The best Indian restaurant in Dublin! We went for the tasting menu and while very pricey compared to other Indian restaurants in the city, it is well worth it. Each dish is executed flawlessly, particularly the duck and lamb. The service was so friendly and accommodating, with each dish explained in detail. I think this restaurant is well deserving of its success thus far and I will definitely visit again in the future as the flavour is absolutely unrivalled to anywhere I've tried previously.

Our experience at Pickle Restaurant was outstanding from start to finish. The food was exceptional, highlights included the lamb chop, tandoori prawns, crab meat, pork chop, tandoori chicken, and biryani. Every dish was beautifully prepared with great attention to detail. Roshan and his team provided warm, attentive service that made the meal even more enjoyable. The tooti-frooti and gulab jamun were a perfect end to a wonderful evening. Highly recommended!

Pickle was an absolute delight! The service was phenomenal, truly above and beyond. The food was incredible, bursting with flavor. Just a heads up for anyone who isn't used to Indian cuisine – the spice level is definitely intense! But don't let that scare you off, I'd still highly recommend it.

pickle is absolutely outstanding in all aspects – from the food (obviously) to the service and the ambience. we thoroughly enjoyed the fauzi chicken wings and the crab & mango starters. the mains were incredible, the zafrani chicken korma was super fragrant, and the laal maas (lamb shank) simple fell off the bone… it just melts in your mouth! i would devour anything that the chef cooks! it’s worth every cent

Excellent food and service. All staff were so attentive from when we walked in the door to when we walked out. The food was the nicest Indian food we have had. We had 2 starters, 2 mains, 1 dessert, 3 soft drinks, 2 beers, and one coffee and the bill came to €140. Worth every penny! Will definitely be coming back.

Amazing restaurant, the food was unbelievable and the staff are really helpful and welcoming!! We had a birthday meal here and they were completely obliging to make it a nice time!!

The atmosphere at this place was a bit fancy, definitely nice, and suits dated as well. The service was great too, very friendly. Everything we tried was super tasty, the spices were balanced, the presentation was great, and not too spicy for our pallet. Chicken Biryani rice (€29.9), with a bready top that was taken off by the server, side of yogurt, side of masala sauce. Super tasty dish 10/10. Potato cake appetizer (€13.5), super tasty, it was topped with complementary sauces, well balanced between savory, sour, and tart. Excellent appetizer. Puri Chaat? (€15), They didn't list it on the menu, I asked for it and the chef was nice enough to create it for me. Super tasty and not too spicy We also go the slow cooked Wicklow lamb to go (€28.5), the meat was super tender, the flavors were excellent, some of the best Indian flavored lambs I've ever tried. The price for two people without drinks is (€104.65), which is on the pricy side, but the flavors and experience was worth it. All in all, I tried this place about 6 years ago and it was great and I tried it again and they still kept their high quality tasty food. Definitely recommend

Found this restaurant off the Michelin Guide list. The chef's aim to marry Irish produce with North Indian flavors. They incorporate a lot of pickles in the dishes. I got a classic mango lassi, the paneer methi malai (green peas, fenugreek, cashew nut, caramelized onion) with their garlic coriander naan. Everything was DELICIOUS. Paneer methi malai was a burst of flavors & their naan is unique, it's flat like a roti but still puffy like a naan. Ambiance is warm & cozy & service was above & beyond, the chef came to check in & the server Roshan was great. Definitely want to come back & try their apps. Cheers!

