The chef at the helm here (his father is Greek, his mother Japanese), creates contemporary Greek-focused cooking with plenty of Asian influences, and enticing dishes that are fresh, colourful and perfect for sharing. "While you might think that your last night in Athens warrants a traditional Greek feast, we suggest to booking a table at Nolan instead. Known for its Greek-Asian fusion menu, the restaurant has been buzzed about since it opened in 2016. (Order the soba noodles with smoked salmon and tahini sauce and thank us later.) Somewhat surprisingly, the atmosphere is also relatively unpretentious."

I went to this restaurant after a long day, without a reservation. They offered me a seat at the bar and recommended a couple of dishes. The menu was small, with interesting fusion style options. It’s a small restaurant with a nice atmosphere. The food came quickly and was excellent. The flavors worked really well together and I really enjoyed both dishes. Definitely a place I would recommend. Great food, friendly service and reasonably priced.

We had the most amazing meal here tonight. We arrived on time for our table, however, Greek time is a little flexible. So we had to wait almost 40 minutes until our table was clear. The manager (?) was lovely, didn’t get his name, however he was a Manchester United fan. He kept us going with some fizz whilst we waited outside. Inside to eat four heavenly dishes, which was just the right amount for two people. It was very difficult to choose from the menu, everything looked so delicious. Two desserts, and two pastries for breakfast tomorrow morning. I can’t recommend this restaurant enough, I would happily go back again tomorrow and eat exactly the same dishes. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, the service was quick and efficient, and we simply loved everything about Nolan.

We had an amazing dinner. We tried four dishes and dessert. All dishes were well-balanced and delicious. We especially liked crab appetizer, skirt steak and Baba for the desert. Definitely a must-visit place if you are in Athens.

Good dishes: Tempura cod, bread So-so to bad: inside skirt is too salty, chicken thigh is nothing special, pilmeni is just like Asian dumplings with some fancy topping. Service is absolutely not Michelin standard- Not attentive to refill water, pace for dishes are very odd. First three came out fast, last two were very slow. Atmosphere is good but I probably will not recommend to any of my friends who visits Athens.

Thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at Nolan. The dishes are medium size tapas style and the quality was excellent. We tried the Green Beans Salad, the kushiyaki sea bass, cod tempura, angus beef and duck. Every dish was tasty. Definitely worth a visit.

The restaurant offers a selection of exceptional dishes, each characterized by outstanding flavors. While the portion sizes are relatively small, the taste more than makes up for it. Advance reservations are recommended to secure a table. Additionally, the staff provides attentive and friendly service. This establishment comes highly recommended, including recognition from the MICHELIN guide.

Very nice place, on the higher end, with small plates. Nice service and atmosphere. Food was very good , definitely recommend the sea bream tartare. However the cod with the wasabi mayo was a bit salty, and the smashed cucumber salad more sour than we would like. Overall very good, but a bit too expensive for the food offered.

We had an amazing dinner at the restaurant. Each dish was unique, bursting with bold and precise flavors. The combination of modern and Asian influences, along with excellent ingredients, made for a special experience. The desserts were also exceptional—distinctive, non-standard, and excellent. This was the best restaurant we’ve dined at in Athens. A true experience!
