The customer service was terrific. If I could rate it off of that alone, it would be five stars. The food for me was just okay. I ordered ahead of time because I really didn't have a choice. When I arrived, I was informed I'd get a text when my food was ready. There were two tables with four chairs, so my husband and I decided to eat there once we received our food. I ordered the burger, birria tacos, empanada, loaded tots, and a margarita. My burger was okay, but $13 for the bun to be hard in certain spots, and for that price, I prefer Burger King Impossible Burger over this burger. The empanada was amazing. Hot, fresh, flavorful, and probably the best thing from the order, but I'll pay another $7. I thought I was ordering the loaded nacho fries but was confused with the order process when I saw an additional $3 for fries and nothing for tots. I assumed that the title states loaded nacho fries, that fries were included, and that tots were on the side if selected. Anywho, I received the loaded tots with everything on the side, which was fine, but the tots were cold. It was not worth $15, and my husband trashed it, but I was told to try the fries. Lastly, I tried the birria tacos. The dipping sauce had no flavor or taste and was very greasy. The taco wasn't horrible, but the vegan meat substitute was chewy and dry. I would retry this place, but I would have to be cautious about what I order.

Nuno’s has the largest vegan protein options and so many different foods. The vegan fish tacos and vegan chicken sandwiches are amazing! Everything is delicious, but these two dishes stand out because I haven’t seen them anywhere else in Dallas. It’s a take-out place, so ordering ahead is a good idea—you get a text message when your order is ready to pick up from the window. Definitely visit them whether you’re vegan or not!

I started with the BBQ taco, served on 2 flour tortillas, and was comprised of everything you might find on a plate of brisket with sides and pickles !! Very tasty and a nice portion ! I also tried the enchiladas mole with jackfruit which were unfortunately somewhat dry. The flavour of the mole though was wonderful. It was served with rice and refried beans (which were a little bland). Overall a great vegan meal though.

The first time I came to Nuno's was Thursday! found out it was takeout only, and you order online; so cool ordered and waited in my car! It was definitely worth the wait! My favorite dish is the pozole it was so good that I came back the next day to get more as well, I tried some empanadas that were delicious ! My husband had the american cheeseburger with fries and chikn tenders! Didn't take a picture of that! But the presentation was good. Totally recommend! I'm glad I found a 100% vegan place that is actually good!

This is NOT a restaurant. This is a TAKEOUT-ONLY establishment, with no seating or table service available. Orders must be placed in advance using a smartphone, which may be a barrier for some. Despite these requirements, we managed to order a sampling of their offerings. We are writing this review after two separate visits to the establishment. The dishes were well-made and presented, and the vegan substitutions for familiar Tex-Mex flavors were mostly satisfying. However, we were less pleased with the significant amount of fatty oil present in each dish. While vegan cuisine has the potential to be remarkably healthy, we couldn't attest to the health qualities of these particular dishes. We also read comments left by a person claiming to be the owner right here, on Google Maps. The tone and content of that interaction did not leave us confident that this person is a responsible business owner, and we wish him success in repairing his ways (if he is indeed the owner). We hope the next step for this restaurant will be to develop a range of dishes that are not only tasty and ethical but also genuinely healthy, benefiting both customers and the environment. Veganism is, after all, also beneficial for the environment. As ordinary consumers, we are not paid or compensated in any way for this review. We are always looking for reliable and transparent businesses and hope the owner will take this feedback into consideration.

Okay I think I’m obsessed!!! 🤭 I occasionally go vegan and whenever I do, it’s always so hard to find good vegan food! Not here, though their food is bomb! My favorite would probably be the Crunch bar, but I haven’t gotten into a miss yet!🥳 They’re faithfully GOOD & the pretty girl who works the window is so nice! 🫶🏾

No pretences place with very nice vegan food (whole menu is vegan). They can seat a few people if you call in advance. Ordered a chimichanga, which I ate after a very long time. Waitress/chef/manager was extremely nice!

