"The Linden Hills spot that began its run in Grand Marais in 2004 serves dishes celebrating only Thai family recipes but also Burmese, Chinese and Cambodian influences with a focus on plying complex flavor out of roasted vegetables and proteins prepared in a classic French style. Naviya’s uses meats free of hormones and antibiotics when possible, as well as high-quality ingredients like wild coho salmon." - Alex Lodner

The fried rice was flavorful and well-balanced — not overly oily, with a good mix of vegetables and seasoning. It had that signature wok-char taste that gives Thai fried rice its depth, and the portion size was generous. The chicken satay stood out even more. The skewers were grilled perfectly, tender on the inside with just the right amount of char on the outside. The accompanying peanut sauce was rich and creamy, with a slight sweetness that paired beautifully with the grilled chicken.

We love coming here for thai that always feels healthier than every other place in the Cities. The service is always great, and we love the Hot Plates, Pad Thai, spring rolls, and fried rice dishes. They have a nice cheap Sake on tap, and indoor/outdoor seating.

Danielle Johnson

Google
This was our first time here, and we loved it! Great atmosphere and service. There was some outdoor seating, we decided to sit inside. The service was great. My Panang Curry was delicious! I also got a saki mojito. My fiance got the Pad See Ew and said it was one of the best noodle stirfry dishes he’s ever had. We recommended it to our friends and can’t wait to go back.

Dora Yeliseyeva

Google
It was really good but really really spicy (even tho I asked for just a little bit of spicy) if you’re not a big fan of spicy food than make sure to tell them no spicy at all)

Brian Osweiler

Google
This was our first time here and we loved it. The service was efficient and friendly, the atmosphere was nice, but the food stole the show. We ordered three items and split it up. The papaya salad was our favorite and ridiculously good. The Rama Thai was out next favorite, with a great sauce and smoky flavor. We also really liked the sweet soy noodles. If you want some outstanding Thai food, it’s worth a trip to Naviya’s!

Google
Excellent Thai food made with fresh and authentic ingredients cooked to perfection. We had coconut and lemon grass soup with chicken, fried shrimp spring roll and green curry with shrimp, everything was super awesome. Don’t miss out this place if your pallet craves for Thai food 😊

Google
Naviya's has excellent Thai food at reasonable prices. We had the basil fried rice, the spicy noodles, Pad Thai and Massaman curry plus an order of shrimp egg rolls. Everything was great, especially the fried rice, but the curry dish was very sweet so we wouldn't order that next time. We were seated right away on a Saturday night. Service was attentive and fast!

Elizabeth Chiang

Google
We came without reservations on a Saturday evening. They were quite busy but gave us a table outside. Despite being busy, our server was attentive and we got our food amazingly fast. We got the spring rolls, pad Thai and pineapple duck curry, every dish was delicious. It was just what we needed. I was sad that I was too full to get the mango sticky rice dessert. The only downside is the outside tables are right by the road.

Yelp
I truly enjoy good Thai food and only have this one visit in which to make a judgment, but based on this one visit I will definitely be back! Check the hours before going though because, strangely, they don't open for lunch until 12. Thankfully, I arrived at 1215. I was seated immediately, offered water and submitted my order within the first couple minutes. The food arrived quickly and was still steaming hot with a wonderful presentation and perfect amount of spice. I chose the MEDIUM level of spice (level 3) but they offer several hotter options, including "Thai hot". The serving size was more generous than I would have expected but it was so delicious I ate every bite. I set my credit card in the table upon completion of my meal and it was retrieved and processed quickly -- enabling me to finish my entire lunch in less than 20 minutes from arrival to departure. There was no rush and i didn't feel pressured, but it was nice to know they could process my order so quickly. I will definitely be back to try the green curry next!

