"On nights when a hankering for saucy noodles struck, I’d leg it across the field behind my place to Northern Farmhouse Pasta."

"Billing itself as “New York’s first pasta shop to use 100% NY wheat!!!” the playfulness of those three exclamation points really permeate the menu and the atmosphere. There’s an ever-changing array of seasonal and experimental ravioli, as well as several ramen varieties.. A14-ounce veal chop and the cast-iron Tuscan chicken parm (a sauteed chopped chicken in a rustic sauce with spinach) are other standouts." - Richard Morgan

Just look at the photos of the food, meatballs, baked clams, shrimp, calamari, lobster ramen.... Our waitress was awesome, thank you Stacia! You made our first visit to the restaurant memorial.

The food here was so delicious! We ordered the garlic bread, anatra a la bolognese, and pollo alla vodka (which was THE BEST). Highly recommend if you’re in Roscoe.

I’m not one to leave reviews but Northern Farmhouse Pasta deserves one. My husband, 3 year old and I visited this evening. We go out often and I can’t remember the last time we had a meal that was so incredibly satisfying. All 3 of our dishes and appetizers were amazing. Mine was especially good, we suggest everyone try the Woodsman pasta dish!

Google
Highly recommend making reservations. The pasta was delicious and unique. We love Pasta Forma and Antica Pesa in Brooklyn and A Pasta Bar in Manhattan. And this is comparable in quality and taste. Don’t miss out on the meatball appetizer! Super small, family run restaurant.

Google
The food was divine. I've spent 3 months in Italy and have Italian family that cook Italian food all the time. It tasted exactly like the food I had in Italy. I'm also vegan, and they were very accommodating. My family and I had the Pasta alla Nerano, Bucatini alla Boscaiola, Gnocchi alla Sorentina, and a zucchini gnocchi dish with a serving of garlic bread.

I'm sure so many people say this, but I drive past this place all the time and finally decided to stop in. And I wish I'd done it sooner! It was so hard to pick out a dish as everything on the menu looked so delicious! I picked out the Polpa alla Luciana and it was absolute perfection. So tasty, just a hint of spice, and the octopus was cooked perfectly! Our server was so pleasant, not pushy or rushing us to order as we took awhile to decide what we wanted to get. Will absolutely be back for more! On a second visit, we shared a garlic lovers Flatbread pizza, and each got a slice of the limoncello cake and it was amazing!

Google
What a great find! So happy with the farm to table food. Everything was super fresh and delicious. Got to try the baked clams, garlic bread, anchovies pasta, and Rigatoni alla Norcina. Although a simple dish, the flavors in the anchovies pasta were so complex and I kept going back for more bites. They also have a good wine selection to pair with our meal. Our waiter provided great service and was very attentive to all of our needs. We left with full bellies and warm hearts. Leftovers tasted great the next day too!

Google
Huge portions (you can definitely split a dish easily w / 2 people), cute atmosphere, friendly service. I thought the food was alright — nothing that blew me away, but solid, hearty meal. I would suggest getting either just a pasta dish, or just the ramen. Getting both (splitting up between 2) was too many tastes / did not like the combo.

Yelp
My husband an I were in for dinner this evening. As soon as we parked, we knew that we were in for a treat, as the aroma of garlic filled the parking lot. The restaurant is cozy, quaint and emanates a feeling of home. The food was outstanding. We enjoyed the garlic bread, shrimp oregonata, gnocchi Sorrentino and the oxtail ragu. The service was friendly and we felt welcomed. It was great speaking with Chef Bob at the end of our meal. We look forward to returning and will highly recommend Northern Farmhouse to our friends in the area. All the best!

Yelp
This place is off the Main Street of Roscoe but it deserve some highlight. Pasta are made on premise and they are cooked al dente. I ordered Pasta alla Genovese con Agnello and it tasted so good. The lamb was so tasty and well-seasoned. My husband's pasta dish was yummy too. The menu doesn't only contain pasta. It has seafood and another entree, and even ramen. I would love to try other dishes for next time.

