'oh! Always double-check the hours; we were too excited by the prospect of a lobster roll and chowder. Good thing Moby's was nearby though we were too late to nab one of the cute outdoor dining tables and people-watch. The covered patio was inside, though I will say they seated us at maybe a not-so-great spot from a COVID perspective. We were in a two-seater that was smack in the middle of the busy foot traffic between the kitchen/bar area and the path to the outdoor tables. Of course, all the waitstaff were wearing masks but for a moment, I felt a little naked and vulnerable eating dinner. In any event, all the food and drinks we ordered were fantastic. The pizza was thin crust and came out in a larger size than I expected; I'd want to try the other pizzas on the menu but of course had to go for the margherita. And the pasta! Perfectly cooked, mid-way between al dente and too crunchy. Better than some of the NYC Italian red-sauce pasta places. Not too salty too. We also ordered the Amagansett green salad just to be healthy. It was delicious and went well with the pizza and pasta.

Kym A.

Yelp
Absolutely horrendous. This place has gone downhill exponentially. The octopus was rubbery and awful. The replacement pasta was missing key ingredients. The mushrooms had zero Hen of the Woods. The broccolini was burnt . All of this for nearly $1000. We are done. You should be too!

Kari R.

Yelp
vibe was overall cool. good place if you have kids but so many running around everywhere so if that isn't your thing then you won't be super pleased. food was sub par to say the least and massively overpriced for what it was. dry , bland pizza. additionally, we made the reservation and were there on time. ordered apps and drinks and after a half hour we were told that we only had an hour left. mind you, the waiter hadn't even taken our dinner order yet lol. they should have at least warned us when they initially sat us so we knew to order everything all at once if we were on such a time crunch... overall, skip out on this place and go somewhere else.

Joyce E.

Yelp
I'll start by saying we loved going to Moby's multiple times last summer. Great food, great vibe, so much fun for the kids, and outstanding service. Our first visit of summer '24, tonight, started out to be disappointing, but the glitch with our res was quickly resolved with compliments to the Manager, Em. She couldn't have been more accommodating and professional. Every server was outstanding, setting us up quickly and changing our table just as seamlessly. They were all warm, friendly and professional. As for the meal, the kale salad, shishito peppers and pizza were delicious, and the pasta dishes were all great, too. It turned out to be a lovely evening. Our entire group sends a huge thank you to the Manager, Em, for working with us, and accommodating us tonight. She truly took the time to make it right and we appreciate it. She was professional and warm and we all say thank you.

Yelp
We went to Moby's for dinner this summer. The outdoor seating was great. There was a lot of space for children to play and were heat lamps when it got cold. The seating was also very comfortable. There were a lot of pillows and the seating was relatively spaced out. We ordered fried artichokes, margherita pizzas, zucca pizza, cacio e pepe, and a side of broccolini. The fried artichokes were a little dry but had a sauce that complimented them well. Between the two pizzas, I preferred the margherita over the zucca pizza. The zucca pizza was decent but could have had more flavor. We enjoyed the cacio e pepe because the pasta was perfectly al dente but felt like the sauce left a weird aftertaste. The broccolini was great, and I would recommend ordering it as a side. The service was pretty good, and the price was decent (maybe a little overpriced). Moby's is a place I would recommend if you are looking for a restaurant with a nice ambiance and pretty good food.

Yelp
We had pizzas and pasta and it was all delicious - but nothing spectacular. Middle of the road Italian - Bolognese could have had more meat, pizza was decent but not over the top, and appetizers (calamari, octopus, whipped ricotta, and shishito peppers) where also mediocre. Worth coming to but don't hype it up too much.

Yeon S.

Yelp
This place was a pleasant surprise! I was a bit unsure when I first checked the Yelp rating before visiting but their food is better than what you see here. Their mushroom pizza was absolutely delicious probably best dish from the table I had with my friends that day. I also thought the Rigatoni was pretty good. My husband wasn't too impressed with his chicken dish that he got but the pizza and pastas were all very satisfying from the friends we were with. We were seated outdoor and it was a nice space. Loved their decor in general. The only comment I would leave for better experience would be the bug control for outdoor seating. It was a bit tough to enjoy the entire experience when there were so many bugs constantly attacking us and our food.

