The food here is amazing! In house made pasta will ruin you for grocery store boxed pasta. Service was equally as great. Don't miss out on this place it's definitely worth checking out!

We had reservations for four and we were seated right away. We decided to sit out in the patio. The inside has a great ambiance as well, family friendly yet not too noisy. The miss Sunshine cocktail is delicious and refreshing. We had the melon and prosciutto for appetizer which has a perfect balance of sweet and savory. Caprese salad was good to not get full before the main course. We had Margherita Pizza, Lobster ravioli, Fettuccine Alfredo and Tagliatelle Bolognese. The presentation was not the best, that’s why I’m removing a star. However all the food was seasoned well and tasted delicious. The service was great, attentive and kind.

This is not the place you go to for quick service & that's perfectly fine. The service was excellent, waitress gave good recommendations and alternatives. The drinks were 10/10 (hugo and aperol spritz). Food took a while to arrive, which was okay by us since not only was it delicious, but it gave us time to relax and enjoy our time there. Already looking forward to coming back and trying the other dishes.

My friend and I loved this place! Had reservations and were seated right away! Our server was amazing and knowledgeable about the dishes. Would go back and sit on the patio! Really enjoyed the coffee and dessert- it was extra good!

Ambiance and service (Ruby) were great. Some menu Items were a hit and some underwhelming. The pasta sauce recipes need a rework. Flavors are to sterile, clean flavors would be expected in this style of restaurant but the depth is lacking. Tomato sauce is flat , Bolognese was hoping for a hint of sweetness but I don’t think carrot is used. The quality of ingredients were very good. Shrimp was perfectly executed but the pasta sauce was missing a certain sharpness. Overall enjoyed experience.

Our family had an exceptional dining experience! The service was seamless and attentive from start to finish. Every dish was cooked to absolute perfection—flavorful, authentic, and beautifully presented. The bright, welcoming atmosphere made us feel right at home. We’ll definitely be returning—this place is a true gem!

Piattello is our go-to restaurant for both date nights and dinner with friends. The service and food are consistently wonderful and the restaurant itself is beautiful. We typically make a reservation as I get the feeling that this is the place to be! We had another great experience here last night. Our server Jackie was knowledgeable and friendly, and even thought to bring out my one year old’s meal first so we could get him situated before our entrees arrived. We always end with coffee, dessert, and a discussion about how soon we can come back! You can’t go wrong choosing Piattello for your night out.

The lovely wife and I went for date night because we were craving Italian. Definitely try to make reservations. We got lucky and the amazing hostess was able to get us in within an hour. From there we were seated at a fantastic table which was there almost floor to ceiling windows the ambience of the restaurant is very cozy. Even a great place to bring kids with the outdoor patio. The service was phenomenal and their happy hour prices are a steel. Highly recommend the bread and cheese. That was the best thing on the menu. All the other Italian food was pretty good. In the pictures my wife had the Bolognese and I have the eggplant Parmesan. It was pretty expensive for the quality. Which is the only reason fir four stars instead of five. Everything else was perfect.

Yelp
I've been a regular at Piatello, and I absolutely love this place! One of my all-time favorite dishes is the Mafaldine Cacio e Pepe with added sausage--it's a delicious twist that never disappoints. Their incredible drink selection perfectly complements the meal, and every visit confirms how clean and welcoming the restaurant is. The staff are always super helpful, making it an ideal spot for families. The outdoor patio is a standout feature it's upscale yet relaxed, and there's a space right off the patio for kids to play and run around so parents can enjoy their time while kids are happily entertained. Even the bathrooms are meticulously clean. Whether you're looking for an upscale dining experience that doesn't compromise on family-friendliness or just a reliable spot for consistently amazing food, Piatello is a must-visit!