Yelp
Flyfishing with a group this weekend and discovered Northern Farmhouse Pasta Fantastic restaurant with outstanding food, service and hospitality! Chef is a talented great guy Had dinner two nights. All the dishes are great and portions are huge Nothing like fresh pasta and old country Italian recipes Highly recommended!!

Yelp
My boyfriend and I stopped here on the way to a vacation in Ithaca. We found the spot randomly and had high expectations (that were exceeded!). We ate here around 12:30 on a Saturday and the place was empty, but I'm sure it picks up later in the day. I ordered the shrimp scampi and my boyfriend ordered the lobster cacio y Pepe. Both meals were absolutely delicious. You can tell their pastas are homemade and they are cooked perfectly. All of the ingredients were so fresh and flavorful. The dish was packed with shrimp that were perfectly butterflied. The lemon in the dish was really pronounced. I think they use lemon zest to get the pure lemon flavor that many shrimp scampi dishes lack. The fresh herbs were the perfect touch as well. I am from LI and currently live in Queens and I'm pretty sure this was the best shrimp scampi I've ever had. I don't know how often I'll get to Roscoe in the future, but I highly, highly recommend this spot and hope I can get back. Maybe on the drive home!!

Rita K.

Yelp
Everything was absolutely perfect, would recommend highly. Don't pass up going to this restaurant if your in the area.

James M.

Yelp
The food is out of this world and the service is excellent! The only thing I wish they still sold their dried pasta! I miss making it at home. We ordered the Calamari and Meatballs to start. The calamari was some of the best I've ever had. The sauce that's it's served with has a nice heat to it. The meatballs are phenomenal but the star of the show is the tomato sauce. It is excellent. For dinner I had the woodsman bucatini. It's bucatini with mushrooms, peas and pancetta. It was also delicious. Looking forward to dining here again. I highly recommend.

Yelp
Gross. Everything here is nasty. If you're a foodie, AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! Pasta was soggy and the sauce tasted like old supermarket sauce. Sand in the clams! So nasty

Barbara K.

Yelp
Absolutely love this place. Great food. Excellent service. Must call ahead for reservation. Highly recommend the baked clams appetizer, garlic bread and the shrimp with gnocchi entree. Hubby loves the eggplant parm which is baked not fried. Also love the pork bruschetta entree. Everything is delicious!

Jon S.

Yelp
Food delicious, service exceptional, hospitality amazing! Chef and owner Bob has a unique twist on Italian classics. Every dish we had was truly tasty. Incredible place! Don't miss it before it's too busy. One of the best restaurants I've been to in a long time. Kudos Chef!! And thank you!!!!

Jeff R.

Yelp
Outstanding farm to table Italian food. The chicken parm was the best my wife has ever had. It's unique because it's made with dark meat instead of the traditional white meat, and the dark meat brings more flavor. The Rigatoni Alla Nocina is a fantastic sausage cream sauce with pasta and fresh grated cheese. The meatballs are very good and the table salad was shockingly good. Terrific service and a very rustic home style vibe to the dining room. All around great experience. Thank you.

Yelp
Went here again. Great place. I went with a friend and tried the Ramen this time - garlic chicken - and it was so delicious. Had mint chocolate chip gelato as well. Very good. The servers are kind and sweet. The place was reserved but they let us have a corner and we had a great time. Definitely a hidden gem in Sullivan county.

Yelp
The lovely old farmhouse with charming simple decor, provided us a marvelous dinner!! 3 of us had reservations for 5:00 pm. Our table was waiting. We started with 2 appetizers, A portobello mushroom flatbread and a plate of Clams with spinach. Both were hot and delicious! For dinner one of us had Rigatoni all'Amatriciana a rigatoni with crispy pork, another had wild bore ragu, and the third enjoyed Rigatoni alla Norcina. All 3 were scrumpshis! for a side we shared a fabulous plate of Broccoli Rabe. We ended with 1 piece of rainbow cake and two slices of Limoncello cake that melted in your mouth. The waitress was friendly and attentive and the Chef/ Owner came out and visited our table. We were delighted to tell him how wonderful everything had been for our dinner.

