The 15 Best Restaurants In Savannah, Georgia

"Narobia's Grits & Gravy expanded their simply-styled dining room during the pandemic to make room for all the people stopping by for the restaurant’s breakfast, coastal, and Lowcountry dishes. The crab stew is one of the best options, made with a rich sauce and served on a bed of creamy grits, but you also can’t go wrong with fluffy biscuits and gravy, french toast dusted with plenty of powdered sugar, and flaky crab patties. Weekends get especially busy, so bring your patience and enjoy the laid-back experience on the upstairs balcony." - caroline eubanks

Before hitting the road I had to try this spot. I ordered a salmon, egg, and cheese biscuit to go on the app. When I arrived it was ready. I’ve never had a biscuit so good. I’ve actually never had a salmon biscuit. I enjoyed every single bite. I would def be back.

Google
Our group Rib Sisters ate their on 5/31/25 and it was delicious. I had the seafood omelet with grits. Sooooo Good!!

We were close in the area and decided to give this place a try. Glad that we did! Food was amazing! Got the crab stew on grits with homemade biscuits which was so deliciousssss. My niece got smothered shrimp and hers was great as well. Great waiter, cute environment. Chose to sit upstairs outside and it was sucha cute experience.

Google
Well worth the drive from Beaufort. The seafood omelette was absolutely loaded with shrimp and deviled crab. The biscuits were easily in the Top 3 of any I’ve ever had. The crab stew was pure bliss. We’ll definitely be back. Service was a little slow; but, they were busy on a Saturday morning.

Google
Hi everyone, my friend had told me to try this restaurant spot for my first time there and I was disappointed about everything. My meal presentation was good but the taste wasn’t. Honestly I’ve never seen burnt Biscuits and Hot Cakes in my life time until I came here and the smothered shrimp was ok but it could’ve been better and the girts were too damn soupy. And my waiter didn’t come back to check up on me. So like the Service to me was horrible.

Google
The best biscuit I’ve had in my life! Welcoming staff who helped accommodate our large group (11 people: 7 adults with 4 kids). They forgot to make one of the dishes, were apologetic, made the dish to go (since everyone else was already done eating) and refunded that dish. Highly recommend for anyone looking for incredible southern comfort breakfast food.

Google
Initially I was excited about coming to this establishment. Finally I had an opportunity to give them a try. I had my almost 90 year old mom with me. We were never acknowledged. That didn’t bother very much as they seemed to be busy. What bothered me was that a gentleman came in after us. He was greeted and acknowledged with kindness. His order taken immediately. Perhaps he was a regular. Needless to say, it seems that this restaurant does not need any more customers. They are doing quite well and I am happy for them. I left with my mom and proceeded to Kim’s Cafe. Staff and food excellent. Will not be back to Nairobi’s .

Google
We really wanted to experience a great southern breakfast, something that was reflective of Savannah. We researched and read reviews . We were excited to go to this establishment. Unfortunately, we were disappointed by the service , the friendliness, and the description of the food on the menu vs what was delivered to the table . The food was good , but everything else could use some real work .

Yelp
It is small and frugally furnished but, DAMN! The no fluff crab cake was awesome! I had it with cheese grits and scrambled eggs. Grits came topped in brown gravy. It was so good I rushed to eat and forgot to take a pic!

Yelp
I can't say enough about this authentic southern style restaurant. We had the sausage biscuits and gravy, sausage egg and cheese sandwich, hashbrowns, and cheesy grits. Everything was amazing. The gravy had sausage, onion, sweet peppers and mushrooms. I'm taking home half. Praying it keeps for tomorrow's breakfast. The biscuits were the best we ever had. They were soft, buttery and flavorful. Ordered two more to go. The unsweetened tea was so good. The waitstaff were friendly and attentive. The price was very reasonable. Sad that this restaurant isn't closer to home. But it's on our list as one of our favorites. You won't be disappointed.

Yelp
Narobia's is a small but mighty restaurant. They have a good menu with many different options. Whatever you do make sure you order their biscuits. They have the best biscuits I've ever had and highly recommend. I read other yelp reviews raving about the biscuits and they were all true. Once you're seated they bring you a QR code to look over the menu and then they take your order to the kitchen. It took a minute to get our order and to checkout but that's because the dining room was packed, so it wasn't a big deal. When we received our food we were happy with our portion sizes. They were pretty hefty and all of our food was well seasoned. The cornmeal breading on the Fried Whiting Fish was delicious and the Ultimate Biscuits and Gravy had so much flavor. Next time I'm visiting Savannah I'm definitely coming back to Narobia's, especially for those biscuits.

