Oc & Lau Restaurant

First time here, and it completely changed my impression of Vietnamese food. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared. The green mango salad was refreshing, the black pepper snails were rich and aromatic, and the pineapple smoothie served in a whole pineapple was a nice touch. Portions were generous, and for five people the value per person was excellent. Friendly service and a very enjoyable overall experience. Would definitely come back.

Hands down the best Vietnamese seafood spot in town! I’ve been here many times and have never had a bad dish—zero 'landmines' on the menu. The seafood is prepped so well; it’s incredibly clean with absolutely no sand. Also, don't sleep on their drinks and desserts! The pineapple and coconut smoothies are refreshing and delicious. Service is surprisingly fast too. They have two locations, and I’ve tried both—the quality and taste are consistently amazing at both spots. A must-visit every time I’m in LA!

First time here and definitely one of the best Vietnamese restaurants I ever been to in California. Everything is tasty and exactly how I like my Vietnamese food. Grew up in Vietnam and I can say this is even better than most restaurants in Vietnam. Staffs are great and no rude service like elsewhere. They even served dessert for free end of meal. Phở áp chảo is my favorite dish.

I had a great experience at Ốc & Lẩu in Garden Grove. Their sturgeon hot pot was especially delicious — rich, fresh, and full of flavor. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere felt warm and inviting. I really enjoyed my meal and hope to come back again soon. Definitely a spot worth trying if you love hot pot!

Our family travels to LA twice a year and this is one of our favourite spots. Sad to say, this place has lost its touch. We visited Oc & Lau last week and it was one of the worst experience we've ever had while dining out. After eating here this time, we have decided never to come back. The portions were extremely small, prices went up and the service is absolutely horrible. The servers are have no intentions to serve you, when you ask for something, they'll pretend they dont see your hand and walk the other way. The worst part was, they charged us $5 for a small tea pot and when we asked for a refill at the end of our meal, they came back with cold water in the pot. This is not the place to go to if you want to have a nice sit down dinner and enjoy the food with company. We ended up spending $150+ for 3 people just for a few dishes and we weren't even full at the end of our meal. For this price point, there are many other good options in OC with similar options.

When I visit OC, many of my friends were raving about this restaurant, I'm not crazy about snails and stuff, but my brother insisted that I have to try, so we did. He ate here a few times. OK this place is a trendy place for young people, it's in a big food center in Garden Grove. Most of the plates are under $20 and the portions are small, real appetizers. Most of people ordered the lau which is a bowl of soup and you dip whatever you want to order in it. I didn't like any of the VN lau so we didn't order. Most of young people having dates going here to be trendy. The food is actually excellent and the services are very attentive and quick. The only plate I think it's totally over priced is the 4 scallops for $27. They're not even out of ordinary. The snails in tamarine sauce is quite tasty, you can eat with rice and it's excellent. The finger snails are hot and tasty too, nothing to complain there just only a few fingers. The octopus salad was ok, the meats are very chewy, I wouldn't order this. The snails in garlic sauce which I think it's amazing. The fried rice is good, nothing to rave about. So, there are quite a few oc & lau in the bay and the foods are excellent too, but after everything is done, you only had a few snails and shrimps as appetizers. It's ok to try it once but not crazy to be here over and over again since I'm not crazy about snails and stuff LOL. I want real food.

This place lived up to it's seafood hype. Lots of variety and options for seafood with so many different types and styles you can try of seafood. We really liked the lobster noodles, the king scallops, garlic butter queen clams and the steam clam soup. The coconut snails was a bit cumbersome and small to eat with some awkward taste. The base broth was fine but the snail was ok. The papaya salad was very refreshing and the hotpot was the filet mignon beef, shrimp and squid option which was also great with a savory broth. The atmosphere was lively and loud but still clear enough to hear each other talk. The staff was fairly attentive. Highly recommend reservations as both places are packed at most hours.

very yummy! highly recommend the lobsters udon! overall is very good, it’s just a bit oily and savory for me personally! also good for family/friends gatherings! but remember to get in line (waitlist) earlier before you head out to the restaurant.