Yelp
This is the best Italian in Roscoe. Always a favorite and the people who work there are so great food is fresh and delicious. Can't wait to go back.

Irochka D.

Yelp
Coming here feels like coming home to a family, that's how good everything is and how well they take care of you. We come to the area once a year and this is one of the two favorite places for our family, but especially, for my 14-year-old who has fine taste buds and appreciates a good meal. We smartly made reservation for 5 PM on Thursday because even though it's a weekday evening, the place was almost filled when we arrived. We ordered our favorite started, the garlic lovers' bread, followed by Calabrian Shrimp scampi and oxtail ragu. Both dishes were wiped clean. A special treat was meeting the chef as we were walking to our car. I peeked through the window in the kitchen, and as busy as Bob was, he took a few moments to speak with us as I was profusely gushing about the food and the service. This is a true family place with Bob being a one-man show in the kitchen, keeping it simple with fresh and local ingredients, and then his wife, with her sister and mom, tending to the front of the house. I am dreaming of coming back here again.

Yelp
I love Northern Farmhouse Pasta.Their food, ambiance, and service is impeccable.I always call a week ahead to make a reservation due to their small dining area. I always order the chicken parmigiana with their in-house pasta and it never disappoints.Nana's meatballs are so delicious and their prices are not too expensive.I usually get three dinners out of a meal which is worth it for me.

Spanky S.

Yelp
What a delightful little gem in Roscoe. Great vibe in the place. Amazing food and service. Everything we tried on their extensive menu was delicious. Will most certainly return.

Eric S.

Yelp
Nice little restaurant but wife and I were not feeling the food or vibe. Wife ordered pollo alla vodka, they use chicken thighs with the skin on, which was like chewing on rubber bands and sauce was bland. I ordered the Calabrian scampi which had good heat but no garlic/ butter/wine taste whatsoever. Cast iron clam app was disappointing and the arancini ball was so bland. Rainbow cake dessert was dry and stale. Food definitely looked better than it tasted. Reggae music was so loud where we were sitting I couldn't even have conversation at our table without yelling. Pros- Waitress was attentive and friendly, bathroom was clean.

Robert S.

Yelp
Great experience a must in the Roscoe area. The food is excellent and Chef Bob is very creative in his presentations..

Sharon S.

Yelp
If you ever drive through, stay or stop in/near Roscoe, stop here! Started as a pasta shop, has been a restaurant for a few hands. We ordered a bunch of things to try: Mama's meatballs - 8, in a delish sauce. Yum! Def get this. In fact, get everything. Chicken parm - big servings. Delish. Cutlet is cut up. Son loved this! Bolognese - yum. HUGE PORTION! Ravioli. The smoke flavor was delightful. They had the most amazing chocolate flourless cake with almonds. 1 piece was enough for three. It's like a brownie on crack. Def have this. Oh, you can buy dried homemade pasta and homemade sauce a s homemade dessert. Everything is farm to table. You MUST come here. They have take out too. And outside seating.

Freddy P.

Yelp
I cannot express how thankful I am to find this hidden gem in the Catskills area! I love the simple homey decor. It's rustic and it has that welcoming feeling as soon as you come in. It's almost like coming in to someone's home. The food was amazing and huge portions! I highly recommend this place!!

Yelp
Came across Northern Farmhouse Pasta during the Labor Day weekend and it was one of the best choice of the day. Me and my fiancé was looking to full our bellies up before going hiking. It's a small restaurant with both indoor and outdoor dining. Luckily we came at the afternoon before they got busy. The waitress was wonderful! We ordered the cast iron baked clams parmigiana as the appetizer, it was very unique. I did like the cheesiness with the bread crumbs, it was a good combination. I ordered the Clams Vino Bianco as my entree I never had tagliatelle pasta but I ended up loving it. Everything went so well with each other. The chef/owner came out to check if everything was okay. Great home made pasta! And friendly waitress and boss. I would definitely come back the next time I return to Catskills.

