"One of the only places where you can get hand cut vermicelli noodles is Phở Sapa in Chinatown. The modern, casual restaurant serves small and large bowls of phở with your choice of small noodles—the standard vermicelli at nearly every phở spot—or Phở Sapa’s specialty wide rice noodles. Steaming bowls arrive mere seconds after ordering. The subtle, clarified hot broth tastes light and airy, and the silky soft vermicelli are built for slurping. We suggest getting wide noodles with a bowl of phở dặc biệt if you want to try a bit of everything (including tripe and brisket), or choose your own meat topping adventure. What to order: phở dặc biệt with wide noodles" - chelsea thomas

"This Asiatown restaurant recently relocated to a different location on the same street, but that hasn’t stopped the lines from forming daily. Pho Sapa specializes in northern style broth that tastes slightly sweet. The phở tái gừng, rare steak with ginger, boasts tender meat and thinly slices of fresh ginger, making the broth even more herbaceous. For true Northern style pho, ask for fresh wide noodles." - Minh Truong

Absolutely delicious Pho! Perfect broth, super fresh add ins, tender meat. Also the Hu Tieu Kho was tasty. All that with great service and fair prices. Definitely my top 3 of Pho places in Houston!

One of the best places for phở! The noodles are really soft, brisket is fatty, tai is tender and the broth is so flavorful.

Restaurant: Pho Sapa (Houston, TX) World class bowl of Pho. The reviews and hype are real. This bowl of Pho is definitely a top 5 Pho in America and the best Northern inspired Pho I’ve ever had. When the server set the bowl down, I knew I was in for a treat. The looks of the broth's richness and quality cuts of meats lived up to how it tasted very rich, beefy, savory, perfectly balanced, and mind blowing from the first sip of the broth to the last. There wasn’t much for the aromatic smell but that did not matter. I love how the restaurant is mainly focused on Pho. The environment was perfect for eating noodles. The restaurant felt like it was modernized for made for eating noodles. Customer service was amazing for how many people being served. There was a wait list and we had to wait 15 minutes. You know a place is great when there is a waiting list. Would I eat here again? Yes! This is a must go to Pho spot if you're in Houston. Best Pho in TX! I love this place can't wait to come back!!! Summary Pho Score Price (5): 5 Bowl size (5): 4 Presentation (5): 5 Herbs (5): 4.5 Noodles (5): 4.5 Meat Quality (5): 5 Portion (5): 5 Bonus meats (5): 5 Broth quality Clearness (5): 5 Spices (5): 3.5 Depth (5): 5 Balance (20): 19.25 Richness (20): 19.25 MSG aftertaste (-3): -2 Secret special factor (5): 5 Total score (100 points max): 93

Found another Gem of a place. Knew we wouldn’t be disappointed when the place is packed after the lunch hour. 2pm and they were still near full. Little to no wait, even when full. They clean and sit you down with a quickness! When you order there was some difficulty due to a language barrier, but if all else fails. Point at the items on the menu and got it situated. ;) We ordered and got our food in SECONDS! I was like what just happened? Did they know we were coming. Now the only bad thing: Order two of your drinks from the start. Because they never came back around. Couldn’t get a refill on water, order more, nothing. But other than that, the taste was awesome! Fresh, flavorful broth, meat was tender & delicious. It’s now on my list as a top Pho spot in Houston. They only have two locations sadly, both of which are on the west side of town. So if you’re in the area, you know where to go. Price right: 12 bucks for a large bowl, serving size is plentiful. Plenty of meat in the bowl. Took pictures of their current menu items and current price points. If you enjoy a great bowl of Pho, try Pho Sapa! You won’t be disappointed. Until next time.

Me and a friend came here to dine on a Sunday evening. Food was good. The place was crowded. I will be back for more.

Google
One of my favorite pho places. Pho Sapa moved last year. The new location is cleaner, brighter and more spacious. Pho broth is flavorful (not heavy nor salty). You can customize the pho bowl, choose your preferred noodle types and thickness - the typical rice, egg, or can do a mixed. I have posted a picture of the noodle option here. Friendly service, they have upgraded their system, order at the table (server carries a tablet) and pay at the counter. Efficient service (entry to exit can be as fast as 30 min). Plenty of parking. Definitely the place to go for a quick, non-fast-food lunch.

