"Octavio is an all-day Mexican restaurant in Andersonville. They serve brunch on weekdays, and the dinner menu has options like enchiladas, fajitas, and tacos made with fresh tortillas. They also have a long list of tequila and mezcal. It’s a good neighborhood spot for a casual group get together, or for grabbing drinks after work." - Adrian Kane

Great appetizers, guacamole and pico de Gallo, chicarron. Excellent pollo tinga tacos and ahogada Torta. Wonderful staff. Manager stopped by each table to check on the customers. UPDATE Went back and had the sopa azteca, grilled arrachera tacos and the Cobb salad, all excellent. I had the pozole verde, true pozole with pork and all the trimmings. Probably the best pozole verde I have ever had. Try the Apple cajeta crisp for dessert. Service was excellent again.

Really enjoyed this place! Note: An order of Tacos is two tacos. I know it says it on the menu but I didn’t see it! We split the Chicken and Waffles and two orders of tacos (Arrachera and Tinga) and it was a perfect amount of food. The C&W were good and so was the Arrachera, but the Tinga was REALLY GOOD!! Drinks were good too! Classic Margarita was balanced and I got the Mexican Firing Squad. You don’t realize how small a 6 oz drink is until they bring it to you - go for the 12 oz! Looks like this will be a great addition to the neighborhood. The glass roof looks like it can be opened which will be nice once the weather gets better!!

Came here for my birthday brunch. My family and I loved it! We had the elote and lobster guacamole as an appetizer. They were delicious! All of our main dishes were amazing. Very flavorful and presentation was on point. Our drinks were the same! It was pricey, but I didn’t pay because it was my birthday lol I will definitely go back and pay to try new things on their menu!

The service was polite and friendly - but just a bit slow. The food options were varied, with something for just about everyone. We had ceviche, octopus al pastor, and the poblano and cheese enchiladas. The food was great. We also had a pitcher of margaritas, which was surprisingly super strong! Also, we loved that the outdoor sitting is dog-friendly.

Definitely a good place for a Drag Brunch type of Sunday. The food was delicious and on point with the flavors and preparation. Chilaquiles was a good portion size if you're really hungry. Guava pancakes were delectable and pair it with a mimosa you can't go wrong. The only downside is the brunch package is for 4 people minimum so be aware of that and don't try to change it lol you know who you are. The package is a lot of food for two people from what I saw. If you want some spice in your morning to kick start your a** then get the fiery drink with passion fruit (because I was kinda tipsy not to remember it haha). Now onto the drag queens....TIP THE B*@%#=) ahem I mean Ladies. Yeah, Ladies hehe but for real they put on a show and will get the entertainment going which is why we're there for a drag brunch. All-in-all, you'll enjoy yourself here. The Demi Sexton though can put on a Show. Loved the mirror snake-skin outfit.

We had a great time here. Vic, our waitress, was really welcoming and chill, we appreciated her. Javier was very nice as well. The space is beautiful, with lots of natural light and cool interior design. The food was delicious. Their salsa was amazing, and we loved the fish tacos. Being from California, I haven’t even tried fish tacos anywhere in the Midwest. We were pleasantly surprised. Best of all, we found It to be really reasonably priced. We have spent the same amount of money on meals elsewhere in the city and gotten half the amount of food. We highly recommend this place. It’s a great addition to Andersonville.

Great Mexican food, affordable prices, excellent decoration. Before you order they bring you some tostadas (chips) and one small bowl of salsa where you can dip them. We tried the nachos and flautas both pretty good. They also have good beers and different options of margaritas and wines. Moreover, everyone from the staff is incredibly kind. We loved it.

I would like to give this place five stars but they have one item on the menu that I wish it was more inclusive to non pork eating customers. The “Chef Combo tacos” doesn’t have an option without pork. I wish they could allow someone like me enjoy a deal that offers a variety of tacos without forcing me to get pork. Otherwise, the service is great, drinks are made to perfection and chips are tasty.
