Probably the best pizza and atmosphere in Birmingham. The food was incredible—thoughtfully made, fresh, and full of flavor. Our kids (8 and 5) loved it too, which says a lot. It felt like more than just a meal—it was a full experience. Our waiter was super friendly and kind, which made it even better. It is definitely on the pricey side—we got a starter, two pizzas, and drinks for everyone and it came out to around $100. But for a special night out, it was absolutely worth it. We’ll be back.

Google
Pizza Grace already makes an amazing wood-fire pizza, but I heard about what they have going on Sundays, and I had to check it out. A thinner crust, bar-style pizza. It's a pizza based menu with counter service only, although you can still enjoy the pizza in the common dining area of Mercantile. I chose to get mine to go and had a bottle of sparkling water while I waited. I think you can get beer and soda, but I'm not sure. Pizza Grace did not disappoint. Cooked perfectly, with great flavor, and a crust that I just loved. Check it out. Definitely worth it.

Google
Absolutely fantastic! The food is so delicious. The service was good. The ambiance from the candles is delightful. It's possibly the best rustic pizza I have ever had (& that's saying a lot. I know food at 6 foot 250lbs.) The garlic bread is also fantastic. The photo shows the cheese version, but we had both, and either way, it is great! We will definitely come here any time we are in town.

Google
First time to the “new” Pizza Grace…was blown away. Amazing appetizer selection. Make sure you have the watermelon salad (spicy) or the brochetta. All the pizzas are great. Fantastic service (I was so glad previous staff are still around. They take great pride in their work). The meringue peach dessert is worth a special trip. I was relieved it hadn’t sold out!!

Google
Some of the best pizza I’ve had in the south the owners in the team. Here are doing everything right. It’s definitely a spot where you want to check out in Birmingham no matter what I had the kielbasa pizza, the fall salad, the beef tallow potatoes as well as a pepperoni. The crust was perfect. Don’t sleep on the cheesecake or the special dessert.

Google
Pizza grace was a pleasant surprise. My wife and I are in Birmingham from out of town. I was saying earlier in the day that I wanted some pizza. We were exploring the city and stumbled on this place. The scenery is this neighborhood is wonderful. The pizza came out quickly and it was SPECIAL. It is a sourdough crust and it came out crispy and delicious. You can tell they use quality ingredients. It was total coincidence that we stumbled on this place. Some may say, by the GRACE of God we found it.

Some of the best pizza & cheesecake I’ve ever had! Absolutely amazing and very high quality food. Next time I’m in Birmingham I will be back! :)

Google
great pizza, great ambiance & hospitality. this is such an instagram-able restaurant. the margarita pizza was my favorite, the sausage is also really good. definitely a go-to spot when visiting birmingham.

Yelp
This pizza place was located right below where we were staying for a one night stop over. We ordered this pizza after already doing a full food crawl as people could not stop talking about how great it was. Thank goodness we did!! We got a pepperoni and it's the perfect pizza for me. The sourdough is chewy but crispy, the pepperoni is like charred in a beautiful way to make it crispy. We ate it for breakfast the next morning and it was just as good!!

Yelp
This use to be our favorite date spot... Now under new ownership... It's no longer pizza grace, but more like pizza disgrace. One of the best things on the menu was the garlic bread, now it's a cheap pizza dough drenched in cheap olive oil and parsley with cold cheese dip that reminded us of the liquid on top of cottage cheese. Sometimes, you don't have to reinvent the wheel, the wheel was working. Our pizza was burnt to a crisp, which I'm okay with, but that shouldn't be standard. A lot of the OG employees are gone, it's not about the customer service, they're all wonderful. It's because the quality of food has tanked. I'm heartbroken to even write this review, because from being a James Beard award nominee to what it is now, what a shame.

Yelp
Pizza Grace just opened under new ownership, and it is still delicious. Tucked into mercantile, it offers both indoor and outdoor seating, which is perfect for summertime. Our service was attentive and efficient. The white pie was our favorite for tonight. We tried the watermelon granita which was so refreshing. The pistachio tiramisu was delicious, but the pistachio flavor was not coming through as much as we thought it would. Also, they're collaborating with GoldenAge for the wine list - how fun!! Everything is so delicious, but this is an expensive za outing.

