NY Pie (Nashville West)

Would rate 10 stars if I could! Honestly the best pizza I’ve ever had. I got half NY cheese and half margherita and it was so delicious and full of flavor. Fast, friendly service and chill atmosphere with great music! Absolutely recommend!

The pizza was delicious! It’s a very small restaurant on the inside, not really enough room to move around if there’s a line waiting to order. However, the pizza is worth the hassle. My friends and I sat outside, just so that we didn’t feel so crammed. And they brought the pizza to us, which was unexpected! I would’ve thought I would’ve had to go back up to get it… But The service was appreciated! My only complaint was that when we were sitting outside, putting up the umbrellas was incredibly difficult. I tried multiple times to do it on my own, and it just wasn’t working. It was hot enough of a day that it would’ve been nice to have some shade. Also, there were no napkins outside so to get napkins, we had to go inside and take them off of another table… But that was hard since most of the tables had people sitting at them. So I just waited until people moved, and then I took a handful of napkins from their table, but left the dispenser inside. But I love that there’s plenty of parking because of where it was located! Super easy to get in and out! And the people working, they were really nice! But again, the pizza was delicious. I’ll definitely be going back.

TLDR: Delicious, authentic taste of NY pizza. I found my new favorite spot. I grew up in NJ and always have had a hard time finding pizza even close to as good since moving away. Tried this place on a whim and was blown away. The crust is perfect. Crispy but also soft inside. The sauce and cheese were great too. They sell whole pies as well as a bunch of different kinds by the slice. The employees were friendly. It was a Saturday night and very busy with lots of orders. But even with a wait it was definitely worth it. My new favorite pizza place. Thanks!

Pizza slice was ..not bad But,the garlic knots 🫣those I am sure was missing something..those don't have butter,garlic or Parmesan was just the bread ...and then the power go off 🙀📴

This is the first time trying this joint, and it didn't dissapoint! ( see what I did there?) Seriously, though, go there. It's authentic and delish.

Everyone was so nice, and the food was super fresh and tasty!!! Legit, y’all! Highly recommend. I am lactose intolerant, so certain cheese and milk products will upset my stomach. Tho they don’t have dairy-free cheese, the folks working were more than happy to accommodate with replacing the mozzarella/ricotta on the calzone with Swiss (which I can eat because it’s an aged cheese). It was perfect. 🤩 Though fair warning, I got the small and it’s a whopper! You get your money’s worth, that’s for sure. My husband got a couple slices of pepperoni and they were also big and I’m told delicious! 🍕 Both of our meals came out HOT… like melt-the-fork-while-cutting-the-calzone hot. Which is amazing, not going to lie. Oh, and get the garlic knots, you won’t regret it.

OMG, love this pizza. The guys were awesome, the pizza was new york. Ooooh cheese grease.....they make the pies in front of you too. Very busy place with mostly carry outs. There's outside seating also. Definitely a place to go back to.

Pizza is always good. Garlic knots is a hit or miss. Some be a little hard and over cooked and some be just right. That have a nice taste to them. I got the wings for the first time and they need to be cooked a little harder. Skin is way too chewy no crunch to them.

Can't remember the last time I had pizza and legit NY Pizza ... it's been years. I saw someone try this pizza joint on Tik Tok and it looked like the real think so I was like I gotta try this. So while running errands I ventured over to #nypienashville @nypienashville First off like the NY Pizzerias they sell #slices they had 10 different #pizzas to chose from I figured I would try 4 to go for today and tomorrow. #pepperoni and #sausage the sausage is very tasty. Also one they call #grandmas I believe it is #margarita plain pepperoni and #pizzabianca white pizza. The #sauce is good. Pepperoni not too spicy. The #crust #thin #crispy. They had other varieties which I will need to try. I was told the #sarachi #chicken is a must try. Also they have #cannolis and #tiramisu and of course #nycheesecake Service was polite and helpful. The restaurant is inviting, clean but I could see it filling up very quickly. Looks like I got a new go to pizza parlor. Yum

I was recently bummed out just looking for pizza in Nashville until I discovered NY PIE! I ordered a huge XL NY style veggie and extra cheese pizza recently and had my hubby pick it up. It was so delicious and was enough to feed 10 haha! Service was quick, they def hooked us up with the extra cheese we requested. Love the location as well, it's clean and great for a dine in or take out:)

Pies are excellent, as are meatballs and their salads. Highly recommend!! They have never let us down.