We stopped in for lunch after landing in Houston on New Year's Eve. We were seated quickly in the large dining room and service was prompt and friendly. I had the rare steak with ginger and my partner went with the combination. We both went with rice noodles. The pho broth really hit the spot after a morning of travel and didn't need add-ins for me other than fresh veggies. I did the smaller bowl and it was beyond filling. I would definitely go back.

You walk in and you are hit with the aroma of rich, incredible pho. Cheap, fantastic pho. The service is incredible here. My waitress was extremely kind and helpful, with a warm, welcoming smile. My food came out less than a minute after I ordered it! The broth has amazing light flavor and the noodles are cooked to perfection. I had the small bowl Goi Cuon, rare beef with ginger pho, and it was a steal for the amount of food you get. The ginger notes were delightful and light. Loved it. The Gia Song (springrolls) were also fantastic and perfectly cooked. I will be back here again.

Yelp
Best Pho in Houston, hands down! The restaurant cleanliness is top tier and so is their customer service. I love being able to build my own pho with their large variety of proteins. My typical selection are their Nam (brisket) & Chin (lean brisket). I always have to get their thick fresh noodles as well. Their bowl of bone marrow broth (Chen Thuy) is extremely fatty and rich in flavor. Their Goi Cuon (spring roll) is rolled fresh daily. There are other options as well if you aren't craving Pho. This family operated business never disappoint!

Joy L.

Yelp
Pho Sapa is hands down my favorite spot for pho, and I always bring out-of-town guests here. I can't count how many times I have revisited! The broth is rich and full of flavor, and love their fresh noodles. They also use fresh ingredients like tender beef and herbs. It's the perfect comfort meal, whether you're craving a quick lunch or a casual dinner. It can get really packed on weekends and rainy days but parking is usually pretty easy to find. The fast, friendly service make it even better, highly recommend! (also I love their freshly squeezed orange juice and will always get some sugarcane juice next door too)

Yelp
Last week, with the rain making us crave something warm, we decided to try out Pho Sapa, and it definitely hit the spot! I ordered Pho with rare steak, beef tendon, and fatty brisket, while my husband went for the dried seafood noodle with soup on the side. The highlight of our meal was hands down the bone marrow we got as a side--absolutely delicious! I opted for the big flat noodles instead of the regular ones, and they brought back memories of the noodles I used to have in Vietnam as a kid. The only downside was that the steak was a bit on the chewy side, which is why I'm not giving it a full 5 stars. But overall, it was a great experience, and I'm looking forward to coming back and giving it another try.

Yelp
If you asked me to write a review during that month they moved to Ai HOA Marketplace, it would be much lower. The restaurant has improved quite a bit. When I discovered Pho Sapa at its original location, it was small and overly crowded. OMG there was a line to be seated. I was glad that I waited. Yeah, I waited till August 2022 to see them at the new location where they are now. I like this location better because of the parking situation and the spacious dining room. A few years ago, I read a review by David N. There are different types of noodles in one bowl. Yeah. I drool over that. The current menu made it so easy to see and pick out what I want. I came here last Sunday and ordered Beef Shank Pho. It came with 2 little slices of shank and 2 big old chunks of oxtail and meatballs. Not sure if I got the right order. But I was hungry and I woofed them down so quick. I forgot to verify. My friend ordered a dry noodle bowl. It came with a side soup with quail eggs. So cute. He didn't like the the soup because it was too salty. Then, he copied me on getting egg noodles. Yeah, bad choice for dry noodle dish. He should had rice noodles instead.

Ivan K.

Yelp
Been here with my family several times, usually on Sunday afternoons. The parking is nuts, the prices steep and extremely crowded every time we go, but the taste of their pho is on point. The soup is right up there with the best of them in Houston. There's a reason why this place is so popular. Definitely see ourselves back here with we are in the Chinatown area and craving pho.

Shomaila Ali A.

Yelp
Went here for the first time to try the Pho here. I had the brisket pho. The toppings were served as usual (basil leaves, Serrano peppers, lime, bean sprouts) we also asked for chili oil and it had nice hint of garlic in it. The sauces and cutlery are all available on the table (sriracha sauce, pho sauce, salt, pepper, soup spoon, etc) We ordered the regular noodle pho. the meat was so tender and soft very delicious pho! Loved it 10/10 This is a small casual place with seating and the service was super fast we got our pho within 10 minutes of the order. Would definitely recommend going here for a good bowl of pho!