Yelp
This past weekend, we went to Pizza Grace because the original owners sold it to the owners of Big Spoon Creamery. So, out of fear and curiosity, we wanted to see if our favorite pizza place was still our favorite pizza place. Let's just start. The garlic bread--they switched the focaccia with pizza dough, spread fairly thin so it was light and crispy--and they swapped the garlic oil for garlic butter with herbs. This was actually really good! We both enjoyed it and thought the flavor of the butter was way better than the original garlic olive oil spread. However, I think they should have kept the focaccia bread and just swapped the olive oil with the garlic and herb butter. That would have been an easy 10/10. But unfortunately, even though it was still very good, it gets an 8.5/10. The pizza itself was still basically the same. We got the pepperoni pizza. Upon arrival and tasting, we could tell they cut back on the red pepper flakes, which we were both happy about. Our main issue was the fact that we could tell, visually, the pizza was smaller and not as big as it used to be. We didn't like that we were paying basically the same price for less pizza. I'd recommend either making the pizzas bigger again or lowering the price. This also would have been a 10/10, but we're taking off points for the pizza being visibly smaller and giving it a 9.5/10. For dessert, I got the Big Spoon Bar, which has fior di latte, salted caramel, TCHO chocolate, sea salt, and hazelnut in it. No notes here--easy 10/10. I literally could not complain. First bite was heaven! All in all, this was very good with only a few minor disappointments. Is this still my favorite pizza place? Yes. Will I return? Yes, I will--but I also think it depends on whether they adjust the price or return the pizza to its original size. That's literally just how we feel since we've been going there for years. I highly recommend you guys go check this place out. Tell them I sent you!

Yelp
We had a great evening dinner here. We started off with a garlic bread with the stracciatella cheese dip the flatbread on the same sourdough as the pizza and is very good. I'm not a fan of the cold cheese dip. We ordered half of a peaches & prosciutto and half a mortadella. The pizzas were so different and very delicious. The desserts we great. We had the pastacio tiramisu and the watermelon granita. Outstanding finish. Chef/owner Ryan dropped by our table to say hi and asked about our experience. Try it.

Yelp
I got a half white pie, half veggie pizza. It was good. 6 larger size slices. Definitely enough for 2 ppl. Pizzas range between $25 - $31. The crust is sourdough and on the thinner side. Adding fries and a salad would have been an additional $31. I did not. I recommend the pizza if you're in the area.

Yelp
Grabbing dinner here tonight with a friend from out of town and was thoroughly impressed. I had recently saw that they were in the process of undergoing new ownership and wasn't sure if it was in place yet. Pizza is their staple and they take pride in their sourdough pizzas. I opted to share a half Italian, half Pepperoni pizza and it did not disappoint. Serving size was great - 6 slices but easily can feed 2-3 people depending on how hungry. We also got a side of hot honey which was fantastic. One server was attentive and the overall ambiance was great for a pizza shop. Service was quick and we overall enjoyed things
google avatar

Melva W.

Yelp
This pizza was good and it was different to have pizza with sourdough. The place is clean and the staff is friendly. This size is enough for two people. The sausage was really good and it took the pizza to another level.
google avatar

Bradley A.

Yelp
Pepperoni and White pizzas were both great. Crust was indeed the best sourdough pizza dough crust I've ever had. Waiter was friendly and the service quick. Only four beers on tap. And my glass of wine was about a 2.5 oz pour--literally 1/2 of a normal pour for $12. Crazy. And, after spending $25+ per pizza, you'd think you could get a tablespoon of hot honey for less than $3. At least the red pepper flakes were free.

Yelp
Very cute and clean atmosphere with very helpful and kind staff. Great place for a cheap date night. The pizzas are huge and we even took home a couple slices. The crust is airy and crispy, and the ingredients are great quality.

Florence H.