Yelp
Meh. This whole experience was just fine. The spring rolls were delicious. The pad Thai was decent. For a Thai place, I was expecting everything to be more flavorful. It was still good, but my golden standard for Thai food in the twin cities is Thai Table: this didn't hold up in comparison. The service was disappointing, especially given the neighborhood it's in. I'm not one who's bothered by not having 'friendly' service as long as they're still attentive. It felt like they were trying to get us out as fast as they could (we got there at 7:30, they close at 9, we only sat for maybe 45 mins) while also not being at the table when we needed them to be? It was weird service. The space itself is nice. They've got patio seating which I imagine can be nice in the summer, but they're unfortunately backed up to some pretty major road construction at the moment. I can find good spring rolls elsewhere so this one won't be a place I return to.

Yelp
Amazing food and service. So much flavor. Wonderful people. Nice modern setting. Can't wait to return.

Yelp
Spicy noodles were perfect (after adding a little of the chili sauce). Veggies were al dente and plenty of sauce. Server was personable and friendly and even gave our dog a little portion of chicken on our patio. New favorite place in Linden Hills

Yelp
We had a lovely evening dining at this Linden Hills restaurant. The space is clean and open, and the service was helpful and cheerful. Our server answered all of our questions and made helpful suggestions. We started with the lettuce wraps, which were the perfect summer bite--light and refreshing, the different tastes and textures were united by a tasty sweet, salty, and tart sauce. Mom loved loved the crispy fried rice noodles so much she ate them by the handful. Mom really loved the massaman curry. It was sweet, smooth, and rich. The cinnamon came through clearly, and the carrots and potatoes were cooked to tender perfection. Mom adored the sauce. I was blown away by my Panang curry as well. The veggies were wok-charred, which was a surprising and absolutely delicious complement to the tongue-tingling spice of the curry. I'd never had this style of curry with a thick sauce that coated the other ingredients, but it worked really well here. We finished up with the mango and sticky rice, which is always a treat. I don't what magical store sells the Perfect Mangos that they used, but I wish I did--this dessert was a real treat! The portions are generous enough that you can take home another meal with your leftovers, and the menu had enough options to appeal to many dietary and taste preferences. It's a great place for vegetarians and vegans as well as obligate carnivores.

Yelp
We had an excellent experience at Naviya's. We walked in with no reservation and were able to get a table outside. Service was great we ordered a couple of iced teas to kick things off. Their Thai tea was everything I wanted on a hot day. Spring rolls and cream cheese wontons were both delicious. Both just well done and fresh. Highlight of the meal for me was the Basil Fried Rice, but the Pad Thai was also very good. This place should rated much higher than it is! One of the best Thai restaurants in Minneapolis without a doubt!
google avatar

Ryan F.

Yelp
Love the simplicity of the restaurant - and the food was nothing like that! Food was hot and delicious! We ate a few dishes there and ordered more to take home. The cheese wontons, spring rolls, fried rice and soups were all delicious.

Yelp
I get take out from Naviya's when I'm too busy to cook. Today I ordered the Rama Thai stir fry with chicken. It was ready quickly and delicious. The slightly spicy red peanut and coconut milk warmed me up on this rainy day.
google avatar

Ellie B.

Yelp
I ordered takeout from here and was happy with the service I received. I ordered the red curry with chicken at a three spice level. It was extremely spicy but the flavors were incredible. Definitely will be back but will be sure to get a lower level of spice!
google avatar

Yelp
This was a take out situation. I work nearby and needed dinner between the work day ending and an event in the evening. I ordered Thai fried rice. The online ordering process was straightforward, and the food was ready when promised. Price was reasonable. People at the front were friendly. The food itself was just okay. It was pretty flavorless - I know I ordered a rice dish, but there is usually more to taste in Thai fried rice. This was so bland. If it were not my only dining option that night I likely would not have eaten it. Maybe there are lots of other more flavorful items, but my experience was very meh. I'd give it another try with something different.

