This little gem, tucked away, off 23rd Street, is a gem. Amazing food with top quality ingredients. Service staff obviously love their jobs because so many of them have been there for quite some time and are always friendly, knowledgeable and ready to answer all your questions. They make a really good Old Fashioned, for those of you who like to imbibe. Gorgeous little patio out back for when the weather is good. Will return!

This is just good pizza—plain and simple. The sauce is flavorful, the crust has a perfect char, the cheese is rich and melty, and the toppings are spot on. Nothing tasted frozen; everything was fresh and full of flavor. Every bite was a reminder of how great a well-made pie can be.

Drove from Edmond to dine outside on their patio. We always love sitting outside there with a bottle of wine and a pizza. On arrival we were told their area out back was closed for a heat advisory. We asked the manager if we ordered everything up front could we sit on the patio. We assured her we wouldn’t need any service. She said no because there was a heat advisory. It was 8:45pm and 88 with a breeze. We live in Oklahoma. Lol! Anyway we went to Halls Pizza Kitchen and were seated outside on their rooftop after a 20 minute wait. They had a rooftop band and it was packed. I felt like I should’ve warned everyone about the heat advisory 😂 I’m giving a 1 star for the very poor customer service and lack of caring if we took our business elsewhere. It would have bothered nobody to allow us to sit on their patio.

Google
Always love supporting local and Pizzeria Gusto delivers delicious food and great service in a casual atmosphere. My partner and I shared a small spinach salad that was plenty for two. We also shared the Aranciatta and Margherita pizza. Both delicious and took half home.

The stream line decor was inviting and relaxing. Service is prompt, attentive and friendly. The pizza sauce is a little on the sweet side however you can add pepper flakes and pepper oil to add spice. The two things that stood out the most was how fast the pizza is delivered to your table once the order is place. Two minutes through the oven and the pizza is cooked. That’s amazing! The crust in my opinion was superb, small blacken area’s yet soft and balanced to the toppings. I see this as my new favorite restaurant.

Google
Just discovered Pizzeria Gusto in OKC and I can't believe I've been missing out! Their appetizers (the rice balls are a must-try!), pizzas, and sandwiches are all fantastic. The pizzas are generously sized – perfect for sharing. Plus, they even give you a free dessert for your birthday! Seriously, if you haven't been, go check out Pizzeria Gusto ASAP!

Google
Great vibe of a restaurant, they were able to accommodate 13 people and service was good. The pizza is for sure the way to go! Very yummy, fresh and great crust. Do not waste your time on the sweet potato gnocchi, lacked flavor and Gnocchi! It was very disappointing! Also the Ceaser with Salmon was just mediocre. They do a free a good happy hour selection of drinks and food. We will go back but will stick to pizza only!

Jessie Sikich

Google
I was disappointed. I know some people enjoy a burnt crust, but I'm not one of them. Felt my pizza was too well done. The fried calamari was chewy, but the fried artichoke hearts were delicious. The online menu is not up-to-date with incorrect pricing, so my bill was $5 more than expected. Be careful with the happy hour drinks: the cocktails on the sheet they provide are NOT the happy hour cocktails. Be sure to ask your server to specify for you! As for the service, it was lovely! My waitress was lovely and kind and the absolute best part of my meal. A male waiter did take my bill with my payment and quite loud and invasive when I asked about the price discrepancies. I also noticed he left the patrons at the table to my left sitting for approx 10 minutes before acknowledging them. Second highly rated pizza place that just fell short.

Yelp
Amazing!! We hosted a baby shower here and the food, drinks and service was next level. We could not have been more pleased with the experience! Highly recommend!!!!

Yelp
5-Star Experience -- Excellent Pizza and Great Service I stopped by this pizza spot today with my significant other, and we had a great experience overall. She ordered the Margherita pizza with a Caesar salad and an appetizer, while I went for the sausage pizza, a Caesar salad as well, and the calamari. First off, the service was attentive and friendly from the moment we walked in. The pizzas were excellent--fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with hand-tossed dough. You can really taste the difference. The calamari stood out for me. It was tender and easy to bite through, which tells me it was fresh and properly cooked--unlike some places where it turns rubbery or tough. Now, we did hit a small bump with the Caesar salads. The lettuce looked a bit old and didn't taste fresh. I mentioned it to our server when they checked in, and they handled it perfectly--offering to replace both salads with house salads instead. Those were much better: crisp, fresh, and full of flavor. Honestly, I think it's a great sign when a place handles issues well. Perfection isn't always expected, but how you respond to feedback says a lot--and they nailed it. Because of that, this is a solid 5-star experience for me. We'll definitely be coming back.