10/10 would recommend! The Birria tacos are delicious! By far the best tacos I’ve had in the US! Their burgers are also great. Whatever you may be craving, they likely have it. Note: they’re only doing to go orders. Just keep that in mind. No dine in is available. Still great.

This might be my new favorite place to eat. I recently went plant-based and have been on the search for restaurants, so I was thrilled to find Nuno's was ten mins from where I live. The menu is MASSIVE, so it took me a while to decide on the krunchwrap. There are so many things I want to come back and try. The food was prepared pretty quickly and tasted amazing. This is a delivery/takeout spot only, which I didn't realize (with a couple small tables outside). Food is ordered online then picked up at their window. Staff was friendly when I arrived.

Everything on the menu at this place is amazing! And it's one of the few areas north of Dallas that serves oat-milk based soft serve ice cream. It's a big portion for only $2.50! Every time I go to this place, I try something new and fall in love. It's one of my favorite vegan places in all of Dallas. Highly recommend! FYI - it is a pick up only kind of place. There isn't any public seating.

The food was amazing! I am vegetarian and do not really enjoy the taste of "fake meat" but I enjoyed the jackfruit protein they included in their tacos and Crunchwrap. Food is very flavorful and spice. This is a ghost kitchen so you can order online or over the phone and pick up the food there.

Pick up/ take out only place - no inside seating or at least at the time we came. Tables right outside the front door. Pick up is at the side window. Delicious food! Husband and I came here on a Friday night on a whim and I am so glad we did! We ordered a lot and they were busy as it was close to closing time but the wait was worth it. Staff were very friendly/down to earth. They stated 'we are vegan head to toe' and you wouldn't know by the flavor of the food. We loved the birria tacos and consume, the 5 taco plate with beans and rice - the smoked protein was our fav, the bean and rice burrito (we added pico), and believe it or not the best item was the double cheeseburger. OMG - the burger was so good! It stole the show! The desert fruit Fresca was refreshing and sweet! Lots of exclamation points for this place so definitely recommending the visit. En

I absolutely enjoyed the food. I got two of the bistec rancheros, and one of the chipotle jackfruit, al pastor, and barbacoa tacos. The sauces on top of the tacos were delicious and the tortillas were a perfect texture. The empanada was okay but not my favorite part of the meal. The frozen margaritas were STRONG but good. The cashier was very sweet and attentive and the service was relatively quick. I wish they were open for dine-in but I'll still stop here again next time I'm in Dallas!

amazing food and value, this continues to be a favorite place for me to eat! this appeals to people not on a vegan diet as well: the "meat" is very well seasoned, and the sauces have lots of flavor (and heat!) I highly recommend the nuno's krunchwrap. i think the 5 count taco plate is a great option as well, but I do prefer flour tortillas instead of corn. service is fast; but keep in mind it is primarily a ghost kitchen, so limited outdoor seating.

While the food was good they do not have indoor seating. I picked up food, milkshake and dessert. The food was good but would have probably tasted better if had it fresh in house. Recommend eating on sight for best experience especially with tacos and milkshakes (they melt really fast) Service was okay.. as listed on their site the employees are handling multiple tasks at the same time so they are very to the point in questions you may have. You can only order online.

Let me repeat this is the best Vegan food I've ever had and that includes going to LA, Florida everywhere! The all American burger competes with slutty vegan, nicest guys in LA or any other burger place you got serving Vegan burgers! From a Mexican restaurant!! Oh and the nachos!

Nuno's is one of the best vegan food places in the DFW area. Whether you are seeking to add more plant based meals to your diet or you are a life long vegan this place is the place to go to get your vegan comfort food fix. Over the years that I have ordered take out from this place I have never had any issues with an order. The food has been consistently delicious, however, the service has been a bit spotty from time to time. Keep in mind that you will need to have a Toast account to order food from this location. I have never eaten in nor have I tried to eat in so my review is strictly based on their to go. They can be a bit slow at times, but I haven't had any major issues with extended wait times except when they are super busy during lunch time or close to a holiday. They are a very small restaurant and as a person who eats out a lot I have found longer wait times a norm for smaller niche restaurants. The taste of the food more than makes up for the occasional long wait time in my opinion. Some of the dishes I have tried are the Mexican Pizza's, the loaded nachos, quesadillas, and the loaded burritos. All were very delicious and filling! This place is my go to place for vegan Tex-Mex comfort food!

