The Best Restaurants and Bars in Carlsbad, California | Eater San Diego

"The outpost in the Beacon La Costa is the first San Diego branch of the popular Los Angeles-based pizzeria whose James Beard-recognized, California-style pizzas start with a fermented sourdough pie crust. Try Zoe’s Pepperoni and the iconic Honey Bear pizza with sausage, honey, and bee pollen, followed by a Superba gluten-free tahini brownie. The full bar features the popular Pitfire Margarita and slushies like the Negroni Freezoni." - Candice Woo

Pizza was tasty and looked great! Atmosphere was great and sunny outside. My company was great too. 10/10 would return. Good beer too.

Google
Nice pizza overall. I recommend you try it once. The toppings are fresh, and the location is welcoming. Friendly staff. Most pizza's are around 20 bucks, which is a good deal for the size you get. My only personal critique is that the dough, while delicious in flavor, is quite dense and filling, with a small crumb. It's also soft and squishy, when I prefer crunchy. But hey, most people don't eat the crust anyway, so have at it!!

Google
We really like Pitfire Pizza — the food is great when it’s right, and the atmosphere and drinks are always on point. The staff is friendly and they always fix any mistakes, which we really appreciate. The reason for 3 stars is the kitchen consistency: a few times now our pizza has been burnt, forgotten in the oven, or missing toppings, so we’ve had to wait around while they remake it. When it finally comes out, it’s fantastic — but it shouldn’t be such a gamble. We’ll definitely keep coming back, but really hope they tighten up the kitchen side so the experience matches the quality of the food.

It was our first time here, and we had a fantastic evening! We sat at the bar and were lucky to have Pam as our server. She was attentive, friendly, and made navigating the menu a breeze. The food was outstanding, and Pam’s great service made the experience even better. We’re already looking forward to coming back and sitting in her section again!

Google
Fantastic spot for flavorful pizza! Whether you go for a Long Island at the bar, or a specialty pizza, the quality always shines. Their friendly staff make the experience even better. Whether you’re dining in or grabbing takeout, Pitfire Pizza is a must-visit for great food and good vibes.

Google
Came here to try the honey bear pizza everyone raves about. While it was ok, even good, it just was lacking more flavor besides sweet. I was hoping for more of a honey hot pizza flavor than just straight honey. However the other pizzas we had with traditional red sauce were amazing! The crust is so different, it’s just delicious! I would definitely come back for an original flavored pizza again.

Google
Had a business group of about 35 people come together for lunch, had an absolute blast. Our table had a Margarita pizza and a Honey Bear Pizza. So delicious. My first time trying a Honey Bear pizza. Great vibe here. Really great people. Food is excellent. One coworker had a market salad and loved it.

Google
The pizza was burnt beyond belief. Got the farmers plate and one of the items was mistaken for what we wanted. One of the folks said the kitchen will make a replacement and nothing showed up. We ended up just leaving after finishing our meal.

Yelp
Pizza is among the best. First had Pitfire in North Hollywood and it was a local favorite. Try the Caesar salad as well. You will not be disappointed.

Yelp
Customer service is horrible. Ordered online for pick up. Advised multiple cashiers about order and waiting and was told it would take 15 minutes. Waited within view of cashier. After 30 minutes and seeing many people get their food, decided to come to the register and asked again. Lo and behold, the order was just sitting there...cold. The pizza was okay, the honey bear. It was cold and nothing spectacular. The chopped salad was decent. Sometimes taste of the food is affected not only by the attitude of the facility but also the temperature.

Yelp
We stopped by for dinner before catching a movie at Cinepolis recently. Didn't really know what to expect, as my husband is super picky about his pizza, but we were so pleasantly surprised. We each got a beer to start and really appreciated the various brews and cocktail choices that they had. They also seem to have a decent selection of wine for those who are into that as well. Definitely will have to make a return visit that isn't so rushed by having a movie to get to. Now onto the food! We started with a Caesar salad, which at some places are just overpriced plates of grocery store Caesar salad mixes. We were pleasantly surprised with the freshness of the salad and the overall quality of it. Definitely a stark contrast to the salads we've had at other places lately. The pizza was obviously the real star of the show. We got a regular pepperoni, which is usually our go to. Normally, I'm never one to like the crust on pizzas. It's often I just eat it just to finish it but I never care for it. The crust here was so flavorful I found myself eating AND enjoying every last bite of each slice. Not sure what they put in it but they're doing something right here. I can't say much other than the pizza was just pizza-ing. Everything you're looking for in a pizza you'll find here. We will definitely be back for another casual date night in the future!

