"Pigeon Bagels offers a fresh-made menu of bagels, including options like lox and whitefish, cream cheese, and everything bagels. The venue is located in Squirrel Hill, a Jewish community, and has a sleek, retro branding. The bagels have a soft crumb and a nice crunch on the crust. The menu also includes vegan options, rugelach, challah buns, and house-made hummus, all of which are 100% kosher."

"“It would be hand-rolled, it would be boiled, it would be cooked directly on stone,” is how Gab Taube, owner of Pigeon Bagels, envisions the “Pittsburgh bagel.” Since 2019, Taube’s been busy making that vision a reality and drawing long lines every day. In Pittsburgh, Pigeon’s fresh-made menu of bagels is a true rarity. The bagels have a soft crumb that breathes out steam when sliced, and a nice crunch on the crust. The lox and whitefish are rich and smoky; the cream cheese levels are pleasantly modest; and the everything bagel has the same devotion to balance—no hard pops of garlic or intense gusts of onion. I could go on: the buttery-sweet rugelach and challah buns, the creative vegan options (carrot lox!), the fig and honey schmear, and the house-made hummus, all of it 100% kosher." - ByThe Bon Appétit Staff & Contributors

"There are a few bagel chains in Pittsburgh, but it’s not a place that’s known for having great options for circular bread. That is until Pigeon Bagels opened in a small brick building on Hobart Street in Squirrel Hill. It’s the perfect cure after a long night of brewery hopping and the poppy bagel with sun-dried tomato cream cheese is one of our favorite combinations. There are also pastries and coffee, and if you’re here on one of the three days a year that the sun is shining, take your bagels and coffee to Frick Park up the road." - Kenny Gould

If you’re looking for an authentic bagel shop in Pittsburgh, this is your place, I’ve yet to come across anything else like it. Has that New York feel to it, low-key in and out kind of place. Everything is fresh so it’s pretty hard to have a bad experience here.

Waited online for 25 minutes on a Sunday morning to try this popular bagel café and I was not impressed. The bagel was small, crunchy and dry. Not worth the hype.

Google
Had the garlic bagel with jalapeño cream cheese and it was so good. My friend had the lox and he loved it too. The coffee was nothing great though, just an average coffee. We went on a Saturday noon so the queue was about 30 min long but it’s totally worth the wait imo.

Google
Awesome bagels! I'd recommend their everything bagel with cream cheese. They have lots of toppings, bagel flavors, assorted pastries, delicious specialty lattes and vegan options as well (like vegan lox). It's a small but popular spot so sometimes there is a bit of a wait. I'd recommend going a bit after it's busy in the morning (maybe 10am?) but try a few different times to see what's the best wait time for you.

Google
Pigeon Bagels has some of the best bagels I've ever had - period. The bagels here compete with the best, including New York and Montreal. The line can be a little long, but worth every minute of the wait. I had the classic Lox on a garlic+sea salt bagel, and it was absolutely exquisite. Brimming with lox and capers, with their creamy herb schmear to tie it all together. Absolutely PERFECT.

Our family loves their bagels so much! This is the best bagel place in Pittsburgh. We usually go around 7:30-8am and yet we still have to wait a bit. My husband and I love their tofu herb schemer and surprisingly our toddlers also love their tofu herb schemer too! My favorite is their “veggie”, which comes with fresh veggies of the day in a bagel of your choice. So fresh and good!!!!! Their espresso drinks are not as good as you can get in a coffee specialized place, but it’s okay because their bagels are so delicious! For drink, I would just get their special latte (like pumpkin spice latte) or just regular drip coffee. They work so efficiently inside and hands down for their friendly and professional atmosphere! Maybe would not recommend to go after 9am if you don’t want to wait so long. They sometimes sell a bag of one day old bagels for sale and this is such a good deal.

Google
This tiny place only accommodates 5 costumers at the time but the wait is short and totally worth it (plus, there is water outside). The menu is simple, bagels filled with delicious spread varieties, rugaleh and halla. We had the traditional chocolate rugaleh which was perfect and the fig rugaleh which offered a great combination of the sweet poppyseed frosting and the rich fig flavor. Coffee was great too and the staff is super nice and helpful. They close early so make sure to plan accordingly. Recommended!