Yelp
The amazing places you can find through just a quick search always amaze me. Naviya's was no exception as the food, service, and atmosphere were amazing! I arrived on a super chilly Halloween evening to an empty spot. I was warmly welcomed and asked to sir wherever. I took a seat and checked out their menu, which had a diverse mix of curries, rice, appetizers, and other entrees. I was a little overwhelmed, so the waiter told me to try the green curry with chicken. I'm so glad I tried this as the curry was so delicious. It came out pipping hot and with medium spice. It made my lips tingle just enough, but not to the point of discomfort. I added the white rice that came on the side and chowed down. Every bite was satisfying, and I could not get enough. I'm so happy that curry makes great leftovers as I was able to save it and savor it later. Definitely recommend this wonderful neighborhood gem! Speaking of the neighborhood, it is super quaint and cute. I will be back to Naviya's when I am in the Minneapolis area again!

Yelp
This is by far my favorite Thai food in Minneapolis. I don't do great with spicy food, and the medium spice level was almost the tipping point for me. The curry was very flavorful, with an enjoyable kick. The restaurant is small, but has a great ambience and local feel. I highly recommend this location and dish.

Yelp
Holy WOW, this place is hands down AMAZING!! My husband and I visited here for date night and neither of us had heard of it before. I came across it on Yelp and it seemed like it had really great reviews so we figured we'd try it. I called to see if I needed to make reservations but they don't do reservations for tables under 4 people. They do have indoor and outdoor seating though, so keep that in mind for when you plan a visit. After spending some time looking at the menu we ordered a starter: Fresh Shrimp & Chicken Spring Rolls. They are gluten free and include Lettuce, carrot, basil, cucumber, rice noodle, shrimp, chicken, rice paper. Def a 10/10 on these, so good!! After our starter I ordered my main entree: Ginger Garlic Hot Plate which included Ginger, carrot, broccoli, red pepper, cauliflower, pea pod, zucchini, onion, garlic, cilantro, and green onion. I also requested to add a Protein: Natural Chicken. Hands down amazing - lots of fresh veggies, rice on the side and chicken cooked to perfection!! My husband ordered: Red Curry, which is gluten free and inckudes red curry paste, coconut milk, onion, red pepper, lime leaf, cauliflower, zucchini, pea pod, bamboo shoots, basil. He too asked for a protein: Wild Cod and requested that it be deep fried. HOLY AMAZING! When I go back I'm definitely getting this dish - the textures and flavors amazing, the curry was like none I've had before and how they lightly deep fried the Wild Cod brought the seafood flavor out especially. This too was served with rice on the side. When we left, we were full from the amazing veggies and protein. My husband and I can't wait to stop back here again soon ... I can tell after our first visit we're going to be regulars lol.

Yelp
Delicious food. Plenty of vegetables in the curry and stir fry. Great vegan and vegetarian options on the menu. Excellent service. Small in size get there early to secure a table for dinner.

Yelp
Special Birthday edition. A lady friend had her birthday last Friday. Her family invited me and my daughter Madison. We ate like Champs. Mostly vegetarian and some vegan too. The dishes were great. Lettuce wraps made w Tofu and lettuce wraps made w mok duck. Veg rolls. Bangkok hot plate Ginger garlic hot plate. Fried rice (two types)

Inaje P.

Yelp
Amazing food and great portion sizes! I would recommend getting more then one orders of the cream cheese wontons, trust me!
google avatar

Mike S.

Yelp
This place has the absolute best cream cheese wontons. Most places have good ones, but these are superior. The pad Thai is also great. I would not recommend the spring rolls as they did not come with much peanut sauce and lacked flavor

Yelp
Revisiting this Thai restaurant again, the look and feel were same as earlier the ambience and interiors. We went ahead and ordered our favorite Thai traditional soup tom yum goong with shrimp broth and lot of veggies. It had the right heat also bit of sourness to cleanse the pallet. Ordered crispy veggie spring rolls for appetizer the stuffing was tasty and meaty though it was all veggies. It was comforting for the pallet but we would have preferred a bit spice or heat in the stuffing. For the main course we ordered Thai fried rice which was the best. It had the burnt flavor which was so refreshing. Veggies and egg were added to the right consistency with the rice which made the dish a super star. Finally it was a great lunch and we would love yo comeback.