We came here about an hour during closing . Service was quick. Everyone was friendly. We ordered: House special clay pot fried rice - flavor was good. Need to leave it a couple minutes before digging in for the rice to crisp up. Shaken beef with macaroni - this was good but not as flavorful as the other days. Garlic snail with butter and Sriracha - Sriracha was not strong. Fish sauce wings - delicious Grilled escargot with garlic butter and peppercorn - this was good Their taro dessert was delicious!

Our mom's favorite restaurant! The quality of every dish is amazing and they offer a variety of options to choose from! Everything is super tasty and delicious, but I recommend the Vietnamese salads, escargots, and rice dishes. * Ốc Hến Bánh Đa: 9/10 - nicely seasoned and comes with rice sesame crackers * Chem Chép Nướng Mỡ Hành: 8/10 - kind of difficult to chew and barely had any siracha * Gỏi Xoài Mực Một Nắng: 10/10 - tartness from the mangos balances out with the sauce and squid * Gỏi Ngó Sen Hải Sản: 7/10 - good for those that don't like tart * Cơm Chiên Tôm Cua: 10/10 - full of crab and shrimp * Bơ Dằm Sầu Riêng: 10/10 - yummy combination They remodeled ever since we first came and the place seems a lot more spacious. The workers were very attentive and we didn't have to wait too long for our food to arrive. The plaza can get crowded at dinnertime, but you should be fine during brunch hours. One thing to keep in mind about the place is that it's a bit pricier compared to other locations, but nothing too crazy. Considering the quality of the food and service, it's definitely worth it! Highly recommend stopping by!

This is my first time here in over 5 years, and I forgot how amazing this restaurant is. I love ocean snails and seafood and my gosh it's just super fresh, tasty, and satisfying dining here. I came with a few coworkers and we shared everything from razor clams, snails, prawns, oysters, scallops, whole crab, crab fried rice, filet mignon egg noodles, squid, French fries, whole fried snapper - yeah, we got A LOT and tried everything a variety of things. The service was great and quick. Most of the customers here are Vietnamese, which is very telling of what a great Vietnamese restaurant this place is. I love how bright and clean the interior is and a great place for a big group to dine here. I need to bring my parents here next!

This place is everything delicious--I have no complaints! The oysters and razor clams are my absolute favorites. While the prices are on the higher side for the amount of seafood you get, it's well worth it. The service is quick, and there's plenty of seating, though it can get busy, and you might experience a wait on weekends. This restaurant is always on our must-visit list whenever we're in SoCal!

What an amazing experience here at Oc & Lau. I joined the Yelp waitlist at about 6:30PM and got seated at near 9PM. This restaurant is packed all day every day so take advantage of the Yelp waitlist and plan accordingly. The parking lot is somewhat big, but was filled during the time I went. Service could've been a bit better, but looking at the crowd at this restaurant, it is understandable that they have to work fast. Oc Dishes: Fresh and clean. Some places' oc have a weird after taste to it, but these had amazing flavor. Honestly, if I lived here, I would be going here twice a week at least to try everything! Lau Thai Seafood: Great price and could be split between about 4 people. Soup flavor was great and there was so much seafood given. One of the best lau Thais I've had. Ech Chien Bo: Perfect! The frog was fried perfectly and the flavor wasn't too salty. I recommend dipping this in their salt pepper lemon mixture.