Yelp
Ok place with really good pizza. We have to order from the bartender but when they both ignore you, that's annoying. Pleasant enough when they got around to paying attention. Beer was ok. Wine selection meh. Went with a frozen marg but omg. Way too sour and way too much booze ( I know that may not be seen as a problem). But these were some boring premade mixes in a slushie machine. Yuk. Boneless buffalo wings were excellent. Pizza was delicious. Meatballs very mediocre. The ambience is nice and casual. So if they're not going to up the booze menu, maybe just have the bartenders pay attention when people sit at the bar for dinner?

Yelp
Did it on Uber Eats and it was fantastic did the honey bear pizza (no chilis) crispy and a side salad. We used to eat at Pit Fire in Manhattan Beach and wasn't sure if it was the same kind of spot down here, but it is, the pizza was fantastic. Salad great service on Uber eats was just spectacular. Can't wait to come in and eat in person. Really good spot highly recommend.

Yelp
Bomb pizza! We DoorDashed the pizza to our hotel. Super convenient and fast. We ordered Zoe's pepperoni, sausage party, and pesto chicken. The kids were supposed to eat the pepperoni but devoured the other two pizzas. The crust was to die for! Must have when in the area.

Yelp
Delicious wood fired pizza. Crust is never soggy and they give generous toppings. I also really love that they always have great vegetable sides for $6-$9. So nice to have something other than salad with a pizza. The Brussel sprouts are my favorite, but the seasonal veggies like squash never disappoint. Staff are friendly. Sometimes this restaurant is super busy and others it is super casual and quiet.

Yelp
Was craving pizza otw back to OC coming from SD and made a pit stop here. Enjoyed their honey bear pizza and chicken and mushroom cavatoppi

Yelp
Open and spacious restaurant. Their bar is located in the middle and the staff is super friendly here. Heard a lot of great things about Pitfire Pizza and was looking forward to trying them and they did not disappoint. For appetizers we ordered the Meatballs, Kale Salad, Garlic Knots, and Baked Mac N Cheese. We tried the Honey Bee and Margherita. The Margherita is vegan made with cashew cheese. The pizzas are sourdough crust and so good. Mac N Cheese was super cheesy and loved the crisp top. Meatballs were a great dish served with ricotta cheese and bread. They're a great place for kids or get together with friends.

Yelp
Tried out this new pizza place and loved it. Not too long of a wait to be seated. They had so many appetizers that we wanted to try. Luckily they had a "choose three" option so we tried the avocado, acorn squash, and Brussels sprouts. All were delicious. Next came the pizza. Nice thin crust, cooked well, and delicious. Glad to have this new pizza option added to my choices. Can't wait to go back soon.

Yelp
We came on a Friday evening, around 4. There was no wait and many open tables, including a large comfy booth we snagged. We were instructed to order at the bar which wasn't too busy so we had no problem or wait ordering. Food came out hot and quickly. We got the Honey Bear pizza. It was the perfect combination of sweet and savory, and really not spicy even with the chillis. I loved the creamy ricotta. We also ordered the Epic BBQ chicken. I was pleasantly surprised that the chicken was a smoked pulled chicken, and it was delicious and flavorful. Then Buffalo wings were boneless and a little spicy. Not needed with the amount of pizza we got. But they were delicious nonetheless. Finally my daughter got the cheese pizza which was a good serving and hit the spot. I also appreciated their non alcoholic beer options. Will be back!

Yelp
The mushroom pizza is the best pizza I've ever had. Hands down. My husband isn't even a fan of mushrooms and he also couldn't get enough. Pitfire Pizza was absolutely amazing - such a fun spot, great vibe, fantastic food and overall such an awesome addition to the area. I cannot wait to come back.

