Where to Indulge in Excellent Charcuterie and Cheese Spreads in Miami

"Osteria Morini’s charcuterie board is offered for lunch and service and comes with a hand-cut selection of premium sliced cheeses, including taleggio, pecorino, and semi-soft gorgonzola dolce. Amongst the cured meats are prosciutto di parma, capocollo, and sopressata. The restaurant also weaves in Italian crostini and three spreadable dips: gelato di Parmigiano with crema and nutmeg; a specialty trota affumicata with smoked trout, creme fraiche, castelvetrano olive, and chives; and fegatini, made with duck liver mousse and passito wine. The board ranges in pricing from $12 to $45 and is available for dine-in and delivery through DoorDash." - Juliana Accioly

13 Ways to Feast on Thanksgiving Day in Miami, 2022 Edition

"The West Avenue restaurant is offering a three-course Thanksgiving dinner with several options. Tempt the appetite with starters served family style of burrata with pumpkin seed crumble, fig agrodolce, and crispy sage, or polpettine made with prosciutto and mortadella along with Pomodoro and whipped ricotta. Move on to the main choices of a tacchino herb roasted turkey breast with potato puree, focaccia rosemary stuffing, turkey gravy, and cranberry mostarda, or the grilled Branzino with crispy Brussels sprouts, or gnocchi ricotta dumplings with butternut squash. To finish the meal, dessert choices will be a crostata di zucca (pumpkin pie with vanilla cream and toasted pumpkin seeds) or the torta di mele (caramelized apple pie with vanilla cream and caramel sauce). Price: $75 per adult and $55 per child age twelve and under." - Stacy A. Moya

The Best Things We Ate This Week - Miami - The Infatuation

"Torcia Nera Osteria Morini is an Italian restaurant from New York that just opened a location in South Beach. And despite the fact that the phrase “restaurant from New York” is starting to make me feel the way some people do when they hear the word “moist,” I stopped by to check them out. And the pasta is pretty good. I got a few, but ended up really liking the torcia nera, which is squid ink pasta with seppia and shrimp ragù. This place is in a hotel in South Beach, so brace for steep prices and a touristy crowd, but if you’re a lover of pasta, it’s worth a trip here eventually." - Ryan Pfeffer, Carlos C Olaechea

Osteria Morini Review - South Beach - Miami - The Infatuation

"As with pretty much all hotel restaurants in South Beach, you can expect higher-than-average prices and a slightly touristy crowd at Osteria Morini. However, it’s still possible to have a very enjoyable meal here, especially if you sit outside. All the outdoor tables are arranged along a narrow little canal that can make you feel like you’re in Venice, if you squint hard and have had more than two negronis. Pasta is the move here, and it’s solid - especially the torcia nera and cappelletti. photo credit: Anthony Leo" - Ryan Pfeffer

NYC Import Osteria Morini Brings Italian Charm to South Beach  - Eater Miami

"More Italian food is heading to Miami — this time courtesy of the New York-based Altamarea Group, the team behind Michelin-stared Marea and Ai Fiori, who has opened a Miami Beach outpost of their eatery Osteria Morini (1750 Alton Road) this week inside Kimpton Palomar South Beach. It marks the fifth location for the restaurant. Led by corporate executive chef Bill Dorrler and former Altamarea chef de cuisine Julio Cesar Ramos, the menu highlights food from Northern Italy’s Emilia-Romagna region. On the menu guests can find dishes like seafood salad, prosciutto and mortadella meatballs, ricotta gnocchi in a black kale pesto, squid ink pasta, pistachio-crusted duck breast, and more. A beverage menu filled with classic cocktails, sustainable wines, and local brews rounds out the offerings. Designed by New York City-based nusla design, the space combines the design of an Italian farmhouse with contemporary updates like floor-to-ceiling windows through the yacht-shaped building. Throughout the dining room the restaurant’s signature floating Italian Murano glass-domed lights can be found, along with green velvet banquettes, marble and bronze mirrors on the walls, wooden tables, and antique artifacts decorating the space. Outdoors, the 1,000 square-foot Collins Canal front patio is covered with string lighting and colorful umbrellas. Osteria Morini Miami Beach is now open for dinner service Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 5 p.m to 11 p.m., with plans to expand to daily breakfast, lunch, brunch and full week dinner service this spring." - Olee Fowler