Alice N.

Yelp
Chef Bob! After a long ride from NYC we finally made it to the Catskills and needed to eat ASAP. We ordered garlic flatbread, wild mushroom pasta with a light cream and white wine sauce, wild boar ragu pasta, and limoncello cake. Garlic Flatbread: I personally would like it with a little less garlic and for the garlic to be softer but my husband loved it. If you love garlic this is it for you. The flatbread is topped with fresh tomato sauce and mozzarella cheese. Mushroom pasta: Light and earthy with a beautiful white sauce incorporated between the fresh made pasta. It was just lovely. I think if a little crushed pepper flakes were folded in would be nice as well. Wild boar ragu: It's like a hug from grandma. Thank you Chef Bob. Limoncello cake: There is no need to think about it. Just get it with a cup of coffee. It's a perfect ending. The cake is light and fluffy with a tangy and perfectly sweet lemon buttercream. Sorry no photo of this!

Yelp
I have passed this restaurant often while visiting my son but never stopped to eat. What a shame! I could have been enjoying this place for the past two years. Everything was fresh, made to order and DELICIOUS! The staff was wonderful and super helpful when I asked for help ordering. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Colette H.

Yelp
This place was okay. I actually wasn't that impressed. After reading the reviews (and seeing the pictures of the entrees), I was excited to try it. I'm in the area a lot and had been wanting to eat here for awhile. The first couple times I tried to go here I didn't have reservations, the dining room wasn't that full and they told me that I couldn't be seated. The other time I tried to come here for dinner, they closed early. Finally, I was able to try this place on my third stop here. (I made reservations!) I wasn't impressed by the food. I thought it was bland and the chicken parm didn't even come with pasta. So strange? It was just a bowl of chicken and cheese. For being a "pasta house," I thought this was super bizarre. I love farm to table restaurants (and pasta!) but wasn't satisfied by this meal at all. I probably wouldn't be back. I give this place 3 stars for the ambiance and environment.

Debra K.

Yelp
Food is awesome! Ambiance is awesome! They also support local farmers and really put love into everything they make! Well done!

Jennifer S.

Yelp
Enjoy a meal full of freshness at Northern Farmhouse Pasta! We started with their mushroom flatbread. The bread was house made and right out of the oven and loaded with fresh veggies, a house made tomato sauce... so good! For my entrée, I devoured the carbonara... yum, yum! To close off the already fantastic night, I ordered their rainbow cake. It was divine! The service was super friendly and the atmosphere rustic. Be sure to make a reservation in advance.

Yi X.

Yelp
High quality home-made pastas topped with local ingredients, open a few special days of the week. We made a pit stop here en route back to New York and were incredibly impressed by the excellent service and balanced flavors. From a true-to-its-name aggressive garlic lovers flatbread to creamy mushroom bucatini, we loved everything we got (which also held up great as leftovers the next day.) The steady stream of diners was certainly a testament to Northern Farmhouse Pasta's great hospitality. Glad we called ahead!

Heather W.

Yelp
Ok - so this place never lets me down with their food - at my first visit, I got meatballs in sauce as a "test" (what I do for most Italian restaurants). The sauce was fresh and the meatballs were amazing. I also got the garlic bread - and it reminded me of the amazing garlic bread from Manero's in CT. Manero's was where I wanted to go every year for my birthday dinner growing up. I never thought that I would find garlic bread as good as Maneros... until I had this garlic bread WOW!!! Since then I have tried multiple dishes and have never been disappointed. Their food is fresh, local and obviously made with love. Just had the bolognese which was incredible - this place is a "must" if you like amazing food in a relaxed environment. Love the outdoor porch to eat - but make reservations early because they usually got fully booked for dinner. I do takeout often from them and just as good as when I eat there. Portions are perfect -- read the menu carefully and order the pasta side when getting dishes like the chicken parmigiana. This would be my only criticism - just include the pasta with the main dishes where pasta would be expected. Love love this place - and take home the unique and seasonal pasta creations for a treat on a night when they aren't open. I also get the tomato sauce to take home to pair with the dried homemade pasta that I buy for future treats at home.