Yelp
Out of this world. There was nothing I didn't like to eat here. My wife and I started with the Calamari and Watermelon salad. Uh to die for. The Calamari was accompanied with fried olives. Which I would solely go for. For our entrees I got the lasagna and my wife got the Mafaldine Cacio E Pepe. Both were excellent and especially loved the Al dente cook on the Mafaldine. We ended the night with Pistachio cake. Which was a perfect blend of sweet and savory with a combination of crunch. Which gave it the perfect bite. The ambiance was warm and inviting with a lot of greenery. I always love seeing plants in restaurants!!! All that being said the service was subpar. I feel for the look, feel and taste of this place it should have been at a higher standard. Our waiter failed to check on us several times. I figured after being served he would check and see how the food was or we were. We were almost left to fend for ourselves for little things like salt even the check. Mind you it wasn't even that busy as we had a 8:30 reservation and it started to die down as soon as we got there. I will although I didn't receive quality service I did tip 20%. I'm not sure if it was his first week or the training he received but I've gotten better service at a Waffle House. This is why I'm only giving them 4 stars if the service was just slightly better I'd give it a 5. That being said I would definitely go again and hope for a better server.

Yelp
It has been a very long time since I ate Italian in Fort Worth. There are not many mom and pop types, which has kept me at bay. We finally decided to come in the day before Valentine's to enjoy some good Italian food. At first we were seated at a very small table (a small rounded table suitable for drinks and maybe one appetizer) and it was really the only one around. Luckily, the hostess found another normal sized table for us. It immediately felt better. Josh was our waiter and a great one! He was perky and communicated well about specials and favorites. To start, we ordered the Brussels sprouts, calamari, and chianti. The wine was good. The Brussels sprouts were the BEST I've had. Wonderful crisp layers that crunched and almost evaporated in the mouth. The balsamic vinegar was sweet and slightly acidic for the perfect bite. I'm telling you, order the Brussels sprouts!! The calamari was also good; however I am partial to a chunky marinara dip with lots of fresh lemon juice. My husband prefers the creamy dip and enjoyed it very much. One surprise was the fried olives. The olives were plump, not so salty, and had a light breading layer. It was delightful. For the main, we ordered based on Josh's recommendations. The saffron linguine with extra spice and the short rib. The short rib is seasonal and you can only get during the winter time. You should run here to eat it. It was the best short rib I've had from a restaurant. You could taste the wine that the short rib was braised in and it has a nice sauce, but the item that took this meal over the top was the creamy, cheesy polenta. I will always want short rib over polenta now instead of mashed potatoes. The cheesy polenta was almost like a custard in its creaminess. You could definitely taste the wonderful parmesan that went in there. The only downside was I wanted more! The saffron linguine was good too, believe me. I also loved the extra spice that the waiter recommended. The pasta was cooked just right and the shrimp was juicy. We saved a bit of each item so we could save room for dessert. I am a bit of a tiramisu fanatic. We ordered along it with decaf cappuccinos. This was the only let down of the night. Not tiramisu by any means. Tiramisu inspired cake. No lady fingers and the mascapone layers were way too thick and heavy. Also, the chocolate chips on top were unnecessary in my humble tiramisu opinion. This is a very heavy cake. If you love traditional tiramisu, I recommend ordering something else on the menu because this will not satisfy your craving. We had an excellent dinner at Piattello. I will definitely come back for the great service, and my two new favorite restaurant items in Fort worth: the Brussels sprouts and the short rib. It's also a fun vibe to grab drinks with friends if you're not wanting a dinner date.

Yelp
welcoming ambiance with an open floor plan that gives a clear view into the kitchen and bar. The seating is mostly half booths, creating a comfortable yet lively atmosphere. The service was excellent--our waiter took the time to recommend wines based on our preferences, and his suggestions were spot-on. As for the food, everything we tried was delicious. We stopped in for a late dinner and enjoyed splitting a few appetizers before diving into a well-made lasagna. Overall, a great place for a relaxed meal with good food, attentive service, and a stylish setting!

mikeila s.

Yelp
For our appetizer me and my boyfriend started with the meatballs, but they came out pretty cold. The staff was really kind and quick to bring us a new order but we were told it had been happening, which I thought was kind of strange for a restaurant like this. For our mains, we ordered the Lasagna and Fettuccine Alfredo. My boyfriend liked his lasagna but overall, we both thought dishes were just okay. Not bad, but definitely not as good as I expected for the price. The best part of the experience was definitely the amazing staff and atmosphere. I just wish the food had matched that level, because I really wanted to love it.