This place is pretty good and almost had a 5 star if it weren't a few minor things. I was trying to get my name on the Yelp system through the Yelp app and it kept giving me an error. It seems like this restaurant only wants you to make reservations in person. If so, the should take off the waitlist function in their Yelp page. The food was amazing! I'd go back for the ousters with the cream sauce and also the halibut fish hot pot. The service was amazing! They brought out the food in a timely manner...except the bread came out too early for one of the dishes to pair with, which was the oyster with cream sauce. So by the time that paired dish came out, the bread was super cold. The restaurant was a bit crowded and the line outside kept getting longer and longer. So being there was 5:30pm, we still had to wait about 20ish minutes to grab a table. I wonder how long people had to wait after 7pm. The ambiance was decent. It was easy to hear each other. I'd definitely come again to try their other dishes.

Can't go wrong with OC & Lau!! Service is always friendly and patient, ambiance is always vibrant, and food always hits! I've gone here a few times, trying an array of different dishes each time, and they literally never. miss. Flavors are very unique, well balanced, and - I'm told - are very authentic and true to what you would find in Vietnam! LOVE THIS PLACE! A local treasure to be protected at all costs!

Love the restaurant to get my fix on Vietnamese street food. You can never go wrong with gỏi rau muống with snails here, not too acidic, a good amount of snails and the rau muong. Oysters always taste fresh, not slimy at all. The ốc tỏi bơ siracha was a bit too chewy and missing the siracha sauce for it. Overall the place can get pretty loud since most of the food is for drinking. Parking is a struggle if you go during dinner time so brace yourself for it. It can take awhile for the food to come out when it's busy so I highly recommend to go right before the dinner rush or weekdays afternoon

My family and I came here for dinner and LOVED it. If you are coming here, I highly recommend to make a reservation if you can, otherwise there might be a LONG wait. We ended up waiting for ~40 minutes before we were seated. The ambiance is lively and there's plenty of space for big groups/tables. Service here is quick. We ordered so many dishes ranging from their squid to their shellfish to hot pot and everything was delicious. Everything was reasonably priced and the portions were good. Would definitely come back again!

This place is simply amazing! We were very fortunate and went in right before the dinner rush on a Saturday. We quickly placed our orders and watch as the place and tables slowly filled up and the line started forming. Once we received our orders we could now understand the hype of this place The flavor was amazing and the service was fast. Not only that the staff were able to attend to us with a full house as well! We wished we could've ordered more but we were simply too full Overall would love to come back here with a bigger group and a bigger appetite!

This has been bookmarked for quite sometime and I finally got to try it! Of course with it being so popular, there was quite wait. Luckily you can put your name on the waiting list via yelp so that is a huge plus! The restaurant was decent sized and fully lit. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating as well. Collectively as a table we ordered: Peppered escargot - the escargot was tasty but I feel like it was a bit tough for some of them. A bit chewy. Flavor was still there. 4/5 Oysters with fried onions - great flavors. A bit too much friend onions and the oyster itself was a bit small in size but when you dip it into this ginger fish sauce they give you - it elevates the flavors so well! 4/5 Salted fish fried rice - great portion for the table to share. Seasoned well, the fish wasn't too salty at all. The rice was cooked perfectly where it wasn't too hard or over cooked. 5/5 Filet mignon with noodles - beef was extremely tender! Huge chunks as well! It blended well with their squiggly noodles. 5/5 Special combo mango salad - this was definitely my favorite plate. the mango tasted fresh and not sour or too sweet. It blended well with their squid and sauce. 5/5 Seafood hotpot - LOVED THIS. It came with vermicelli and two dishes of vegetables. Perfect amount to share with the table. It was sweet and sour and the seafood itself was extremely fresh. 5/5 Peppered basil clams - they have us so much clams for one ordered and it was paired perfectly with our rice! It has a salty yet peppered flavor to it. 4/5 Fish sauce fried chicken - this was a huge hit at the table. The batter was crispy and the inside was tender. You couldn't even taste the fish sauce but it was still extremely flavorful. No need for any other extra sauce. 5/5 Passion fruit pitcher - this was refreshing! They also gave us dessert (Che) at the end which was a perfect way to end the meal!