Yelp
PEACE, LOVE, AND VEGAN CHEESE The unmistakable aura of freshly baked California-style pies draws you into the Pitfire. Amidst an endless realm of pizza, pasta, and salad joints, this hidden gem awaits those who seek a unique experience. The menu enchants you with a cornucopia of pizza... each crafted from 48-hour fermented dough baked in a Marra Forni oven. From classics like Margherita, Pepperoni, and Sausage Pies... to the adventurous Smashing Pumpkin topped with goat cheese and pumpkin oil, this shop has something to appease every palate. You can endlessly customize your pizza, or go for a gluten-free alternative crust... and don't forget to add everybody's favorite ingredient: vegan cheese.  A shaved kale or a sliced steak salad can accompany your entree of chicken cavatappi, linguini bolognese, or maybe a vegetarian plate. What sets Pitfire apart from the rest is their unwavering commitment to quality. Every ingredient is meticulously selected and sourced locally. The atmosphere within the shop is serene and welcoming, with an ambiance that feels like a warm embrace from your favorite grandparent. The hospitable staff adds to the allure, creating an experience that is nothing short of fantastic. Whether you're seeking a quick lunch or a leisurely feast with friends or family, Pitfire is the perfect answer. Pro tip: For a 100% vegan dining experience, go next door. Wait, no, that's just a florist.

Yelp
Let's start off by saying I'm a little low-key jelly that this exact Pitfire Pizza is not in my neighborhood !! It's about 30 minutes away from me, but well worth the drive itself due to the inviting atmosphere, delicious food, and overall great customer service ! This is NOT just another pizza joint-- Let me break it down for yaaaa . Here's what we had to eat ! APPETIZERS-- CHEESEY KNOTS were a great carb-ey starter . The bread was cooked perfectly crisp on the outside and chewy on the inside . The roasted garlic gave it a nice, fresh, and herby bite-- and the star of the show here is the marinara dipping sauce . This sauce was jammed packed with so much flavor-- my daughter literally dipped all her food in this for the rest of the evening ! My only urk as a foodie is that I didn't really get a good cheese pull, I wish it had a bit more mozzarella-- other than that, these are still a great share ! 7.5/10 LEVELED UP ROASTED CHICKEN MEATBALLS are a must ! The meatballs were roasted so tender, you could really taste the love in this bite . The addition of whipped ricotta cheese for creaminess and the rustic boule bread for dipping is clearly a win. 8.5/10 PIZZA-- MARGHERITA is always my go-to when going to a new pizza place . There's something about the simplicity of it that basically sets me up for the rest ! What can I say, it was basic, bougie, and I loved everything about it . 9/10 HONEY BEAR dare I say is the new pineapple pizza . I'm a sucker for sweet and savory and this knocks it out of the park . It's Ricotta, Mozzarella, Provolone, Sausage, Honey, Calabrian Chile, Bee Pollen -- LITERALLY A PARTY IN MY MOUTH . Sooo soo tasty ! 10/10 I need to say both pizzas were cooked perfectly and I love that it's thin and lightly crisp on the bottom with a nice Smokey char on the crust ends-- sooo luxurious and addicting to eat ! It really lets all the toppings shine and is the humble-lightly-sauced-player in the back ! The crust itself needs the MVP award lol PASTA-- ROASTED CHICKEN & MUSHROOM CAVATAPPI was my favorite bite of the night . The chicken was juicy and tender . The mushrooms were quartered thick, and had a perfect bite . The pasta was cooked to a satisfying al dente . THE SAUCE WAS LITERALLY CRACK . We basically licked the bowl clean on this one . 12/10 SIDES-- CHARRED BRUSSELS SPROUTS were a great green companion . This was served beautiful charred, had some crisp burnt leaves that my family and I fight for, and was dressed ELOTE STYLE ! It had cotija cheese, some tajin, and you can taste some zesty tang . It was fun and delicious to eat ! 8.5/10 DESSERTS-- SMOTHERED COOKIE has two scoops of vanilla ice cream and we chose caramel and sea salt as the toppings . I wish the cookie itself was a little more moist as I like my homemade cookies slightly undercooked and doughy-- but overall still a great end to our savory feast . 5/10 DRINKS-- STAYCATION was sooo fun and bright . It reminded me of a Moscow mule, but better . Gingery, fresh, and FLIRTY . 9/10 . AWW PEAR was fruity, yet VERY STRONG . This one's not for the weak . It had a nice pear undertone . 8.5/10 FROSE MAKE IT POP was THEE Instagram drink . It's huge, it's bright pink, and it had a mini upside bottle of champagne stuck right in the middle -- so refreshing on a warm day 10/10 I love that it's an open-air restaurant -- bright natural lighting, a bar right in the middle, and you can even see the chefs preparing food in the back through a see through window wall ! It's located in a huge shopping center with plenty of parking . As soon as we walked it, we were greeted by KC who was super sweet and led us to a booth right away . Our server Cody was top notch-- love all his recommendations ! We also had the pleasure of meeting the manager Jason who was very friendly-- hilarious because I thought he was just a foodie wanting to discuss the food with us lol ! My family and I had such a great dining experience here, hope to be back again really soon ! I really want to try their garlic chicken appetizer and mushroom pizza next time !!