Yelp
Beautiful restaurant! Our server Johnathan was very attentive and knowledgeable super friendly! The food.. oh is superb! I had the lobster ravioli. This restaurant makes their pasta fresh daily! My husband had the special which was redfish. It was such a satisfying meal. We will be back and encourage everyone to go! Oh and my cocktail drink Miss Sunshine was perfect for a summer evening!

Janis O.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I had such an amazing time at Piattello last night. We had been hearing about this place for years but once I saw the videos of the food on TikTok I booked a reservation. We started with the Ricotta & Sourdough per our waiters recommendation. It was fresh and the bread was lightly toasted with fancy olive oil. We split the water melon salad, huge portion, thought they brought out 2, it was so so good. For our entrees we shared a Vegetale pizza which is apparently new, I got the summer Mezzeluna, and my boyfriend got the Taglietelle Bolognese. Pizza was thin crust so not too heavy, definitely shareable. The mezzeluna was light with summer flavors. The bolognese was a little rich for my taste but my boyfriend loved it. It was HUGE, you will need a box for sure. We finished our meal with the tiramisu of course and some house made lemoncello! Highly recommend this spot. Our waitress said they have deals every weeknight so we can't wait to go back! Ruby took such great care of us, recommending dishes, always filling our drinks, and making us feel like we've known her for years. We will be asking to sit with her again and you should too! Thanks to Ruby and the whole Piattellos team!

Yelp
How is there alil' bit of Italy in Texas? I do not know but it is here ;D My husband and I were shocked at the authentic flavors. They bounced off the plate and transported us back to the tiny boot abroad with their homemade pasta and sauces. WE ORDERED: Tagliatelle Bolognese Eggplant Parmigiana They were each 5 stars and that was on a to-go order (which says ALOT.). With a rotating menu, we are excited to go back, check out the ambiance and enjoy more! Heck, we may even sit on their nice patio with a glass of wine. ;D
google avatar

Sharay D.

Yelp
Our server Hannah was great. The ricotta cheese and sourdough bread was very good. The cheese was creamy and went well with the sourdough. The zucchini blossoms were fried and served over sauce. I was caught off guard with the rabbit ( I thought the sauce would be thicker) As you can see, it was very watery. The rabbit was shredded and it was alot of meat. My noodles weren't al dente...alot were still very much undercooked. Overall it was good. I would come back...

Yelp
My friend and I had a wonderful dinner last night at Piattello's! Amanda, our server, recommended a great off-menu mocktail for me and a glass of wine for my friend. For dinner, we shared garlic bread with marinara sauce and a Caesar salad. I ordered the tagliatelle bolognese which was incredible. Everything came out piping hot and was absolutely delicious. Amanda spaced out each of our courses and made sure we were never empty-handed. We felt very taken care of by the end of the night! I'll definitely be returning with my husband and asking for Amanda!

Yelp
Staff and service was great! Food was good but seemed overpriced for portion size. Inside was spacious and outdoor patio was cute as well.

Brian S.

Yelp
Had a nice dinner for two at Piatelllo. Service was excellent and the food was good! Ordered the sourdough and ricotta, meatballs, watermelon salad (seasonal) to start. The watermelon salad was the standout and I would absolutely order that again. For the main course, we ordered the lasagna and the vegetale pizza. Both were good and would recommend. My wife ordered the frozen rose and loved it. We will return to Piatello!

Yelp
Went to Piattello tonight for the first time in 3 years. This place will greet you with the nicest host who seemed very happy to see us. The ambiance was very nice and welcoming. Our waiter he was more confident and good. He knew his menu and the food and knew his job. I appreciate a waiter who is very good his job and knows he doesn't have to pander for tips by being overly nice. We started with the Crostini and the meatballs. The Crostini was fantastic and had good flavor in the pea purée. The meatballs were served with the tomato sauce that was fantastic and you could tell was fresh. The meatballs themselves seemed a bit average were served lukewarm. We then had the Spring Cappalletti and margarita pizza. The Cappalletti was fantastic that was served with a mint butter cream sauce that was really good. The margarita pizza had a fantastic flavor on the sauce and the basil tasted like it was picked that day. We ended the evening with the pistachio cake and the Affagato. The Affagato had a solid flavored espresso that was served with a good vanilla bean ice cream. The pistachio cake had a sponge that was clearly made from scratch and topped with a chocolate ganache that had a sea salt in it. It was very good and the pistachio in the sponge was delicious. I can't wait to come back to try some other stuff on the menu.