Yelp
Disappointed about the new ownership. Seems like sizes shrank and while prices aren't up yet, if the greedy Big Spoon owners charge $6 for a single scoop of ice cream $40 pizzas are on the horizon. They also have zero training in Italian cuisine so I'm not hopeful. RIP Pizza Grace.

Rachael W.

Yelp
Pleasantly surprised by this cute restaurant. Both indoor & perfect outdoor seating. Some of the best pizza I have had. Excellent service! Highly recommend!!

Yelp
New owners and menu are wonderful. The renovation inside is great as well. 10/10 would recommend to a friend.

Yelp
Dropped by with some friends and we shared a couple of pizzas. The crust was the standout super light, a little blistered from the oven, and held up well under the toppings. I got the mushroom one, and it was earthy and delicious without being too heavy. Service was friendly and pretty fast considering it was a busy night. I liked that the staff seemed to actually enjoy working there adds a good energy to the place. Music was playing in the background but not too loud. Prices were fair for the quality. I'll definitely be back for another slice.

Yelp
IT's BACK and i'm back for the second time. After being closed for a season of reimagining, Pizza Grace is back--and better than ever. Tucked in the heart of Birmingham, this spot has returned with a vengeance, setting a new gold standard for artisan pizza in the city. They've completely revamped the experience, and it shows. Everything--from the menu to the service--feels thoughtful and dialed in. But the real star? The crust. Their 100% naturally leavened sourdough crust is nothing short of remarkable. It's light but chewy, blistered in all the right places, with a deep, fermented tang that makes every bite count. It's the kind of crust you don't leave behind. The White pizza is an instant classic--simple, elegant, and wildly flavorful. Creamy without being heavy, and somehow still bright. But the secret weapons? A drizzle of Eastaboga hot honey and their roasted garlic ranch. That combo? Ridiculous. Sweet heat, garlicky richness, a little zing, all playing beautifully off that sourdough base. It's the kind of bite that stops the conversation for a second. Service was fantastic--attentive, friendly, and genuinely passionate about what they're serving. You can tell they care. This isn't just pizza; it's a craft. Pizza Grace isn't just back--it's evolved. And it's easily one of the most compelling food experiences in Birmingham right now.

Yelp
The pizza here is truly something special! The crust is crispy on the outside, soft inside, and the toppings are always fresh. I especially loved the chesse- so simple, yet full of flavor. The staff were kind and welcoming, making the whole experience feel homely. I went with my wife last weekend, and we already plan to come back with friends.,

Yelp
AMAZING!! Great pizza, cute aesthetic and awesome apps! No complaints. 10/10 recommend the loaded wedge potatoes were tasty, light and fresh! Also, trust them when they say you can definitely split a pizza for 2!
google avatar

Yelp
There really is something special about this place. Every time we go, we are always impressed. This time we had one of the fall seasonal pizzas, and it had pesto and butternut squash on it. It was a fabulous celebration of fall! We truly are lucky to have this award-winning, nationally-recognized pizza spot in Bham!

Yelp
I was so excited to try this place because lots of people had been talking highly about their pizza. The restraint is small, but still has enough seating for a decent crowd. The first time I went, the service was great. The pizza was mediocre at best, the crust was burnt and overall not very appetizing. I decided to give them a second chance about 2 months later, and again the service was great. The food was still a major disappointment. The pizza was again nearly burnt to a crisp and I didn't eat more than 1 slice. We decided to finish our evening at a different restaurant.

Yelp
Finally tried this new trendy pizza place in Morris Mercantile. It's a cute little spot downstairs. It's not suitable for large groups but does have outdoor seating when the weather is cooperating. The menu is small but offers good pizza options for everyone. We went with cheesy garlic bread and the white pizza. It was tasty!! The crust is slightly dark because of the wood oven but it's good! Pizza was large enough for two with leftovers. Service was great and prompt. Overall it was good but it was pricey. Almost $70 for a pizza, app, one beer and one glass of wine. It's a fun night out spot but not sure if I'll frequent it honestly.

