Just discovered a most AUTHENTIC Sour Fish Strew in the heart of Manhattan, near Columbia University area. Can’t wait to share my new spot with you guys. If you are a fan of heat or spicy 🌶️ then Nai Brother will be your new favorite spot 🆕 What? No Spicy at all? Let’s try sliced fish with tomato sauce 🥫flavorful with rich texture.

The first time I came here, the taste was excellent and the service attitude was very good.

What caught our attention is Sauerkraut Fish (never heard of it so we wanted to try it) and it was also a new place. It’s a Szechuan style cuisine and we loved Szechuan. We ordered single bowl of Naige Chinese Sauerkraut Fish (ofc), Sliced fish with Korean Kimchi and Seafood Dancing plus some added-on items (ie. bean sprouts, tofu, tripe and beef omasum for additional fee). We didn’t know that the bowls were already filling so we technically could have gone without the added-ons. All the bowls we ordered were mild spice (note: even with mild spice, it felt like medium spice to me). Their soup base was delicious and honestly I would still order it mild (the spices and ingredients made it very tasty and flavorful).

This place has some of the best fish I’ve ever had! The broth is super flavorful — tangy, spicy, and just addictive. The fish is really fresh and melts in your mouth, and the pickled veggies give it that perfect sour kick. Portions are big, prices are fair, and the vibe is cozy but casual. Staff are nice and service is fast. It’s one of those meals you keep thinking about afterward. If you’re into bold flavors or want to try something different and seriously good, you’ve got to check this spot out. Totally worth it!

Nai Brother Fish is a fantastic spot for seafood lovers! The fish is always fresh, well-seasoned, and cooked to perfection. Whether grilled or fried, every dish is flavorful and satisfying.
