Creative French bistro classics, local seafood, and a bakery

"A Parisian-style bistro with sidewalk seating that’s often abuzz, this is our al fresco lunch for people-watching in the village." - Jessica Chapel, Emily Adler

"When in Bridgehampton, I always indulge in a lunch or brunch at Pierre's. It feels like a little slice of St. Tropez—grab a sidewalk table and people-watch the entire afternoon." - Elise Taylor
"Pierre’s is a French bistro with a Hamptons crowd that winters in St. Barts. And the daily bistro-style specials, plus staples—like Maine lobster fricassée flambéed with cognac, and roast rack of lamb coated in herbs de provence—are actually good. Pierre’s can be a great time as long as you’re in the right mindset (and budget). Just slick your hair back and wear your finest white pants. For a more casual experience, grab a salad, sandwich, or smoothie from Pierre’s market next door." - melissa kravitz hoeffner

"Open 365 days a year, the cozy bistro with a bakery up front and market next door has become a regular kitchen for residents as well as visitors who enjoy staples like roast chicken or rack of lamb as well as nightly specials such as bouillabaisse. Vegetarians can make a plate by selecting 4 items from the extensive list of sides, and local grilled tuna is so tender you don’t need a knife to cut it. Though prices are in line with other top Hamptons spots, a massive lobster at $60 is a relative bargain. Save room for the oversized macaron filled with fresh raspberries and cream." - Beth Landman