In my excitement to try my first vegan tex-mex restaurant, I yanked the door handle fully expecting it to open. It wasn't & Kendra opened the door & was nice in explaining that its online ordering & take-out only, since I didn't read the instructions (duh). Hubby ordered the torta, I ordered the street taco plate with nopales as my "protein". They were busy but our order was ready within a reasonable amount of time. I sampled the hubby's potato salad side & enjoyed it, even though I'm not a potato salad person. The corn taco wrapping was sturdy enough to hold the filling without it falling apart & I was able to enjoy the taste & texture of nopales without it being overwhelmed with other ingredients, like other places. The sauce had a bit of a kick to it, so I had to pace my tongue to cool down. Even though we dined at one of the outdoor tables with our to-go orders, Kendra still came out to check on us. Tex-mex places offering nopales are a bit hard to find & home prepping is tedious, so I'm glad I can come here & get my nopales fix. Next time: pistachio shake & I'll know to order online ahead of time *wink*

The food was soooooo delicious and they are so nice. I do wish it was a sit in restaurant, but we did order and sit at the little tables outside. We will definitely be back. The frozen margarita was really good. This is a must try.

Just learned they are connected to the OG El Palote! This is flawless vegan Mexican food! Chefs kiss! I got the fajita krunchwrap and a watermelon margarita! Amazing dish! The krunchwrap was packed with vegan fajita, veggies, mac n cheese, and a tostada to give it a crunch. The margarita was good but it was more margarita mix than alcohol. I will continue to come here for sure! Vegan for life!

My sister and I dined in for lunch. Our waitress was very sweet, and while it did take 20 minutes for the food to arrive, it was worth the wait. If you would like to dine in, at this time they are only accepting reservations through the OpenTable app. We ordered the captain krunchwrap ($15) and a custom burrito with beyond chicken (about $12). The burrito was good and filling but didn't have as much flavor, while the captain krunchwrap was quite flavorful. The tortilla was very sturdy and crispy, so it didn't fall apart at all and had a great texture. Would totally get it again!

Nuno's Tacos & Vegmex Grill I had to give this place another chance, after going there first time and finding out they only take one line orders to come pick up. I was a little discouraged but this being the time of year and the way things are going you got to give them another chance so I did Vegan Alert alert alert stop what you doing go place your order and enjoy some phenomenal food. I followed them on social media on Instagram and today I saw a picture of something I wanted to try which I put in my pictures. For the price you get your money's worth and the taste is phenomenal. I can't wait until I'm there again to try some new items on their menu.

Good, albeit I'm not sure I got what I ordered. Let's start with the Crunchwrap: It's not huge but it's for sure bigger than a Taco Bell Crunchwrap and very filling because it's dense, I only finished half and some fries. There was no cheese in the Mac and Cheese which was a shame. The Pico de Gallo is super fresh and better than most places. Though strangely enough I ordered Al Pastor and it looked and tasted like I got Butter Chicken instead of Pork? Looking at other pictures of their Al Pastor, I definitely got something more saucy. I looked at the menu and it has nothing similar to Butter Chicken. The Crunchwrap was still good, though I was confused biting into it. Nunu Sauce: Kind of like Raising Canes sauce but tangier and less peppery. Good stuff. Fries: They're good, they taste like they're fried in clean oil and they have the extra batter for extra crunchiness. Only thing I would want from them is to be seasoned but that's just personal preference.

Took my family here for lunch on a Saturday. Some of the best food I've had, Vegan or otherwise! We got the Sliders (Al pastor, Fajita, Bbq Brisket and Beyond beef), the Captain Krunchwrap, The BBQ Chikn Sandwhich, fries and tots. Everything was hot, fresh and EXTREMELY flavorful! We have found a new favorite spot for sure!