Yelp
Thai food is my favorite next to sushi and wow I just loved this place! Great service, cute place with good music in my opinion. But the food was seriously so good both times I went. I ordered shrimp pad see ew both times because it was so good. The noodles weren't mushy, there was a nice char and the veggies were fresh and crunchy still! I got a 3 for spice level and my friend got a 4 on her chicken panang curry and I have to say 3 is my max, although the panang curry was spicy (she ordered it at a level 4) it was really flavorful and the curry sauce was nice and thick. We also tried the fresh spring rolls which were good but honestly quite a small portion, equivalent to 2 spring rolls. We also had the mango and sticky rice for dessert and that was classic and yummy.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I randomly stumbled upon this place. He was craving Thai food and we were super happy we found this place. We started off with the crispy shrimp rolls and the cream cheese wontons. The cream cheese wontons were absolutely delicious! It's exactly what you expect them to be. They were absolutely filled to the brim with cream cheese. My boyfriend got the papaya salad. He got it Thai level spicy and man that was one of the most spiciest dishes I think I've ever had. He can really handle spice and ended up eating the whole thing. I had one little bite and was sweating. Then I got the coconut lemongrass soup. The broth was very refreshing however the chunks of vegetables were really large and kind of hard to eat. I'm not sure I would get that again. We also got the spicy noodles. This time we got it 3/5 on the spice level which was perfect. They are exactly what you expect spicy Thai noodles to be. Lots of vegetables and chicken. We ended our meal with mango sticky rice which was by far my favorite part of the meal. I would come back just for that. The food and the service were great. The only part of the experience I didn't enjoy was the atmosphere. The whole restaurant is painted in this very dark forest green which makes the ambience a little depressing. They do have a patio on the sidewalk which would be nice to enjoy on a summer day.

Yelp
We've been customers for a long time and have generally liked Naviya's food. But my husband got food poisoning after eating there about 1 month ago. We reported it and Naviya's refunded his entree. Would have been nice for them to refund the entire order as we threw out all leftovers the next day for fear of getting anyone else sick. Even after that, though, we were not willing to write Naviya's off. Our most recent order included the green curry dish. The website was unclear but apparently it comes with "level 2 spice". That was no problem as I selected level 2 spice anyway, in the online ordering tool. It came so flaming hot that I couldn't eat it. My husband (typically a level 3 eater) tasted it and it was too hot for him too. I called and explained the situation to a staff person who said the manager would call me back. No one called me back. So I called again the next day and spoke with another staffer who gave me a bunch of reasons why the dish was too hot: the curry is supposed to be really hot, it's just my palate that cannot handle it, etc. I asked for the manager to call me back and the staffer told me he didn't know if they would call me back. At this point I'm thinking, what kind of customer service is this? I just bought a $20 entree that I couldn't eat and the manager can't even call me back? So I wrote an email to Naviya's, directed to the manager. No response. Naviya's is not inexpensive. For regular customers to get this lack of customer service is pretty appalling. Needless to say, if we--or friends or family--want Thai food, we now avoid Naviya's like the plague. A callback from the manager and a $20 discount or gift card or replacement entree would have made all the difference.

Yelp
I ate dinner here on a recommendation from a friend. It was excellent. We choose an early dinner time so it was not very busy. They had indoor seating with a few tables on the sidewalk. Much too hot the night we were there to want to eat outside. Our server was excellent, allowing us to talk and catch up while we took our time through dinner. We started with spring rolls per his recommendation and they were excellent. Very fresh ingredients and a yummy dipping sauce. I chose the ginger garlic hot plate, also as a recommendation, and I thought it was excellent. The veggies were crisp and steaming hot. The ginger garlic spices enhanced the meal. I added chicken as my protein. It was a ton to eat so I had lunch the next day as well. Very nice experience.

Yelp
Great food and great service! The lemon grass soup was full of flavor. The curry and the pad Thai were also delicious
google avatar

Jared M.

Yelp
Good Thai. Would've given 4 but the curries could use more coconut cream (imo) and it's a bit pricer than my usual go to Thai restaurants. I will say I had amazing service!
google avatar

Megan M.