On my last visit to Dublin, my friend had one request - to try Dublin Indian food, and Pickle was the top choice. Let me just say, we were blown away. Our order (all of which we split): Drink - Mango Lassi (we each ordered one; I'm obsessed) Appetizer - Chowk Ki Aloo Tikki (Crispy potato cakes filled with cumin & ginger tempered green peas, 3 chutneys - loved) Main - Farmers Butter Chicken (Old Delhi style chicken tikka with fenugreek, ginger, green chilli & cardamom flavoured - velvety tomato & onion masala, finished with fresh cream) & Nalli Nihari (Wicklow lamb shank simmered for 12 hrs with caramelized onion, ginger & turmeric flavoured with saffron & ginger) Sides - Basmati Rice, Dilli Wala Butter Naan, & 1 Pair of Pickle (this one was not my fav) Dessert - Gulab Jamun (Indian milk donuts fried in clarified butter and soaked in saffron, rose sugar syrup, vanilla ice cream) The whole meal was perfection - everything (except for the pickle side that I wasn't a fan of) tasted incredible. There was so much flavor in every bite. We sat in the back of the restaurant which happened to be next to the table where Nick Jonas had recently visited before us. We had this dinner booked before we saw that so great minds! We also were able to meet Chef Sunil Ghai and pay our compliments. Our waitress was amazing (I don't recall her name sadly but the receipt says it was printed by Dexter). As part of our reservation, we pre-paid €50 so our remaining bill was €54.95. For what we got, it was a fantastic value, and I cannot wait to come back. On the way out we spotted Chef Sunil Ghai's cookbook called Spice Box: Easy, Everyday Indian Food Hardcover. I made note because after getting back home, I ordered cookbooks for both myself and my friend. Have I made any recipes from it yet? No, but hopefully I'll get around to it soon. Just a note, when I was looking up their website to complete this review, I noticed they don't offer takeaway service which is a bit surprising. Maybe their thought is the quality isn't as good which I get but if I lived in Dublin, I'd want to be able to get takeout.

It turns out you have to go to Ireland to eat amazing Indian food. Okay you don't HAVE to go to Ireland but if you find yourself there and in Dublin, try Pickle, a Michelin-awarded restaurant. We decided to have an early dinner and snagged a reservation at Pickle, which I researched previously but didn't make a reservation ahead of time because we hadn't locked down our schedule. The day before we made our decision to stay in Dublin for the day so I looked at Pickle and found a reservation. The restaurant is a small narrow one and even given our early reservation it was packed. We were shown to our table and quickly greeted with water. After looking at the menu we ordered a bottle of white wine, a Bordeaux blanc. We also ordered appetizers of tandoori prawns and wings. Both were amazing. For our meals I got a pork chop vindaloo and my husband got a lamb shank. We ordered naan, okra and pickles, of course, to share. Everything was beautifully plated and really tasty. The only thing I didn't love were the pickles. I'm so glad I found this exceptional restaurant and would definitely go back.

Definitely recommend eating here if you're in the area. Make sure to make a reservation ahead of time. Pickle's interpretation of Indian food is one of the phenomenal dining experiences I've ever had. Don't go here for your standards -- you won't find "chicken tikka masala" or samosas. What you will find, however, are the most delicious combinations of flavors and spices ever. I've added some photos of the dishes my friend and I had; I highly recommend, however, that you ask your server what they'd recommend. We had great conversations with ours, and she steered us in the right direction each time. Go hungry. Take your time. Do not waste your limited stomach capacity on white rice -- instead, have the naan or order the variety basket to try different breads. You definitely need a reservation, and with other restaurants in Dublin, there are seating times between which you'll need to fit in. Dublin has become a real foodie town with many places to try. But if I were to return, I would prioritize coming back to Pickle.