This vegan Mexican is so delicious. The portions are just right. I love that they have so many different options of food.

I need everybody to RUN not walk to NuNo's and get anything off of their menu. I just had this place for the first time and when I tell you that the food is so delicious , I inhaled it so fast that I couldn't even get a picture for this review. I got the chicken sandwich with fries which was so crispy and delicious, I couldn't even tell that it wasn't real chicken. I also got one of their fishless tacos and again couldn't even tell that I was not eating fried cod or tilapia or whatever fish is used in regular fish tacos. I definitely encourage vegans and non vegans alike to stop in and try something from their menu. I guarantee you would like it. I will be going back as soon as possible to grab another item from their menu because it was just that great! ***Update: I order again the next day and got the fish less quesadilla and a side of Mac and cheese. Oh man! TikTok made me do it and This place did not disappoint. I'm not vegan, but was definitely interested. You have to order online. No dine in. Food was ready pretty quick (about 20-30min). Came in a biodegradable container, which I super appreciate. Very good.

I have been coming here for years and it's amazing every time. the food is so amazing and the menu is so big so there is so many options for whatever mood you are in! Kendra is so sweet and takes care of everyone. The vibe here is so loving and kind. I'd give them all my money. The best vegan food in DFW.

The only bad thing about this place is it is pick up only, but I can get that. Other than that, it seems impossible that the cuisine is vegan! Great food for anyone, not just vegans. I would recommend to anyone.

Obsessed with the hibiscus barbacoa! I love that this restaurant clearly marks what options are soy free and gluten free, and everything is vegan. Their tacos are seriously AMAZING! And you can order a variety of types on one plate, which is fun. I ordered the pozole too, which I'm excited to try tomorrow. It's fun the menu switches depending on the day too. Can't wait to get back to try more of their bbq options and get the hibiscus barbacoa again. This is a takeout/delivery type restaurant, so I cannot speak on the ambiance. However, the service was quick and got everything on my order correct. 5/5, must try!!

So glad to find this gem! I'm in town for work and hoping to find something, anything, to eat on a delivery app. Along comes Nuno's with one of the best menus ever, and quality to match. Got the mole enchiladas w/bistec and birria torta. Wow! Each was better then the next. Gonna order from here every night I'm in Dallas. Thank you for the great food!

I got to try these tacos at Vegandale this weekend and they were SO delicious! I'm looking forward to trying more of their food.

It's only for pick up but the manager was so nice and welcoming so she let us to dine in. I'm gonna start that the place is very clean! Definitely felt safe to eat in this place! The food is unbelievable! If you wanna try vegan food first time without feeling "missing" meat.. this is the place ! I tried to burrito options and it was delicious! Definitely will back there!

Hello Linda's, Let me start off by saying that it was due to good reviews from people that I know, which prompted me to check this place out. The staff here let's you know right away that you can't have it your way even if you have a food allergy. You can only remove what they allow from their food. Due to a food allergies I couldn't eat the special sauce & you can't just get plain vegan Mayo. Since, I can't blame it on boogie the lack of sauce will do. When I returned to the office I added some Mayo & mustard to it. Linda's, let me tell you how all the sauce in the world couldn't fix this sandwich. It was the densest, driest, blandest sandwich that I've ever had. I ended up throwing it away it was so much terrible. Since, this is your girl I'm going to share the good, because I look for the good in everything. The mac & cheese was the move & saving grace of my lunch here. The fact that it wasn't s made with nuts helped a lot; especially if you have sensitives to nuts. I have no idea why this little weird spork has a stronghold on vegan restaurants. I hate using it, but when in Rome you make it do it what it does! Perhaps maybe the other items on the menu taste better, so I'd be open to giving this place another shot.