A friend recommended that I try this place out! Super glad that I did! I loved all the dishes that were ordered. Sadly I don't remember the names of the dishes since my friend helped me order them. However I did take photos of them :)! There's a huge variety on what you could order. I highly recommend the escargots! The restaurant was packed even with plenty of tables. There was a wait to get in since most were big parties. This is also a family friendly spot. I would say it was definitely worth the wait! The staff were all very nice and attentive. Food came out pretty quick even with how busy it was.

If your hands aren't messy after eating here, you didn't order enough food. The food comes super fast and it will definitely take up all the table space if you don't eat fast enough! So many options to choose from the menu where you can't go wrong. If you're having a hard time deciding what to get: snails, clams, oysters, and any hot pot. The fried squid and shrimp were pretty overcooked and rubbery, so don't recommend those.

Don't let the name snail (Oc) scare you away from these delicious little creatures. Yes, some of the snails have a tough texture, but it's covered with the right amount of herbs, spices, and butter that balance out the pallet. As for the service, they were nice and friendly and quick to service you as well. Highly recommend this place especially with some beer.

It's a new fave restaurant for me. I love seafood, but I rarely go out and eat seafood due to the price and freshness. I feel like this place had somewhat reasonable prices for very fresh and well cooked seafood! The oysters were absolutely delicious, and the scallop with the quail egg was done juuuust right. The crispy rice with chinese sausage was also my favorite! It was super crunchy, and it hit that spot when needed different textures among all the seafood being eaten. Finally, the mango salad. O M G . It is done perfectly. The seasoning was sooo good and it paired so well with the seafood we were eating. All around the food was 5/5, no complaints whatsoever. The service was awesome! They got so busy to the point where some servers were running around taking orders, cleaning tables, and serving people. They all did so while being so polite and friendly. We were never kept waiting for long. Ambiance -- family, friends, dates, -- this place does it all. Such a nice area and the ambiance was so lively. When I come back I'm definitely trying their alcohol from their very extensive alc menu, and i'm trying other seafood dishes!

They ran out of razor clams unfortunately but the grilled shrimp skewers and king scallops were delicious! Our server got to us quickly and service was great! It can get smokey in there so your hair and clothes will probably smell but it's worth it.

My Viet family makes it a point to grub here every time we're in ỐC and there's a reason! This is THE spot for Viet street style clams, scallops, and hotpot. Wait times can be high (we waited 30min) since they're really popular. Service was fast and efficient. Overall, highly recommend!

Excellent for fresh seafood. Would recommend coming with a big party so you can try more from the menu. It's super busy and they don't take reservations so you have to go early to put your name que. the restaurant is small and there are alot of restaurants near by so parking gets really tight. Ambiance is loud and tight and crowded. But the service is still really would. Sorry I had lots of pictures but deleted it by accident. Next time. 4/5

I came here for dinner with my family. Coming from Pomona, I really like that they utilize the Yelp waitlist. It helped us time our visit and minimize our wait, since this place was packed and very hectic/loud when we arrived. I was honestly overwhelmed with the extensive menu and let my family do the ordering. My favorites were: mango squid salad, stir fried glass noodles with escargot and crab, sea bass hot pot, fresh coconut and kumquat juice, and smashed avocado and durian. The flavors/textures for these dishes and drinks were excellent and worth the money. I was not impressed with the grilled shrimp. It was dry and the shell was very difficult to separate from the meat. I also did not like the tamarind soft shell crab. It was too sweet and soggy. The razor clams were okay - they used a lot of garnishes but I felt like this dish was not memorable. Overall, I enjoyed trying a variety of dishes at Oc & Lau. I would say that you need to know what to order because not all the dishes were great.

This place is sooo good. I joined on the Yelp waitlist which made it super convenient because this restaurant is always so crowded. The menu is huge but all of the things I had were so good. I highly recommended the fresh mango/papaya salad, coconut snails, and the lobster tail udon! The restaurant tends to be super loud, so not ideal if you are trying to connect with friends after a long time bc it can be hard to hear. Overall super yummy food and quick service!