First of all, I grew up in Manhattan in a neighborhood that had some of the best bagels you can find anywhere. That being said, the bagels here are very good. The cream cheese on the bagel and Nova sandwich had a little bit of a different taste to it that I didn't love. Whatever they are mixing with it to make it spread more easily did not bode well with me. The smoked salmon was delicious. The wait time, and fact that you can't order ahead and just pick it up are deal breakers for me. Both times that I came here on a Sunday mid-to-late morning, I had to wait 45 minutes on a line because they don't accept phone orders. I suppose if you are a local this is a Sunday ritual, but if you are just looking to get a great bagel and get on the road, it's probably not the place for you. In New York at any given bagel store I've never waited more than 5 minutes to be waited on and have my food prepared. So for that reason and the weird cream cheese, it's doubtful I will return. However, if you are local and want to make your own sandwich at home with your own cream cheese and smoked salmon, I would recommend this place for their bagels alone.

Yelp
My favorite bagel spot in Pittsburgh. As a New Yorker I have high expectations of bagels and these are the only ones I can find in Pittsburgh that have lived up to expectations. Great crunch and flavor. Always fresh coming out warm and have great cream cheese options. The staff is always kind. Ambiance is simply a take out spot and due to its popularity there normally is a line out the door, so be ready to wait. With that said the line moves at a good pace and it's worth the wait

Amanda H.

Yelp
Was the bagel good? It was edible Was it worth the wait? Not for me Stood in line and overheard others talking about how these are the best bagels ever. The positive reviews had me convinced as well, which is what lead me to make the drive. Not sure I get the hype around this place. It was ok, but nothing to write home about. We stood in line for about 30 minutes on a cold Saturday morning - a seemingly shorter wait than other yelpers have reported. The bagel seemed kind of hard and not very fresh. Not soft at all. My jaw actually popped trying to bite through the sandwich. Street parking is limited. I got lucky and found a spot close by. Service was friendly enough at least. The vegan carrot lox looked delicious, but I got the classic smoked salmon. There is a small wooden "perch" outside the entrance, but otherwise there is no seating inside or outside. Really disappointed as I was expecting much better quality.

Amanda B.

Yelp
Pretty disappointed in this spot unfortunately - it has so much hype online that I tried it twice (thinking maybe I just got a bad batch the first time) but both times, it was just meh. The bagels are a bit tough and dry, and the lox and cream cheeses weren't anything special. I did enjoy the pickled peppers on my sandwich though, and thought the flavoring on the garlic & seasalt bagel was very good. Plus it's cool they offer vegan lox & the menu description of it sounded great!

Katelin D.

Yelp
I'll start with they were good but I don't get the hype. There was a line when I arrived. They weren't out of this world or in my minimal experience, like a NY bagel. Considering size, the bagels I received were small. They felt tiny in my hand? The garlic sea salt was a great flavor! I loved the crunch of the garlic and sea salt. I opted for jalapeño schmear - wasn't super flavorful but maybe my bagel flavor over powered the jalapeño. I took a marble bagel with fig and honey schmear to go for later. I'm not always on this side of town. Again, the bagel felt small in size. This bagel however was more like a NY bagel - soft on the inside with a nice crunch on the outside. I wish I would have eaten that one when it was fresh. They have vegetarian & vegan options which I loved to see on the menu! I can't speak to all of their baked goods but their GF and Vegan Brownies (not pictured) are absolutely delicious. Overall, my experience was great. Service was quick and friendly. The shop is super tiny so you're in and out which I liked. I can't say I would go out of my way to go again but if I'm in the neighborhood & have time to kill I may stumble by again.

Kelsey W.

Yelp
Delicious fresh bagels! Usually a line, but worth it! The garlic/sea salt ones are unique!!