Yelp
As good as pizza in Italy! Our family got back from Italy a couple of weeks ago and we miss the food the most. I saw this place on Instagram and decided to surprise my husband & son tonight with pizza here and gelato next door. This crust is like the crust on pizza in Italy. The sauce tastes so fresh, just like in Italy. We had the loaded potatoes as a starter and they were potato fries/wedges fried in beef tallow, which I was very happy about. They were delicious and didn't leave us with that heavy, gross feeling that most fries do. Everyone that worked there was very friendly. It's small inside, but a cool vibe and you can see into the small, clean kitchen while they work on the food. For the few people that gave this place a bad rating, I feel sorry for them that they don't know what good, quality food is. I guess they think Papa John's is good pizza.

Yelp
I think where this place really shines is it's ambiance and *sauces*- weirdly enough! Pizza Grace is a hip pizzeria that I adored the vibes of, especially so late in the night. The place can feel a bit cramped when packed but that still somehow made it feel super lively and open? The seating arrangement is done in the perfect way to where, although it could be packed inside the small space, you'd never bump into anyone or feel like it's too loud. The pizza was decent- fresh tasting marinara and cheese on a gorgeously charred crust, but it did feel a bit lackluster in flavor. That's where the sauces come in hehe. There's a variety of dipping sauces you can purchase to get on the the side of your pizza and MAN do these pack a punch! Regardless of what pizza you get I highly suggest you get a few sauces to share to really amp up the taste. The coffee I got wasn't great. Super dull and the whole milk left a weird taste in my mouth. Sugar didn't change the flavor at all but I didn't want to add too much. But also not entirely sure why I got a coffee with my pizza at 9pm!

Yelp
One of my favorite pizza places! The crust was crispy, the toppings were generous, and the sauce was flavorful. The portion size was just right, and the service was quick and friendly. The place had a fun, casual vibe.

Yelp
Every time I come here for lunch the pizza is great. Everyone is friends and the ambiance is nice with the music playing. Service has always been on point as well. Definitely recommend this place. It is a little tricky to find.

Yelp
Wonderful pizza. Service was good and quick. Stopped in for dinner and was not disappointed with the spur of the moment choice. Char was really good and each ingredient was treated with respect, bonus for being locally sourced.

Yelp
Found in mercantile row, Pizza Grace is a fun, casual spot for dinner. If you like a nice soft bready pizza, this is the place for you. The garlic bread appetizer was delicious and there is a good selection of specialty pizzas. The white pizza was our favorite. Extra points for the tiny pepperoni! Whether you wanna get a pie to go, or tuck into a table, the workers here are so helpful. One of our new favorites for sure!

Jennie L.

Yelp
The service was great! It was our first time so they gave us a heads up that the pizza is known for being charred and we could order it more lightly cooked. Despite ordering our pizzas lightly cooked, they were still pretty charred. Regardless, it was high quality pizza with fresh/homemade ingredients. The one area I'd recommend for improvement is with the drinks. You get a little 6 oz glass of room temperature water. It would be nice if they left a pitcher of water to refill it because it wasn't realistic for our server to come back every so often to refill these tiny glasses. My mom asked for a larger glass with ice water which you'll see in the photo, next to the smaller glass they bring water in. One of us ordered unsweetened tea which was good, but it was only maybe 6 ounces as well (not counting ice) and REFILLS ARE NOT FREE. I think it would go a long way for that policy to change. I get they need to be profitable but charging 3 ish dollars for 6 oz of tea with no refills feels like they're nickel and diming their customers. Not great for business. Overall we enjoyed it but wouldn't go out of our way to come back.

Yelp
We brought the kids here for a Friday night dinner, and they loved it! The cheese pizza was a hit, and the staff was super friendly with our little ones. Family-friendly and fun!,

Yelp
Best pizza in Birmingham!!! If you're willing to splurge, Pizza Grace would be at the top of my recommended list. Yes, I did spend $40 (after tax and tip) on one pizza, and yes, I would do it again. There is so much flavor in each bite and everything tastes so fresh! They locally source a lot of their ingredients and produce which makes me love them all the more. The inside isn't anything special but it is located off Morris Ave, which is a cute gem in downtown Birmingham. Looking forward to coming back and trying other pizzas!
google avatar

Porchia R.