Michelin star Indian restaurant in Dublin, how could I say no? I did my research and everywhere said that this is the best Indian food in Ireland, especially these parts. I asked my local friends too who confirmed it was "the best" and were so excited I snagged a reservation. Booking online in advance is a must. The website hosts a lot of rules but for good reason, this is a spot everyone's wanting to try. They do hold a $25 reservation fee per person upfront. The good news is that's applied towards your bill. That's how busy this place gets and they want to ensure you will keep your reservation. I don't mind an upfront charge as it goes towards my meal anyways. Arriving to Pickle restaurant it doesn't look like much from the outside. You wouldn't be aware what delicious treats await you inside. Once inside we were greeted immediately by a host and taken to our table near the back. This was great as it was more private and gave us prime seating to oversee their semi open kitchen layout. I'd recommend an early dinner if you want it a little more peaceful. Came for 5:15pm dinner service and it was a nice lull before the rush (Europeans eat later). By the time we left though every table was taken. The service was impeccable. Even when we entered the restaurant as we were walked to our table there was line of wait staff welcoming you. Once we sat the pace was great and very attentive service without being overbearing, it was perfect. They even repour your water glass for you even though the glass water container is on your table. True 5 star service. Everyone was very nice and friendly. The menu is pretty extensive and had a great variety of options. I was impressed that for a Michelin star restaurant it wasn't too pricey. For two people having a full course and drinks, it was only about $80 American dollars (and remember with the $25 per person upfront it only came to $30). Girl math hahaha. Again, reasonable. The food was definitely 5 stars and this is great Indian cuisine all around. You must come here if you are visiting! The locals already know about it and love it. To drink I needed a break from alcohol and went with a Mango Lassi, super refreshing and creamy. It was delicious. Super smooth and tasty, cooled me down. For the main course went with the butter chicken, basmati rice, naan, dal, and riata sauce. Every bite was heavenly. Shoutout to my friend Emily for recommending the Riata because it was such a refreshing cucumber sauce which was a great addition to the mains. I forgot to ask for the butter chicken mild and it had a slight kick. Everything was delicious and presentation was classic but fabulous. One of the best overall meals in Dublin and I'm so glad I came here. Everyone deserves to try this spot once.

We have to try Indian food in every city we visit. Our first night in Dublin, every local we asked said this was the best. Unfortunately, I couldn't get a reservation through their online booking site. I tried for a couple of days and finally decided to call them. They were wonderful and got us in for the next night. Service was excellent and everything we ordered was perfectly spiced to the level each of us requested- from tongue torch to mild. I'm very happy we were able to get in.

Wonderful indian food using locally sourced Irish ingredients! there was spice, but nothing so spicy that you can't handle.

Delicious food and excellent service at this attractive Indian restaurant on Camden Street. My taxi driver recommended visiting Pickle and I was happy not only to find it but to arrive just before they opened and be seated without a reservation. The staff are absolutely professional and accommodating. I am often impressed by the levels of service this community offers and am grateful for it. My butter Naan, butter chicken, and long grain rice were all superb. Was it my favorite butter chicken ever? No. But I can certainly see why everyone loves this restaurant and after opening, they appeared to fill tables quickly. Would I return? Yes. You'll pay a few euros more, but the service and quality of food make up for it.

Stressed trying to find words to describe this. I wish I could cuss on here Best Indian food I've ever had in my life potentially one of the best meals I've ever had this place is lowkey the only reason to visit Dublin. Like I'm actually speechless right now. My dad is an Indian food snob and says it's the best he's ever had idk I'm so stressed trying to convey how good this place is like. I let my waitress make all my decisions for me. I feel weird leaving here without kissing the chef on the cheek and telling him what he means to me If this was my death row meal I would go out with a smile on my face

If you aren't eating here while in Dublin, what are you even doing? Delicious, well seasoned food. You might not find your typical Indian restaurant order on the menu, but eat here anyway!

This was my favorite meal of the trip!!!!! It was also our final meal of the trip and what a way to close out Dublin. The food was so incredible, the ambiance is lovely and the server was so friendly and nice. You can't go wrong with any dish but we had the wings and a potato dish to start. For our main courses, we had the cottage cheese and spinach vegetarian special and the black Dahl with sides of rice, naan and pickles. Everything was SO delicious. I'll be thinking about this meal for a long time! Definitely make a reservation ahead of time!!!

Wow!! I indian food often and all over the world, including India, and I must say I'm impressed! I'm glad I took the advise of another poster who said skip the rice and save precious space in your belly for everything else. I was a little sticker shocked at the prices and almost left. I'm so glad I stayed! It was well worth it! I ordered the Kadhai Paneer and masala cheese chili naan.