Get one of everything and save some room for their soft serve! I literally don't know where to start. Is it okay if I just go off on a Kerouac trip? Cheeseburger - big, juicy, salty, savory, soft bun, perfect patty, crinkle cut fries - where have you been all my life? Steak tacos - yum! Cool, crisp, iceberg lettuce, fresh pico, generous steak portions. Soft serve - tower of creamy satisfaction with the oh, so crunch-tastic waffle cone. My only wish - more indoor seating. I'll be back. Thank you for making delicious vegan everything!

Absolutely best vegan tacos, but amazing compared to standard American diet (sad), too. Fortunately, even with a surprise group visit, everyone really showed their mettle and rose to the challenge - NOT a sloppy/rushed/shorted experience.

Really really good vegan Tex Mex! The refried black beans and rice are outstanding, and the torta is simply great (and very filling). Seating is very limited so be sure to make a reservation if dining in (they also do a lot of carry out service).

Great Vegan Street Tacos!! I got the al pastor 5ct street tacos and I was thoroughly impressed. The flavor was perfect with just enough heat! I like the option for pickled onions, gives it a nice touch. The prices are very reasonable. Will definitely recommend and return!

Wow. The food is delicious. The staff though -amazing. So incredibly kind. We showed up 9 minutes before closing- they close at 8 and not 9 on Fridays. Placed our order before I noticed the mistake. The staff member was so sweet to us and even offered to out the tables back outside so we can sit there- we were going to go home so there was no need. Even if the food wasn't as amazing as it is- I would go back just for the staff. Cannot wait to try more things from here.

Seems like the woman in front thinks people don't come here for the first time so I wasn't familiar w the different types of "meats" at first so I kinda had to just look it up instead of her being more helpful! But on Instagram you can DM them and he answers right away w any questions or suggestions you have! The food is amazing please support local Mexican restaurants!!!

Hands down - Texas has the best spot for vegan tacos! Bam Vegan actually recommended this place to me and WOW, I feel like I need these tacos in my life everyday. Too bad I live 2000 miles away! I highly recommend that you visit this spot when you are in the Dallas area.

Unfortunately, they're only doing takeout right now, but the food is really tasty. We'd definitely go back. We tried the Beyond Meat chicken fingers, the huitlacoche taco, the jackfruit taco, and the al pastor taco and they were all really tasty. A note: if you're not accustomed to spicy food, tell them to put the hot sauce on the side. The guacamole was also really great. The service was great, too.

Honestly, my favorite food in all of DFW! Love that you can make substitutions as well. Very nice menu and the shakes are to die for! My favorites are the sour cream enchiladas and pizzas. Thank you so much, Nuno's!

Yum, yum, yum!! I came here to try their food since I'm not eating meat at the moment and the pictures here made the food look really good. I came in and was greeted. The guy took my to-go order after I had a chance to review the menu. All of the meats are vegan. I ordered 2 corn tortilla tacos with shredded beef and 2 corn tortillas with steak + rice and beans. I waited maybe about 10 min for my food as everything is cooked to order. Those tacos were delicious. I just wish I'd gotten some of the hot sauce they had available at the restaurant. The rice and beans (mashed black beans) were good as well. Next time, I want to try the nachos or burrito. I didn't get them this time because I'm not eating flour tortillas at the moment...but when I do, I'll be back. I definitely recommend this place - good food.

Decided to try it again and you know what never F in again waited in my car 30 minutes past the pick up time was asked is this your phone number I said yes how long have my food been ready I never received a text ever. The girls at the front door are rude and they lock their clients customers inside isn't that a fire code. Never again I will tell all my clients as I am a hairstylist and they always asked me where to eat to avoid this place because it is not worth the hassle of being yelled at across the parking lot you will get a text when your food is ready and then nobody text you and you wasted 30 minutes in the parking lot with the Aceon waiting for your food now driving home it will probably be cold as well as probably have some spit or whatever they did to my food in it pretty sure this place is trash TRASH avoid it! ANOTHER THING!- when I got home by food was cold as well I paid extra for different sides to my entree, AND GUESS WHAT, I didn't receive the sides I uPgraded and paid more $$$$ for , they just gave me rice and beans! I just realized this after I called them to talk to a manager and left a vm! I need a refund , how on earth after a long time of waiting can still Not Get Anything right?! Worse 2 experiences with this place. Will be blowing them up for refund. I read that what I experienced does happen to others, I expected WAY MORE FROM THIS ESTABLISHMENT BASED ON THEIR REVIEWS, this is a total let down and also going to info about that fire violation locking the doors during open hours, with customers inside dining, this place is skeezy and not The best, I never have experience such especially after living in sf, la, and nyc. The Worst!