Yelp
Hard time ordering a pizza to go. Service was not the friendliest. Easier to go to Flippin Pizza a block away. Docked a star for their surcharge.

Yelp
My first time here was on national Pizza day. Lol. I sat at the bar and was helped right away even though it was insanely busy. I ordered my Margarita pizza to go and had a dinner salad and drink while I waited. I love the decor and the restaurant is clean and casual. The Pizza was a treat. Sourdough crust was perfectly bubbly and the sauce is tasty.

Yelp
Service GREAT! Food AMAZING! Drinks HITTER! Vibes CHILL! Definitely coming back! Thank you Pitfire Pizza team for the great experience!

Yelp
Absolutely delicious vegan options and helpful staff. Very busy but worth it! Can't wait to go back!

Yelp
Fun atmosphere, great for families with kids (very kid friendly). The pizzas are good - I only wish the dough was slightly crispier but otherwise they are yummy. My favorite is with honey and sausage and spicy peppers. However, what really shines at Pitfire is actually the salads and the cocktails! This was a perfect margarita! And the kale salad and Cesar salad are phenomenal.

Yelp
We went on a pretty busy Friday night. Staff was really friendly and we received our food really quickly. Pizzas were excellent! Plus they had the Padre game on - bonus! I've been for lunch one time before, which is a quieter vibe. The evening was pretty loud, but that's the way it is these days.
google avatar

Penny P.

Yelp
Quick friendly service. Nice open air atmosphere that was family friendly but still hip. Cocktails were on point Four of us split a pizza, salad, and pasta. Really satisfied overall.
google avatar

Yelp
We liked this place so much that we went three times in the first three weeks of opening. Granted it's within a mile of our house but nonetheless it's a fantastic addition to the neighborhood. The food is great, the vibe is casual, and it's an easy place to go with the family. We've had the field mushroom pizza (so much umami!), the pesto chicken pizza (our least favorite - not very strong on pesto), the sausage party (great meat lovers pie), and the BBQ chicken (a bit sweet but loved by the kids). We thought the chicken and mushroom pasta was perfectly cooked and hearty. The charred brussels is a creative and delicious take on brussels + Mexican street corn. Perhaps not a suprise but our biggest complaint is how busy the place is - it was not unusual to have a wait even at 530pm on a weekday night.
google avatar

Xaviera M.

Yelp
I enjoyed the brick oven pizza; the dough was perfect, and the flavors blended seamlessly. The manager, Donovan, is magnificent. I ordered a pepperoni pizza with added mushrooms, and cheesy knots.
google avatar

Trisha V.

Yelp
I was so excited to return, so many good food and drink options, including plant based or that's your thing. I was ready for my "mega pint" of wine! We had great service last time we dinned here. Love the ambiance for watching a game or catching up with friends. Sadly, this place is NOT GOOD for FAMILIES. We had a group of four adults and three children and there wasn't a table suitable for a group our size. They have many two tops, tons of bar seating and a few booths but only two tables for bigger parties like ours, one is bar height. Sadly we had to leave to eat somewhere else despite our excitement. We will be back, we will just leave the kids at home.