I love the food at this place but the wait time can be a bit crazy. Three times I have been here the wait time has been at least 30 mins and the longest was 1.5 hours during peak times. The menu can be intimidating for someone who's never been here or unsure what to expect. Luckily the first time the table next to me was super friendly and I started asking them the dishes they ordered because it looked so good. Turns out this is their regular spot and they have tried many dishes here so they know what's the best/popular items. The food comes out fast, the service is quick and no nonsense. They get you what you need and they're gone. The must have dish here are the escargots and clams. Also don't miss on the salads because they are so refreshing and a good pair with the other items on the menu. We had the pineapple fried rice once as well and felt that was just okay.

Lucky me... got here for lunch at 12 and was able to get razor clams! Be forewarned... they run out quick. We asked to place another order maybe 30 minutes later and they were out. I definitely preferred the black pepper seasoning as opposed to the garlic. The raw scallops were refreshing and fresh. Papaya salad with snail was absolutely delicious also. Everything I had was good. Definitely give this place a try!

Fried rice, snails, hotpot, lobsters, mango salad and seafood galore. I've got to say this place is a super solid find. The wait is a little long but check in online and the wait would be shorter. My recommendation is maybe 30 min before you go on a Friday night. This place is super happening, with a great atmosphere; lots of people dining, and the service is quick and friendly to say the least. Back to the food everything was super fresh and delicious. Prices were great too. Overall great place to get together and meet and have a great meal.

It's simply awesome! The place has a cool, chill vibe, and the food was so good. We tried escargot, clams, oysters, scallops, and everything was super fresh and had great flavor. The portions were big, and the service was super friendly without being pushy, which I really appreciated. They made good recommendations, and the staff seemed to really know the menu well. Overall, it's a great spot if you're into seafood and looking for a laid-back place to hang out. Definitely recommend it!

I visited OC & Lau Restaurant on a busy Sunday around noon. Even with a 30-minute wait for my party of three, the place was packed. They removed my name from the waitlist prematurely, which felt odd, but they did get to us eventually. The ambiance was nice, although it was definitely cramped with little room between tables. Despite the crowded setting, our servers were quick to get us started, though we noticed some of our utensils were dirty, so I'd recommend wiping and checking everything before using it. We ordered four dishes: Filet Mignon with Udon (3/5) - This dish was a bit of a letdown. The portion felt small for the price, and overall, it just didn't stand out. I'd probably skip this one next time. Crab and Shrimp Fried Rice (4/5) - Flavor wise, this was a hit! It was delicious, although the portion was on the smaller side, and it only had a few shrimp in the whole dish. Despite that, it was tasty and worth trying. Grilled King Scallops with Fish Eggs (5/5) - This was amazing! The scallops were perfectly cooked, topped with fish eggs, and had a slight spice that enhanced the flavor. Highly recommend this dish. Lobster Hot Pot (5/5) - Absolutely the star of the meal. This hot pot includes a whole lobster in what I assumed was a tangy tom yum broth, accompanied by a side of noodles, bean sprouts, tomatoes, cucumbers, and pineapple. It's a must-try if you're a fan of lobster and hot pot. So unique and full of flavor! The servers were kind but not as attentive as I expected, likely due to the busy crowd. I don't blame them at all though and understand things happen on a busy Sunday lunch. Overall, I had a good experience at OC & Lau Restaurant. The wait and dirty utensils were minor drawbacks, but the food made up for it. The lobster hot pot was a standout and something I'd return for!

Food was amazing! I really love their escargot and basically anything seafood. It's all super fresh and the food came out relatively fast!!! There's lots of space in the restaurant and the service is quick. I will say though when we got there our estimated wait time was 10-20 minutes but ended up waiting for over an hour. I would say it's worth the wait but be prepared!!