Yelp
If you want some good down home southern breakfast, this is it! Food was great, simple, clean ambiance, serving large portions!

Yelp
On our way out of Savannah, we wanted a hearty southern breakfast. Well we got exactly that. The hours online are not correct. I strongly advise you call before going. The menu was digital and did not specify what was included with each option. But it felt like a mom and pop. The food however was amazing!!!! My husband and I had fish and grits with biscuits. I am not a biscuit fanatic but BABY!!!!!!!! These biscuits were sensational!!!! I wish I would have gotten more to go.

Yelp
Ordered seafood omelet since I'm in Savannah. It was a true delight for seafood lovers. The omelet was generously filled with a variety of fresh seafood, perfectly cooked to tender perfection. The hash browns were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, serving as an excellent complement to the omelet. And let's not forget about the biscuit - it was warm, flaky, and simply irresistible. Every bite was bursting with flavor, making this breakfast an absolute treat. Narobia's has definitely set the bar high with this dish!
google avatar

Trena S.

Yelp
All the reviews said to make sure to get the biscuits and they are correct. These were some of the fluffiest and buttery biscuits I've ever had. We also had the French toast and they've perfected it. It had a slight sugary crisp to the outside and it was fluffy on the inside.

Yelp
Narobia's was mentioned on Chefs Table, so we had to go. Amazing food!!! Southern breakfast that we will drive to Savannah for!

Yelp
Had this place saved in my collections to try. Decided to go there this morning and OMG I am so glad I did. My breakfast was amazing! I ordered the three meat omelette with French toast and biscuit. I have had a lot of French toast but this one is bar far bar the best! There is so much flavor in the French toast. Usually you can't taste the cinnamon or anything but sugar in French toast. Not this one you taste the cinnamon and other spices they use to make it so good. And my omelette, the chicken was seasoned, the shrimps was seasoned the turkey bacon was good, all the veggies! And don't forget the nice fluffy butter milk biscuit. The place and small and cozy. The service by the two young people who are very polite and professional. This place is a must! I have so many other things on the menu I have to try. I looked and the other plates coming out for other patrons and they all looked very tasty. Yep Narobia's Gtits & Gravy is at the top of my list. Go see for yourself!

Yelp
Snuck into Savannah for a weekend recharge and fell into Narobia's before heading home...might have found a gem. I believe that it is family-owned and operated...the key word is patience. The food is prepared to order. Make absolutely certain that you get an order of biscuits...you might possibly get full just on the biscuits...buttery and heavenly in each bite. We tried the crab, oyster and salmon as well as the lamb. And I judge a place based on its grits and the chef did not disappoint...buttery and cheesy...and delicious. We sat on the balcony and enjoyed the beautiful weather and friendly natives. The service was great. Well worth the visit...so good we had to take a walk [make sure to visit the Savannah African Art Museum nearby] before making the return trip home. We will be back.

Yelp
This is a small but friendly local establishment. This was our first meal in Savannah. We were seated immediately and the waitress was friendly. The food wasn't fancy or it was tasty and very affordable. I came for the French toast that others have raved about. The biscuits were light and the sausage gravy was good.

Yelp
I've been wanting to try Narobia's for a couple of months and finally got the chance. It was pretty much packed when we arrived but in my opinion the food came out relatively quick considering the amount of people waiting. I ordered the Salmon Croquette breakfast that comes with eggs and either grits/hashbrown/home style potatoes and a couple other options. The Salmon Patty took me back to my grandmas table and it genuinely filled my heart with joy. The amount of love in everything we ate was overflowing. The cheese grits with real cheddar was great and the eggs weren't too bad. The pancakes were some of the best I've ever had (and I don't really like pancakes). They were fluffy and crispy around the edges with a great amount of butter. The BISCUITS stole the show for me, I was only able to take a bite (packed it to go, went to reheat my food and dropped the biscuit along with my pride). Needless to say I'm going back ASAP because I need a rematch with my biscuit and I want to try more things on their menu. You won't be disappointed, but don't rush good food and don't let the wait make you subtract a star!!

Tay J.