Yelp
I stopped by here a couple of Sundays ago with my wife and our twins for our morning coffee. Every Sunday morning we try to hit up a new local coffee shop and on this morning we decided to go to Pigeon Bagels. Even though coffee isn't their main attraction, they do make coffee based drinks. This store is located on Hobart Street in Squirrel Hill. It's a tiny location and so they only allow 5 customers into the store at once. We were maybe the 3rd group waiting to go inside whenever we arrived but by the time we have left there was a long line of at least 10 groups. So there can a long wait! Once inside they have an area where you can order from that has a pastry case nearby and at another counter is their espresso machine. For my bagel on this morning I went with a marble bagel with a fig and honey schmear while my wife went with a classic lox. Then we got each of our twins a giant sprinkle covered rugelach. For our coffees I went with the cinnamon honey latte while my wife went with the []. The first thing that I ate was my bagel and I enjoyed it immensely. There was a huge amount of schmear on it which I appreciated since the fig and honey in it provided a touch of sweetness. The bagel was also awesome with a nice chew to it from the exterior but a softer interior. My wife also enjoyed her lox very much and my twins gobbled down their rugelachs. So I would have to say that all of the food we ordered from here was a huge success. The coffee was no slouch either (they use RedHawk coffee) as I enjoyed the rich coffee paired with the milk with the touch of sweetness and spice from the cinnamon and honey. My wife also really her [] here too. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. Our whole family thought that the food was awesome while my wife and I enjoyed our coffees as well.

Yelp
Wow wow wow great bagels! This place absolutely lives up to the hype if you're a chewy bagel person! Their bagels have the perfect chewy texture, are nicely dense and have great flavor. I got a bagel with white fish and a plain bagel with strawberry cream cheese - both were excellent. I know people don't usually rate bagel places on their cream cheese but Pigeon has great strawberry cream cheese, it was as if they took plain cream cheese and mixed in strawberry jam - it wasn't artificial tasting like most others. I'll definitely be back!

Jenn C.

Yelp
Worth the wait every time. Go early to make the line slightly less long than if you go later in the day. Their bagels are truly so fresh so that when we waited a few hours later to have half it was not as good. Not much of a place to sit since it is so small, but great if it is a nice day and you can walk aroumd. Fair warning with the herb cream cheese is that it will have more green onion than expected, almost to the point where it overwhelms a good everything. Do not avoid the pastries in the case, they are so worth it.

Bethany L.

Yelp
If I could eat a garlic and salt bagel from Pigeon everyday, I would be incredibly happy. First, they are so fresh, soft and chewy - and when you orders schmear, they don't put an aggressive amount on, like some places. This is a very small place, so only so many folks are allowed inside. I was able to watch in immediately on a Thursday morning - but stood in line for 30 minutes on a Sunday morning. So just be prepared for that! I've had two different seasonal lattes from them and didn't love them - but I'm here for the bagels, so don't mind. They also have different pastries for sale.

Angie C.

Yelp
I spend a lot of time in New York City and regularly stash bagels from my favorite spot there in my luggage to bring home. Talking to a local NYC transplant friend recently about few Pittsburgh bagels measure up, she asked if I had tried Pigeon. She said anytime she goes, she brings home a dozen to freeze. I knew she would not steer me wrong so, before the New Year's Day holiday, I decided to set out to fill my freezer with some really good bagels. Pigeon is a tiny spot with a few parking spots for patrons, but you will most likely find street parking around the corner. You will then wait in a short line until it's your turn to go in, as they allow five patrons in the small shop at once. The staff is so friendly, helpful and efficient. There are only about a handful of bagel types, schmears and sandwiches, so your choices should be quick. I got half a dozen to take home, a container of fig and honey cream cheese that sounded absolutely dreamy, and could not pass up a sandwich with vegan carrot lox to try. They even have a herb tofu schmear. Amazing!! The garlic and sea salt bagel combines two of my favorite bagel flavors and is absolutely delicious. Just the right amount of crunch and chewiness; this is a true NY style bagel. My vegan carrot lox, which came with red onions and capers as well, was such a treat. I've never had actual lox since I've been a vegetarian since age 5, but this had a rich savory, smoky taste, and it was clear how much thought and care had been put into the ingredients. I was so impressed with this offering, both in the fact that it existed at all and in its execution. I also got a delicious cold brew, and the first of my half dozen bagels at home was so delicious with the slightly sweet, creamy, fig-dotted cream cheese. I'm guessing you can't go wrong with anything you order here. I am sure I will be back far too often than is good for my waistline. Wonderful.