Doc M.

Yelp
Good food. Good and timely service. Farmhouse ambiance. Our order was correct and timely. Made a reservation the day before and was seated immediately upon arriving on time. Definitely recommend.

Martha L.

Yelp
Absolutely love this restaurant. The pasta is so good and fresh the service is wonderful and the restaurant has such a nice cozy vibe to it.

Salima M.

Yelp
So after watching a video on TikTok about this place I decided to take a 2.5 hr drive from Queens to Roscoe, NY. The service is pretty good and cordial. We ordered the linguine with scallops and spinach which was delectable. Just the perfect amount of fish flavors that emboldened the spinach and pasta. The gnocchi was perfectly cooked to absorb the seasoning of the tomato sauce it was made in while the cheese on top added an extra touch. I really wanted to try some of the dishes posted here on yelp but they were not on the menu. I guess they serve seasonal menus since they are farm to table. My only gripe would be their garlic bread. It really didn't impress not in flavor not texture and crunch (But that's my opinion - u may love it). I wouldn't spend $9 on it again. Now, you ask if the pasta was was worth trip?? Ummm yes and no. Now why would I not go back after so much praising? Seriously people would you really drive almost 3 hours for pasta??? I mean once to try is fine but frequently? I don't think so. If you are around Roscoe or visiting any neighborhoods near it, definitely go and try them out.

Larry D.

Yelp
Very friendly staff and nice touch with chef visiting us. Ox Tail dish , chicken parm , calamari appetizer and house salad all wonderful.

Linda M.

Yelp
Loved the food!!! Perfect for a fall evening...small but cozy restaurant, no rushing to have you leave

Nicole D.

Yelp
Stumbled across this place with my bf on a camping trip. GLAD WE DID! The fresh homemade pasta was out of this world! The oxtail ragu reminded me of sunday sauce when I was a kid. The rigatoni a la norcina was creamy and savory with so much flavor. The sausage comes from a local farm and there were a few other ingredients on the menu that came from local spots as well. We can't wait to go back and try other menu items. The waitress was so friendly and accommodating. The chef came out to check on us and we chatted for a little about his passion for pasta. He had a great story and answered all our questions about the food/restaurant. The music created such a great vibe. The experience overall was an unexpected and unforgettable one. This place is a hidden gem. You must make a stop here!

Gab G.

Yelp
This place is still killing it! They're now open Thursday-Sundays, and we were able to sit outside for brunch in late September. Meatballs and wild boar ragu were still great, and I loved the eggplant parmigiana. Also grabbed a few bags of pasta to make at home.

Uadajane K.

Yelp
This little restaurant is a hidden gem in the Catskills. Our first time visit was enjoyed by all in our party. Entrees we're delicious as well as desserts. Plenty in a serving for a second day lunch. You won't be disappointed but be sure you make a reservation. Can't wait to go back.

Sheila H.

Yelp
Food was just okay! Waitress was a little edgy. Better places to eat in town. Although sitting outside in the summer was beautiful

Geoffrey N.

