New Dim Sum Kingdom

The reviews convince me to come, but it was disappointing! I ordered 5 kinds clearly and the waiter repeated my orders, too. Sadly, they forgot 2 kinds of them. During our visit, the restaurant was not busy, only few tables were occupied. After finishing 3 of our orders, the other waiter seemed to rush us by asking if we wanted to order more, but we were there waiting for 2 more orders. They checked and came back to tell us that they forgot. I really appreciate your honesty. The taste of the dishes was decent, and the portion is not so much compared to others. The place is bit narrow, too.

My friend and I were in the area for Lunar New Year Parade 2025. We knew we wanted soup dumplings. We stopped in and were very happy with our choice. She ordered the steamed pork soup dumplings + tea for the table + pork fried rice. The tea was spot on for a cold day. The 2 dishes were large enough for us to share. Both were delicious! I ordered crab Rangoon + beef dumplings + a can of Dr. Pepper. The dumplings were hot and very filling. The crab Rangoon was so creamy and crunchy. My dishes were also large enough to share. We each spent about $30, with a tip for the wonderful service we experienced even in the midst of a very busy day for them. We plan to come back when we are in the area.

The staff is so friendly. The food is a nice mix of Cantonese and Shanghai dishes. The serving sizes are perfect for groups (usually 4-6 pieces instead of the usual 2-4). There's also a discount for cash!

The pork dumpling and chives/pork noodles where fantastic! The noodles were cooked perfectly, and the pork was seasoned to perfection. One of the best dine in experiences in Chinatown especially after 8pm. The Service was absolutely impeccable, the waiter attended to my tables every need. I definitely recommend giving New Dim Sum Kingdom a fighting chance!

I honestly don’t get the hype of this place. I cannot tell if it’s associated with dim sum garden or not but it’s similar in quality. The service was good and very nice but the food lacked flavor and quality. The soup dumplings were soggy and the inside was just bland meat. The pan fried dumplings had too much dough and was tough to eat. The flavor was slightly better. Beef dumplings were a definite don’t get. The duck was crispy enough but seemed to be old meat. My favorites were the bacon wrapped shrimp lol, the rice cakes and the salted egg custards. It is apparently newly opened but suspiciously looks like it’s a duplicate of dim sum garden but unfortunately the food doesn’t get better here. Still have great service and a good time but unfortunately the food was not hitting.

Fantastic new Chinese restaurant in Chinatown! Our server, Jay, and everyone at the restaurant were warm, welcoming, and offer great service. The atmosphere is fun and welcoming, not to mention the food is delicious and very fairly priced. My daughter and I stopped in for our first visit and cannot wait to bring the rest of our family back. It is always a treat to find a restaurant with both amazing food and amazing people— this is one of those fabulous places.

This new soup dumpling spot is really impressive. The dumplings are packed with flavor and that perfect burst of savory goodness in each bite. Everything we tried was solid, and you can tell they really care about getting the details right. Definitely a place worth coming back to. I'll be back for sure!