Michelle Z.

Yelp
LOVE this bagel place!! Their bagels are so huge and perfectly chewy, and crusty. And they're so generous with the cream cheese too. I'm obsessed with figs so my favorite cream cheese option is the fig & honey. I paired it with the sesame bagel, and it was delicious (although hard to eat since the sesame seeds kept falling off with every bite). Wish they had seating, but it's more of a grab and go type place. There will probably be a line but it's worth the wait! Some of the best bagels in Pittsburgh for sure. The staff are friendly and it's really cool seeing the bagels being freshly made inside the store.

Kayla K.

Yelp
As someone who grew up around New York City and lived and breathed New York bagels for the first 22 years of my life, I can say that this is a pretty good dang bagel. You could tell that these bagels were incredibly fresh. I went a bit savory and ordered the garlic salt bagel with herb cream cheese, and it was absolutely perfect. The only downside I may have was at the bagel was so warm and fresh that it melted the cream cheese. Not a bad problem to have. Coffee was delicious as well. Wish it was a bit bigger of a location because it was definitely toasty waiting outside to be let in!

Laura W.

Yelp
After a less than great experience at another bagel shop, I found Pigeon Bagels looking for cream cheese. The cream cheese is amazing as well as the bagels. I wish I would have taken a picture of the Garlic/Sea Salt but I ate it in the car on the way home!! The staff makes the entire experience even better. I found them by accident and will now be a regular customer.

Steven H.

Yelp
This is a small space that packs a big punch, offering some of the best bagels in town. Pittsburgh does not have many options for quality bagels made in-house, I am thankful that Pigeon is here producing high quality bagels and schmears. I got an everything bagel that was fresh and had the perfect bagel texture. It paired well with the latte that I ordered. While their specialty is bagels, the latte was solid and the coffee is a nice feature of this shop. Service was friendly and professional. They are definitely running a premium operation, so stop by to support local excellence!

Pete J.

Yelp
So the bagels and schemer were extremely good. I sample a plain bagel, no schemer and it was extremely fresh, crispy exterior with a soft interior. Then I ate garlic and sea salt bagel with fig and honey schmear to get the sweet and salty flavors. It was great. I also got a cold brew which was just okay. The biggest downside to me is the wait. From time of entering line to receiving my bagel, 50 minutes. I mean it was great but I don't know that I want to wait that long.

Lacee E.

Yelp
The bagels and various cream cheeses are delicious. I highly recommend the veggie bagel sandwich with an everything bagel and herb cream cheese. Pigeon Bagels is very popular and the space is not very big so there will likely be a line, especially on the weekends. They will also probably run out of things if you come too late. The staff is very friendly and works hard to move the line, but there are a lot of people who want these bagels!

Molly H.

Yelp
I've gotten bagels form Pigeon twice and both times I've been blown away by their incredible titular food. Their bagels are the best in Pittsburgh, no question in my mind. They're chewy, soft, and have a perfect bite. The schmears are also fantastic, I especially love the fig and honey flavor. They also offer excellent baked treats such as rugelach, challah, and cinnamon rolls (which also may be the best in the city). They serve great coffee as well! It's a to-go setup, with a small cashier station inside where you place your order and get your food in a quick span of time. They have a very wise rule of only 5 people inside at a time, which prevents chaos or confusion with orders and allows for a less crowded experience. It's not on Murray or Forbes, more of a residential street corner, and it's street parking only. It's a very popular spot, so if you're going on a Saturday morning, prepare to wait at least 20 minutes in line. I cannot emphasize this enough - the wait is worth it. And that's coming from someone who drives 30 minutes to get to Squirrel Hill! I'm eager to return soon and try some more flavors and enjoy some fun seasonal treats in the coming weeks. Selfishly I don't want Pigeon to get any more popular because it's already SO busy, but at the same time, I want everyone to experience the magic of these bagels!

Sidney Z.