Yelp
What an amazing place. We stayed nearby and read so many good things about Northern Farmhouse Pasta and had to check it out. We ordered the Amalfi stew, eggplant parm, Nana's meatballs, basil ravioli, and pork belly ramen. Each item we had was memorable and you can taste how chef-owner Bobby cares about his craft. The Amalfi Seafood Stew and Pork Belly Ramen were my favorites. The stew has such a beautiful seafood-y taste with from the scallops, shrimp, and monkfish. It really reminded us of a seafood dish we had when we visited Amalfi! The Pork Belly Ramen...yes, this Italian style restaurant has ramen was surprisingly great! I was ready to tear the ramen apart since I'm such a ramen snob. The noodles he uses is his homemade italian style noodle. Normally, this is a big no-no but the Chef Bobby just makes it work. I love the fact that this is not a traditional Japanese Ramen where noodles have to be pulled and doused with alkaline water, blah blah. This ramen is his style and the best part of the ramen is the broth. The broth was full of flavor and not greasy/oily. Each sip taken was savored with an "ahh". We can't wait to visit again. I may even take the 2hr drive just to visit here again.

Jonathan F.

Yelp
So happy we randomly stopped into this place. We really had no expectations and were pleasantly surprised. Ordered the arancini and out came two beautiful, over-sized orbs with melting cheese inside. The tomato sauce was seasoned perfectly with just a tiny amount of heat. We had ramen and gnocchi for main courses. The ramen broth is a mix of chicken and beef and is so deliciously savory. I didn't try my partner's gnocchi but she was very pleased with it. All of the pasta is house made and sourced from nearby wheat farms which makes you appreciate their local-centric mission. The service was friendly and attentive and the whole experience truly felt like it couldn't have gone better. Hope to return soon!

crystal H.

Yelp
The place had a large party, so they weren't able to seat us inside. It was very chilly as we ate outside, but it was completely worth it. Eggplant flatbread and scallop & tomato were absolutely delicious. My daughter loved the meatballs and the side pasta with tomato sauce. We weren't a fan of the Napoli one with sardines -- it was a bit sour (we're not big on sour). Definitely would return if we are in the area again.

Dawn E.

Yelp
Such a great find and perfect addition to our little Catskills getaway!!! Bob the owner of @Northern Farmhouse Pasta is warm, friendly and everyone who walks in seems so excited by his presence. I learned so much about the Rockaways, NY... (ask about the old photos on the wall) ... sharing so much lost history of my hometown! BACK to the FOOD: Amazing Italian restaurant that intertwines the flavors and cooking styles from Bob's diverse cultural journeys! Unique and Delicious!!! Make reservations as this place gets busy for dinner!

Lionel W.

Yelp
Absolutely delicious!!!! one of the best pasta spots in New York hands down!!!!!!! Food is amazing!!! The service is outstanding!!! If you haven't been here you're doing yourself a disservice trust me!!!

Mark M.

Yelp
Have been twice now. Have tried the cast iron baked clams, Nonna's meatballs, and chopped salad off the starter menu, wonderful. My two diners have been the Amalfi coast fish stew and the "anchovies of summer" pasta dish. Both were excellent, but the anchovy dish is one I'd like to try again. Soon! And the house made whole wheat pastas are wonderful. Nice, friendly, and helpful service, and fairly priced wine. What's not to like?!

Brianna C.

Yelp
An absolute must if you are staying or passing through town. I was blown away by the arancini & tagliatelle bolognese. I met the owner later on at a bar in town, he was very kind and appreciative of the business.

Heather W.

Yelp
Ok - so this place never lets me down with their food. I have "test" for Italian restaurants which is to try --. meatballs in sauce, bread and a side of pasta. I just think that these are staples and show the true character of a restaurant. The sauce was fresh and the meatballs were amazing. I also got the garlic bread - and it reminded me of the amazing garlic bread from Manero's in CT. The garlic bread from Maneros was why I wanted to go here for my birthday dinner -- and we always took Home a couple of loaves I never thought that I would garlic bread as good as Maneros... until I had this garlic bread WOW!!! Since then I have tried multiple dishes and have never been disappointed. Their food is fresh, local and obviously made with love. Just finished the bolognese which, unsurprisingly was spectacular plus we shared garlic bread and Nana's meatballs which we get on every visit. This restaurant is a "must" if you like amazing food in a relaxed environment. Love the outdoor porch to eat - but make reservations early because they usually got fully booked for dinner. I do takeout often from them and that is just as good as when I eat there. I also get the tomato sauce to take home to help tide me over until I can visit again... so delicious.

