First of all, as someone who lives on Hayden Island, I'm excited to have another restaurant opening year round. The grounds are stunning (see the photos), and the builidng is beautiful. There is limited interior seating with at least one large-screen TV, but most of the seating is outdoors: some covered; most with umbrella shade.
We stopped here during the first hour of their first day of business. We just ordered coffee so we could sit outside with our dogs and enjoy the beautiful morning in a beautiful setting. We were not disappointed. The service was wonderful--everyone was happy at the launch, and we were the first non-Columbia Crossing customers.
Gentle reader, prepare yourself: a 12 ounce cup of drip coffee is $5 here. It does include tip, and it was good coffee. Still, that's a lot for drip, non-organic coffee. So, this won't be a daily stop for me, but it will be special weekend coffee.
We'll be back to try their menu offerings for lunch or dinner. Pal's promises to be a wonderful gathering spot for people and their dogs.
Welcome to the Island!