We recently ordered delivery from NY Pie on Charlotte and were pretty impressed with their pizza! We got a half n half pepperoni and cheese NY style and it was loaded with cheese and perfectly foldable. We also got the garlic knots, which were just ok, but the marinara they were served with was fantastic! Will definitely eat here again!

I've been to this location (west) 1 time before and felt myself starting to get hangry so I needed something quick. The first time, I didn't care for the food. The second time, I can say I had a much better experience. I ordered 2 slices of pep, and they came out fresh just a few minutes after I ordered. I can only speak this truth: I will return to get pizza here again, but only for the cheese and pep slice. I don't trust a lot of pizzerias with anything but the basic slice. But this slice was great. My suggestion: dress it up with seasoning, parm, and crushed red pep. Bonus: customer service is 10/10. I walked in wearing a buffalo bills hat and the guy behind the counter wearing a 49ers hat put on the Bills shout song (IYKYK). A great guy, good experience, good food.

This is a pretty good to almost great pizza carryout spot. We were doing a monthly Costco run with the intent of grabbing a pepperoni pie from there to go only to discover their food court (as of January 2024) was out of commission (horrors!). So thanks to Yelp, I quickly discover we're 2 minutes away from NY Pie. I call them and order a large meat pizza and an order of garlic knots. Picked it up and it was ready right when they said it would be, got it home and feasted. There was enough left over for us to get another entire meal out of it and everything heated up perfectly in the oven. The slices are HUGE, NY style. Great crust, great toppings. Everything cooked well. The garlic knots are like giant rolls, and pretty good as well. Pricewise, we definitely spent more than we would have with the prices stuck 40 years ago menu from Costco, but the pizza is of much better quality. With tip, $40+ for all of the above. A loyalty program via your phone that seems cool. Friendly, funny service at the counter by folks who seem to like what they do. Not a top 5 Nashville pizza joint, but a better than solid one and I'll be back.

As a native New Yorker, I have been looking for pizza that's like home!! This place had surpassed my expectations! Authentic NYC pizza in Nashville! We've been here several times and will keep coming back! Great pizza, great service!!

Great correct proportioned Pizza Pies. Some places add too much sauce or cheese because they don't know any better, NY Pie does! This is the closest to my NY Bronx Pizza I grew up with.

My go to pizza in Nashville. Delicious slices and pies. The calzones are NY authentic. Filled with gooey deliciousness. I put this pizza against all the others. It is a genuine NY slice. Dough is crispy, sauce is tasty and the cheese perfect. I love the meat slice, so good. Make this your next pizza experience.

I grew up on NY and was a pizza afficionado from an early age. I've lived in TN for 31 years now, and other than Joey's or Manny's (both closed now), this is the closest to real NY pizza I've found. Thin crispy crust, folds perfectly, toppings not overdone, little bit of grease dripping off...excellent!

I had a late lunch here and was very hungry. I am not to familiar with New York style pizza, so I technically don't know how it is supposed to be. I wasn't overly impressed. When you walk in, the front counter has individual slices to buy. I ordered a small margarita pizza which took about 10 minutes to prepare. I engulfed it and ordered a slice of cheese pizza because I was still hungry. I compared the Margherita to the cheese pizza and each had their strong points. The margherita had that fresh basil coming through. The cheese pizza was much more savory with the cheese combination. The pizza sauce and dough was fair, but the whole experience was not enough to bring me back.

The Pizza is balm to the folks craving NY pizza! Friendly, helpful staff & a great slice of pizza. Certainly casual, but not as casual as eating a Slice on the street!