SO good!!! My only negative is that it's takeout only which can be inconvenient. I love everything I've tried, as did my friends who were skeptical when I said vegan.

So this was my first time getting to eat here because they've typically had such a LONG wait any other time I've tried to come. I'm not sure if it's the neighborhood but the whole locked door situation is a little strange. There are a couple of tables inside but it's hard to tell if they're available until someone unlocks the door to see what you want. The one open table inside was empty for a reservation which, again, seems weird but ok. There are 2 tables for 4 outside otherwise so you might want to be prepared to take your food to go in general. Ordering is done via QR code which is fine, but I wish some menu items had better descriptions. I ordered the chicken sandwich which was great! Although, when I added jalapeño, I thought it would be ON the sandwich instead of a whole jalapeño on the side so that was a waste. I also ordered a side of magic sauce even though there wasn't a description of what it was. Is it supposed to be like a homey mustard or did I just dip my chicken sandwich in a sweet brunch-y sauce? I also had the strawberry lemonade & it was delish! Overall, the food is really good and the service was friendly & prompt. I do hope to come back here but I'll definitely keep the aforementioned items in mind.

Overall was good food but could've been better. Quesadillas were good and flavorful. Tried the prickly pear margarita since I haven't seen any prickly pear flavoring since moving to Texas and was very disappointed. The flavoring tasted disgusting and nothing like prickly pear. Maybe I'll order from here again, but I was expecting better for the price being charged.

A true hidden gem! Our definite go to spot for truly authentic vegan Mexican food. We've done delivery through Uber eats and take away both times the food has been spot on. The loaded jackfruit burrito is where its at. Full of flavor in every bite! The guacamole was delicious and had such a creaminess with every eat. Sunday's brunch in available until 3:00 Dine in is currently closed, options for enjoying this delicious place are take away and delivery. This place is 100% Vegan with the take away items being eco friendly and biodegradable. Truly a win all around with this place.

Vegan Mexican food?! Yes I would love to try some. This food was delicious with the consistency of meat but not actually being meat. They're currently only doing takeout. I called on a Friday around 6pm. I ordered myself the fajita 'steak' burrito, my sister got the 'ground beef' chimi, and we got an order of guacamole to share. It took about 45 minutes and when I picked it up, it smelled so good. I couldn't wait to eat. My burrito was wrapped in foil but it was chunky and stuffed. There was plenty of 'meat' and rice in my burrito and it was very tasty. Like you couldn't even tell it wasn't real meat, the consistency was that good. My sister's chimi came with rice and beans and the 'cheese' sauce on the side. The beans weren't warm and something about the consistency was off. The rice was good. That 'cheese' sauce tasted like cheese. Very flavorful with a little heat. The chimi was good delicious as well. The 'cheese' sauce paired well with both my burrito and her chimi but I preferred the burrito over the chimi. The guacamole wasn't impressive. It had a lil too much salt and acidity. The chips seemed to be housemade but they were too thick for our liking. Overall I thoroughly enjoyed and will definitely be back.

Absolutely delicious!! Couldn't tell it was vegan meat! I ordered the nachos with chorizo and I love how they separated the chips from the everything else so it doesn't get soggy!!! The chipotle jackfruit tacos and al pastor were tasty as well. I ordered not spicy but it still had a little kick to it!! Even my non-vegan friends were surprised at how good vegan food tasted!