This spot is fire! And i say this having lived in San Jose! The highlight of my meal was the basil snail--each piece was perfectly juicy with a light butter fill - (I checked them all). Plus, the snails were easy to get out of the shell, making for a smooth, enjoyable experience. The oysters, blood clam, and scallops were all fresh and well-prepared, with a fresh, soft texture to the palate. I was a bit disappointed they were out of periwinkle and razor clams, which I've heard are their specialties, but that just means I'll have to come back! The goi beef salad was another standout; it was flavorful and the ingredients were clearly fresh. They have both big and small tables for all sizes. You'll feel like your in Vietnam coming here so a green check for authenticity.

came with a large party of 10 for weekday lunch and there was no wait. ordered: -pineapple fried rice -lobster tail udon -squid green mango salad -shaken beef -grilled garlic butter escargot -fried tilapia with mango and ginger fish sauce highlights: -escargot was amazing (i love escargot) - fresh, piping hot, and incredibly flavourful. -lobster was very meaty and the sauce might have been ketchup-based, which wasn't something i've tried before, but not bad. -beef was tender -squid salad was refreshing and packed with flavour! highly recommend getting. looks like a small portion but a little went a long way since the dressing was umami. loved the addition of the shrimp chips as vessels to eat the salad with! -tilapia was suuuper crunchy and the green mango and fish sauce (almost like a sweet thai chili) paired with it perfectly. i wish it had more of a light crisp like tempura, but it leaned more on the crunchy spectrum unfortunately they were out of their razor clams but will definitely try next time along with their appetizing drinks and hotpot since almost every table had a jug and/or hotpot. we were told we'd have gratuity added which wasn't an issue but they later told us they wouldn't charge us for gratuity since we had a toddler and a baby.

Great dinner made easier by the waitlist. Actual wait time was minimal and we were able to get a table shortly after arrival. We ordered a selection items. They were out of razor clams by 7:30PM on a Friday night. Our favorites of the night were the garlic/scallion escargot and the clams with basil. Also enjoyed the mango slaw with escargot. The lobster was hammered/overcooked sitting atop the udon. Maybe we should have picked a different carb option. Service is fast and easy. Great casual dinner.

Food here is always good, and always a long line. Definitely try this place if you like seafood and Asian food

First time we try this restaurant, it turns out ohmaygudniss! So good the broth is perfect, the vegetables very fresh and the meat as well. Yummylicious!

I mean.. I'm just one a three thousand amazing reviews. They are REALLY that good! I love how efficient yet friendly the staff is. I hope they get the recognition and compensation they deserve because they are on top of it! The reviews speak for itself, it's honestly one of our favorite restaurants in the OC and we make it a habit to stop here every chance we get. One thing I do recommend getting is the garlic peppercorn pen escargot. I could've had a plate to myself! The hotpot is Thai/Viet style I'd say. It tastes a lot like canh chua. Personally, I prefer just the Thai style since canh chua can be a bit sweet but overall such a flavorful broth with a large side of veggies, seafood and rice noodles.

When in the OC, Oc & Lau comes to mind. Everyone always raves about how delicious the seafood at oc & lau is, but for my first time dining here, I didn't have the best experience. There was a crowd of people standing in front of the door waiting to be called upon, so was I. I had no idea it was my turn until I received a text saying my name was removed from the waitlist. Supposedly, he said he called my name 3 times but I never heard it even though I was standing close to the door. Next, my friends and I were seated in a spot where whenever the door would open, a gust of wind would come blowing down. Tissues would fly off the table. On a positive note, the wind helped cool down the seafood dishes that were on sizzling plates. As for the food, the most notable dish was the spicy escargot stir fried. The other seafood dishes we chose was in garlic butter but wasn't overly garlicky so it wasn't very special. Flavor wise, I preferred the spicy escargot, you could really taste the basil and the kick of the spice. We finished our food and asked for the check and that's when they brought out complimentary desserts! It reminded me of the taro sago soup desserts at Cantonese restaurants. As we got our check, we noticed that we had ordered 5 dishes but only 4 had been served. They didn't ask if we still wanted the scallops nor offered an apology. Removed the item from the bill and went their merry way. All in all, they are a very popular restaurant with long lines. The seafood tastes fresh but the overall experience deters me from coming back.

