Mostly because you should find any reason to inhale the warm, campfire aroma wafting from the wood-fired ovens in the back. It’s a small spot that feels like a classed-up wood mill—there are logs stacked up against the dark walls, metal pipes, and leather booths. Almost everything is cooked over a wood-burning hearth—you'll figure that out from the second you arrive, thanks to the piles of wood and the scent of fire. Every dish on the small, seasonal menu is a winner. But don't miss the Hot Nashville Cheese or anything made with the 80-plus-year-old sourdough starter.