We had a really delicious (warning: filling!) lunch at Pickle a couple days ago. The staff was completely on top of things and high quality, and the food was delicious. Their lunch prix fixe is a great deal, tons of delicious food at a reasonable price: It includes an appetizer, a main, rice and naan for a little bit more than an a la carte main. We got the pork belly ribs and samosa chaat as appetizers, both were fantastic. The ribs were a *lot* of food, deliciously flavored with a not-overwhelming mango-pickle-like sauce. The Samosa Chaat was well executed, two crispy samosa's with very good chutneys. For mains we got the butter chicken and chicken biryani, both were executed well as expected.

Was looking for a last minute mid-week reservation and got a slot later than I wanted. Emailed them back and received a prompt response accommodating me at an earlier time. The email exchange took place a day when the restaurant was closed. Was promptly seated upon arrival. Ordered the aloo tikki starter (really wanted the wings but trying to eat more vegetarian food) and the Lal Maas (Rajisthani spicy lamb - not turning into a vegetarian...) along with a naan. The food was excellent - I wanted to like the aloo tikkis from the streets of Delhi I grew up eating more, but Pickle's version had a wonderful balance and crispness worthy of any self-respecting tikkiwala. By the time my appetizer was done, the restaurant was full. The Lal Maas was sublime. Despite gorging on the tikkis (2 in a portion), I couldn't stop eating the spicy, tart sauce with the naan. The lamb was (mostly) super tender. And this is a very minor gripe. Ambience was nice and the service was attentive and pleasant without being overbearing. Will be back.

Great Indian food and service! Made lunch reservations prior to traveling to Ireland after reading so many wonderful reviews and am so glad we made it to this restaurant. It was a bit of a cab ride from our hotel near the Docklands area but easy to get around in the city so wasn't a big deal. We were promptly seated on arrival and our servers were friendly and attentive. They have a lunch menu that has both a Prix Fixe menu and a la carte options. We ordered a la carte and enjoyed everything. My son ordered a mango lassi, one of the best I've ever had. We ordered the samosa chaat to start and had butter chicken, lamb curry, plain naan and Peshawari naan. Everything was delicious! We were too full for dessert. Happy we were able to get a table here, enjoyed every bite!

I cannot say enough about Pickle! Last movie reservations, yet the staff went above and beyond. They even created a vegetarian tasting menu for me, so my DH could do the full tasting menu. Very reasonably priced for the quality of the food and impeccable service.

Best Indian I've had in Dublin. The Dal Bukhara and Aloo tikki chat were the best dishes. Just amazing! We tried chicken biryani and Chole Bhature both were average. Chole may be above average. The kulfi is really good and Mango lassi is quite thick but good. Before going I read a lot of reviews and I was very skeptical of the service. Happy to say it was great service and warm staff. Overall a good experience.

I need to start by saying you MUST try. I'm not picky but I love food. I have very high expectations. This place was so wonderful I can't say enough good things. We looked for places by our hotel. This was highly rated and also had no reservations for weeks. I figured we would stop by and give it a try that someone cancelled. We were so lucky to get a table right next to the kitchen. We ordered the fish curry (stone fish), paneer makhan masala, bread basket, and rice. We also got Prosecco and a bottle of Chardonnay. Everything was spiced perfectly, cooked to perfection, and the service was excellent. I have nothing to suggest and it was perfect. The lively kitchen and the calming dining room was a romantic and energetic environment. Must try! 5 stars and Michelin awarded too.