Waited an hour around 1230pm on a Saturday. Service was decent, but they were busy and sometimes we needed plates to be picked up, so we could clear the table for more. F O O D - Chilean Sea Bass Hot Pot - Super tasty and tender fish, but the soup was a little too sweet for me. - Scallops with onions, ram, and peanuts was good, but a small bite. One per person. - Snails - not my thing, but a lot of people got it. I'd come back to try more.

ORDER everytime im in this plaza, there is always a wait outside of oc & lau. i finally got the chance to try it and it was definitely worth the hype! id recommend joining the waitlist on yelp before coming to the restaurant to minimize your wait. everything we got was delicious and well priced! SERVICE service was amazing! the workers were attentive and kind. AMBIANCE big restaurant, but it is a little cramped due to the amount of tables.

This place is always busy. Doesn't matter what time or day. Advice: Add yourself to the Yelp waitlist prior to arrival and check in at the door. It's usually pretty loud in there between the music, conversations, and banging of plates, silverware, etc. The service is a hit or miss. In general, they're quick but once the food are delivered to the table, the server may be hard to flag down. I'm assuming they all work together though, because you can probably just flag down any server when you need something. Food. They specialize in seafood dishes like escargot but also have hot pots that are also tasty. Our must have are the spicy seasoned grilled squid, house special mango salad and grilled escargot. There's plenty of options to choose from their extensive menu, and most dishes are a hit. Prices may seem high for some but they're worth it. Their nuoc cham and green sauce are also bomb. They also serve complimentary che at the end of the meal with the bill. Overall, it's a solid spot for sure.

Amazing!! Food is so delicious and full of flavor: the escargot is a must! The fried rice has lots of crab meat and is full of flavor, and pairs well with the provided sauce. Everything is fresh and good quality. The wait time can be a while during busy dinner hours, but during lunch hours I didn't experience a wait. The restaurant and bathroom is clean, and the restaurant is spacious.

Good seafood for good prices. Expect a wait as the restaurant is always pretty crowded. All of their seafood dishes are really good, and everything comes out sizzling. A go to is also the lobster hot pot which comes with noodles and also vegetables. Tons of flavor in the broth.

The food was super good. The grilled squid and shrimp had a great char flavor (although the shrimp came on the table almost cold). The lotus salad was probably the best salad I've had here. Super fresh tasting and the seafood in it didn't taste fishy at all.

Amazing and Valuable Seafood Dishes in the County! Steamed Seafood brought each freshness within. All dishes had topped with fried garlic and scallions, and basil leaves. It's a crowd restaurant, so make sure to head there early or make reservations in advance. If your party is 2 or less, feel free to grab a seat at the bar. Hostess, Server, and Bar Tender are all friendly. What an enjoyable dining experience for a great value for Seafood.

Ordered alot of dishes here and the best thing was probably the crawfish fried rice. Warning for people with peanut allergy. Would not recommend going as the menu items don't say if it contains it or not. It only has it as "some of our dishes and drinks may contain peanuts" I was a little disappointed because most of the items were bland or felt like it was missing something. The crab in the pot was not bad but it was also a hassle to open the crab since they had so much sauce on it. My friend attacked me with sauce when he used the crab cracker tool. Was not a fan of the butter garlic grilled oysters. All I tastes were burnt shallots and peanuts. It also had a weird after taste towards the end. The scallop and quail egg just tasted like yolk. Not sure if there was even a scallop in there. It was also not like what we were imagining it'd be. Escargot tastes like nothing.the grilled shrimp tasted like charcoal. I'm not sure if we just ordered wrong or maybe our expectations were too high considering the wait times.