Yelp
This restaurant is so nice! We were seated promptly, the staff are very friendly. We arrived during happy hour and ordered the hot wings and fried mozzarella, both so good. Also ordered Gusto Pepperoni pizza and it was so flavorful and with the hot honey they give you, tasted amazing! For dessert we ordered the warm chocolate brownie, which you can't go wrong with. I can't wait to come back!

Yelp
When I was asking around for places to go to in OKC this was recommended multiple times so of course I had to stop by! It didn't disappoint! We sat outside and enjoyed a peaceful night that made us feel like we were in a different part of the world! We attended during happy hour and multiple fries appetizers were discounted! Since I love a good happy hour we ordered chicken wings and tater tot's. Both of these were delicious and perfectly cooked. We then each got a salad, which wasn't my favorite as the lettuce seemed wilted. I'm sure I'll be back but will not get salad. The pizza was amazing, perfectly sauced and seasoned while the crust was crispy! The most outstanding thing was the brussel sprouts, they were seasoned well and crispy. I actually utilized it and topped it on my pizza, which was incredible!

Yelp
I see all these great reviews on calamari being amazing but mine was awful! Immediately knew i was going to have to run to the bathroom after eating it. The sausage shrimp skillet was good but the calamari hated me a lot more than I didn't like it. Never again! Pizza will have to do for now.

Yelp
Delicious pizza, I ordered the queen margherita pizza, and it's one of the best pizzas I've had in the metro. I got the lunch portion personal pizza and small Caesar salad. The romaine was reddish on several of the leaves so, the manager came out and replaced with a house salad. I would say service was exceptional during our lunch visit. We also tried the happy hour portioned arancini and calamari apps, and they were both phenomenal. I can't wait to come back with the kiddos!

Yelp
Wonderful evening, but the pizza was the biggest disappointment of the night. Toppings were spot on but atop a soggy crust just turned into a flop. Honestly, big let down but keep reading because they have so much more to offer. Ordered a little bit of everything for appetizers. Arancini, Brussels sprouts, hot wings, artichoke hearts... Was planning on snagging some pictures but we devoured it. Apps are so well done on such a high level. Wings are thick, perfect amount of heat, great breading. Best wings I've had in OKC for sure. The arancini are a mozzarella ball rolled in risotto and fried...so good. I'd go on, but we cleared the dishes before I could snap a pic so it was that good. Would recommend just stopping in for drinks and apps any chance you are in the area. Side salads were fine, but got the roasted carrots, fennel and Italian sausage with the salad course to try a menu outlier. It should be an appetizer, as it's small but great to share with the table. 7 out of 10. If it was finished with a touch more acid (maybe reduced balsamic or a thick fig glaze) it would really shine. Now to the pizzas, got the mushroom and roasted garlic and also the pepperoni. Flavor was great but again, so soggy the crust just flops over and all the toppings fall off. Big disappointment. I'd stay away from the pizza and try a pasta dish or something else if I go again. If I was only doing pizza this would be a 2 out of 5 but they have so much more going on. Service was great, attentive and friendly. Literally everything was great but yeah... then there was the pizza. Still a great night.

Yelp
Loved the building! The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was delish. Loved the house made ranch! I think the pasta is over priced to just be spaghetti noodles but it was tasty! We'd definitely go back

Yelp
I love this place! Delicious pizza and a good location. Has a fun bar and cocktails. A favorite place for girls night or after work hang out. The donut bites are a must
google avatar

Teaira J.

Yelp
I really love this pizzeria because of the brick oven, how thin and crispy the crust is, you get plenty of toppings on your pizza unlike some other pizza places and they have a good selection of other options for those who may not want pizza. The service isn't great though. Our server only checked up on us once that I can remember and there were limited seating options available to us but yet so many open seats. Despite the little service issues, this pizzeria had some bomb food!!

Yelp
One of my favorite places on 23rd street. If I don't know what to eat, they are my back plan because they always hit. My order is the gusto pepperoni and get it WELL. A small caesar salad and the gusto wings! They have the best chicken wings in the city and I'll die on that.
google avatar

Yelp
Sat outside and the atmosphere was Phenomenal! Feels like you've transported to Europe. So relaxing and beautiful for our girls night out. Waiter was great and the food was delicious. I would definitely recommend for the ambiace alone! Reserve a spot outside! There was even a heater at the table!