Yelp
I was brought up in San Francisco. Every Sunday morning my Dad and I would drive to McAllister St. to pick up bagels; this would also include lox, cream cheese, onions and capers. BTW, yes, I'm part of that tribe! As I grew up and moved around from place to place I (kind of) kept up that tradition: New York - Russ & Daughters Los Angeles (Sherman Oaks actually) - Hanks Bagels Chicago (Skokie actually) - New York Bagel & Bialy Corporation D.C. - Goldberg's New York Bagels So, arriving in Pittsburgh this week to meet with some friends, I (of course) had an itch for a "loaded" bagel. I mentioned that to one of my sons and he told me, "You're in Pittsburgh? Then, ya gotta go the Pigeon Bagels. They make the best bagels in the city!" Well, from the mouths of babes - he was spot on correct. Pigeon was as good as all of the bagel houses mentioned above. Their menu had so many iterations of what a "loaded" bagel could be, I had to stop and take notice of my choices; but in the end, I had my usual bagel with lox, cream cheese, onions and capers. It was truly delicious. My wife had their veggie bagel with a schmear of hummus. She loved it. Their coffee was really (really) good and the service was wonderful. We ate these robust sandwiches in our car and I was terrified they would ooze cream cheese and hummus all over the place and make a mess. Low and behold, both bagels stayed together so well, it defied physics? Not a crumb or bit of debris anywhere. This was impressive! I loved Pigeon Bagels! It now sits on my very "Heady" bagel list.

Cara B.

Yelp
Cute and small local bagel shop in squirrel hill! Line forms VERY quickly so come early, prepare to wait, and dress warm! We arrived at 11:30 and waited 30-45 min to order. Bagels and coffee were warm, yummy, and well worth the wait!!

Joe H.

Yelp
I drive from Bridgeville to Squirrel Hill for the bagels. Try the egg cream. It's the most yummy drink.

Jack D.

Yelp
Under sized bagels with too much cream cheese. Bagels are so average and not well toasted. I don't understand the appeal.

David R.

Yelp
These bagels are serious bagels, which is to say they are super tasty authentic bagels. They are dense crusty bagels (all in the good way) and definitely worth trying.

Abbie w.

Yelp
Two days later and we had to make a stop before we left Pittsburgh. We went out of our way to go here again and you should too--genuinely the BEST bagels and coffee you will find on this side of PA!

Nora C.

Yelp
Wow! A real bagel outside of NYC. The texture and flavor was exactly what I missed about NY bagels. The bagel was warm right out of the oven. Staff were pleasant. A small line but it moved quickly.

Duo O.

Yelp
These bagels are very good, they were made by my good friend who is a pigeon, I love supporting small bird business owners. B 2 B no longer means business to business, it now means Bird 2 Bird!

Thomas R.

Yelp
Everything is amazingly fresh and delicious. There will be a small line to get to get in, but it goes by fairly quickly and it's definitely worth the wait.

Taylor M.

Yelp
People come flocking to Pigeon Bagel. Pigeon Bagel is quite the establishment that everyone is chirping about. Located just outside Schenley Park and on corner of Horbart and Wightman Street is Pigeon Bagels nestled into its petite footprint, and adorned by a mural of its establishment with characters seemingly out of a modern day take to Alice and wonderland. Inside you will find a bustling establishment and its work area. You can find the menu on the counter and right outside the door before entering. Parking is cramped and you must traverse the area to find a parking spot, especially if Pigeon Bagel is over encumbered by customers. I enjoyed a bagel with my personal touch that being of fig and honey smear, cucumbers, smoked salmon aka Lok. The bagel sandwich was mouth watering and left me wanting more, even after I hastily devoured my highly tasteful delight. Needless to say I recommend this as a must return establishment! Enjoy!

William D.

Yelp
We were looking for a good bagel spot and we found this great one. The bagels were amazing! Our 6 year old loved his plain bagel with strawberry cream cheese. I had a seasame bagel with jalapeño cream cheese and strawberry jelly. So good.

Moshe L.

Yelp
This place kinda stinks. Service is average at best. Ambiance is pretty horrible. Not tryna spend $10 for a bagel with something on it. Price gauging probably because it's a college student living block. And they're ridiculously woke and "progressive" so probably better off avoiding altogether.