NY Pie makes decent pizzas at a rate that doesn't feel like you'll need to start slinging pies on the side to pay for the meals. All jokes aside, we primarily do pick-up for the variety of pizza options they serve here. I'm partial to more classic varieties like their margarita with buffalo mozzarella, but they have options that are more contemporary like sriracha chicken. Service in terms of a to-go stand point is pretty efficient. We can typically put in an order within an hour and pick it up on the way home. While we haven't dined in, my spouse often comments that it would be a perfect place to do a family dinner with our young one. Parking is ample in a quaint shopping strip, but there are bustling businesses nearby, so just be mindful when you decide to pull into the lot.

Being from Central New York, we've been searching the middle TN area for pizza that reminds us of our old stomping grounds. Well, we finally found it after 7 (!!) years here! A day trip to Nashville and a turn down a road we never hit before and when it came time for lunch, we did a quick search and this place was literally across the parking lot from us. If we lived closer, we'd be here all the time. We'll just have to settle for whenever we visit the area again (which may be more frequent now!!).

Don't get me wrong, the pizza is GREAT! I ordered through Uber and the box is not secured to deter tampering. In the age of food delivery, ensuring the food packaging is tamper resistant is quite important. This is easily accomplished by stickers securing the box that a customer can tell if it's been tampered with. Very uneasy with my food being easily accessible to the delivery driver (who I have NO issues with). The concern is around your customers' safety. I'll try again and hopefully this feedback will be taken into consideration.

I pre-ordered my pies @ 3:40 to be ready for pick up at 6:30. Was told no problem the pizzas would be ready at 6:30. My husband picked up 2 pizzas that were cold to the touch and the toppings already starting to dry out. We were very disappointed as were heard great things about the new pizza place in Franklin. Only way to try again is if we eat at the restaurant and get them pipping hot.

We went to NY Pie based on the reviews. I am a NY pizza snob and very critical of Nashville pizza. My favorites are Mannys (just closed shop) 5 Points and Two Boots. NY Pie tops them all. This is authentic and my new go to spot for pizza. Crunchy crust, tasty sauce and gooey cheese make this a delicious pie. What I also like is the oil dripping off the slice. I ordered a large pie with half pepperoni for my family. It was delicious. My new go to pizzeria

This place was disappointing. New York style pizza is my favorite and theirs was not good. I ordered online and picked up at the restaurant. Even my out of town guest from New Jersey didn't like the pizza and said it was nothing like they get up there. It was sloppy in the middle and burnt on the crust. I only wish I had opened the box and looked at the pizza before leaving because I would have had them make another. It was really unacceptable. The staff was friendly and it looked nice inside but the employee smoking out front was another turn off.

As a lifelong NYer, this is closest to the real thing I've found in Nashville. Maybe the only place with an actual sicilian pie!

Picked up our pies while driving through Nashville. So glad we stopped and for these. The cheese and the quality of the toppings were fantastic. Perfect cheese pull! Definitely coming back for more.

This is an underrated gem here in Nashville. NY Pie will make you feel like you're getting a slice straight from the Big Apple - or as close as you can get to actually being in NYC. I highly recommend their NY Meat pizza. Keep doing what you're doing guys!

Second time here. When we are in Nashville (and then we bring it home to Clarksville). Had every intention of trying a new place this time, you know, give someone else a try. Nope, hubby (lived in NY) says let's not bother, this pizza is fire. It was. Again. Yum. Period.

A colleague recommended this place for an authentic NY slice... did not disappoint! Enjoyed the chewy crust and tomato sauce, right Amount it cheese. Could have used a little oregano but otherwise really enjoyed my cheese slices. Also reasonably priced!!! A large pie will cost you $18!! Place was packed when I got there with tons of take out orders.. clearly folks already know about this place. Will definitely be back!

Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!! As a native New Yorker who's been in Nashville for 10 years, I'm so grateful that a fellow New Yorker brought me here. This is how I grew up on pizza. I was transported back to the days of non-pretentious slices of pizza, served in a causal atmosphere with signs reading "ravioli" on the wall. This pizza is as good as any slice in the Tri-State area. How about you guys open up a location in East Nashville? The only thing missing was Taylor Dayne or Stacey Q jams on the radio.

We had dinner at NY Pie last night and it could not have been better. The service was outstanding. The pizza was delicious and the crust cooked perfectly. The ambiance was nice...dim lights and the music not too loud. I would highly recommend NY Pie to anyone. I've never had a bad pizza from them!! Also, if you're a veteran, they give a discount!

Very solid pizza place which delivers to their name sake. I tried the Sicilian pie which absolutely met the standards of a classic thick crust pizza of Thai style. The dough had a good chew with a firm texture on the bottom and a good crunch to the crust. Whole nothing was fancy per say, the prices were fair and the pizza was solid.

Believe the ratings, this is some seriously righteous pizza!!! Everything is high-end here. From the quality of their cheeses to the Italian sausage, the sauce, everything. The New York style thin crust is the star, though. One of the best pizzas I've ever had!!

This is my go-to pizza place in Nashville. They always have the pizza ready on time. The pizzas are just the right mixture of crunchy and gooey. I especially like the Greek pizza from NY Pie. The best part about this pizza shop to me is its consistency. I've tried other places like Michelangelo's and Desano which are hit or miss, one day you'll get a good pizza, the other day it's a soggy mess. At NY Pie you always get the same delicious pizza, freshly made. The people here are helpful and the service is fast. Ordering over the phone is easy. Great for pickup, but their seating area is fairly small. I definitely recommend this pizza place, it's the best one I've found so far in Nashville.

Ok, if anyone loves Sbarro's pizza at the mall, this is just like that but an upgrade. Me and my husband ordered twice in one week it was so good. Everything is on point and this is a hidden gem! My new favorite pizza place, sorry Jet's!

I didn't have great expectations. Before today, all my NY style pizza experiences were bland and lackluster. Not today. I had a Greek slice and Antipasto salad. Fantastic! Generous portions that were as tasty as they were visually appealing. Small dining area inside. Small patio outside. I'm really pleased we took a chance.

My husband got to talking with someone who raved about this place, so we decided to check it out. I also did a bit of research on their website to make sure this guy was on the right track, and from what I read this place seemed legit for NY style pizza. Right when you walk in you'll notice the guys spinning and hand tossing dough, with the brick oven in full view. While they had some pizzas by the slice there, I think your best bet is ordering a fresh pie. We ordered at the counter and sat on the patio. I LOVE patio seating. It instantly puts me in a good mood. We were told the garlic knots are the bees knees, but opted for a healthier alternative and had a pre pie antipasta salad. It was amazing and hearty! The creamy basil and oregano vinaigrette was killer. It's been a while since I enjoyed a salad out. Our pie did not disappoint! Crispy, thin and airy. The dough is true to the style you'd find in NY. In spite of this, it still was not neck and neck with what we've had in NY. While this may be one of the best pizza places in Nashville, I can't say it's just like the pizza in NY.

Great tasting pizza and good service. They have all the correct toppings: garlic powder and red pepper flakes. Good thin crust that's both crunchy and chewy. I'll definitely be back when I'm in town.

My daughter and I went to the new NY Pie in Franklin. it happened to be a soft opening so we were ready for some issues but we were told the pizza was worth it. First of all, there were no issues and the place was packed. Jessica the owner even took time to stop and talk to us. Quality!! Secondly, the pizza was absolutely amazing. We could not stop talking about how good it was. The large is huge and so good. If you are anywhere close to this new pizza in town, you have to go and you will not be disappointed.

Well after searching for a decent slice in my few years here in Tennessee, this has been the best to date. Good size, sauce has flavor, fairly priced and even the staff were friendly. Pretty busy but got my order in short wait. I'll be going back. Don't forget to tip even on takeout orders.
