Nosh, Seattle’s Fantastic Fish and Chips Food Truck, Has Closed - Eater Seattle

"Nosh food truck, known since 2013 for serving some of Seattle’s best fish and chips with a side of mushy peas, has ceased operations. But it seems the closure could be temporary, and there are hints a brick-and-mortar restaurant may be in the works." - Megan Hill

Nosh Review - Downtown - Seattle - The Infatuation

"Nosh is a food truck that needs to be in your downtown lunch rotation immediately. Well, as soon as Friday rolls around - because that’s the only day they stop in Westlake Park. Their food is a mix of different things, all of which are very good: think pub-style fish and chips with minted peas, buttermilk-fried confit rabbit, a fish sandwich with homemade tartar sauce and thyme-roasted tomatoes, and the true sleeper hit of this place - a caprese sandwich with prosciutto, basil aioli, and a balsamic glaze. Top your lunch off with a homemade raspberry mint Arnold Palmer for quite possibly the best meal you’ll ever eat from a Seattle food truck." - Aimee Rizzo

In all my visits to the UK, I haven’t tried out Fish & Chips, & I pick Seattle to have my first bite after hearing rave reviews on this place called Nosh. Well I have had my share of Fish and Chips back home in India, which is primarily made with Basa, not the one made out of a fresh Alaskan Cod right here in Seattle. We bumped into Nosh in the Fremont Sunday Market, alongside several other Food trucks. We went almost when the market was closing & had just one option on the menu, Fish & Chips, and that’s what we wanted. After a short wait, we were handed down this humongous piece of deep fried Alaskan cod & we started devouring it shortly after. The fish as such was so fresh, so beautiful & flaky with a nice thin batter, we all loved every bit of it. What I personally loved even more was the minty mushy peas, a slightly acidic, pickled flavour, peas that complimented the fresh fish, wonderfully. The chips were not very crispy and were in little excess oil like the fish, otherwise it was a beautiful meal on a even beautiful, sunny Sunday afternoon. This place is highly recommended & definitely lived up to its reputation of being famous. Looking forward to bump into them soon, sometime near Pioneer Square for lunch.

I'm a dick about Seafood in general ... Fish n Chips in particular. They are easy to make edible, bit insanely hard to make GREAT. Well, Nosh pulls off great! Closest thing to authentic UK chips with squishy peas available within a 1000 miles. Big piece of fish, perfectly battered and friend ... And good tartar which can't be underrated. Best I've had up to this point in my life

Best fish & chips in Seattle. I have only had them every time they are at Chuck’s hop shop Greenwood. I have had a lot of disappointing fish & chips in Seattle. This is a truly delicious beer batter and great fish.

The best fish and chips I've ever had. UNREAL. I try fish & chips every single restaurant I go to, and nothing rivals Nosh. Also tried the fried rabbit, which was excellent as well.

The fish was absolutely amazing. The fries were tasty. I didn't care for the mint mashed peas. The fish was perfectly cooked, crumbly and super tasty.

I am extremely disappointed in you Nosh Truck. Your website said that you would be at the Des Moines Farmers Market today. I have been hearing how good your fish and chips and your bone marrow is....and took the day off today just to go have some. We looked all around for the truck but could not find it. I asked someone who works for the Market where the truck was and she said you just decided to go to a different Farmers Market today, without notifying them. Shame on you...your website says the next time in Des Moines is Sept. 9th That is my birthday and I don't know if i will bother to try again....the last thing I want is to be disappointed on my birthday.