Yelp
Piattello is excellent. My favorite dish is their Bolognese. The service is great, the dining room is open. They have a cute little outdoor patio, very perfect for nice weather. There are always a lot of children, so they must be very family friendly, although I don't have small children, so I'm just assuming. I will definitely be back.

Yelp
Atmosphere was great! Our server Amanda was awesome and would definitely come back again!

Yelp
This is one of the best authentic Italian restaurants in the DFW area. The consistency and quality of food is just out of this world. Every time I visit I have an amazing experience. On Sundays, they do Sunday gravy and they started a Chicken Parmesan special on Wednesdays. Their house-made vanilla ice cream is the most special ice cream I've ever tasted, period. Everybody is friendly and it feels like they've all worked there for so long. The ambiance is clean and simple. They have two sister restaurants in Fort Worth as well, Provender Hall in the Stockyards and Clay Pigeon on White Settlement Rd. I'm also obsessed with Clay Pigeon!

Yelp
My favorite Italian place in Fort Worth. Who doesn't love fresh pasta and boy is it yum! This place never fails. I like to start with the calamari, the fried olives are a nice touch! I love the standard fresh pasta staples on the menu, this time I had the lobster cream ravioli, but I think some seasonal specials or rotations would be nice. On occasion there is a special and i'm always quick to ask the waiter if they have any for the night. I find that most don't seem to advertise them without being prompted. For dessert the tiramisu is great, I just wish they would bring back the cannolis!

Yelp
We decided to get dinner on a Friday night here. The ambiance is very open yet intimate. Nice big windows looking out into what seems like a little courtyard/play area. We ordered We decided to get dinner on a Friday night here. The ambiance is very open yet intimate. Nice big windows looking out into what seems like a little courtyard/play area. We ordered the house ricotta & sourdough - this was delicious! I ordered the Mafaldine Cacio E Pepe and my boyfriend ordered the Lobster ravioli and pepperoni pizza. The lobster inside the pasta was not cooked evenly but the fresh lobster sprinkled on top was delicious. For dessert, we ordered the Tiramisu which was average. The seasonal Paloma Italian (Lunazul Blanco, Campari, Grapefruit juice, Lime Juice and Agave) was delicious. Service was attentive. The restaurant is slightly overpriced. There is plenty of parking!

Yelp
We just returned from the WORST dining experience I've had in years. We were seated in the side portion of the restaurant to celebrate a birthday with friends. A table of 16 teenagers were seated and proceeded to start yelling and disrupting the dinner service. The management and staff did NOTHING when approached, other than to ask if profanity was being used. It was so loud it was hard to tell. The group were pounding the table so hard that it was hard not to notice. I understand the behavior in a bar room, but not here. I asked them to please keep it down but didn't make much of a difference. The food was average and service not much better. Save your time and energy, there are better choices out there.

Yelp
Drove 30 minutes to get this because I previously came here, and they assured me it was gluten free. This time I received different shaped noodles which tells me this one probably IS NOT gluten free. Hostess taking the phone order wasn't very informed, which is probably what went wrong this time.

Yelp
Delicious Sunday dinner with girlfriends. Started with the chef's crostini (not pictured) which was great but maybe not needed if you get the whipped ricotta with sourdough as an appetizer. Loved the tortelloni with brown butter and marcona almonds. Meatballs were tasty. Both desserts were "I'll order this again" worthy. Excellent drinks and five star service.

Zach W.

Yelp
I want to start off with the customer service and atmosphere are great. However, I was very disappointed in the food. It wasn't terrible, but it was way overpriced for the portion size and overall flavor. The calamari was mid at best. The caesar salad didn't taste like caesar at all, which is was bummed about. I got the fettuccine Alfredo and you can't swap the shrimp out for chicken without adding a $13 up charge which was absolutely insane to me. I figured it would be the best chicken I'd ever had - it honestly tasted like Walmart rotisserie chicken. It was good texture though. The Alfredo was Olive Garden equivalent. My girlfriend got the rigatoni alla Vodka and it was more like half cooked pasta with spicy marinara. It wasn't bad but wasn't what we expected on anything. Overall not horrible but absolutely overpriced for what you get. $160 for a very mid meal is insane.