TLDR: One of the WORST dining experiences of my entire life thus far. If I could give it a 0 star rating, I most certainly would. Horrendous service, disappointing overcooked food, and a marked lack of attention and care from service staff compared to the other customers seated around us. Perhaps this may be the best Indian cuisine in Dublin but I can confidently say I've had Indian food that was as good if not infinitely better than Pickle from just my local cheap Indian take-out spot in New York. I was very excited for my dinner reservation at Pickle as I had read many positive reviews on Yelp about the service and food. My sister and I ordered the Fauzi Chicken Wings, Farmers Butter Chicken, Tandoori Pork Champ, Gobhi Masala, Tandoori Bread Basket, and Basmati Rice. Ultimately, the chicken wings were the only memorable part of the meal. They were spicy, flavorful, and crisp on the outside while tender on the inside. The butter chicken was quite lackluster and the pork (which they tout as a "Signature" dish) was so dry and overcooked, it was like I was chewing on a hockey puck. Regarding the service, I could describe it as unfriendly/alienating at best, but that would suggest that there was any service at all? Rather, there was a striking lack of attention and care throughout the entire meal. From the moment we sat down to the moment we left, no one ever stopped by to ask how the food was. No one ever asked if we needed anything. Our water glasses repeatedly stood empty for up to 10 minutes at a time while numerous servers strolled past our table multiple times. The only time they seemed to care about our presence at all was when we asked for the bill without even finishing our meal, less than 45 minutes after sitting down, out of frustration and exasperation over the disappointing experience. One server was particularly rude. I asked if he could take away some of the garbage that had accumulated on our table at the start of our meal, including used moist towelettes and an empty beer bottle and soda can that had been sitting on the edge of the table for over 15 minutes. He didn't stay long enough to listen to me finish my sentence, ignored my request, and walked away without taking all of the items away. They sat there until the end of the meal and were still there by the time I asked for the check. Again, during this entire time, numerous servers walked past our table multiple times without helping us. Most noticeably, there was a clear difference in how we were treated vs. how others around us were treated. For example, 4 women were seated at a table directly adjacent to us. As I timed, I noted MULTIPLE DIFFERENT servers checked in on their table every 3-5 minutes, asking how the food was, whether they needed anything, topping up their water and wine glasses, and cleaning up garbage from their table. Meanwhile, my sister and I, seated perhaps a mere 8 inches away sat ignored and overlooked. In summary, to say I am disappointed by my dining experience at Pickle would be a gross understatement. I most certainly would not return and would NOT recommend dining here. If you're visiting Dublin, a trip instead to literally any pub would be an INFINITELY better use of your time and money.

Phenomenal cuisine. Very authentic and light but very filling. The waiter gave us great ordering recommendations and guided us to the right dishes. Definitely my favorite dinner in Dublin (highly recommend if you like Indian fare).

Pickle is Perfect! Wow, what a treat! Very good service, excellent curry, lovely decor. Worth the cost and the wait for reservations. Dinner Saturday night. One order chicken biryani, one order tandoori lamb with saag, the naan basket, and black lentil dish. Service was so friendly and attentive, and the food was presented outstandingly. Make sure you try the saffron and pistachio desert with vermicelli, really good!

Had to go back and nothing changed (that's a good thing) Food: Delicious North Indian Cuisine Service: Very Attentive and happy to please Atmosphere: cozy den vibes Price: $$$ This is some of the best Indian food I have ever had. Genuinely better than anything I've had in the US and on par with the best of London. The dishes all cooked to perfection and stay true to their North Indian roots. Lamb and Bone Marrow and Dal Bukhara Plate were standouts.

I've eaten more than my fair share of curries at fancy and not fancy restaurants around the world....NYC, LA, Atlanta, London etc. Without a doubt, Pickle is one of the greatest experiences my wife and I have ever had. The service is impeccable, the menu is daring but features some classics executed to perfection. The "Masala Ribs" makes this Indian in Texas smile in Glee. The lamb chop and lamb gosht were some of the most flavorful dishes I have ever had. They were kind enough to email me back and confirm a reservation just a few hours before opening! Highly recommended for authentic (I am Indian so yes I can say that) Indian cuisine !