Yelp
I would like to update my review from 1 star to 4. This morning I received a link for a $50 gift card to Pitfire Pizza with a very nice note attached to it by Cody Hopkins (I'm assuming a manager of the restaurant), who apologized for the experience and asked to give them another chance. I definitely will, and I am hoping to be able to update my review into a 5-star at that point! In the meantime, I wanted to acknowledge the professionalism of the restaurant's management team in response to critical feedback. No defensiveness or justification, or denial, or argumentativeness. That alone earns respect and trust in me as a customer. [OLD REVIEW] Wow, this left me speechless. Usually newer restaurants are known for exceptional quality, because they are still working on establishing their name and reputation, so they make an extra effort to put their best foot forward. Please take a look at the pictures, as they're supposed to be worth a thousand words. If THIS is their best, I don't want to know what their ordinary looks like. And listen, I understand that we are all human, and we're going to occasionally mess up. However, if you SEE that the food came out clearly BURNT, how are you okay packing it up and sending it to the customer?? Would THEY want to eat the food they are packaging for delivery?
google avatar

Yelp
The ambiance and service was amazing! Everyone was so pleasant and then pizza was so good! Perfect sourdough crust with delicious soft sweet ricotta and the hot honey! Will definitely be back!
google avatar

Yelp
Such a cute place. Very open And spacious. The pizza was great. The mushroom pizza was delicious. Great menu that I can't wait to try more of. Little service delays but expected for a new restaurant working it all out. They gave us few cookies for delay. I will def go back
google avatar

Yelp
We just had our daughter's 5th birthday at Pitfire today and hands down was the best experience. We had 15 kids all 5 an under make pizzas. Donavan and the staff couldn't be more helpful and friendly. Even with all the craziness, they remained calm and patient with us. The pizza was delicious too! Great beer/wine selection and delicious cocktails. To top it off, such a great space to host a birthday party. Will definitely be coming back! Thanks again for such a nice day.
google avatar

Laura G.

Yelp
Great ambiance! I believe they recently opened but seem to have a lot of customers already. I like that some of the seating inside still feels like you're outside and is open to the outside. The pizza is great, but even their other food is amazing! I really liked the chicken meatballs and the cauliflower had a nice spice to it! Definitely will come back and try their other options.
google avatar

Yelp
Kind of a weird place. If you are dining in, you go up to the bar to order. Everything is kind of self-service....grab your silverware, napkins, plate (if you can find one) and take a seat. The food is brought out to you. The pizza is tasty due to the fresh ingredients. You can watch them making all the pizzas if you get a booth by the giant windows that separate the kitchen from the restaurant. There is a section for open air dining which is nice on pleasant days. All in all I enjoyed the meal--although pizza is just one size which is pretty big for one person. Got a margherita with pepperoni on half.
google avatar

Yelp
This spot can't be missed. My hubs and I are pizza aficionados (he's Italian, I like carbs) We've already been to Pitfire twice, and it's only been open for ten minutes We know a few decent pizza places but Pit-fire is outshining the competition right now. My faves so far are the margarita and bbq chicken pies. You can also custom build your own. there are plenty of sides/salad/pasta options as well, the squash and avocado salad among my fave. But hey, it isn't just the food; this place has got a great vibe and friendly staff. Also Carryout available. We look forward to coming here more often!

Yelp
Ordered through yelp/grubhub, hella convenient. Walking in to pick up, the place is super nice and looks really cozy. The instruction for how to order is on the wall and staff are extremely nice and personable. Grabbed the pizza and it smelled so good when we opened them. I got the Margherita pizza and my bf got the honey bear. Both pizzas were delicious. The bread wasn't too heavy or doughy the taste was really yummy. Tomato sauce/marinara had a little hint of sweet but it was soo delicious. The honey bear has a little spice but still really good flavor combo. I ordered the Mac and cheese as well and a brownie. Both were extremely delicious. The Mac and cheese wasn't over powering and the flavor was perfect, the brownie was so delicious and moist , and the fact that it was gluten free makes it even better. Definitely recommend. Price wise, it's ok. Not too crazy but quality was worth it. one last thing , the seasonal lemonade we got was the blood orange and it was amazing!!! Soo good!!!