Yelp
Everything was beyond amazing and the staff gave all the southern hospitality savanana is known for. Definitely will be back. My favorite part was the grits just cause I had be crazing cheesy grits and these didn't disappoint or need anything extra. Biscuits were fluffy and butter

A Southern Breakfast Adventure That'll Have You Hootin' and Hollerin'! Y'all, let me spill the grits on Narobia's Grits and Gravy in Savannah, GA! So, picture this: I'm an Atlanta gal, proud and true, and when a friend of mine insisted I try this joint for breakfast, my taste buds went into full alert mode. And boy, oh boy, was I in for a treat! From the moment I stepped foot into Narobia's, I could feel the love and warmth wafting through the air, just like Grandma's kitchen back home. The food? Oh, it was like a bear hug from a Southern belle in the form of a plate. I'm talking lip-smacking, finger-licking, finger-snapping deliciousness! Let's talk about their famous grits and gravy combo, shall we? These grits were smoother than a cat on a hot tin roof, perfectly cooked to creamy perfection. And that gravy? It was the stuff dreams are made of, y'all! I swear, I could almost hear angels singing as I dipped my biscuit in that magical concoction. It was so good, I almost shed a tear of joy. Now, let me give a shoutout to the customer service. These folks at Narobia's know how to treat a hungry soul right! They welcomed me with open arms, big smiles, and genuine Southern hospitality. It felt like I was sitting at the family table, swapping stories and sharing laughs. They even threw in some delightful recommendations for exploring Savannah, making me feel like a local for a hot minute. And those homemade biscuits? Let me tell ya, they were like fluffy clouds sent from breakfast heaven. I couldn't help but devour them like a biscuit-eating champion. They were so lovely, I contemplated ordering a biscuit bouquet to take home with me. Yeah, they were that good! Now, let's talk prices. Narobia's keeps it real, y'all. The food they serve is worth its weight in gold, but they won't break your piggy bank. They know that good food should be enjoyed by all without putting a dent in your wallet. It's like finding a pot of gold at the end of a delicious rainbow. To wrap it all up, Narobia's Grits and Gravy is a breakfast paradise that'll make your taste buds sing the sweetest Dixie melody. Whether you're a local looking for a taste of home or a curious visitor like me, this place is a must-visit. Get ready for a culinary journey that'll have you hootin' and hollerin' with delight. Trust me, your taste buds will thank you, and your heart will be forever grateful for the Southern love they serve up on every plate. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm off to convince Grandma to take some cooking lessons from Narobia's, because their food is the stuff of legends. Happy eating, y'all!

Yelp
Y'all oh my goodness!!! Whoever created their biscuit recipe deserves a big hug. It was my first time trying Narobia's and I was astounded. It's called grits and gravy for a reason. I don't typically like grits, but their cheese grits were cooked perfectly and were filled with the perfect amount of cheese and butter. Their gravy is astounding, it's more of a brown gravy but the peppers and onions in it is a spectacular touch. We also had chicken biscuits which, was so so so good. Fried perfectly and the cheese was actually melted on the biscuit (which I often find does not happen). I 1000% recommend checking this place out. They were busy and the staff was still very attentive and kind. Must try!!!!

Yelp
As the other comments, it is a small restaurant. It has 4 booths, 4 tables and a couple of chair for carryout. I few tables out side. The restaurant is a little rustic. The host was busy so the personality was a 6 out of 10. The waiter was nice I would give him a 7 out of 10. The food look great. The food was not as hot coming out. I I was lukewarm. The biscuit was cold coming out. I asked for another biscuit it came out much better. The beef bacon was a new one for me. I love it. Grit was very creamy. The shrimp gravy with grits was alright. The gravy with grit was alright as well. My husband said the coffee was a little weak. Overall the 4 stars was because it was very clean and I ate all my food. P.S. The utensils are plastic.

Yelp
The food and service was amazing!!! 10/10 recommend if you're in the area. There is outside dining which accommodated our dogs. We had a great time and would definitely come back.

Yelp
I loved it! Went to undergrad at SSU over 25 years ago...,but didn't know about this spot. The food is great!!