Yelp
First things first the pizza toppings and salads are fresh and from the local farmers market. The pizza crust is like no other it's very unique and good. I could come here just for the salads and be satisfied. The salads combinations will have you trying to make them at home. The owner is very personable and so sweet she is always there to help.
google avatar

Yelp
Best pizza in Birmingham and very excited they have rolled out new lunch menus. You can also order ahead for to go with the toast app.
google avatar

Reema G.

Yelp
Pizza grace is by far one of the best pizzas I've had in Birmingham! The first time we came here, I thought the pizza was a bit too charred for my liking and made it taste slightly burnt but I've discovered you can ask for "light bake" which makes them come out perfect! I feel like they have different specialty pizzas every time I come here because I've definitely tried out so many different toppings and flavors! Service is very quick and the restaurant itself is very casual (I've walked in with scrubs before). It's located right next to a gelato place so you can top off your lunch/dinner with some delicious dessert! Will definitely be back!!

Yelp
Where to begin, we came when they opened just after 5 as we didn't want to have to wait for a table. We had our choice of several seating options and chose to sit at the bar overlooking the kitchen. We fetched our own water (a little odd but fine by me) and watched the staff carefully prepping and cooking menu items. Our server was friendly and attentive without being bothersome. The kitchen area and overall space is small so I think that is part of the equation in understanding how they run things. There isn't space for reservations or a full bar for mixed drinks and a great wine selection, something I would enjoy, but I understand it may just not be part of the vision. We chose the winter salad and the sweet and Smokey pie (obviously a seasonal or rotational pie) along with the roasted garlic ranch. Everything in my opinion was 15/10. I wouldn't change a THING. The salad was truly the best I've ever had. I could've eaten 3 of them. Each element was so thoughtfully prepared and at peak freshness. The satsumas sing in your mouth. I'm going to be thinking about that salad for a very long time. The beautiful presentation meant we dressed tossed and crunched up the Parmesan sourdough cracker into the salad. Every bite was just... Chef's kiss. Shortly after we finished the salad our pizza came out. The toppings are all very carefully sourced and selected and I thoroughly enjoyed them. Since the menu is seasonal and may change, I'll share the toppings: Marinara, provolone, Benton's bacon lardon, Spotted Trotter Southern Smash salami (contains peanuts), pineapple, toasted sesame seeds, pickled hot peppers, chives, fig habanero glaze I'm actually just speechless. I wouldn't have changed a thing. Such a clever and well assembled pie. I love bread (does anyone not? Serious question) and their crust is the very very best of its kind that I've had in Birmingham, and it's not close. It obviously differs, but the quality is on par with Christian Petroni's Fortina which I was lucky enough to eat regularly in NY and CT when I lived there. It's the lovely kind of crust that leaves you feeling light even after you have stuffed yourself. The dipping sauces!!! The star of the show maybe? I love that they feature several delicious homemade sauces for those that really want to enjoy that luscious fluffy crust. We chose the roasted garlic ranch and W O W! Tangy (cream cheese part of the base I would bet) with roasted garlic and punchy fresh dill. This stuff is magic. Don't expect hidden valley, this will make you look at ranch differently, even if you already were a ranch snob. A friend of mine who told me to come here, told me she still dreams about the ranch, and I can see why. I felt the price was truly appropriate for the quality of the food you are putting into your body. This was not a particularly expensive dinner for 2 for us and they do not skimp at all on the toppings. Every bite of my meal was a flavor explosion. I'll not hesitate in saying this place truly shines, and we will return again and again. I already have proposed to my husband a standing Friday dinner tradition here.