Yelp
I am SHOCKED this place doesn't have an overall 4+ star rating, because this place was AWESOME. My family and I all ordered different meals, and several appetizers, and all of them tasted incredible. I ordered the Thai-Style Sweet and Sour Stir Fry and it was fantastic. This is 100% one of my, if not my, favorite Thai place in Minneapolis. I definitely will be coming back here again, there are so many more dishes I want to try!

Yelp
we ordered large order for take out rice overcooked green curry tasted like from can worst was pad thai , over cooked rice noodles broke into small pieces embarssing for out of town guests will not order online again if we ate in , we would have sent all back

Yelp
Wonderful spot! Great food, friendly service. Highly recommend! Lettuce wraps are really well done. Ordered a "4" on our entree for spice. It was exactly what you would want... Well done to this restaurant

Yelp
Hi me again. Isn't it funny how life goes on but you still go to the same restaurant? Loyal This time I was impressed with the panang curry. Yup I had never had panang curry before so you bet I had an open mind and an open heart for this one and this joint did Not disappoint. My partner and I also got a pad Thai because we did that thing where you get two and share. For the plaid Thai we said can we have it made vegan with chicken on the side. As you can imagine this was a little strange to the chefs in there so they gave us a call and we straightened it out and they were nice for asking. We said we wanted it vegan except still with egg in it. My partner said when she answered the phone the person was laughing at something , you know (as people do), so imagine picking up the phone and you just hear someone cackling and then they say "oh yes hello is this Frankie? Calling about your order....... " It was awesome Anyway we were beyond pleased with the whole experience. Little tip for you yelpers . I Know on a weekday evening this place says somn like order ready in 90-120 minutes :~) on the online ordering system. So here's what you do to avoid that. Just place an order at 3pm but say you don't want it til 5pm. It's called order in advance. It's awesome thanks naviya once again. Sorry no pics ...we immediately destroyed the food and I forgot to take any before

Yelp
Tried this place & it didn't have traditional pho but it was still very good. I loved that it was nice enough to sit outside! I haven't been to Thai restaurant with outside dining so it was bonus. The pear beer was very delicious & will definitely be back.

Yelp
A local jackpot! Naviya's was the perfect atmosphere for an intimate dinner with friends. The service was wonderful and everyone loved their dish selections. Highly recommend!

Yelp
I love this neighborhood place! It is a lovely restaurant run by Alex and his family--from Thailand. To be honest I don't judge a Thai place by how good the Pad Thai and Cream Cheese wontons are. The true authenticity comes from their other dishes and their food is super fresh and delicious. no mushy vegetables, I crave their soups! And the shiitake mushroom egg rolls are to die for as are their curries. Pad see ew is so good. The service is fantastic. The decor and ambiance is modern and fresh. The wine list is well priced and you actually get a "good pour" of wine unlike most of the places around here where they basically use a medicine dropper. Give them the love people!
google avatar

Jennifer K.

Yelp
We love Naviya's! It is our go to thai restaurant here in Minneapolis. Each dish is full of flavor and spice. Their online ordering has made the past year so easy, and they even did truck delivery. I would highly recommend this for any group of friends / family / co-workers for a wonderful night out.

Yelp
How have I never heard of or been to this place before?! Perfectly yet indiscreetly located in Linden Hills across the street from Rose Street Patisserie, I pass this spot all the time but have never noticed the sign. I took a cafe break and walked across for lunch, and am so glad I did! This quaint and unassuming restaurant is the best kind of surprise. We were greeted warmly and had our pick of spots-- only a few others in for lunch on a Tuesday. The menu had us all drooling -- all the Thai favorites plus more to choose from. We ordered spring rolls and egg rolls for starter course. The spring rolls were delicious with an addicting sweet fish sauce for dipping. I ordered the Tom Ka Gai soup, and the complex lemongrass and coconut milk flavors were splendid. Others got curry, pad see ew, and pad Thai, and were very pleased with the fresh vegetables and complex spices. Our waiter was so helpful in providing his top recommendations, offering spice level requests, and accommodating for gluten free or vegan needs. Excellent service! For dessert, we ordered the mango sticky rice, and it brought us back to our travels in Thailand. The cuisine here is spot on!