Yelp
Fantastic food. Chef Bob is incredible. The fish stew is an absolute must. Prices are Great as is the atmosphere. Fantastic Food in the Catskills. Couldn't recommend this place any more strongly.

Kelly W.

Yelp
I've been to Northern Farmhouse Pasta 3 times for dinner in the last 6-ish months and have been blown away each time. I've gotten the squid ink pasta with scallops, the winter lamb, and the eggplant parm as mains and all have been delicious - scallops cooked perfectly. The winter lamb has a light hint of mint, I wasn't sure about the mint when I ordered it but so happy I did because the mint is actually really nice in the meal. Do yourself a favor and get the cast iron baked clams app, they are so good! The chef/owner is creative with his menu and prices for the size of meals(which you could easily share or take home for another meal) are low. Oh and did I mention the fresh pasta is to die for? While the restaurant itself is small, they do their best to accommodate everyone. Other patrons are friendly too - the last time I was there a party of 2 offered up their larger table so my party of 3 could sit more comfortably. They happened to see us and just offered, so nice of them and goes to show how people in the area are super friendly! If you have a large party, recommend that you call and make a reservation just in case it happens to be a busy day for them.

Marissa S.

Yelp
Charming. Quaint. Beautifully decorated and the food.... Stellar. The service is amazing, like you're old friends coming for dinner. Every dish is generous and omg, SO tasty!!! Delicious. Some are light and some are savory but everything is simply amazing. The ingredients are all fresh and Bob does all of the cooking. If you're close by (within an hour) it's absolutely worth the drive to visit. The meatballs are a must. The ramen is so delicious. The alla vodka is the best.... Oxtail ragu . And the Lemoncello cake is to die for. Reservations are suggested.

Yelp
An amazing restaurant with Michelin Star level food, Chef who has his passion and love of food baked into every morsel you put in your mouth! We purchased a home in Roscoe and after the long, stressful, check writing extravaganza as well exciting day, decided to celebrate our first night in town at Northern Farmhouse Pasta. One of best decisions of the entire home buying process!! The waitress (sorry forgot her name) greeted us and sat us immediately for our 7pm reservation. The bread, wine (byob) and water began flowing immediately. We knew we were in the right place from the get-go. The decor is laid back upstate NY with a market/restaurant vibe just as I imagined Chef Bob planned it to be. The menu is not overwhelming but has many wonderful options from appetizers to dessert. You can tell that a good deal of creativity flows through the veins of this wonderful Chef. For our starter we chose Bob's version of baked clams. Whole clams baked in a delicious sauce and topped with loads of melted mozzarella cheese, bravo!!!! Garlic bread and salad next up. The salad was lightly dressed and had really, really fresh local ingredients (see picture for yourself you can taste it from the picture)! Love that I'm eating fresh locally picked produce and it kind of ruined salad for me as anything less is garbage! The garlic bread was just the right amount of toasty and garlicky. For mains, it had to be pasta! My dish was a pasta Bolognese. Pork and beef swimming in a wonderful sauce amongst the perfect al dente pas. This is lick your fingers, sop up with bread and food coma sauce/pasta. My wife had his amazing clams and pasta!!! We polished off two beautiful bottles of byob wine (one compliments of our broker Travis Odell who you must use if your looking to purchase in the Catskills) and of course couldn't resist a bit of dessert and cappuccino. In all, one amazing celebratory night with an outstanding chef's incredible food that will always be a great memory of our first night in Roscoe!!! Aug 10, 2018 Update Another amazing meal from Chef Bob!! Chicken Pharm like nobody else's!! If you haven't tried this restaurant, drive to Roscoe and eat there immediately (we'll Thurs - Sun) and you better call first to make sure there's a table for you cause it gets busy.