Yelp
I'm posting this a little late, we dined here on Friday, 3/08/23. First things first, this restaurant is well appointed. Low lightning, cute candles on the tables, white table cloths, servers with white button down shirts and black aprons. It's quite a pretty spot. Our server, Amanda, was very sweet and always smiling. =) I wasn't quite sure what to expect food-wise because I really love Cacio e Pepe, and some of the pictures on Yelp made it look a smidge soupy. Turns out people should take more pictures because it was perfectly creamy and wonderful, though I would have preferred angel hair or linguini. But before the lovely Cacio e Pepe, my best friend and I enjoyed brussel sprouts and ricotta with sourdough. The brussel sprouts were sweet, salty, and divine. The ricotta was seasoned beautifully and topped with olive oil, but it definitely lacked in salt. Seasoning falls a little flat if you don't enhance it with a little salt. They offer sea salt so we sprinkled a little on the ricotta and that made it perfect. I actually don't typically like sourdough bread but theirs is actually great. The Tagliatelle Bolognese was extremely good, tagliatelle is one of my favorite pasta shapes for meat sauces. The pork bolognese was probably the best I've ever had. It wasn't a soup of tomato sauce, it was a proper bolognese cooked in its own juices. I mean... that pork was tender as all get out. But then we come back to that Cacio e Pepe... It really was so excellent that it deserved to open and close this review. lol

Steve S.

Yelp
first off, the space inside is very nice, the staff were pleasant, and love the open kitchen...it's the price of the food that is the issue...we ordered a pepperoni pizza, a side of garlic bread, and the lobster ravioli...the ravioli were filled well, but very small, and they only gave you 7 (it was also not hot when it arrived)...the wood-fired pizza was nicely cooked, but didn't have much pepperoni, and was pretty small for the price ($21)...the garlic toast was 3 pieces of small bread with very little butter and garlic on it (not on par with the quality of the other 2 dishes)...the food was just over-priced for what it was (our bill before tip ended up being $63, $30 of which was for the ravioli, which was just "ok")...the food is just not good enough to justify this price-point...

Yelp
So many great things about this restaurant. Wonderful and attentive service from the moment you arrive. It smells like all the Italian flavors you love when you walk in. Fun drink selections and wonderful desserts.

Yelp
Saturday. March 18, 2023. Dinner. Made reservations for four at 8 pm. We were seated immediately. This place is located in a relatively new strip mall. My wife and I decided not to drink, so we ordered Cokes ($2 each) and waters. The inside is fancy with dimly lit, mood lighting. I really wanted the lasagna bolognese ($27), which was listed as "when available". Lasagna had beef, pork, marinara, ricotta and grana Padano. The waitress told me I got lucky because there were only five left. About a minute later she returned and announced they were sold out. She suggested the Amatricana ($22), which was "just as good ". The Amatricana had pancetta, tomato, chili flakes, red onion and pecorino. I ordered it. I doubt the Amatricana was as good as the lasagna. It had too many red pepper flakes and was over spiced. For dessert, my wife and I shared the carrot cake $10. This cake had good flavor and was super moist. The frosting wasn't too sweet or thick. My wife had the lobster ravioli for $30. She said her ravioli turned out to be just average. Altogether we paid $194.86 for four people. This included 4 main entrees, 3 adult drinks, 2 Cokes, and 3 desserts. A bit pricey considering the Italian food to be about average at best.

Yelp
Out for white bolognese, I headed to executive chef & owner, Marcus's Piattello Italian Kitchen in Ft. Worth. Chef Marcus has previously been executive chef for Neighborhood Services in Dallas. "Since opening his own restaurants he has garnered critical and commercial acclaim and has been featured in local and national media, including: CBS This Morning Saturday, Food & Wine, USA Today, Men's Journal, Men's Health, Good Day Fox 4, Fort Worth Star-Telegram, Texas Monthly, Fort Worth Texas Magazine, D Magazine and more." ~piattelloitaliankitchen.com We ordered: *HOUSE RICOTTA & SOURDOUGH (Beware $1 if you say yes to more bread) *GARLIC BREAD *LITTLE GEM *CAESAR *LASAGNA BOLOGNESE *TAGLIATELLE BOLOGNESE *TORTA CIOCCOLATO *LATTES Everything was delicious and service was on point. The white bolognese stole the show. It was phenomenal!

