I attended a very nice event here, for a friend's birthday party. They are known for their Italian oven and the first appetizers were garlic cheese flat breads served with marinara, charred nicely and oozing garlicky goodness. The following antipasta plates featured Italian meats, cheeses, peppers, olives and roasted Eggplant which made for excellent toppings.
I ordered a special burrata pizza with prosciutto, basil, truffle & mushroom. It was delicious, well charred, but the moisture from the burrata did make the center of the pizza soggy. I would note that 2 days in the cardboard take home box dried out the remaining pizza perfectly. The Spaghetti Carbonara was served just how I like it (no peas, plenty of pancetta) and it was enjoyed.
Oddly, as we were leaving the staff had multiple pizzas from a chain restaurant delivered, making me wonder about management policies. The owner just shrugged when I questioned this. The staff was not attentive, mostly looking like they wanted to be somewhere else, and we were the only large party on a slow Thursday night. They have a solid wine list and plenty of entree choices,