Yelp
This is my favorite pho and hu tieu spot in Houston. Sure, it doesn't fit the "norm" of questionably sticky tables or washed utensils aka its a super clean spot with a nicely printed menu. What sets this place apart from the others: - Tons of tender meat pieces in the pho - Broth is delicious and not overly salty - You can choose between 8 or so different types of noodles The hu tieu is also delicious and a favorite among my friends as well. Overall, the waitstaff is kind and attentive and the prices are reasonable for what you get. THE spot to go for pho or hu tieu in Houston

Mark W.

Yelp
My new favorite pho spot in Houston. The broth is really good and unique flavor. The amount of meat they give is really worth the price here. The spring roll are really refreshing. The service is really fast and you pay your tab at the back.

Richard N.

Yelp
Pho Sapa is currently my go to pho place in Bellaire. The broth is consistently good and rich, flavorful tender meats, and they offer "fresh pho noodles " if you like that traditional thick and flat noddle texture. The restaurant is clean, well -organized area for condiments and utensils. Service is fast and to the point.

Sahlee L.

Yelp
Broth is always on point . Service is nice too. This is my go to for oxtail pho. They open early and are open on Mondays which is a plus.

Emily S.

Yelp
This is my favorite pho place in Houston! Their broth is so delicious, the perfect balance between fresh and rich. I also love that they have a build-your-own option where you can choose your proteins. I always get their fatty brisket and tendon, and they are very generous with their meat portions. The inside is also clean and bright with plenty of seating. I've taken many of my friends here and they've all enjoyed it! There's a lot of pho options in Houston, but Pho Sapa is by far my favorite and worth the drive!

Kim T.

Yelp
This was a solid phở place! I didn't have high expectation before I came here but only knew that there were good opinions about it. I went for the Phở Đặc Biệt which I usually get at any vietnamese restaurant that serves phở. I was impressed that there were 2 rice noodle options: small or big. It being my first time here, I went for the small style. I also got a bowl of bone marrow on the side. Be warned, this is meat butter. If you are having health issues, please be cautious while ingesting this dish. The broth was pretty decent and had a good flavor to it. There was a good portion of meat ratio to noodles so no complaints there and the vegetables were fresh. For the bean sprouts, you could get it as steamed or not. I came here in the afternoon on a weekend but there was no wait and I was seated down right away.

Thuy P.

Yelp
Too many pho in Houston area but pho Sapa makes it thru. My 1st time here and the pho is good. The only bad thing was when were there at around close to 2pm and the sever told us the brisket meat is sold out. Wow that was too early considering the restaurant opens until 9pm I ordered to go so I didn't know about the service beside that one minute with the server at the counter.

Allison K.

Yelp
I came to Pho Sapa because I heard lots of great things about this spot but unfortunately, I did not enjoy it as much as I wanted to. The interior is spacious with plenty of tables so I was seated right away. I ordered the Pho Tai Nam (rare steak with Brisket pho). When I tasted the broth, it was definitely on the sweeter side. I wasn't a huge fan since I prefer savory. Not to mention, the soup came out lukewarm- I know it's an easy fix where I can ask them to reheat the pho so I'll just keep that in mind for next time As for the meat, it didn't taste as good/fresh as other pho spots in Bellaire. And the noodles were a little overcooked. I do think this spot was unique in a way since they offered a variety of different types of noodles (clear noodle, egg noodle, rice noodle, thick/thin etc) and I don't think I've ever seen that on menu's in other pho spots. Overall, I didn't have the best experience here but I would totally be open to try their dry noodle dishes!

Richard M.

Yelp
Has become my go to pho spot. Broth is great, place is always clean and the service is quick and friendly.

Calvin W.

Yelp
Best pho in town, hands down. Service is fast and to the point, and Sapa is often packed and loud on weekends. Ambiance may seem too clean for the food to be yummy, but the pho is absolutely deliciously positively balanced. The salt is just right, the meat flavor is perfect, and the spices top it off. I recommend the large with 4 meat options. I went with 4x brisket, threw in some basil and bean sprouts. Portions are absolutely giant! Can take you from 0 to full easily. Anytime you want the best pho in town, come here.

Allison W.

Yelp
Came here for Sunday lunch and good thing we came early because shortly after, it became packed!! The menu is simple and I just got the large pho where you can pick 4 meats. The large is actually large and it's a good amount of food. The service is nice and the food came out really fast. The inside is clean but can get loud as more people come inside.