Yelp
I'll be honest with you... I'm not sure I really get the "hype" of this place. We were downtown for a concert and a lot of our normal "go-to" places had an hour plus wait. So we pulled up Yelp and found this place. 1) teeny tiny! Also, a couple of community tables, which I'm not a fan of. Thankfully we got a two top table. 2) I have to serve myself water? At the front door? Where everyone is standing around waiting? 3) the food: expensive. Def seemed overpriced for what you were getting. Honestly, the pizza was super bland to me. And so was the dipping sauce we got to go along with the pizza. 4) service wasn't even that great. It took a while to get anyone's attention that we wanted the check to leave. Will I come back? Probably not.
google avatar

Michiko M.

Yelp
This place was also so busy so decided to try it. The salad was great as an appetizer and the serve came back to make sure we knew that the pizza had no cheese on it. Loved that she did that. Pizza was good! Would come back to try another kind of pizza

Yelp
While I moved to Birmingham almost 4 years ago, I only recently discovered the amazing Pizza Grace restaurant downtown. Their sourdough pizza is truly one of the best I've had in the Birmingham area, and I love that you can see them making the pizza from your seat. Their cozy atmosphere downtown location is always fun to visit. I typically get the pepperoni or white pizzas, and they are so flavorful. It's never too loud or crowded, and the restaurant is always clean. The staff are so friendly and willing to answer any questions you may have. I would highly recommend Pizza Grace! They have something for everyone.

Yelp
Went to this place today for lunch. Nice location on Morris Avenue. There was outside seating that was set up nicely. The inside had dim lighting but was very clean inside. The lunch menu was simple. The only issue I had was I could not add/modify to the lunch menu. I ordered pepperoni pizza. Oven tossed, fresh baked. The pizza dough was nicely thin with the right amount of chewiness. There was the right amount of outer crust to center ratio. The marinara was nice and thick but not dry, the flavor was right on the spot for savoriness and sweetness, the smell had notes of garlic and oregano which were very pleasant. Right amount of melted mozzarella cheese, with a very decent cheese pull. peperoni was mild, and nicely crispy. Among locally owned hand tossed pizza in town, I will say that this one is in my top three. I have definitely been Graced with Pizza Grace!

Yelp
The pizza here is fantastic! Limited flavors, which I suppose it what makes it classier, but I would have loved some more creative flavors. The pizzas are probably just big enough to share with another person, especially if you get a salad or something else. However, at 4:30 on a Saturday they had already sold out of all appetizers and salads. So that was a bit disappointing. Though it was certainly worse for anyone who came after 5pm when they were sold out of everything. I understand that they were just nominated for a James beard award so maybe weren't expecting quite so many people, but it seems like extraordinarily poor planning to run out of everything before the weekend dinner rush. The atmosphere is fine, one of those industrial spaces that looks really cool, but is actually hard to hear anything. It was so loud that we couldn't hear some friends just two seats down. Not any favorite vibe, but I know others love it! Pizza delicious though expensive.

Yelp
This is one of the best pizza places I've been too. The employees are passionate about what they do. 10/10 recommend. We got the butternut squash pesto and the pepperoni classic.

Yelp
Cool place on the cobblestone street downtown. We ordered the fried grits appetizer. Really interesting and I've never had purple grits but it was good dipped in the marinara. Pizza was very good. High prices but a neat vibe and quality ingredients.

Yelp
This was my first visit. Great environment and nice people. Enjoyed the White pizza with sausage added.

Yelp
Stop 2 on the Bham Now - Birmingham's modern media pizza list tour! Pizza Grace. Also we decided that Saturday lunch was going to work better than Thursday nights after work. You know "cuz we old". Oh my gosh if they only get better from here we won't eat anything else but pizza for days in a row. Pizza Grace no fancy dinners or apps or sandwiches. Just pizza, garlic bread, salads and drinks. Oh and 1 desert. Let me say the pizza is amazing! The post had pepperoni so that was supposed to be the choice but this "White" pizza sounded awesome so we asked if they would do half and half? Which looked a little off menu because it seemed to be a conversation. Between the our host and the Chef, and I do mean Chef. I wanted to video him so bad, the care and concern when he put the pies together before sliding into the oven. Chef Kiss . Back to our pie. Maybe the idea of white sauce on one side and red sauce on the other??? But him pulled it off like a champ. No mixing of flavors at all. The garlic bread was in a class all its own. Maybe soda water in the dough or non bleached flour? I don't know but we loved it. Fresh garlic roasted and rubbed on top with fresh and I mean fresh tomato sauce and maybe sea salt on top. We will definitely be going back. I would give 5 stars but I hold those until we have been someplace 3 times or more!' That want take long to get to!