Yelp
Being from the northeast, I'm pretty picky when it comes to Italian food so I wasn't really sure how great it would be in Texas. This spot was surprisingly good though! I went with some coworkers when visiting the area for work. We shared an off menu burrata flatbread as an appetizer and each of us had a pasta dish. All the food and drinks were yummy. They had a bunch of drink specials the night we were there which was a bonus! Our waiter was very nice and friendly.
google avatar

Yelp
I had high hopes for this place, but was slightly disappointed by the experience. I felt like the appetizers shined more than the main entrees: Get the whipped ricotta and brussels sprouts! The cacio e pepe tasted like pasta water and noodles with a slight touch of cheese. The bolognese and specialty pastas were a little over-salted. The pasta was cooked just right, but that alone was not enough to make up for the disappointment that was the cacio e pepe. Piatello is a tad overpriced for what you get. Sure, it's worth a try, but nothing super special sticks out about it. Ambience and vibes were immaculate, otherwise. The service was excellent!

Yelp
I've been craving calamari lately. Typed it in Yelps search, and here we are! 5/12/23 at 5 PM- Sat at the bar (receipt says Sarah R) Calamari- for $18 is quite disappointing. Unfortunately didn't hit the spot. I'd give it a 3/5. The olives tossed in were tasty. Haven't had battered/fried olives before. Could've used more dipping sauce. The smear on the bowl is cute but not enough. We sat at the bar, knowing this was all I was coming in for and decided to grab a drinks while we waited. My husband mentioned wanting to try the featured frozen cocktail, which I asked may we taste it first. Bartender said she doesn't usually give taste but she would. She brought back a sample for myself and a full glass for my husband. (Odd to not let patrons taste a premade frozen featured cocktail. Wouldn't you rather let someone have a sip Vs ordering and saying they don't like it? Also seemed to have an attitude when she said it.). I ordered a glass of Prosecco and got our bill after we received our calamari. Bartender had friends (or could've just been regulars) on the other side of the bar that seemed to get all of her attention and friendliness. Piatello isn't too far from Clearfork. We will drive the extra 5-10 mins for better service.

Yelp
My husband's second night here after moving to Texas. We googled Italian restaurants and this came up and what a gem. The little area has a common field and seating area for anybody to come sit in with a multitude of restaurants all around. Our server was amazing and was very professional!! We started with the ricotta and sourdough bread, which was a restaurant specialty, and absolutely the best I've ever had. We also have the salad with pinenuts and for our dinner we have the fish special and shrimp and linguine. Don't forget to have dessert because the Panna cotta and carrot cake was nothing but the best. We will definitely come back here again with my sister and enjoy every morsel. .

Yelp
Been here a few times. Service was excellent the decor is classy and the appetizer were really good, BUT. I do not like al denta pasta and all three of our group ( part of a larger group) did not eat their meal or even care to take it home. Tab $175,,, doubt I will ever go back

Yelp
Piatello has been me and my girlfriend's date night spot for years. Finally decided to leave a review. We come here for special occasions when we want an intimate night out. The atmosphere is great, I love the kitchen being out in the open makes me feel more connected to the restaurant. Our server Ninett is always a big help and provides the best service. Every server here seems to be like that. We try and get something different everytime we come. It's an amazing place and would recommend to anyone or any family for a night out.

Yelp
Was recommended this place by some other FW Foodies and was told this was some of the best Italian food in Fort Worth. I can confirm that they are not wrong!! We started out with some warm sourdough drizzled with olive oil and house ricotta. The bread was fresh and crispy from being toasted -- they even brought us some extra bread when we ran out. The caprese salad was also very good and light, the half melted cheese on top was amazing. I highly recommend the lasagna. They make this in limited batches and when they run out, they are out for the day. The "W/A" on the menu means "when available", so you know it sells out. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is for the service we received on a relatively slow Monday evening and obvious leaky spot in the ceiling, along with dust filled return vents above where you're eating. Our server started off really attentive, but after we placed our food order, he disappeared for what seemed like 30+ mins. Will definitely be back in hopes to bump this from a 4 to a 5!