Yelp
HOUSTON, TX 77072 / VIETNAMESE / 09-30-23 / DINNER +The broth was rich and full of umami flavor. +The portions and pricing are good. +The customer service is typical of what you get from pho restaurants. +The dry beef pho was pretty good +They have another location that just opened up in Katy, which is closer to home. -The noodles were overcooked. -The soup was not piping hot. -The hoisin sauce and sriracha tasted a little funny. -The sodium and MSG levels are a bit through the roof. Be prepared to drink a lot of water and be really sleepy for a few hours after the meal.

Yelp
Its my first time here at Pho Sapa's new digs on Bellaire and I have to say its a quite nice and a good upgrade. Faculty is quite modernly minimalistic that ditched the dingy Chinatown feel. However theres some construction in the parking long that ruining the parking experience right now. Pho Sapa is arguably some of the top names in the pho business today. I can see why. Our party ordered various combinations of pho. Coming at $12 for a bowl of pho, its a steep price even for today's standards. I ordered the dry pho that came with a bowl of meatballs, side of oyster sauce. NGL, this was worth every inch of the $12 and deliciousness. Quantity was very generous and it lasted me two meals. A buddy of mine got the pho special with a side of bones, marrow and oxtails. From the picture, you can tell his gut can barely contain all the food. The side order of bones was extremely worth. Picking off the meat and cartilage was delicious and satisfying. The side of bone marrow gave you that buttery, artery clogging feel and the oxtails itself can be a topping of meat by itself. Needless to say, we had a good time at Pho Sapa. High prices, but also generous portions and very authentic tastes. Extreme and delicious side dishes to dress your pho as well. Will have to come back for MOAR.

Yelp
My go-to spot, Pho Dien, is under renovation, so I tried out Pho Sapa, just a minute away. It felt wrong to go somewhere new, almost like cheating, but I needed to get my fix. Thankfully, Pho Sapa also uses super tender "rare steak" instead of dry eye of round beef, which is my main requirement. The meat, noodles, and soup were all delicious and up to my standards! The portions were good, they definitely didn't skimp on anything. I didn't really have any complaints, other than the slightly higher price point, but prices have been slowly going up everywhere. Still, not a bad price to pay for the perfect bowl of pho! Something that I've never seen another restaurant offer was "sour onions", or pickled onions. It was complimentary and caught me off guard. When I put them in the soup, you couldn't really taste the sour/pickled flavor. It just tasted like I added more regular onions. But I love onions so it was a win for me lol they also offered a wide noodle option for their pho. I've seen one other restaurant do this, and I wasn't a fan, so I plan on sticking to the regular, thin noodles, but it's an option if you want to try it out! Lastly, the interior and decor was very clean and cute! It felt very modern. Not like the usual, plain pho spot that isn't much to look at.

Yelp
Yum! Had a chance to visit Pho Sapa after being recommended to this restaurant by many friends. On the outside, you may think it's just any other restaurant in the midst of a pretty large Asian plaza but Pho Sapa is a hidden gem! When my partner and I walked it, we were immediately greeted and brought to our tables. This restaurant mainly serves two dishes, Pho and Hu Tieu. The menu is nice and has thick pages that are pretty sturdy and I like how it's pretty well laid out how to order and customize your pho the way you want it! You can choose from a selection of meats (up to 4) and change the noodles if you would like. I decided to go with a large bowl of Pho Tai and Nam. The pho came out pretty fast and I was impressed by how much meat they gave out. In fact, it was so MUCH meat that I ended up having to give the rest away to my partner to eat which is normally not an issue I ever face at a pho restaurant. For $12-13, I think it's a solid price for how much food you are getting. Now is this gonna be comparable to mom or grandma's home cook pho? Of course not (and don't come here expecting it to be!) but if you are looking for a pretty solid place to get pho in Houston I would definitely make a trip back. Note: There is definitely parking, but if you are coming on prime time on the weekends it may be hard to find/be super cramp.