Yelp
OK, this is our new favorite pizza spot in Birmingham! I took my sons there for dinner on a Friday night, and it was so amazing they insisted that we come back on Saturday night and bring my daughters with us. Located in the new Mercantile on Morris, the venue is gorgeous, with plenty of street parking. On Friday night, the restaurant was super busy, so we snagged a table in the covered courtyard just outside. They still brought our food to us! We tried the salad, ordered extra garlic bread, the Margherita pizza, and the pepperoni pizza. Everything was absolutely amazing! The pizzas and salads come out super fast, and everyone waiting on us was so nice! The pizzas aren't super huge, but it's still plenty to split between two people. With a salad, garlic bread, and one pizza, I was able to feed myself and my two teenage sons. So, when we brought two more teenagers with us, we only ordered a little extra garlic bread and one more pizza. Tons of food! Order a couple of extra sides of the garlic ranch dressing, it's a must for dipping your extra crust in!

Yelp
I struggle with only giving it two stars but it is what it is at this point. I've tried it twice now and have sampled nearly everything on the menu. The pizza is fine but it's not revolutionary. The pepperoni is honestly the best one if the bunch. The other pizzas are either too adventurous or simply bad. The muffuletta I tried came on what I'd liken to concrete rather than bread. Sure there were some okay flavors but sheesh, get some softer bread. Where things really go sideways, the tables. What's with these giant tables that cause you to sit with strangers or a mile away from the rest of your party? It's terribly ill-conceived and really detracts from the already just "okay" dining experience. Lastly, the owner has waited on me for both of my dining experiences. She comes off kind of rude and when asking just the simplest of questions. I didn't come to be snapped at. I came to exchange money for food and beverage served with some sort of humility and gratitude that I chose your place. I honestly don't think this place will last long as is. Sadly it already needs an overhaul.

Yelp
We ordered Pizza Grace last night and our pizza was as good as the first time. We tried a couple new items and it elevated this to my favorite restaurant for delivery pizza. The Spring Salad and Garlic Bread exceeded my expectations. It was obvious that the greens and salad ingredients were sourced locally. The delicate produce would never have been that fresh and unbruised if it had to travel anywhere except from the farmer to the restaurant to me in the sturdy paper box that contained my salad. I'd order it every day if I could. The delicious whole grain bread used for the garlic bread must have been the same bread for my thin and crispy salad croutons. The garlic bread was a thick slice of whole grain bread that was airy and light in texture on the inside with a sturdy crust. Delicious!

Yelp
We stayed in a condo alone this restaurant and this place smelled so good each time we walked by we had to try it. Little pricy but definitely freshly made from scratch. Pizza was great. Garlic bread was not for me. Good flavor but bread was soft and couldn't hold up to garlic oil/butter brushed on top. Marinara sauce was good. I'm a bit of a ranch connoisseur, so I had to try theirs- so good!!! Definitely would stop by there again when visiting Birmingham.

Yelp
Pizza Grace never fails in providing delicious pizza! I especially love their margherita pizza, which is big enough to share with another. The waiters are always helpful and accommodating as well. Make sure you arrive early so that you get a table since the restaurant is a bit small! I do think the garlic bread is a little oily, but everything else I have had has been great.

Yelp
Great ambiance and delicious food, plus a nice tidy beer tap and excellent service. We had the winter salad and cheese pizza. The crunchy breadcrumbs on top are a nice touch and the dough is very special.

Yelp
Super excited to see Morris Ave taking off with Pizza Grace. Love the atmosphere! Pizza was ok, not worth the cost. Planning to give it another try, in hopes they were just having a bad night. Kudos to the owners taking the risk to make Birmingham downtown the destination we long for it to be!