Yelp
With my birthday a couple days away and a craving for Italian food, we found ourselves at Piattello's. Overall, it was a solid choice. It's not my favorite Italian spot but we enjoyed our time and plan to go back in the future. First, it's a little bit hard to find. The restaurant is pushed back off Convair Road, so if you park around Steel City Pops or REI, you're in the right place. The hostess was a bit standoffish as we were trying to check in but our service with our waitress Amanda were great. I forgot to take a picture but we ordered the house ricotta and sourdough bread which was worth the money. So glad we didn't settle on regular garlic bread. For our main dishes, we ordered two types of pasta and the portions were plentiful. I had the lobster ravioli which was very flavorful with brandy, cream, and tarragon. However, the lobster inside the pasta wasn't cooked evenly. I mostly enjoyed the fresh lobster sprinkled on top of the dish. My partner got the Amatriciana pasta which was a tomato base sauce with a little kick to it. We finished off the evening by sharing a large piece of tiramisu. It's one of the only Italian spots in the neighborhood so we plan on coming back to try a few more dishes.

Yelp
Our server was amazing! She was so sweet and really walked us through the menu from drinks, appetizers, to dinner! She helped make a spontaneous date night incredible. The food was amazing. Be sure to visit!

Yelp
Great service and atmosphere - the calamari was so so - the sour dough bread appetizer was good - I had the chicken parm at the recommendation of the waitress and it was so so as well - but overall a nice place to enjoy dinner with family and friends

Yelp
This was my first visit and I was honestly disappointed with both the food quality and service. We waited 30+ minutes from when our appetizer came out (which wasn't very good) to get our entrees. It was a Monday. I was just really underwhelmed and don't think I'll be back. At least my drink was really good...

Yelp
Very cute place, nice bar set up. Excellent drink menu, especially the seasonal - which all sounded delicious. I opted for the sangria and my man had an amaretto sour - we enjoyed them. Our server, Sur, was absolutely fantastic - knowledgeable and attentive. He had good recommendations and he was SUCH a joy, and we will definitely be back, and ask for him!! We started with the house ricotta and sourdough, and it was delicious, and a perfect sized way to start our meal. Not heavy, at all, and it had a great flavor to it. My man got the tagliatelle bolognese, while I got the mafaldine cacio e pepe and both were one of the best we've ever had!! Both sauces weren't heavy at all (which is a plus with pasta) and the pasta was absolutely divine. On this visit, we opted out of dessert, but we have our eye on the tiramisu or the panna cotta. The only thing we wish we could see here is a little bit of a bigger menu, as the menu is very small, and we wish we had more options, but again, what we had was pretty outstanding!

Yelp
We came here for our anniversary and it was overall a great experience. The restaurant has a nice ambiance, quiet lighting and music. Our waitress was very sweet and helpful. The food was seasoned perfectly, it's simple and just right. And they serve a decent amount of food on your plate. I had the roasted chicken and my husband had the daily fish and they're both amazing. Would recommend 100%!

Yelp
Went to dinner tonight. Ambiance is nice and servers are nice but food was not worth it. Overly expensive, for what it was. Usually Italian places give you complimentary bread, well not here, we ordered the appetizer bread and it was 2/5, four small pieces that were too dry. The pasta was meeeh, 7/10, nothing impressive. I was disappointed in this place.

Yelp
One of my favorite Italian restaurants! I've been here a handful of times and have never been disappointed. The ambiance feels very open yet intimate. Nice big windows looking out into what seems like a little courtyard/play area. Recently went for my birthday and had another wonderful experience. My family and I have tried most if not all items on the menu -- loooooove love love the house ricotta and the meatballs. My favorite entre is the Tagliatelle Bolognese, but I can't say there's a dish I haven't enjoyed. I really enjoy the wine variety, especially since they carry Italian wines. The Limoncello is STRONG but delicious. I believe they make it in-house. Service has always been attentive and excellent. Can't wait to come back!