Yelp
FINALLY had a chance to try Pho Sapa. Have heard friends and family speak very highly of this place, and I can understand why. While it's not exactly up to the hype I've heard, it's a very good pho. I can actually taste the soup bones in the stock, a lip-sticking depth you cannot get with a bouillon or stock paste like many pho places use today. The soup is a little on the sweet side for my tastes (have been making my own pho for three decades), but not overly so and probably suits a wide range of client palates. We ordered the fresh (toui) noodles today. I'm not sure how I feel about these. They tasted much like the dried noodles I sometimes get, and break up more easily than I thought they would. Next time I may try the other noodles instead. The meat was in ABUNDANCE, and was all delicious. They tasted fresh, especially the tai (rare beef), and the different brisket cuts were cooked extremely well. We also ordered the egg rolls. They were ok, good but not great, and not sure they are worth the $8. We'll stick to their namesake, the pho. Looking forward to coming back and trying it out again.

Juliana C.

Yelp
One of my favorite places for pho! The restaurant is clean and modern. The pho is delicious here and they do not skimp out on the meat.

Kristy S.

Yelp
The place was packed Saturday lunch but we got seated almost right away. I had the hu tieu dai)clear chewy noodles), my daughter had the kids pho and my dad had the shrimp pho. I liked my hu tieu broth but I didn't like having too much meat in it. I prefer shrimp , quail eggs and liver which I only got 1 of each of those. I tried my daughter's pho-- I did not like the broth. Bland. My dad didn't like his pho either. The egg rolls were good and service was very fast and friendly.

Jando S.

Yelp
Ask most Viet locals where their preferred bowl of pho is, chances are they'll mention Pho Sapa, which recently moved into one of the most Viet concentrated side of Bellaire Asiatown. Their "fresh noodles" have been a big selling point for the community, resulting in them becoming one of the busiest and well known pho spots in the entire city. The new location is an improvement from their old spot, which directly faced Kim Son's famous plaza, but was not the most visible from the main road. Their new location is not much better, but still feels newer, refreshed, and more spacious. The parking situation has also been slightly easier and the crowd is not as intense as it once was. While the broth is a little darker than I like, I give a thumbs up to their pho. Sure, the fresh noodles are an extra cost, but it's a nice differentiator compared to the other nearby spots. They don't skimp out on the meat and serve some decently sized bowls. Another thumbs up for their xi quach, which is a side flurry of meat shanks with a lot more cartilage, meats, marrow, and tendons. It usually comes with a hot sauce for dipping. It's a great addition to an already strong pho game. I don't think the service is all that warm (#1), but speaking a little Viet goes a long way. I would recommend going in a group if possible and enjoying their heavier portions in good company. (#2) ___________ (#1) Nor should they be. (#2) Me. Pick me!

Yelp
Best pho place in Texas. As close or better than the real Sa Pa in Northern Vietnam. If you eat this on a cold rainy day it's basically the same as traveling to Sa Pa, VN. Broth 5 out of 5 Meats 5 out of 5 Fat pho noodles 5 out of 5 Service 5 out of 5 Please open one in Cypress, TX near my home This place should be 5 stars and have 5k reviews

J P.

Yelp
I'm not sure what the hype about the place is about!! Every time my husband and I come here, it's a bad experience. We only come here now when one of our friends or family picks it. Yesterday we came with 2 friends. Walked in and instantly smelled like dirty mop/rag/sewage. (Just like their old location, which we boycotted for this reason). I had hope that their new location wouldn't have the same bad smell but I guess 2-3 years in now, it's starting the have the same old smell.. Now for the pho, it came out super fast which I knew was a red flag. It all went downhill from there. Noticed our bowls weren't steaming hot and didn't have the slightest bit of oil in the broth.. Took the first slurp of soup and it wasn't hot and had no flavor. Took the first bite of noodles and instantly the noodles were underdone and hard. I asked the rest of the table and all 4 of our bowls had under done noodles. Lastly, the broth has absolutely no pho aromatic flavor. Tasted like salty broth. Completely disappointing for a place that is supposedly so popular. It's clearly an overrated place.

Duong T.

Yelp
The pho at this place is simply delightful, truly the highlight of my trip. The broth is exceptional, brimming with rich flavor, and paired perfectly with the impeccably cooked smaller noodles. The brisket was tender and fresh, while the meatballs added a crunchy burst of flavor. Adding the meats used in the broth for just a few extra dollars truly elevated the experience. Although I didn't have a chance to try other items on the menu, I'll definitely do so next time. Despite the busy atmosphere, the staff efficiently handled orders and kept tables clean. Passing by Pho Sappa on my last day in Houston, I was tempted to indulge again, but with a flight looming, I had to resist. If you find yourself in the area, don't hesitate to visit this Pho restaurant - it's a must-try! Highly recommended!

