Piatto Neapolitan Pizzeria

Absolutely fantastic pizza. I love the flavor of smoked prosciutto so I ordered the Rucola the last time i went. Devoured it in minutes. I've never had a bad pizza here. The service is fantastic. The servers are super friendly and always seem to refill the water at the perfect time. The venue itself is beautiful. Classy and cool inside and outdoor seating in the front and back if that's your thing. I was initially afraid the servers would forget us as we sat outside but nope, they were perfect all evening. The price is a bit steep but you absolutely get what you pay for. 5/5 and I'll definitely be back.

Pizza here is fantastic! I lived in Pisa, Italy for 3 years and missed the pizza there. This is as close as I can get! Everything was cooked perfectly and tasted delicious. We also ordered the tiramisu and my family raved. We agreed it was the best tiramisu we’ve had. I’m glad Wichita has a place like this. When I went in to grab my order, staff was friendly and restaurant was nice and modern.

If you have been to Naples or Italy and had the pizza there it is very different than what we are use to here in the states. The reason I say that is don't expect it to be like what you're use to! That all being said this place is legit! The pizza's were on point, very good! Have only been the one time but will definitely be back! Highly recommend trying it out!

Hands-down, the best pizza in Wichita! I come here every time I come back from college, but over the past couple years me and my family have always came here to get pizza because it is the best! The ambience and the service are impeccable. The pizzas never miss and are perfect. I speak highly of this place and Robert is the best and built an amazing business! Definitely check this place out if you want some good Za!

Delicious pizza. Great vegan cheese options. No gluten free crust. But I’ll tell you what. It was worth eating the gluten pizza lol.

The pizza was incredible! Staff was friendly and helpful since it was our first visit. I had wanted to try this place because I had taken a pizza making class in Florence a few years ago and this place sounded like it made pizzas the same way. So good! Definitely recommend!

The pizza was good. Although I was hoping that it would be based on your uniqueness to have a little bit more flavor or zest to it, but it was good just the same. An average pizza will cost you about $18 to $20. The atmosphere was nice and they have a large variety of drink venues with microbrews from multiple locations and multiple States which is kind of nice. They also have a wine selection. Parking will be a little bit difficult though. They did open up the easy egg across the street that would Grant you that. Otherwise you would have to park around the back as Douglas has very limited parking spaces if any at all so you have to find it on the side streets. The staff was very friendly. We went on a Sunday and there was a happy hour time in which drinks are half price until 6:00 p.m.

I can’t say enough good things about this place! The pizza is absolutely incredible. They are super accommodating of dietary preferences (vegan, in our case) and the service was super friendly. I will dream of The Katie pizza. The toppings are creative and really well thought out. Highly recommend to all!

My dad has been trying to get us to come here for years when we visit. We finally got around to it. Haylie and Gus were SO nice and entertained our conversation the whole time we were there. They really made us feel welcome and at home on a slow Monday night. Haylie had a knack for conversation (and she'll be an excellent English teacher one day - good luck girl!). We ordered the Milano pizza to share. The pizzas here are a perfect sharing size for 2 people. The crust? Perfect. (Honestly, Gus is a pizza wizard.) The toppings are super fresh and nearly overflow on the base. I had a simple Cabernet wine and it was a great compliment to the Milano pizza. The local beer selection is good, especially for the Wichita breweries. I would love to see this place on a busy night: I bet the ambiance is bustling but fun to observe. The decor definitely harkens back to Italy, but it's not so overwhelming that it feels out of place. Overall? It's a new "must do" stop when we visit my parents. Our new goal is to try a different pizza every time. Love Piatto and hope to see them many more times.

I got this as an Uber Eats delivery, so I am not going to rate the temperature. Just a word of caution that this is the second time Uber Eats brought it cold. The pizza itself is very good. I had the Diavola. Excellent flavor and I like the wood fired taste. But what is up with not cutting the pizza? Did I miss an option when ordering? I am traveling, and therefore do not have a pizza cutter. I had to tear pieces off to eat. Just odd.

SO GOOD! first time having napoli pizza and i was so impressed. love the chewy dough texture and the service was very quick. the restaurant is clean and you get to see the chef making the pizza with the giant oven. will definitely be back

Best pizza in Wichita and might be one of the better pizzas in the Midwest that I have experienced outside of St Louis/Chicago which have their own unique offerings. Anyway, this place is definitely worth seeking out in nearby cities/states as this place makes some great true authentic Neapolitan style fired pizzas (Vera Pizza Napoletana) with Marzano tomatoes and that chewy yummy crust worth eating. I started with a house salad which had some nice tomatoes and shaved parm and watched the "show" as the pizzaioli turned and cooked my pie. The pizza was a good size and one hungry person could eat it all however it is probably big enough to share for two if you have an appetizer. I definitely will be back if in the area.