I just logged into my Yelp account after a 6 year hiatus to share about my experience at Pickle. I am hoping this is helpful, especially for out of town visitors who are considering carving out time of their trips for a meal here. I know I depend highly on reviews when planning our meals for international vacations. Pickle was the dinner we picked for our last night in Dublin, and we were very excited leading up to our resy. The general online consensus painted Pickle as a must try, and I'm genuinely confused as to why? The silver lining to this experience is the prompt seating, the standard not rude aka bare minimum service of some servers, and the chicken wing starter which was really delicious. The rest of the food is pretty average. Maybe we chose incorrectly? Butter chicken was incredibly basic. Their signature Pork Champ was also nothing to write home about. It was tough, and the probably once crispy pork skin was chewy and gelatinous by the time we dug in. Btw, nothing comes with rice or breads, so that needs to be ordered separately (which is fine, but be aware that these are indeed extras). Service was pretty non-existent. I don't care for overly attentive service, and just ask for the bare minimum. But Pickle service was in one word - missing. Service in this case just meant taking our orders and bringing the food we ordered to our table. Nothing else. If this was the general vibe of the establishment, I wouldn't even care to write this review. However, it seems as though some Pickle servers cherry pick who they choose to serve. The tables next to us received extremely attentive service while our water glasses took forever to be refilled, no one checked in, and our table was not promptly cleared (used wipes, empty bottles, cans) - in fact, we had to ask one server to help out with this and he grabbed only part of the trash and walked away before we even finished our sentence. We just chuckled at this point. We asked for the check with the meal unfinished. If we hadn't paid the $50 deposit, we wouldn't have even tried to stay for as long as we did. Unless you're coming to Dublin from a place that has TRULY lackluster Indian, Pickle may be a pass for a limited itinerary. Maybe it was an off night, or maybe our later night reservation was a cause? But should there even be an excuse? I think any pub with a pint would've been more worth our time!

Server : Kesav (A+)......very pleasant and warm. Everything was on point - coming from an Indian Culinary Family, we were all rather impressed. The flavors of the food directly co-relate to the wonderfully creative menu descriptions. Don't be afraid to try something new! VERY clean bathrooms with quality toiletries. Quite possibly THE best Indian that I've had on my travels.

Went because Eater said it was "the best Northern Indian food in the country". I immediately made a reservation after reading this, but was certainly skeptical at such a bold claim. Happy to report, though, that Pickle is some of the best Indian food I've ever had. Anywhere. The ambience is wonderful, the service attentive and friendly. Went for lunch and had the railway lamb curry and the goat keema pao. The food was creative, fresh and packed with flavor. You won't find any oily, bland tikka masala here - go check it out!

Interesting spice combinations through every course. Ends up being pretty punchy with all the trimmings.

Pickle is one of the best Indian restaurants I've ever visited. As usual, when I travel to another city I try to eat at the best Indian restaurant in town. From reviews, I inferred that Pickle was the place to go in Dublin. The restaurant is relatively small, but, cozy. The walls are filled with pictures of vintage India advertisements. As for the food, to start with we got the Crispy Potato Cakes Filled with Green Peas Cumin & Tamarind Chutney. These potato cakes are almost like samosas, but served differently. They were amazing and I highly recommend them. As a meal I got the Butter Chicken. I've never had Butter Chicken before, but I was happy I got it at Pickle. It was perfectly made and absolutely exceptional. My sister got the Cottage cheese in tomato sauce. I didn't try it, but she really enjoyed it. As a side we got the Tandoori Bread basket which had a variety of naan bread. The best was the garlic naan, but lets be real, they were all good. I love Pickle, and it's a shame I can't visit it over and over again. Whenever I am in Dublin again, I plan on making a stop there again.

I had a pretty good dinner here with a group of friends. We ordered a ton of dishes to share family style. Both fish curries on the menu are totally worth ordering. The naan arrived piping hot and the wine selection was good. I definitely recommend this spot in your are in Dublin for any amount of time. The decor of the restaurant is very pretty. I don't eat goat curry, but my entire table was raving about the minced goat curry so definitely worth a order, if you like goat. Lastly the service was great. The kitchen was prompt to bring out the food and the waiters were all attentive to our needs. I would definitely come back if ever in the area again.

The service is still a little hit and miss but the food is the real star here and second time round it was even better. The stuffed potato cake was served with once of the best sauces I have eaten and the lamb bone marrow curry was tender and so flavorful. Reminded me of some of the dishes I had while in India, very authentic. It is certainly more expensive but the quality and style of food is worth the extra.