Karen S.

Yelp
Food was very flavorful and rich. I liked the decor! And noodles are the best I have ever tasted! The service also was very nice and everything was very clean.

Long N.

Yelp
Very clean restaurant and the orders came out really fast. For me, the broth isn't there yet in terms of flavors. It lacks the umaminess I expect in Pho. However the meat quality was great and it's clear which is which in my combination bowl (other places its hard to tell).

Miguel M.

Yelp
When I want a bowl of pho in Houston, I typically head to Pho Dien, which I was bummed to find today that they will be under renovation until early November. I was still badly craving pho, so I remembered several friends raving about Pho Sapa. I was pleasantly surprised to see Pho Sapa was only about a minute away so I immediately made my way over. The parking situation for the shopping complex that Pho Sapa sits in is a wild free-for-all, but once you find a spot and you make your way in, you'll find that the modern-style restaurant is well-lit and feels very clean (which is a big thing for me). Once seated, my partner and I flipped through the menu (which was made out of a nice, thick material) and promptly ordered two Large Pho Bowls with Rare Steak and Brisket (you could choose up to 4 different meats). I believe the price was maybe $1-2 more than what I usually pay for a large bowl, but I was impressed by how fast our bowls were served to us, which was less than 5 minutes after we had ordered. What was most impressive, however, were the portions and the quality of the ingredients they used for their pho bowls. I typically pace myself to eat a proportional amount of meat with my pho noodles, but since they served a lot of large and tender pieces of meat in my bowl, I was able to enjoy both my pho noodles and meat without worrying about having to pace myself with each bite. I could not believe how delicious the meal was and practically could not stop savoring the dish, only stopping every so often to exclaim to my partner how generous the portions were and how good it was overall. I have, without a doubt, been converted to now going to Pho Sapa as my go-to pho restaurant. I will for sure be recommending this place to both friends and family whenever there is a craving for pho.

L N.

Yelp
Our first meal in Houston was at Pho Sapa, and the bar was set high! There were four of us, and we each got the pho tai bo viên with two bowls of bone marrow on the side. I really enjoyed the pho's broth because it was light yet flavorful, not too heavy. It was my first time trying bone marrow, and it was such a treat! The smokiness really added a whole layer of depth to the flavor. The restaurant was really clean, and I loved the modern atmosphere compared to your typical pho place. The staff was really nice. I didn't get a text for my receipt, but she was happy to reprint a new one for me. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would definitely love to come back here!

Nhi V.

Yelp
Pho Sapa has never done me wrong. This was the first "good good" pho place that I discovered in Houston and it's been a stable since for my family and friends. I love their spring rolls and their fresh pho noodle. Def recommend trying out their dry pho! Something about a thick saucy bowl of noodle filled with vegetables and protein, with a bowl of delicious pho broth on the side. Finally, if you're up for something hearty, get the bowl of bone marrow with an egg (pictured). That bowl itself would probably cost $30 at an American restaurant.

Yelp
General Description: A pho restaurant. The Good: - You know it's legit when the employees speak very little english ( I mean that in a good way). - Broth is light and has a twist of their proprietary flavor. I'm pretty sure my good friend MSG was involved :) - Lots of meat. - Clean The Bad: - I wish some of the menu items were listed in english. Overall: I definitely would come back. By the way, this review is coming from someone that's not from the Houston area.

Yelp
This place is always crowded all the time, so I took some out of town family to try this place. We were lucky didn't have to wait long. Pho soup doesn't have the pungent aroma of the spices. The meat and meatballs are good. I prefer my pho broth stronger. They don't have chicken pho , it's a pity.

Yelp
This is one of the good and authentic pho spot in Houston. It is very busy especially during the weekends so plan for visit. The broth is every clear and flavorful, meat is tender, vegetable is every fresh and it comes with plenty of thin or flat pho noodles. However, I do not like their dry pho or hu tieu but it is ok because there are other restaurants for that, this is a pho place. I prefer to eat there, for some reasons their takeout taste different .

Yelp
New location! This new location is bigger and has way more parking! The portions are generous. Broth is clear and on the sweeter side. Meat is cut thick but still tender. I recommend the fresh pho noodles!