Yelp
Came for a Sunday date night and it was pretty slow. That was convenient since you have to do street parking. We ordered the house salad to share. It was very tasty and a good portion since it was split in two. The crostini lived up to its name it was kind of hard. Both cocktails had a good flavor but were very strong. We didn't order another round. Had the wings to share. They have a spicy and subtle sweet taste. We didn't notice that the dressing was blue cheese until it arrived. So we just had them without dressing. The wings are so tasty we didn't even need it. The pizza had a thin crunchy charred crust. Upon taking our first bite you get a great taste of cheese. We really enjoyed it.

Yelp
I got take out so can't really say anything about the service or atmosphere. However I can speak to the food. I got a few things: the pancetta pizza, salad, and gnocchi. The pizza was pretty good. The crust was great, chewy and crisp!! I like the greens to be put on after it comes out of the oven, so to have more contrast and not be wilted. Just as a heads up if you like the same. The salad was fine. The dressing needed a little more flavor. The gnocchi, however, is when things went very south. Which was sad because that is what I most looked forward to. It had absolutely no flavor, and the texture was far from okay. It also needed more of a sauce because it was so dry. I tried doctoring it up a bit, but ultimately, I just had to throw it away. If I come back, it will be for the pizza for sure.

Yelp
Lunch last Thursday at Pizzeria Gusto. First time in a couple of years since I last dined at PG's. This is a lovely restaurant with a cool vibe. PG's Is a Neopoliton pizza restaurant, and they produce great pizzas. The weather was great, so I asked for outdoor seating. The outdoor dining area is quite nice. It is secluded with a tall privacy wall, is shaded by a lovely tree, and has a fireplace. It's quaint and very pleasant. I ordered the Italian sausage personal pizza with house salad. I thoroughly enjoyed the pizza. The salad was quite nice. I asked for Ranch dressing, which they don't have. The server suggested a dressing that was creamy, with subtle flavors. It was OK, just OK. The service was excellent. Having the lunch menu helped keep the cost very reasonable.

Yelp
Walked in around 6 with a reservation and there's wasn't a lot of tables available. They have very limited seating. The pizza is good and thin! Always tastes good! Service was fast and was only there about 45 minutes for 2 people. We ordered 2 pizzas and they were out of the oven in less than 5 minutes!

Yelp
Unique pizza place. Its alot bigger than it looks on the outside. This is next to The Pump in Uptown area off 23rd Look at the beautiful Chandlers! Full bar and plenty of seating. Waiter was super nice. We ordered the Brussels and they were so good, with alittle kick. Not very big so you may want one for yourself! We also wanted to try the fried Artichokes. Pizza was the Margherita one. Not sure why the name, no Tequila effect. Simple pizza but if you add red pepper flakes and oil waiter brought to table, pretty good. Very fresh tasting. Lots of other choices would love to try next time. We were lucky due to daytime, parked right in front of door. Can see parking to be an issue when busy.
google avatar

Yelp
Came in for lunch with a friend! The lunch special is good. I went for the pasta and salad special and I was pretty underwhelmed as the pasta sauce lacked flavor- it was a creamy white sauce with chicken and broccolini. Our server was kind and the restaurant is cozy!

Lemon T.

Yelp
Though not too busy, service was kind of slow. But food is always spot on. Dining room is spacious & I love the chandeliers.

Yelp
Pizzeria Gusto: A great spot for a family meal, date night, or dining alone. Father's Day Brunch at Pizzeria Gusto was a delight, shared with my papa, Mimi, and mom. I wish my dad was still alive so he could have enjoyed it too! The breakfast pizza, a personal favorite, was a flavor-packed revelation. However, it's incomplete without a side of hot Sriracha honey, which adds the perfect kick to each bite!!!! Mom's veggie sandwich was a surprise star, making me reconsider my usual preference for meat. With pita bread that is actually their pizza dough, it was a textural and flavorful masterpiece in my mouth and not messy at all. I gave her some pizza. She gave me half her sandwich and it was just the best of both worlds as Hannah Montana might say! Pizzeria Gusto's lunch special is also a fantastic deal during the week AND let's not forget Carmon, our server, who was literally the best--attentive, friendly, and making our experience even more memorable, and as my Mimi said, "she's getting a big tip" For a place that delivers on flavor, value, and exceptional service, Pizzeria Gusto is a must-visit if you are new to town or a local!