Praneel A.

Yelp
Nothing bad to say nothing super. Was average for me. Pad Thai with Chicken option.

Yelp
This place has gone down hill. Todays order- the sticky rice filled up 1/2 the container and had 2 turquoise stings in it, similar in consistency to tooth floss. They completely stiffed us on the side of white rice that comes with the meal- just wasn't included in the to-go bag. The quantity of one meal was also only about 1/2-2/3 of a historical order. They ran out of beef so they subbed chicken for the Massaman and that overwhelmingly smelled and tasted like fish sauce. This was a favorite. I just can't keep giving them my business, it's just BAD and the quality/quantity has gone down hill.

Yelp
Located in Linden Hills (explains the high prices), we come here every time we're in town. First time was 5 stars. We said it was the best thai food we've ever had. Second time was 4 stars. Still good, but not quite as good as our first visit. Our third time on this trip was a 3 star, A-OK dining experience. So time to update this review. We went at 5pm and were the only ones in the restaurant, which was nice, as we got prompt and attentive service with multiple water refills. Service has never been an issue here during all of our visits. It's always good & friendly. They have one Jen G. Approved Bathroom. Through the years, the food has become increasingly expensive for the amount & quality of food you get. It's not bad...just tastes more Americanized now. $17 pineapple hot plate with mock duck. I requested mild spicy level 2 (out of 6. Random). It barely had any spice to it. I probably could've easily gone level four to counter balance the sweetness of the dish. The mock duck consistency could've been better as well. Loved that there were a lot of vegetables that were well prepared. I hate soggy vegetables, and these were crisp. I requested low sodium, which they accommodated nicely. Overall, a decent and edible dish. But highly overpriced. 3 stars. $18 Holy basil supreme with organic tofu. Spicy level 1.5. Just like my dish, the vegetables were plentiful and crisp. Hubby appreciated that it wasn't overly salty and that he was able to get a vegan entrée. Very high-priced though. $18 Pad Thai with organic tofu was supremely high priced for what you get. We were still hungry & had to eat when we got home lol Being from California, we are used to high priced restaurants. But I'm surprised that in the midwest this is what they're charging. Thai restaurants don't even charge this much back home! We'll still come here every time we're in town, as it's become somewhat of a family tradition. Plus, the workers are always nice. This isn't a bad 3 star review (I think people get hung up on 3 stars as being bad. No, it's still A-OK). However, in the future, I would try to go during lunch when the prices are a little bit lower. Even if this restaurant was located in San Diego, I would not pay these prices for these entrées. Plumeria (San Diego) blows them away in terms of flavor, quantity and prices. But when in the land of mosquitoes & snowy tundras, this is as good as it gets for Thai food.
google avatar

Sarah K.

Yelp
I seriously do not understand why this place is not busier! I have been here a few times and never had a problem finding a spot to sit, which would imply the food is lacking but if you are in for authentic Thai food, look no further. Their menu is expansive and you can choose your spice level. Fair warning, a level 5 is truly a level 5, not MN spicy! Don't overlook the soups and tea as well as they are all wonderful!
google avatar

Debbie F.

Yelp
Absolutely amazing!! As a party of two we ordered the pot of Black Pearl Tea, the Shrimp and Chicken Spring Rolls, and the #51 noodles. The Spring Rolls and accompanying sauce were the real hit. The veggies and basil in the rolls were uber-fresh and crunchy. This lovely little restaurant has both inside and outdoor seating. The weather was so perfect, we chose an outside table. I will definitely return!!!!

Yelp
I love Thai food and this place did not disappoint. True restaurant is in a Cute neighborhood. Only street parking so you may have to park a few blocks away - but it's a nice place to walk and explore. Modern, clean ambiance inside. Good service! We had the Thai spring roll lettuce wraps for an appetizer. They were really good. We tried the veggie curry trio for our dinner. My favorite was the GREEN curry - the sauce was so delicious and it was FULL of delicious veggies. Two of us shared those two dishes and couldn't finish them - it was very filling! We took home leftovers. I like spicy food and they have levels of spice from 1-5. We ordered a 4 and it was perfect! An overall good experience!