Highly recommend this Pizzeria!! EXCELLENT!! Food is delicious, and made fresh! Robert, the owner really cares about offering his customers stellar customer service! You don't find this type of service these days!! I can't say enough nice things about Robert and his staff! We accidentally wandered in during happy hour and we were pleasantly surprised. The pizza is light on sauce with thin, crispy crust, which i prefer. We had great service and we will be back.

Everything about this pizzeria is perfect starting the minute you walk in and smell the heavenly smells! The service was excellent and the food was super fresh and still came out very fast. I got the mushroom pesto vegan pizza and it was to die for! The dough was so fresh tasting. My sister got a regular pepperoni pizza and even something as basic as that was worth raving about. If I wasn't from out of state this would definitely be added to my frequently go place!

I have the margarita speck and he has the pepperoni. Absolutely lovely. We also tried the cheese bread--which is actually a cheese pizza with sauce on the side. Surprising, but DELICIOUS! The glasses of wine are smaller than I would have expected. But, the moscato was absolutely DELIGHTFUL. The tiramisu was naked on top! No cocoa powder! But still tasty and rich! A thick, silky mouthfeel with just enough coffee flavor. The service was extremely kind. We cant wait to go back! I would highly recommend this place.

Absolute garbage. Pizza was burnt and tasted like it. Even the non-burnt parts tasted vile. I also don't understand how a pizza can taste both bland and burnt at the same time, but this managed it. Maybe the dine-in experience is better, but this is the kind of quality you can expect from take out: burned garbage. I would have thrown it in their faces if this is the crap they served me in restaurant. Disgusting.

In Wichita for a few days and found this great spot near old town. Nice feel inside and great service and friendly staff from the second I walked in. Very helpful on what they recommended. Monday night margarita pizza is only $10. Hell of a deal. All fresh toppings and they are right in front of you when you sit at the bar. The Dough was fantastic and excellent flavor. Cooked very quick and great flavor. Very reasonably priced for the size of the pizza and the flavor. I would definitely come back.

I really wanted to like the pizza... Friendly staff, clean environment. Pizza was very bland with sparse toppings and cheese. Crust was very good.

Great date night spot. Make a reservation or chance it. We were seated right away. Our server was a queen, and she was incredible. Thoughtful recommendations if you ask. We shared a caprese salad and three pizzas between four of us. It was enough to try a bit of everything and none of us left hungry. The guys had a couple of the local beers, and they enjoyed them.

Best pizza in the city. Robert takes care of all of his customers. We love it. But I will say this, it's best to eat it in the restaurant. Piping hot is the right way so you can appreciate the crust. Totally delicious.

Ordered the diavolo pizza. Spicy salami, garlic, fresh muzz, EVOO. The pizza itself was pretty good. Decently crisp underneath, and fresh ingredients. The spicy salami added a nice savory flavor to the pizza. I think the crisp on the bottom could be crispier. The pizza was a bit doughey. I guess I can ask for it well done next time. Something that threw me off was that my pizza was not cut. Never had that happen to me ever before, a little strange. Otherwise good joint. Cheers!

Not only was the atmosphere inviting (lots of natural light), the host greeted and seated us quickly. Food took a bit to arrive however by far one of the best brick oven pizzas I've had. Reminds me of a pizza joint in CO. Little to no grease, top notch toppings, and large servings. Was quite busy when we left. Absolutely will come back sooner than later!

Visited for the first time in the early Friday crowd. Had a Caesar salad, which was quite heavy on the lemon and the Trio de Carne pie. My husband and I shared it and it was the perfect amount. Will visit again!

Food was pretty good. It wasn't my favorite pizza place in town, but I would definitely go back to try something else on the menu. Service was good-- our waitress was a sweetheart & everyone in the place was friendly. This seemed like it would be a cute place to go with friends for some wine & socializing... except I don't drink

Found this cute little pizzeria/Italian restaurant. The place is simple, but elegant with an inviting atmosphere and super friendly staff. Everything we ordered was delicious and fresh. We never had such a amazing authentic tasting pizza! We started with the garlic cheese bread and Caesar salad and ended with Napoli and pepperoni pizza!

They took forever to get us seated and they weren't even busy. They just ignored us standing there. It was my birthday, we brought in gifts and they didn't even acknowledge it. Service was so slow and our food was not good. The salad had no taste and it was like drenched in water. Terrible table service. The most non tasting pizza, I have ever tasted. No flavor. We we're very disappointed, especially for a birthday dinner. Definitely thumbs down.