This is easily the best Indian restaurant I've been to in Dublin (and I'm a little sad that they weren't open when I lived in Ireland). I visited Pickle for dinner with a couple of my friends and had such a lovely meal. We ordered Butter Chicken, Kadai Paneer, and the Thali with lots of naan on the side. I loved my Butter Chicken, but ended up tasting my friends' meals and really liked theirs too. Pickle also has a great wine/beer menu and I ordered a Galway Hooker which went really well with Indian flavors. To finish off, we shared a Falooda which was just right. I'd love to be back again soon when I'm in town.

To me this place is five stars all the way. We popped in for a work lunch - 12 of us altogether - and everything ran just like clockwork. There's nothing worse than going for a lunch with a lot of people and the service being slow and people stressing about getting back to work on time. Not so in Pickle - we were in and out within the hour, and that included starters and mains. There have been some comments on the price point of the food. I haven't been to dinner but the lunch is terrific value. I went for one of the Kashmiri Tiffin Box, which I guess you could describe as an Indian type bento box. It came with several bits and pieces - prawn curry, lentil curry, rice, a gorgeous fluffy naan, some spicey pickle, roast veg, and a lamb kebab. Phew! It came to 14 euro which is more than worth it in my eyes. Currently they just sell wine but are setting up a bar upstairs in anticipation of their full license, so I'd definitely go back for an evening meal and try the full package!

Our first visit was a bit under whelming, but Pickle had only just opened so we knew we had to give it another go. The interior is fatastic, really warmly decorated. I prefer the back area because of the colourful retro travel posters and the open kitchen. It's quite captivating watching the chefs here busily working away, making fantastically presented Indian dishes. Today I opted for the butter chicken with rice and a bread basket (the sundries I shared with my partner). Not like butter chickens I've been use to, but still delicious. And the chicken meat was perfect, quality chicken too. I shared my hubbys starter which was a yummy venison stuffed bread. I would recommend this, it was so well seasoned and flavoured. His minced goat curry was also a highlight. Everything we ordered was great, really tasty. Staff were very attentive and service was very prompt. I highly recommend Pickle. It's a bit pricier than regular Indian restaurants, but it's not your regular Indian restaurant and the experience is worth it. I can't wait to return.

This place is a must try. We went for a celebratory dinner and were not disappointed. The place itself is fantastic, staff are welcoming and willing to help with any menu items you're not sure of, just ask! The food though, this is where it earns that 5th star, wow. Easily some of the nicest food I've had in Dublin. Everything from starter to desert was perfectly cooked, flavoured and presented. A new favourite! I'd 100% recommend the thali if available, a little taste of everything!

Lovely new addition to Camden Street! J and I had dinner here last night and really enjoyed ourselves. Pickle might be a strange name for an upscale Indian restaurant (I'm sure there is a story behind it) but they serve some pretty incredible food. We started with the jumbo prawns in a Kashmiri chilli sauce and the curried scallops Bombay. Both were excellent. Sadly they were out of the lobster curry with duck egg bhurji so we ordered the lamb and bone marrow curry and the wild boar vindaloo curry with rice and naan. J's boar was tasty but the clear winner was the lamb. It was so tender and the flavours were fantastic. The naan was also delicious. To finish the evening we decided to split the warm chocolate tart with ice cream. It was rich and so lovely. Pickle has a wonderful atmosphere, great food, and a number of reasonably priced wines. Will be back!

Can't give anything less than a five. Came here early on a Saturday evening. Food is fantastic! So flavoursome. I ordered the crispy prawns and then the chicken korma with a side of rice. I loved it all. The korma was incredible. The chicken was so tender. Also got to taste the Bombay scallops and the tandoori lamb chops. The basket of bread was also fantastic - best naan bread I've had in years!!! The staff are lovely and service was really good. I can't fault it. What a great new addition to Dublin but especially Camden Street.