Yelp
Obsessed and cannot stop coming back. This review is long overdue so I can't even remember all the things I've tried here but I'll go through the most unforgettable dishes. 1. Ricotta and sourdough. This is a must. If you don't have room for anything else, order it anyway. It's just as good as a leftover. Their ricotta is just immaculate. You can even get it reinvented in their cannoli which comes with chocolate ganache and orange marmalade. 2. Cacio e Pepe. The pasta here is always peeeerrrrfectly al dente and the combinations they come up with are insane but even the simple options are great. Once I had some braised lamb with yogurt sauce, amazing. 3. My favorite salad is this crunchy autumnal number I am looking forward to revisiting come fall. Otherwise, the chopped salad and Caesar are some delicious classics. 4. The pizzas are so dang good. Some are spicy, some are sweet and they are all so decadently layered with a multitude of flavors. Don't know that I have a fave here. Service is always wonderful and prompt. Ambiance is lovely. My favorite seat is on the cushioned benches inside during the summer and on their patio next to a heater in the winter. Drinks and desserts are to die for. This place is just *chefs kiss*

Yelp
I had a mixed experience at Piatello yesterday that was saved by really great food, which to me, at least, is of the highest priority. A lower rating was salvaged by the fact that the meatballs were delicious, as was the cheese pizza (that required a surcharge over the cost of the margherita pizza (??), and the tagliatelle--all delicious. I found the order-taker on the phone to be curt and way-too-rushed, difficult to hear, and unwilling to repeat the order. Two simple requests were rejected (the addition of any protein to the little gem salad). Of course, when I arrived to pick up the order, it was lacking an item, requiring a short wait while the bar-tender had to go back to the kitchen to figure out where things went wrong. I could have told them that the order-taker didn't want to repeat the order, so this was a predictable self-inflicted wound. Instead of the host being responsible for pick up orders, I was directed to the bar to pick up the order, where I waited for the bar tender to serve all the patrons at the bar while my order sat waiting on the bar-and I stood at the bar to be noticed. Eventually, after several minutes, I waived down the bartender, to whom I pointed out my order was sitting on the bar. I asked the bartender if I could add a side of marinara to the order while they were searching for my lost order of meatballs, to which she replied she'd have to charge me. After crumbling my face and swallowing my pride, I said go ahead and charge me. I'm a religious, God-fearing guy, so I figured an eye-for-an-eye, and I'd just deduct the marinara surcharge from the tip, but to my surprise, when the bartender brought the side of marinara, she said it was on the house. That gesture normally would have been met by me with a big "thank you very much, that's soooo unnecessary", but given the frustration with the unnecessary delays and "take no prisoners" approach of the order-taker who took my order (wrong), the "free" marinara was somewhat of an expectation. I know Piatellos can do better--and they almost always do--I just didn't have time to review those experiences, so I'm averaging the star rating and shooting straight with this narrative of only my experience last night. Really happy to have such a nice Italian place right in our own back yard, but consistency does matter, just sayin'.

Yelp
Came in on a Friday, it wasn't super busy but it definetly should've been cause DAMN. Our server, Anthony (I think but I'm terrible with names sorry) was so knowledgable, he gave a fantastic recommendation for my wine. I told him I like red Pinots, I tried out the stema and it was SO good I'm going to buy some for at home bc YUMMY. We got the seasonal crustini with a pea pesto and blue crab on sourdough - W O W!!! This item is leaving due to it being a spring item but holy shat this was a rich, posh man's tuna sandwich esque crab toast - soooo good, salty, tasty and delicious The pasta is made in house and MA'AM IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT!! We split the cacio e Pepe & the noodles were so fresh and chewy, it was incredible The pepperoni pizza was delicious! The pepperoni was flavorful and the crust was FANTASTIC. This feels like a great neighborhood spot and it's delicious

Yelp
The food was good it came out pretty quick I love how they added olives to the calamari. Not for the bad, the service was terrible our server maybe talked to us 4 times including the check whoever brought us our food was a better server than our actual server. Also the ravioli portions are way too small for the price.