Yelp
Love this place. The aesthetic and service is always spot on, not to mention that there food is absolutely delicious. Absolutely love the whipped ricotta and the kale salad. Recently had the fish which was a special and also delicious. 100% recommend

Yelp
Stopped by as part of a large group during Memorial Day weekend for a prix fixe $65 meal. The setup was a large outdoor tent with several tables. The food was good, with a few standout dishes, however the service brought it down a star. Note that this was one of the first days of the season, so potentially the staff will get better as they gain more experience. Food wise, everything was good or acceptable. Standouts were the appetizer whipped ricotta and charred mushrooms, while the mains were fine but lacked the depth I was hoping for. Service wise, it took ~45 min for our (admittedly very large) group to get our order taken. When it was the process for "choosing the dishes" described by the waiters did not match what actually happened - the prixe fixe part was very confusing and a chaotic ordering experience. However, food was very quick to come out after, and did all the waiting staff seemed genuinely friendly. Whipped ricotta - 5/5. All the ingredients here played together very well, and was truly enjoyable Charred mushrooms - 5/5 Crispy skin chicken - 3.5/5. Not the worst, but was slightly dry. However I quite enjoyed the potatoes Bolognese and ramp pesto - 4/5. Solid, nothing amazing but nothing poor either

Yelp
I went here with my family for dinner and was really impressed by everything from start to finish. We were initially a little bummed that we couldn't get a decent reservation time (we had to eat dinner at 4pm! more like a late lunch), but I am so glad that we decided to come here anyway. After you park in their lot, you're greeted by an employee who escorts you around the back to their outdoor dining area. We were seated promptly and given a choice of having a table in the sun or shade. Their backyard is really large and the decor is a really modern, beachy vibe. They had corn hole and ping pong set out, but I'm not sure that they are letting people use them during COVID. For drinks, I had their frozen margarita and wasn't in love with it, but someone else in my party had the spicy margarita and really enjoyed it. We shared a bunch of appetizers including the warm chickpeas, broccolini, tuna crudo (amazing!!!), and mushroom pizza (really outstanding!). All of the apps except for the pizza were pretty small, but it ended up being enough to share between 5 people. For my main, I tried the cacio e pepe (solid dish, but I could have used a tad more cheese) and the lasagna (tasty and filling) which is vegetarian. As for desserts, they were only offering homemade ice cream or a sweet calzone type dish, and I tried the vanilla dulce de leche ice cream - it was really good and not overly sweet. Our waitress was extremely friendly and helpful. As far as COVID precautions go, all of the tables were sufficiently distanced and all of the staff were wearing masks. I cannot wait to go back and hopefully go at a time that is more suitable for dinner! They had really cool string lights hung up, but unfortunately I did not get to see them in action given our early reservation time.

Yelp
Walking into this place I was not expecting the amazing service and food that I experienced honestly! The spicy margarita is essential to your life as it is the best spicy marg you'll ever have in the Hamptons. Aaron and Renee went above and. Beyond which was highly noticeable. We spilled a drink all over my lap and Aaron and Renee were so quick to give me napkins and a new drink before I could even process what happened, 10/10 service! Julia our server was also great in recommending dishes and noticing our lack of silver ware. The halibut, steak, and Caico e Pepe were honorable mentions. The crudo, tuna and fluke were beyond fresh- when I tell you I don't eat sashimi - I really don't because it always taste like the ocean except this did not. It was SO FRESH.

Yelp
After months of closures in NYC and quarantining, some friends and I were in East Hampton and decided to come to Moby's for an early dinner. The restaurant is outdoor seating only and per requirements, tables outside are spaced apart and all employees wear masks and gloves. The service was very good, and the food and drinks were brought to the table quickly. For 5 of us, with 6 drinks and 5 dishes, it was $71 per person including tax and tip, which was not that bad, and I would've happily paid more after so long of not having eaten in a restaurant. The Kale Caesar salad, Riggatoni cacio Pepe and the margarita pizza were all outstanding. The menu was pretty diverse and reasonably priced - I think the most expensive thing was in the high $30s. I'm glad restaurants are slowly opening back up in a safe way!

Yelp
Made a res via Resy for two & arrived a few minutes late, which was no problem. Our table wasn't ready yet so the hostess walked us to the outdoor bar stand and we got to admire their adorable outdoor set up. The vibes were awesome and the tables were a nice distance from each other. Food was fantastic, we ordered the ricotta, burrata, pizza, lasagna and cacio e pepe, and everything was delicious!! Would def recommend and hope to be back.

Yelp
Moby's is the perfect restaurant pre & post covid. The have expansive outdoor space dotted with 30+ white picnic tables, all spread out at least 6ft apart. String lights lit up the evening sky and give the space a warm, charming feel. All staff members starting from the parking lot, hostess to our server / bussers were so kind, polite and all were wearing masks. For our group of 5, we ordered- Vegetables: Sunburst peppers Mushrooms Broccolini Mains: Fusilli cacio e pepe Mezze rigatoni bolognese - LOVEEEE! The pasta was a teeny bit overcooked but the sauce was on point Spaghettini Shrimp Linguine Alle Vongole Atlantic Halibut - the fish was okay but the greens were phenomenal Pizza: Salsiccia with pork sausage, tomato, mozzarella Portion sizes were just right, pizza came out piping hot and flavorful, the bolognese was my favorite! The ambiance was perfect for a summer night and the service was on point. I was extremely happy to enjoy a great meal at an establishment compliant with covid regulations.