Yelp
Five stars are not enough for this spot! Narobia's opened my eyes to Breakfast as a distinguished, lovingly prepared and deliciously original meal on our travels through the south. No pretention or exclusiveness, just warm hospitality. It's a brightly lit, modern and personal spot on a corner surrounded by a mix of traditional housing, but it is clearly the star of the neighborhood. Regular folks coming to pick up breakfast to go, or to sit at one of the table, all are greeted as regulars! And the food!!! My partner wasn't sure about gravy on her grits, but ordered them anyways; a heaping plate with a huge, perfectly grilled and seasoned crab cake, two eggs, and those grits! I had the beef sausage with the same. The grits were super; the gravy was the star for me!! Then the biscuits came; warm, with melted butter spread on the crusty top, perfect with the fresh coffee. Reading the story of how they serve breakfast to the community each Thanksgiving was inspiring, and being served with friendly professionalism by members of a large family, and seeing and hearing neighbors come by for their morning vittles, is a vacation experience I will always smilingly and respectfully remember.
google avatar

Yelp
My favorite is the crab cake breakfast w/brown gravy on the grits(100% crab meat). The crab omelette is also good. You will also love the hot biscuits & French toasts. I guess you can tell that this is my favorite breakfast spot
google avatar

Yelp
Narobia's is a real find. We're in Savannah and were looking for a place that knows how to do great biscuits and gravy. Believe it or not, that's not so easy to find. Well, we found it! The biscuits were crunchy on the outside and moist on the inside with a perfect gravy to match. Add some sausage and turkey bacon, and we were happy campers. On top of that, the service in this family restaurant was friendly and helpful. This is a great place, and we'll definitely be back for more!
google avatar

Yelp
Yes, wasn't no kind of way I was leaving town without trying this local, Black owned Savannah restaurant. I knew when we rolled up and they was a few of people outside that I wasn't gonna be disappointed. And I was NOT! The whiting with grits and eggs was a generous portion, well seasoned, and delicious. The Bisquit was the best I've had in awhile. And the food came out hella fast. Oh, I love Black people cuz we cook with so much love and soul. Do yourself a favor and get over to this spot quick, fast, and in a hurry. Yum yum in my tum tum!

Yelp
Amazing is an understatement! Let me start by saying they greet everyone that comes through the door. It's like you're welcome there and they don't care who you are they are going to feed you well! Our server was very nice and helpful with the menu. They have digital menus now so it's a little different when tying to order. But once you figure it out, it's on and poppin. Because it was my first time, I wanted to try more than one thing and I did! Lol. First thing was the French toast!!! Y'all!!!! Have you ever had French toast that don't require syrup?!? I hadn't until today. I don't know what they put in that batter, but they have managed to make it where you don't need syrup. Next was the seafood omelette!!! I've never tried seafood for breakfast like this. It was a ton of crab meat and shrimp, along with veggies and cheese perfectly distributed through the omelette. The red potatoes were perfectly seasoned and cooked. I had to take them back to hotel because I was full after the French toast and omelette. I had to pack up the biscuit too! It was sooo light and fluffy. My husband enjoyed his omelette and hash browns! Listen this is a place to try! It's worth every penny and time to drive out there. There is only street parking but don't let that discourage you from going. Park the car and walk to the spot!! I typed this while in bed resting and subject to grammatical errors. Please read from the heart and understand this is a great place!! Lol.

Yelp
My husband and I had a weekday breakfast here. I give my meal 4-stars, he gives his 3. I got the steak, eggs, grits and gravy. The steak was cooked as requested and the gravy/ onion/ bell pepper were delicious. It all needed some salt/seasoning but other than that was great. And the portion was huge. My husband got the chicken strips biscuit sandwich. He said the biscuit and chicken was dry and needed more seasoning. I would come back again, and my husband said he would too but would just get something different.
google avatar

James C.

Yelp
The 2 stars are for the food and the food only which was pretty good, seeing that I had to wait over an hour and a half for it, and even then, I didn't even get my whole order. This is the issue when it comes to supporting black business, one area will thrive, but another will falter. I came to Narobias for the first time due to the reviews of good food. The pictures did the reviews justice, so I said why not. I walk in to the restaurant where i meet the host/server with a terrible disposition. No greeting or anything, so I let her know it'll be just myself dining. It takes almost 10 minutes for a server to ask for my drinks, even though he was pacing around. Mind you, this restaurant is small and can seat a maximum of 8 tables (about 25-30 people). I order the beef sausage omelet with an extra biscuit and a side of beef bacon. Instead of telling me that there was a short staff and that food would take a while to cook, I was left pondering why it was over an hour and I didn't receive my food. I had to water down my lemonade as it was bitter and wasn't very refreshing, the water had a funny taste to it, and not once did my server ask me if I was alright or inform me of why my food took so long. When I received my food, the taste was good, but I was dissatisfied when I didn't receive the rest of my food. I was asked if I wanted it to go, I said no. Nothing in his service warranted a tip and yet the audacity of asking if I wanted to leave on was the indicator of terrible customer service. That alone ensures that I don't return to this establishment spite the good food. Owners and managers really need to teach thir staff about good customer service instead of working for a tip. If it's in you to serve with grace and a high level, you'll do it. I can recall living in Japan and receiving World Class customer service and when I was gladly ready to tip, they wouldn't take it. As it was seen as disrespect. Their mentality is that you should already be ready to serve at the highest level and not expect compensation for it. No wonder they are on a different level, but I digress, this is America, so I shouldn't think to expect more than the minimum