Mable D.

Yelp
Anytime I want a bagel, I go to Pigeon Bagel. There are long lines, but it is so worth it. Their bagels are really good -- really really good. I usually get the lox bagel or an everything bagel with the fig and honey spread. These are probably the best bagels I've had ever. Even one bagel fills me up. I've even brought friends here, and they have also agreed that they are the best bagels they have ever had. The organization I'm part of even did pre-orders of Pigeon Bagels for fundraising because everyone wanted them. They are really worth the wait. Parking in the area is pretty hard, but I usually park in the do-not-park area for the craft store next door. There's cool artwork right outside the door, and they sometimes sell right outside the window. Last I went, they transitioned to selling inside the place. They still take COVID precautions with people wearing masks and them asking customers to wear masks as well. They also sell merch inside the store (tote bags, shirts, etc.).

Jamie S.

Yelp
I love their bagels. They are so warm and fluffy and fresh! Pigeon bagel is an entire experience that I always look forward to. My favorite is the fig cream cheese on sesame bagel. Such a delicacy I love to pair that with a honey oat milk latte. There is no dining, so try and get there early and dress warm so you're able to wait in line masks are required inside, but they do provide some in the line. I absolutely adore the mural to look at while you're waiting in line! Is

Alexa C.

Yelp
This place has been on my list for a while and I finally had a chance to stop in for lunch. They do quite a business and get busy fast! I managed to beat the rush by a narrow margin around 12:15pm on a Wednesday. The service was impeccable, their staff walked me through the menu and my order was completed in about 5 minutes. While messy to eat, my sandwich was so fresh and tasty. Pigeon has many seasonal and to-go offerings, as well as pastries. Note that the parking lot is reserved for a neighboring business, however there's on street parking available on Hobart.

Lauren A.

Yelp
Great bagels!! And how cool is it that they have tofu shmear?? Calling all my lactose intolerant homies this is the place to go. Tastes the same as regular shmear; same consistency. They nailed it. Coffee was great too.

Dan O.

Yelp
Tasty bagels in the beautiful enclave of Squirrel Hill. It's hard to beat and their round challah bread was beautifully baked as well.

Dennis E.

Yelp
Fast service in tiny shop if you don't mind the lines. Rugallah was dry, cookie was ok, bagel was very messy. Warning- they will toast the bagel unless you specify not to do so.

Logan J.

Yelp
Bagels were expensive and awful, had to wait in like in the freezing cold outside, they still wear masks.. what a joke of a place.. 1/5 stars

Lauren B.

Yelp
Solid bagels and decent schmear - I just wasn't blown away. My coffee was delicious - honey and cinnamon latte with oat milk. The plain bagel was really good. The garlic on the garlic and sea salt bagel was a little too cooked, giving it that sharp garlic flavor instead of a deep rich flavor. The cream cheese doesn't have that sour/tang/bite that I normally look for. So if you like a more mild cream cheese, this would be awesome.

Blake S.

Yelp
Best bagels in the 412 hands down. Worth the wait, killer coffee situation as well!!! Service spot on

Courtney F.

Yelp
Bagels are fresh and delicious. Probably best in the city. Worth waiting in line for for sure! They still enforce masks and you cannot go inside but that doesn't bother me. I got a bunch of marble bagels which were phenomenal. My only negative would be that I wish the jalapeño schmear had a bit more jalepeno and spice but other than that, pure perfection

Ashley P.

Yelp
I came later on Saturday afternoon and there was a line out the door. The line moved fairly quickly though. Once inside, you're required to wear a mask. I ordered a half dozen bagels, mostly everything (my fave), one egg bagel, and one garlic/sea salt. I tried to get a marble, but they were sold out. I walked from Schenley Park, and had to drive home from there, so I didn't get any of their sandwiches or cream cheeses. They offered freezer bags, which is awesome because that's exactly what I planned on doing with the majority of the bagels. The bagels were great! I am a Pittsburgh transplant by way of Long Island, so I appreciate a good bagel. The everything was my favorite (as usual), then the garlic/sea salt. The egg was a little boring, but that's pretty much to be expected. The everything had more rye seeds than I'm accustomed to, but overall, the crunchiness was there on the outside with the fluffiness on the inside. I'll definitely be back to try one of their sandwiches. I hear they have vegan carrot lox, which sounds interesting! The fig and honey cream cheese sounds great as well.