Whoa, this is the fanciest Indian food I've ever had and it was delicious!! The waitress recommended some wonderful dishes that were not spicy but by the end of it, I was chugging my beer for some relief so "not spicy" is relative. Admittedly, I am cannot handle spicy foods although I do enjoy mild. For me, that was the spiciest "mild" I can handle but I enjoyed it nonetheless. Lots of great flavors. It's got a nice intimate feel and great for a date or small group.

SO GOOD. You know one of those meals your mind drifts back to and your belly rumbles - 'Take me back!!'. We went on a Wednesday, booking just 20mins in advance. The staff were lovely and attentive and the interior is gorgeous! We ordered the Samosa, Ocra Masala (a daily special), Chana Masala, selection of poppadoms, and the meat Thali. Despite our valiant effort to finish everything we couldn't do it - lesson learned (maybe). The Thali was the highlight for me, consisting of three different curries, potatoes, naan, rice and more. It was perfect to share between two! We paid around 75 euro including wine. A little pricey but most definitely worth it!

This is a great lunch spot on Camden, have never been back for dinner. What's missing for the last star? A bit more atmosphere really, and maybe a bit more risk-taking in the food department. The Lunch boxes are really good - if you're not a big eater I'd consider sharing one - and all other lunch specials are great. The Naan is a bit soggy, not what you're used to, but the flavor is definitely there. Will definitely be coming back with my work crew!

Best Indian I think I've ever had. Five star! Amazing curries, naan crazy good, rice- delicious. I have eaten Indian my whole life and the flavors here haunt me. Service was superb. Don't walk .. RUN

Lovely cuisine in a hip part of Dublin. Duck tikka was artfully served and the meat was perfect: tender, lean and great spice flavors. I also ordered minced goat curry which was also dynamite. I left incredibly full and enjoyed a nice glass of Spanish red to boot. Wish I had skipped the fish n chips in Temple Bar and eaten here for lunch.

Camden Street... You've done it again! Another top notch biz opening their doors here :-) Large group from work hit up this place for lunch, even as a large group the staff here was friendly, prompt and everything from starters to mains arrived timely and presented in the yummiest fashion! Loved their serving dishes and much props to them for their lunch box which a colleague ordered :-) We shared a mixture of starters, all were delicious though my personal fave was the veg samosa and for my mains, I had chicken tikka masala... It was so flavoursome and packed just enough spice! Really is great seeing an Indian stay authentic to the food but offer personality and a good vibe with their quirky interior! Really enjoyed my lunch here and can't wait to come back... Whether lunch or dinner, you're in for a treat when you go here... Awesome Indian food in a casual setting! Express lunch menu means you are in / out if your in a rush. Place was very busy / wise to make a reservation if you wanna guarantee a seat

Hands down the best Northern Indian food I've eaten in my life. I was visiting Dublin for work and my friends kept telling me to come to this place. I had to get a reservation since it was busy and packed almost all the time. I decided to try something new and got the crispy potato cakes filled with ginger, green peas, black raisins, dates and tamarind chutney. Normally I wouldn't think these ingredients would come together so well, but wow, I was surprised! It tasted delicious and I couldn't get over how amazing it was. I also added the Farmer's Chicken and naan bread, which were wonderful as well. The staff were very attentive and I was impressed by their attention to detail. I'm so glad I came there and you will too.

Excellent food and excellent service. This place was so good that we had dinner there twice on a five day holiday. After doing all the typical tourist pubs in Dublin, it was nice to eat something a little different. I'm a huge fan of Indian food but this place blew away most places I've been recently. The food was superb - we sampled many appetizers and main dishes (shared with 5 adults). The service was friendly and efficient, the wine list was good. Also, the restaurant is in a great location with lots of cool spots to explore after dinner. Wish I lived closer!

My absolute best restaurant experience in Dublin. Exceptional menu and wonderful service. Every item was pitch perfect. It's a hard table to get, but keep trying. Well worth it! We were a group of three and shared the Tandoori Jhinga, Duck Tasting, Venison Keema Samosa, Farmer's Butter Chicken, Saag Gosht, the Amritsari Dal Fry, and the Tandoori Bread Basket.