Yelp
I wanted southern biscuits and gravy while staying in Tybee Island. The Yelp reviews looked good for Narobia's so we drove out to try. Upon arrival, it looked like only take-out as the chairs inside were on top of the tables. As we turned to return to our car and rethink our breakfast option, the young lady from inside came out and said we could dine inside. So glad she did !!! She then said they were out of the sausage gravy. Our table of 6 had sad faces. She says. Hold on - Came back and said we can do it. !! Whew. 4 orders please. A side of grits for one, shrimp and grits and a shrimp omelet rounded out our breakfast order. The young lady waiting our table was friendly and attentive. There was a steady stream of patrons. We could see why!! The food was excellent. Definitely recommend.

Yelp
This is my new favorite breakfast spot in savannah!! The food was hot and delicious. The service was good, prices were very reasonable. The portion sizes were very large and filling. It's family oriented!! Family owned and ran!! Food is also cooked to order. Highly recommended and will be returning!
google avatar

Amy R.

Yelp
Loved the place! The food was delicious and had lots of unique options you can usually do not find from a home cooked meal. We sat upstairs on the balcony, which was wonderful. Highly recommend!
google avatar

Teresa O.

Yelp
This little place was a gem. Nothing fancy, but real food prepared with care and hitting all the spots. We went here for breakfast because my hubby wanted biscuits and gravy. It did not disappoint. Service was great and attentive. Real food at reasonable prices.
google avatar

Christa H.

Yelp
Absolutely delicious. Ordered to go. Decent wait but well worth it, and huge portion of food. Lasted a few meals. 10/10 would go back.
google avatar

Avery S.

Yelp
This is an amazing family-owned restaurant. They service was great and the food was just as great. I came with a group and we ordered a lot of food just to swap and try things. The biscuits are on point. The whiting was fresh n' tasty! The gravy! Everything. Highly recommend!
google avatar

Angelica D.

Yelp
Unfortunately, I didn't take any pictures of my meal here, but the meal I had at Narobia's was the best I had during my trip. Street parking was available. The restaurant is small, so I wouldn't recommend it for large groups. There were only two of us and we were able to get seated immediately. We arrived around 10:00 am and they were busy. I ordered the crab stew and a piece of whiting fish. The crab stew was served over grits and came with eggs and a biscuit. It was my first time trying crab stew and it was delicious. The stew was extremely flavorful and contained a few shrimp too. The grits were very good as well. The fish was fried to perfection! While the the food was A1, the service left a lot to be desired. The waitress was pleasant, but seemed disorganized. We waited for a really long time for our food as well. Despite the hiccups, I'd return in a heartbeat.

Chas F.

Yelp
Despite a discreet exterior presence, and a loud television inside, this local cafe was a gem to find. The best crab omelette I have ever had. Generous crab was first browned, likely in butter, then folded into the eggs.
google avatar

Dan W.

Yelp
Amazing. Simply authentic. Disclaimer: I had never tried grits before, and overall, I think they're "ok." Not my first choice, but not bad. The crab stew that covered them was quite tasty, and my over medium eggs were cooked perfectly. I am loving the biscuits I am eating in the South, and Narobia's biscuits did not disappoint. My mother enjoyed her seafood omelet, and that the french toast was amazing. I also had a bite, and agree they were very good. "Delicious coffee," per my mom. They had to make a fresh pot, so a little wait, but well worth it, according to my mom. Great effort on service, and since we went on a Tuesday, I would say any time to expect a wait. Seems like a lot of locals frequent here. Would highly recommend, and a great makeup meal for last night's terrible dinner

Bill G.