Paul H.

Yelp
Quite possibly the best bagels I've ever tasted anywhere, period - no hyperbole... Wish there was something even close to this where we live!

Jessica H.

Yelp
This is a great coffee and bagel spot! Truly great bagels. There's always a line no matter what the weather is and people wait which I think attests to how great this place is. I usually get the plain bagel and my boyfriend gets garlic and sea salt bagel, we both get it with the fig and honey schmear. You can only fit five people inside to order but it moves fast. It's not a sit-down place so we usually go to the park after ordering. The staff is always pleasant and friendly, I've never had a bad experience with service here. We aren't fans of the pastries, every so often we'll try a new one and it's just alright but we can definitely rave about the drinks. Our go-to coffee order is vanilla or lavender latte with oat milk but we've tried the rose latte, cinnamon honey latte and orangeade and they were all great! Highly recommend!

Eddie J H.

Yelp
So good, worth the wait. Got the classic lox sandwich on a plain bagel with a latte. Both were extremely filling and above satisfactory. The workers there were kind and the ambiance was amazing. I'm from out of town but next time I return I'm going back for breakfast.

Jonna D.

Yelp
No need to order a toasted bagel here because you're getting it right outta the oven.. they're so fresh. They have yummy schmear flavors like fig and honey and really pile it on. The veggie sandwich is delightful

Yelp
No long lines on the weekdays. Super quick grab and go. Coffee is great. Bagels are good too but I've personally had better. We're close to nyc so we're spoiled. However loved the tofu schmear! It was creamy, tangy, and oh so good! Even if you're not veg/an, you gotta try it. Ended up going back to grab an 8oz tub. My only gripe is the varying size of the bagels. One of the bagels sandwiches we got was a lot bigger than the other one because the bagel itself was bigger. This isn't something I usually take notice of but the size difference was significant enough to notice.

Yelp
Great bagels! Definitely a must visit for bagel lovers. I also recommend the carrot lox. They nail it. The only drawback is the line. I really wish they would separate the sandwich line from the bulk bagel customers.

Yelp
Best Bagels in Pittsburgh! They have a huge variety of sandwiches and cream cheese options, my favorite is the one with jalapeño schmear. Bagels are usually fresh, well made and generous in size. I ordered a veggie garlic and salt bagel with vanilla latte, jalapeño schmear and the marshmallow brownie. They were all delicious! There has always been a long line whenever I've visited but trust me it's worth it! There is no seating available. It's easy to find parking in the the area.

Yelp
Cute little place with a line outside at all times. Due to demand you will only be able to buy 2 dozen bagels at the most. I checked out their menu online & was so excited to see they had egg bagels on their menu. It's so hard to find an egg bagel anywhere. We make the drive all the way over there, wait in line & guess what, egg bagels aren't even on their menu anymore. We opted for plain & the garlic and sea salt to take home. The bagel is just so dense and holds up very well. There was indeed too much salt on the bagel for me. We took a tub of cream cheese home, which I didn't care for, it had no flavor at all. We also got a tub of the smoked whitefish too. It was ok. If you're in the area it is a great stop.

Yelp
Do I love the bagel? Yes. Do I hate the process? Yes. This place does do a good bagel. No doubt about that. The problem is the line. Doesn't matter what time I go or what the weather is, there's always a line snaking up the sidewalk. Every. single. time. Granted, I can only go on a weekend due to having to be at work before they open, but the line is always so long. Perhaps it's intentional. After all, people tend to think they have something special if they have to wait for it. Not me though. If I have to wait outside in a 45 minute line, I'm just going somewhere else. Bottom line - it's a good bagel. If they could figure out the efficiency issue, I'd eat a lot more of them. As is, you need to be a more patient sort than I if you want to enjoy this.