Yelp
Food is great! Pho broth was flavorful! They don't go cheap on meats at all! Hu tieu is also very good! My wife was killing the soup and even the pork bones. She usually prefers the thick noodles. Service was not bad. Our waiter had kind of a bad attitude.... But the guy that brought the food out in the cart was friendly. It was an older gentleman. Ambiance was nice and clean.

Yelp
For the longest time Pho Dien has had my undying loyalty when it comes to pho supremacy. I recently got put onto Pho Sapa and I am really impressed. For me, the broth is key and this place delivers. I don't even have to add sriracha. It's perfect. The generous meat portions are clutch. Never had I gotten to the bottom of the bowl and there is still meat left. Just wow. The shrimp spring rolls and Vietnamese coffee is also must try. You can also customize the type of noodles. Just amazed and I will be back!

Yelp
The restaurant is pretty spacious and clean. Since it's so open the chattering from the other tables echoes but it's nothing too obtrusive. There's also soft piano music playing and it fits with the vibe of the restaurant. We were sat right under the air conditioner so we were freezing the whole time. I ordered the large bowl of pho tai nam and the broth was hot but I wish it was steaming since that's how I like it. There was a good portion of meat, the onions and toppings really add a lot of flavor to the dish. Everything tasted very fresh and authentic.

Yelp
Okay, while on my trip to Houston from Colorado I tried another Pho spot in the heart of the Bellaire area when is know for a lot of great Vietnamese food. I came across Pho Sapa which showcased a HUGE BOWL of Chen Xi Quach (beef bone) and was a must try! The pho bowls only come in one size so along with the Combination Pho I ordered some bread and beef bone. The bread complimented the pho so nicely as you could dip it right into the broth for it to soak up all the goodness. The beef bones fell right off and I usually mix sriracha and hoisin to dip it in but the dish also came along with along spicy sauce that was something I've never tried which had a kick to it but tasted amazing! Not only did the broth taste amazing but you make it to your liking but adding additional hoisin for sweetness and sriracha for that added spice. I would say this hands down is my favorite pho spot in Houston! It opens at 8am which is crazy but had so many people in there on a Saturday at 10am. (Was almost packed to capacity) This place is a MUST TRY!

Yelp
Saw a line outside, and I've never seen a line outside for a pho restaurant, assumed it had to be good. Verdict is: it was a pretty good pho place. The line wasn't bad overall, it was moving-less than 30 min wait for a Sunday brunch time. The broth = excellent. brisket meat - tender and noodles - soft. Overall a great bowl of pho. Not sure if I would ever come back to wait during this time, but I would come back for sure!

Yelp
I ordered the brisket pho, and although the meat was very tender and juicy, the broth was very oily, which was not expected at all. The slices of ginger gave the broth a good snap, but again, the oily broth was not comforting. The environment was clean and organized, and the restaurant was full of customers. The service was friendly and helpful, which made the meal bearable. I probably won't go there again because I do not like a broth that is full of chicken/beef oil.

Yelp
When it comes to pho, the broth is the main attraction. Pho Sapa's broth was so rich and flavorful. I was shocked how good the broth was when I took my first sip. There was plenty of meat in the bowl and the amount of noodle was sufficient. I ordered the fresh noodles with the boiled bean sprouts. Pho Sapa is definitely one of the top pho spot in Houston.

Yelp
Hands down the best pho I've ever had at a restaurant. My sisters and I came to Houston for good eats and this was indeed the pho spot to go to. The broth was nice and rich. Yum!

Yelp
Been coming here for the past 8 months, I really enjoy the pho here. However today I placed a to-go order which I have never done before, because I have always eaten at the restaurant. They gave me 1 hoisin sauce and 1 Sriracha. I politely asked can I have extra they said no, and I will have to pay $4 for the extra sauce. Which I thought was ridiculous because if I was eating there I would be able to use the whole bottle of sauce if i wanted. I really wish I was treated differently, because not only was my pho $25.37 I also tipped. So its never about the money. Lol...I just wanted extra sauce

Yelp
BEST PHO IN TOWN! I love their large rice noodle option and don't let the small bowl fool you as there's plenty to leave you in a decent coma afterwards. The family and I enjoy their hu tieu options too as it's not often you have a good restaurant serve both. Their fried bread sticks also go well on both soup options too. Certainly don't knock it till you try it. Really glad they relocated to a larger space as that certainly minimized the wait times, however, come early on the weekends as they do fill up fast.