Yelp
Absolutely the best omelet ever. The omelet was chocked full of fresh seasoned crabmeat and shrimp with even more on top. It was phenomenal! The pancakes were also a hit, light and tasty. Service was warm and friendly. This Black-owned and operated restaurant is a must see when in Savannah.

Leah P.

Yelp
Excellent food! The staff is very friendly I loved it I definitely will be back!! The vibe of this place is very calm but yet can get busy, but still remain a great environment to enjoy & eat!!
google avatar

Jack P.

Yelp
Great service on top of great food! Never had a seafood omelette, but this one satisfied. Added jalapeños for that extra kick. They oughta be arrested for that French toast. All diabetics beware. They are so delicious and cinnamon-y. My daughter loved the flounder. Stop by as often as you can. You'll want to move to Savannah if you don't already live here. The place has limited seating, but very clean. Street parking. There's some building going on across the street. Just means more customers to for them.

Dorothea R.

Yelp
Black family owned business, had a great customer service experience and the food was great too! Ordered the salmon cake with grits and cheese eggs with a lemonade. The biscuit was nice and fluffy and the meal was flavorful!

BG W.

Yelp
Delicious food friendly service. Great prices. Music a bit loud but so what! Will definitely return
google avatar

Shonda G.

Yelp
Ordered it to go and it was ready as promised. Everything was well seasoned and fresh! Will be back to try something else

Paul K.

Yelp
Great place for southern breakfast. Simple and inexpensive staples without fuss. Smothered biscuit and gravy is hearty and tasty. Off the beaten path of most tourists which I appreciate. they remodeled and made it very nice.
google avatar

Yelp
On our annual food vacation with my daughters in Savannah. After a rather disappointing first day we decided to stay out of the trendy downtown spots and experience the type of food we grew up with. The lamb and seafood omelette s were AMAZING! The biscuits tasted like biscuits: flakey, buttery deliciousness. The grits were smooth and delicious. There was plenty of food for the money we spent. The servers were pleasant and friendly. It feels like a family business. So very very good.
google avatar

Joseph F.

Yelp
Unbelievably Great. Very inexpensive Very friendly staff. Smothered shrimp and eggs were my favorite

Ate here twice during a recent stay in Savannah. First meal were the Smothered Shrimp and Grits which were excellent. Delicious gravy, about one Dozen plump shrimp, 2 eggs and a buttered biscuit. All at very reasonable price. Next day I returned for the French Toast which was indeed so flavorful it needed no gravy. It seems that each order is freshly prepared to order which made. The short wait was worth it. The service was courteous and friendly, the young women who took care of me could not have been more pleasant and efficient. The interior of the restaurant was utilitarian and clean. Lots of people stop by for take out too. They have outside seating were guests can wait for their orders. I wholeheartedly recommend this place for quality, flavor and good value for money

Yelp
We visited Narobia's during our Savannah trip and we thoroughly enjoyed our food! I ordered the seafood omelette, my husband ordered the lamb and grits, and my daughter ordered the hot cakes. Everything was cooked fresh to order (so be patient...it's worth the wait)! Although it' was very busy, the staff was nice and pleasant. One of the best local restaurants we visited so far!

Yelp
Awesome food and service. Loved this place. Their French toast were phenomenal, the grits outstanding, not a bad item on their vast menu.

Yelp
We Narobia's Grits & Gravy while on vacation in Savannah. Let me say that the food was amazing!!! I got the beef sausage omelette, grits w/cheese and biscuit w/gravy. AMAZING!!! Meals come with grits, eggs and a biscuit. The amount of food was very filling. Service was great, family working throughout the restaurant. The owner was even in the kitchen cooking, which I believe is the reason that the food was so good! Ambiance was nice and clean. We will be back whenever we're in Savannah!

Yelp
The food is delicious! Coffee was fresh and really good. I was especially excited for the biscuits and gravy. I had shared an order and I should have gotten my own. This was also my first time having cheese grits and I was greatly pleased with them. My friends enjoyed the crab cakes, eggs, and veggie omelette. The biscuits at this place are worth writing home about! Doughy soft on the inside with a flaky buttery top. It was worth going back a second day. I was really looking forward to trying the white sausage gravy but they were out. So I ordered my own biscuits and the brown gravy which was really good again. I also ordered the French toast which was the perfect amount of sweetness and did not need syrup at all. Just a word of warning, the wait is long but in my opinion worth it. Just know this before you go so you are prepared for it. Kevin was a super nice and friendly server!