Yelp
Love the food here and the service is top-notch. I recommend the chicken/shrimp rolls and Basil chicken hot plate. We end up going here about once per week. By far the best Thai food in the Twin Cities and the ambiance is great as well. Very clean and fresh!

Grace P.

Yelp
The hot plate was really good rich and flavor but had a little too much liquid swimming and very hard to pick up the vegetables with your fork. It comes with a side of rice so it was good to pour the liquid into the rice to give it flavor. The pad Thai was okay it was kind of bland and could have more of a Thai flavor.

Yelp
We like Naviya's food - though they tend to be heavy on veggies (especially cauliflower) - but after placing an order recently, they were pretty unprofessional. We ordered for 7:45. They called at 7:06 and asked if we could pick it up early (right then) so they could leave early. I said I couldn't, which they said they were okay with. But, they made our food 18 minutes too early anyway, and then called me twice while I was driving to check where I was. Food is good. Service leaves a bad taste in your mouth.

Yelp
I moved nearby Naviya's and needed to find my new favorite Thai takeout. This place is legit! I placed an order on a Friday night and it took about 45 minutes. Made sense when I walked in, the tiny restaurant was packed and about 5 other people were also picking up. We ordered the Red curry with chicken and Pad Thai with tofu. I looooved the red curry, like probably one of my favorites I've ever had. The sauce had all the right flavors. You could taste a little bit of the coconut milk sweetness but it was balanced by the spice of the curry paste. The peppers and chicken all poured over some rice definitely hit the spot. I was not as impressed with the pad Thai. The noodles were a little dry for me. I like saucy dishes. The tofu was also cut long and I personally like cubes. Would definitely order this again! I'll probably stick with take out since the restaurant is so tiny.

Yelp
Veggie egg rolls were crunchy and great flavor. I also had the vegetable curry had wonderful full flavor profile! The staff was attentive & the restaurant was cozy.

Yelp
+.5 for service I'm willing to bet that they were trying to make the food here as healthy as possible. The reason I said that was that almost every single dish my family and I ordered lacked sauce. Naviya's was our first stop during our recent trip to MSP, as I haven't had real good Thai food in a while and the reviews here looked very good. I had the pad thai, while my family also shared dishes such as the massaman curry, chicken satay, spicy lemongrass soup, and Thai grilled beef salad. Unfortunately the only food that really stood out was the massaman curry in terms of sauce and taste. Everything else, as mentioned before, lacked sauce and was extremely dry. If you're someone who likes food that's healthy and not fatty at all, this place might fit your bill. Service was excellent, and I also found it adorable how our server repeatedly apologized when he made minor errors when servicing us. I'm pretty liberal with being served, as long as the food arrives and the server fills my glass of water every so often. I probably won't recommend this place to my friends if they're visiting MSP.

Yelp
I went yesterday as a group of four. The food was amazing, they let us have some drinks outside while we waited for our table, it's reasonably priced for the area and portion sizes, and the drink selection was generally good. My one recommendation would be to make sure to have more drinks in stock as they ran out of two types. Will plan to go back. We all had delicious curries, I love the diversity of protein options, and we had a green papaya salad which was great!

Yelp
Food isn't great. Nothing special. Honesty pretty gross. Lettuce wraps came with ice cold ingredients. Soup was bland ans sweet just not quite right. High $33 for soup and app. Not worth it.

Yelp
Best Thai in town. I am a big fan of how knowledgeable they are with allergies. The food is so good and I can eat it, just lovely.

Yelp
I have frequented this establishment often but they were way off the mark this evening. Food was just average and I ordered "Thai hot" but it was only mild to medium spiced. I would have normally simply asked the server for chili paste but after serving our food he didn't return to the table until we were finished eating. So along with the just okay food the service was poor.