I'd been wanting a plant based pizza and not the frozen kind. While visiting Wichita we found Piatto. They had multiple plant based/vegan options and could also modify non vegan pizzas upon request. I ordered the pesto and mushrooms with vegan mozzarella and hubby had pepperoni. Their homemade pesto is delicious and the pizza was perfectly cooked. A thin crust that was maybe an 1/8" in the center. I like a pizza without a lot of dough. They didn't open until 5 and the restaurant quickly filled. Friendly staff and great service.

Good Food, Reasonable prices, Service was pretty good. Minor problem : Parking- No street parking, east side parking said belonged to an apt complex, North parking lot said reserved so had to park across the street at a closed business. Other than that Not bad. LOTS better than delivery or carry out.

Great pizza and friendly staff. If you have not tried Neapolitan style pizza, you have to go to Piatto's for the best pizza in town.

This was my first time dining and my date and I had a really great time. Food was delicious, the garlic cheesy bread was to die for! The staff was very welcoming, especially Jen our waitress. She was energetic and friendly as well as ensuring we were well taken care of. Definitely will be coming back again

Piatto has the best pizza I have ever put in my mouth! All the hand-picked ingredients of the BEST quality really make the pizza top shelf. Very few places will you find quality of slow risen dough that pairs perfectly with the Woodfire oven. The staff was also amazing, and you can tell they love what they do and proud of the food they make! To add the final touch..you MUST try the Tiramisu! Devine! I can't wait to go back so I can try every pizza on the menu! If your in Wichita or passing thru, check it out! You won't be disappointed!

This was our first time there for a girls dinner. it was happy hour so we all ordered a glass of wine, 2 appetizers and a salad to share which was more than enough for the 5 of us. The food was so delicious and fresh. The pizzas looked wonderful but we did not get one this time. Julie is a wonderful server and made sure we had what we needed and she made several suggestions which was so helpful and appreciated. We will most definitely be back!

Worth the wait! Found this hidden gem through yelp & was pleasantly surprised! It's a Sunday night-around 520pm, took a minute to get seated but that's bc the servers are the hosts and organize/cut/distribute all the food. Quality is definitely superior to Il Vicino-- I even took a picture of the bottom to show how "not burned" it was I've had some disappointing wood fired pizzas. The back of the restaurant has a cute patio-- I hadn't realized that it was even back there. Sangria was great! But I'm glad I only drank 1 - very strong. Very fresh ingredients! Highly recommend! Sat at the bar area and watched the 2 cooks work their butts off--overall it was a great experience! Highly recommend!

Absolutely FANTASTIC appetizers (omg the garlic bread! yes, ok, it's a sauceless pizza BUT SO GOOD) and authentic wood-fired pizza. We had a large party of 15 and they accommodated us on the back patio beautifully and everyone LOVED their pizzas. And so many to choose from!! Truly delicious. Julie and staff took very good care of us and I can't wait to go back again.

Generally the pizza is better here than Il Vicino, but when the owner himself serves you unfinished pizza that's the last visit. We had a table of four on a weekday night and it was fairly busy. We ordered quickly but the table of four after us got two of our pizzas. So two of us got pizzas while the other two at our table waited for new ones. The poor server felt bad for the mix-up and told us it'd be three minutes for the other pizzas which was already concerning. Yes- it's a really hot and fancy Italian oven but still. The owner was making the pizzas and was obviously angry with her. One of the pizza was the mushroom one which normally has delicious crisp mushrooms, but they rushed it and they were a soggy mess with an underdone crust. The other misgiven pizza was a pepperoni which also had an unfinished/doughy crust. We had already been there an hour and a half. The team did nothing to recover this or even really apologize other than Oops, we gave half your order to the table next to you. Sorry. It'll be three more minutes. The ambiance has a cute Italian flare but it leans heavily on those aesthetics to carry it's business. Love that they buy locally but avoid the sausage from Chophouse! That meat has been frozen and stored improperly for a questionable amount of time (more a Chophouse issue than a Piatto one). Overall, the pizza is usually good but know that you are taking a chance. The cannolis are pretty tasty and pre-made so you don't have to watch your neighbors eat your food while you wait.

The pizza was about the size of a MOD pizza but twice the price. It was good and had high quality meats. They did have great customer service and were very friendly. The inside and outside are very clean and nicely decorated. The setup is on the fancy side but it's a casual restaurant. They have a nice selection of beer and wine available along with bottled soda. Street parking was available on a Saturday. Pizza - 4/5. Price 3/5. Customer service 5/5.