Yelp
This place went from Cool to Kids in less than a season. And not just well behaved kids that know they are out at a restaurant, listen to their parents and behave. Kids that literally run around the entire place climbing trees and the sculptures and play tag and scream. It's fascinating how hard a parent can ignore their kid in a place like this. It has to be an Olympic sport at this level. The food is great. Pizza is amazing. And the staff is awesome. It's well worth going if you have a 7-year old and need an hour or two to just let them run and bug the sh*t out of someone else for once. If kids aren't your thing and you want to eat your $38 entree in peace - this ain't your place.

Yelp
Came for dinner with a few friends and ended up staying for hours. The staff was friendly and nice all the way from the parking lot to the table. We got the liter of Spicy Margarita and it was absolutely delicious. Every plate was beautiful and full of flavor, Chef Darragh really outdid himself. Will definitely be back again next time I'm in the area. Attached pics of the dishes we got: didn't snap any pics of the Tuscan Kale Caesar salad but it did not disappoint either.

Yelp
Food is delicious!! Ordered caccio e Pepe and margherita pizza and it was quality food made with fresh ingredients. One of the best caccio e pepe's I've had and better than a lot in NYC. We also got red wine on tap, and I was amazed at how smooth it was!! The service was also good. One of the most striking aspects of this place is the ambiance. There are many seats and large tables, perfect for date night, grabbing a bite with friends or coming here as a family. I saw many young families and young children, and it is nice to see a restaurant that accommodates children. This place has the vibes of fun summer days. Definitely coming here again!

Yelp
I would definitely go here again - excellent service (we sat at the bar) and a good vibe. Food mixed - funghi pizza was delicious l. The orecchiette was good but a bit on the salty side. Parking lot is stressful during summer evening times so Uber here if parking is not your thing. Or go later.

Yelp
Ridiculously overpriced. Drinks are over the top expensive. Kids loud and running around unattended on tick infested grass. Pizza is yummy but couldn't afford much else. I'm a working class local and I just can't afford to hang out or eat in places like this.

Yelp
Great Ambiance but don't know if the spaghetti I got was worth $33. Still tasty though and service was really good.

Yelp
I loved the location on the water in the bay from last year, but this location is just as beautiful. They did a great job with the outdoor decor and furniture. Huge lawn space and delicious food. Zero complaints. Definitely make reservations well in advance for dinner here. They are CLOSED on Tuesdays.

Yelp
Great-looking space with a positive vibe. Big shout-out to Ethan who took VERY good care of me and my family! The pizzas are the BEST in The Hamptons and the mushrooms and kale salad got rave reviews from everyone!

Yelp
The food was very good however when it came to dessert I was very disappointed. There was not much of a selection. Panacotta, sorbet, chocolate or vanilla ice cream. Also, they do not serve coffee????

Yelp
Came here for a rezzie on a wednesday night. Overall the service and food was wonderful. a few points for them to work on: -why is extra bread with the burrata 3 dollars? likely should be free, or just at least include bread with your app. -the pizzas slide of the metal stand all the time; so much so that the waiter said, "watch out- the pizzas fall off." this happened to me, which was fine given that I was nearly done but moral of the story: if your customer keep on losing their food, you should probably fix your pizza stand. cute little boutique outside lovely garden in good weather or they do tents in the rain if you get rained out. used to be the old EMP house but a great spot. will come back summer 2021! ~T

Yelp
Moby's is a must eat in the Hamptons! Great ambiance, delicious food and fun drinks! Their menu is seasonal and always made to perfection. Definitely recommend getting their soppresata pizza!

Yelp
If I could give this place zero stars, I would. We came here with my family for a birthday dinner and sat for over an hour without receiving our appetizers. They screwed up the drink order and they weren't even apologetic for not bringing out the appetizers --then they brought the wrong entrée out twice. We came with children who were well behaved sitting patiently- and even that did nothing to make the staff pay us any mind. Do not waste your time coming here. The plates are over priced, salty, and definitely not worth it. The service is the worst part by far. I have never been tempted to leave a place without paying- but this place brought me very close.

Yelp
Every time I'm in East Hamptons I NEED to order their amazing pizza or enjoy their outdoors dinning tables!