I always make a stop here whenever I'm in the oc area. There aren't a lot of places that offer snails; all their seafood here is really good. Food: I mainly come for the seafood, so I can't really vouch for the other options. You can't go wrong with any of the snails; my favorite is the black peppercorn snails or the snails in coconut sauce. Their rice/noodle dishes are pretty solid also; I always get the glass noodle with crab or crab fried rice. Service: The service is always great here. They're very quick and attentive. Don't hesitate to ask for recommendations if you're unsure of what to try Overall, this place is a staple for my family and we come here all the time! Great food and nice ambiance

Service is non existent but the food is fire. Lines are always super long at all hours of the day on the weekend so make sure you put your name down for the waitlist on Yelp well ahead of time.

Avoid this place, otherwise you will get lectured by your server. I've been to this place many times but this time really got me mad. I usually order "seafood glass noodles" every time I came and every time the order comes correctly with no problem. Today we went again, we have 7 ppl so we ordered two rounds of food. The first round we ordered seafood glass noodles, we just told our server "seafood glass noodles" and the order came correctly as the photo shown, as every other time did. But when we doing our second round of ordering, we told a female server that we want seafood glass noodles, she seems confused but took the order anyway. When the dish came out, it was completely wrong--it wasn't the seafood glass noodles we've ordered countless times before. I politely let her know this wasn't the correct dish and asked if we could get the right one instead or at least a refund. She not only refused but also started lecturing me about the "correct" name of the dish, implying that I was the one at fault. This was extremely frustrating because I've ordered the same way every time I've been here and never had an issue until now. The funny thing is that she claimed they couldn't change the dish because they were "too busy." Yet, when we later asked to add more dishes to our order, they were able to accommodate without any issue. Maybe it's time for you guys to do some server training. It's disappointing because I used to enjoy coming here, I will post this in xiaohongshu too.:)

We came here to eat before heading to Disney about 30 mins into open. It's a decent size establishment, modern decor, and clean. Can get loud when it's busy, but a nice place to socialize with friend's family, or even a date, including a solo one. We were greeted right away and they have plenty of staff to assist as it wasn't busy just yet. We couldn't decide what to get, but ended up opting for around 5 dishes, scallops, pineapple fried rice, clams, escargot, and a seafood soup. Everything tasted amazing! Very authentic, fresh, full of herbs and savory flavors. We thought we ordered too much, but ended up finishing it all. In addition to getting two smoothie drinks. Within 30 mins into it, we noticed it got really busy and there was a line, so we were glad we came in at a good time. We even noticed people eating solo with plenty of dishes in front of them. This place is good, so I don't blame them! Definitely a must stop whenever you're in the area.

This place is popping at night. My family and I went here on a Saturday night and there was a pretty long wait, especially at 8:00pm. Food: 5/5 The food was delicious. We order the snail and it came in a sweet and savory sauce. I used that sauce in everything! Their fried calamari was really light, crispy, and came with a spicy mayo. Their filet mignon cubes were tender and paired deliciously with their buttery garlic noodles. The conch was good, but unfortunately, the flavors didn't not marinate into the meat. Lastly, the Ong Choi tasted great. Price: 4/5 This place is a little pricey. Each dish averaged around $16, and the portions were very small. I was looking through their menu, and it seems like they have some great and cheap alcoholic drink options. Ambiance: 5/5 This place is lit. I would come here with friend or with family. I would come for just their drinks too. It's lively in there. Service: 5/5 The servers were super sweet and patient. Their recommended items were delicious. The only complaint is that we joined the waitlist. After like 20 minutes, we got a text saying our table was ready and when we got to the host, they said it would be another 20 minutes. I think their app just needs a little refining. Overall this place is fun and lively. I would highly recommend their food!

The atmosphere is lively, and they wrap up your meal with a complimentary Vietnamese che, which is a nice touch.