Pros: Efficient and pleasant greeter doubles as order taker. Authentic brick oven is the centerpiece of the dining area. Toppings are offered in creative combinations, tasty and fresh. Cons: The crust is very lightly toasted leaving it soft and folding. The food is delivered without follow-up service. This would be ideal to know at the time of ordering since this is also when the tip is solicited. Pizza boxes are stacked on the chairs and bar leaving that space cluttered looking and unavailable for dining or viewing.

Came here a few weeks ago for a girls' night out dinner. The pizza was pretty tasty, if a little charred on the bottom for my liking. They seem to have a good wine selection, but it was a little pricey so I abstained. Service was good and it's a cute little place.

My wife and I shared a pizza that had prosciutto and lemon zest with an olive oil base. Something different but very good. The pizza was out so fast and the staff were amazing. We had our 9 month old with us and when the chef brought us our pizza had asked if we'd like some bread made for her. He made a pizza sized bread with seasonings and olive oil and cut them into strips for her! All for free. Everything tasted very fresh and high end. There were so many options so we will definitely be back.

Every time I go to Piatto, I think about how some restaurants never hit that sweet spot: a cozy atmosphere, totally tasty food, nice staff (shoutout to Julie!). Piatto is all those things, which is why I love it. I think I've tried most of the pizzas on the menu and my veggie/vegan friends love all the vegan options. The Francesca is my ultimate favorite, though. (Pistachos on pizza? Yes.) It's an elevated pizza experience; a little taste of Italy in the middle of Kansas.

The TRIO DE CARNE (three meat) pizza with their homemade sausage, old world style pepperoni, and spicy salami was one of the best pizzas I've ever had. What a surprise when we got it about 3 minutes after ordering from their wood-fired oven. Superb!!

Piatto Neapolitan Pizzeria is a great and wonderful place! Their pizzas are amazing!! The flavors and tastes of the pizzas are great! I love it!! Plus I love that they partnered up with the Hopping Gnome to provide their wonderful beverages! The PNP staff is awesome and very welcoming and the atmosphere is awesome!! I love the patio area in back of the restaurant with the Wichita flag image painted on the wall! Kudos to you Piatto Neapolitan Pizzeria!! Thank you!

Stopped here after reading the positive reviews on yelp. I saw that the owner responded to reviews which tells me they care about their online reputation. I took a seat at the half circle bar in front of the wood fired oven. I quickly found out they don't only care about their online reputation but also about the customers' overall experience. He walked me through all the ingredients that they use and where they come from. My pizza was delicious and because of the dough they make there i didn't feel overly stuffed afterwards. It was a great meal and experience.

By far the best pizza place in Wichita for my money. Pizza always comes out fast and delicious. Ceaser Salad there is something I would ask for in my last meal, the dressing is insanely good. Service is always awesome, the place is kind of small so seating isn't always ideal but it's a great place.

Had an order sent here while we were at hopping gnome. Some things got really mixed up during this whole thing. We were very upset and had to go to the pizza place to get our pizza cut. It was cold by then and we had no way to eat anything which is why things were upsetting. I wanted our order comped in some way but was told absolutely not. Since then the owner Robert has reached out and wants to rectify the problem. He explained how ordering off the site goes to DoorDash. The Hopping Gnome has a QR code to use specifically for this. We didn't know. The fact that he's willing to make this right means a lot. He is going to look in to how the online order is and add a disclaimer if he can. I originally had put a bad review because I never thought I would be contacted. I appreciate it and now I can say I will go back. What a confusion this was. Thank you Robert for taking the time to call me.

Piatto hands down has the best pizza in Wichita. My personal favorite pizza is the Francesca. Their insalata salad is very fresh and tasty and comes in a big bowl, good enough for group of 5. Also might be the best sangria in town. It's been our favorite place to go during the Covid shutdown. Their patio is very spacious and all of the staff wears masks. Not to mention they're always so friendly and nice.

Piatto has been a favorite of ours since we first visited over a year ago. The pizzas are so flavorful and come out quick every time (even with a full restaurant). We love that the food and service has always been consistent. And they have the best tiramisu in all of town!!

The most authentic Neapolitan style pizza I've found! The crust is delicious and chewy! The sauce has such good flavor and the cheese is very high quality! Owner is so friendly and made me feel very welcome! Couldn't have asked for a better experience!

Our first time trying it we got the appetizer... Misto Salumi which was amazing!! Definitely going to try their pizza next!

Ordered 3 pizzas. They came uncut. Now I know why. Both of my pizza crust cutters would not cut through the tough crusts. I had to use a Titanium blade industrial scissors to cut them into slices. The flavors were average to bad. The Calzones were better than the pizzas. Though, also uncut, and tough.