Yelp
Man oh man! Was sooooo excited about trying this place... what a let down!! Came on a Saturday (doh) was told 45 minute wait, ok.... No probably we will hang out in the car... (we have a 4 month old) 55 minutes later we get called... they sit us in the most awkward place two person table and barely any room for our stroller, people had to keep squeezing by and couple people actually moved our stroller to get back. Horrible. We then have to go up to the counter to order food... not problem, but i stood for a good 3-4 minutes waiting for someone to take it. Finally take it and was told another 45 minutes for the pizza and cheese knots. So i ordered meatballs too, (per their recommendation) to have at the table as soon as possible. Well knots came out first so didn't even need to meatballs after all... the marinara was really sweet and not really good. Bummer. Finally our pizza!!! Well WRONG they brought my pizza but not my husbands. I asked 3 times where it was "everyone would check" another 20 minutes later- my pizza is now cold, both pizzas bland... we just decided to get boxes and go.. 3 hours total. Restaurant was packed with smallest tables ever and cold with the windows open, in my opinion not worth it... oh and it was $70!! Nice to try new places, but I dont think we'd go back!

Yelp
SO DAMN GOOD! We had the boneless Buffalo strips, garlic knots, honey berr pizza (asked to have sausage on only half) and cookie with ice cream. Pizza and chicken were to die for! Garlic knots and cookie were not hot enough so I didn't really enjoy them BUT the CHICKEN was so tender and flavorful and the pizza was perfect. Both the best I've ever had so who cares about a cookie lol The place is cute but VERY loud. The staff is excellent! So sweet and seem to be on top of their game. My only complaint is having to get up and order at the bar. I would much rather have a server wait on us. They do have staff going around and checking on the tables and delivering the food though. I saw a dad have to leave his kids alone at the table while he went to order. Not ideal. But not annoying enough that I wouldn't go back this week BECAUSE I AM! I took a couple of pix. Sorry we dug into the pizza before the pic. Looked too good and I couldn't wait.

Gordon G.

Yelp
Great food, ambiance & service. Our party of 4 adults & 2 kids ord 2 pizza (honey bear & especially good mushroom), 1 generous tasty ceasar salad shared, 2 kids (cheese pizza & butter pasta). Had leftovers. You self serve your own place settings. The food was brought over fresh out of the oven.. Mmmm. Definitely an excellent casual family eating place.

Yelp
Decided to check out this new pizza and cocktails place in La Costa. We were immediately greeted by pleasant staff and given an overview of the extensive menu of salads, pizza and cocktails. We ordered our pizza to go and sat at the bar to sample the Everybody Wants Some and the Staycation. Pizza review coming!! UPDATE!! The pizza was a big hit with a 17 year old Pizza Connoisseur!! We will definitely be back!!
google avatar

David S.

Yelp
Pizza is good with good dough - no premade yuck. Cheese knots are tasty too. Chopped salad is full of veggies - I added chicken and it's big enough for two! Highly recommend, especially weeknights with the less crowded open air seating. Nice bar area as well.
google avatar

Yelp
$80 for 3 people for lunch. Employees health fee????? We left 18% tip that was on top of the dumb fee. Margarita Pizza was plain and no toppings. Pasta was worst I ever had. One Ceaser salad and one roasted beets. only had one sangria, water, and lemonade to drink. We will not be going there again.
google avatar

Jenna D.

Yelp
We ordered to go, but the atmosphere seems so fun. We will definitely be back to eat in. The Honey Bear pizza was great. The honey scared me a little on the menu, but it was fantastic. We also really enjoyed the bacon Brussels sprout pizza. Dough is so good I actually eat the crusts! One 13" pizza is big enough for 3 adults to share and each get 2 big slices.
google avatar

Divya R.

Yelp
Came here for lunch on Sunday, thankfully no wait time, and large comfy seating places. The crust was thin and delicious. The layout of the restaurant is really nice, with the bar located in the center. The mushroom pizza was our favorite.
google avatar

Rishi R.

Yelp
Super friendly staff. Ordered 2 pizzas for take out. The Vegi was very minimal, even though ordered many more extra toppings. The mushrooms and onions were barely present. For $24 expected much more. Also the dough was extremely bland. Owning an Ooni pro, I can make this 100 times better. Sad to give a low rating to a local new spot, but they should improve their quality.
google avatar

Billy B.

Yelp
Wildly inefficient ordering system all the way around. Pros: pizza is good. Friendly staff. Cons: quick serve, which means you order from the overburdened bar tender( not kidding). Then they drop the pizza, don't forget to get your own silverware, napkins and condiments. Want to order online? Well for pick up it says to use Uber, DoorDash or postmates, only problem is none of them service them. No problem just call right? Nope! No one answered the phone for the 4x I called, When they did on the 5th time they said they're too busy to take an order. Understand places get busy, but anywhere else will tell you it would be hours, not to go to another business. Parking isn't great either. The bloom will be off this rose soon and they'll wonder why they don't have any customers. Look forward to the next restaurant in this location.....

Yelp
Meh don't get the hype. Went with a friend and kids on a Tuesday and ordered 2 pizzas and 3 kids meals. The pizzas came out first and at 10 minutes apart, and the first pizza was an unappetizing room temperature. Then 2 kids meals came out, Mac and cheese and spaghetti and meatballs. The meatballs were delicious but the sauce tasted scorched, nobody wanted to eat it so it was a waste. We sat for another 10 minutes waiting for that last kids meal, which is tough with a table of hangry kids. The mac and cheese was not a favorite, gobs of cheese looked like glue and gave my kid bathroom trouble afterwards. Ambiance is the plus- cool looking bar, nice to see the glass walled kitchen for interest and food prep transparency, seating is hip with glass encased fire heaters. It's odd you walk up to place your order or every time you need something and get your own water/drinks yet they include an employee health fee and then expect you to tip on top of that for service. Restrooms are poorly planned with 50+ kids running amuck, a full bar of drinking adults and one restroom per gender, the math doesn't work. All in all, I'm glad for the revitalization of this shopping center but this place is overrated. For $20/cold pizza I'll gladly go elsewhere.

Yelp
We arrived at pitfire at about 5:00 with a party of 7, 4 adults and 3 kids. They gave our kids some fun little toys to play with which was great to hold them over for the wait. The vibe is very fun! Good drinks, fun names, friendly staff. We ordered 3 pizzas, the Mac & cheese and the chop salad. Every dish was great! Wood fire but the crust was still soft. All the pizzas were on point. We got a slushy Marg and it was great too. I made a mistake when ordering and the manager Donovan quickly corrected it for me, no questions asked. I would definitely recommend trying it out, we will be coming back for sure!

Yelp
The food is actually amazing!!! Caesar salad was beautifully done ... soft gem lettuce, fluffy Parmesan cheese ... dressing on point. The grilled broccolini, Mac n cheese were literally perfect!! Veggies not over cooked. Mac n cheese mild but flavorful. Pizza was also so good ... thin crust but still crisp. Service was great!!! Friendly, accommodating. Great music. Sick bar. Ok ok I've said enough. This place is awesome.

Yelp
This is a great spot for casual food and drinks. I met a friend after work on a Friday around 3:00 when the place was almost empty and by 4:30 it was packed with families... it was kind of crazy! Get there early to grab a table :-)

Yelp
Very nice place to take young children and babies. We took our 10 month old and had a great time.

Yelp
Delicious! Highly recommend the sausage party pizza. The kale salad is also really tasty. I ordered three pizzas and two salads for under $100 for pick up. Can't wait to dine in and watch some football at their full bar.

Yelp
Went for a second visit and enjoyed it very much. The mushroom pizza did not disappoint, truly delicious! This was an evening visit, so we participated in learning about their adult beverages. I do not recall the name of the mescal drink, but it was quite yummy.