Yelp
Great pub atmosphere with a happy friendly serving staff. My main purpose going to Pizzeria Gusto is their Stefano Ferarra handbuilt pizza oven from Naples, Italy. We ordered the Gusto pepperoni pizza - thin crust, plain tomato sauce, oregano, pepperoni, roasted, garlic, fresh mozzarella balls and a tasty honey Sriracha sauce on the outer crust - delicious. They also serve sandwiches, salads, wings just to mention a few items on their great menu and a wonderful full bar.

Yelp
Service is always fast and efficient. It's got a good italian bistro vibe. We ordered off the brunch menu. Cranberry mimosas and arancini to start. The Arincini was delicious. I ordered the brunch pizza my girl friends ordered the fried chicken biscuit and pesto scramble. All the food was very good. I think this may be my fav brunch spot.
google avatar

Rachel F.

Yelp
Immediately, I enjoyed the inviting and warm atmosphere. The server was very friendly and helpful - available without checking in too often. They offer wonderful happy hour small plates. We started with arancini, calamari, and hot wings. All were phenomenal but the arancini was a standout for a beautiful texture and incredible marinara sauce. The calamari and hot wings sauces were also delicious - tomato aioli and homemade Gorgonzola dressing. They did not charge extra for additional sauce. We split the roasted chicken pizza and margherita pizza. Both were excellent - I enjoyed the perfectly cooked crust. The roasted chicken was really exciting to eat with the blend of Mediterranean flavors. It paired nicely with the classic taste of the margherita. For dessert we ordered affogato with ricotta donuts. Perfect portion for sharing a light dessert. Highly recommend this delicious, women-owned restaurant!! Will definitely be back.

Yelp
Everything we had here was so yummy! You definitely have to give Pizzeria Gusto a try! We tried their mozzarella sticks, arancini, and a few of their pizzas. Everything was so good! Fresh, crispy, and the pizza crust nice and chewy! I got the pancetta pizza and it was so good! With arugula, fig jam, goat cheese, and pancetta cooked in their wood fired oven, it was perfect! Oh and from 4-6 even on the weekends they have happy hour drinks and appetizers. You just can't beat this place! Our server Naomi was so nice and came the appropriate amount of times to our table to check up on us. Loved our food and loved the atmosphere of this place! I'll definitely be back.

Yelp
Hello my Oklahoma Elites! If you don't know about Pizzeria Gusto, you're truly missing out! My wife and her sister were born in Naples, Italy, so they know what great Neapolitan pizzas taste like. I've eaten my fair share of wood-fired pizzas, and if you're not cooking it in a Pompei Oven, you're not cooking it right (imho). So why go on about the Wood Burner that Pizzeria Gusto has? Well, I bet you don't know they actually bought it from Naples, Italy, and had it shipped! When you run a wood burn burning oven, you want only a select hardwood, and Pizzeria Gusto is rocking White Oak! It burns hotter, and longer, and adds that je ne sais quo to every pizza. Heck, it's the sacred alchemy that unmistakably makes their crust just magical! This afternoon, the chef in the kitchen was one of the owners! What a lovely treat! So go check out their food! Go enjoy their well-crafted top-shelf drinks, and don't forget to make a reservation as you'll wait a long while on any Saturday night, so yes, that reservation his necessary and well worth it! Every time we come into town, we're eating at Pizzeria Gusto!

Yelp
Great food and great service! Great apps & pizzas, seasonal cocktails are not to be missed. Perfect for date night. And girls night out. And lunch. And just whenever you're hungry.

Yelp
My wife and I visited Pizzeria Gusto on a recent trip to Oklahoma City. We started our meal with two appetizers: Arancini and Caprese Salad. The Arancini was filled with al dente savory risotto, gooey provolone cheese and covered in a crisp breading. The Caprese Salad consisted of juicy tomato, moist mozzarella, crisp arugula and fresh basil. For our main dish we shared a Pancetta Pizza. A soft thin lightly charred crust was topped with gooey mozzarella and provolone cheeses, sweet fig jam, salty pancetta, and creamy goat cheese. Overall, it was an enjoyable dinner.

Yelp
We found ourselves in OKC this weekend. We came in around 4pm just in time for happy hour (4-6pm). We shared the calamari appetizer and a drink and got two pizzas. The calamari was a happy hour portion and was very lightly fried and didn't taste very greasy. They did deep fry a lemon with it which was an odd addition. The pizza was hot and fresh! I had the pepperoni gusto and my boyfriend had the margherita. I was a fan of the honey sriracha on the pizza which wasn't too overpowering and had a nice contrast. The service was very friendly and quick. The prices were reasonable and we would definitely visit again if we're in the area again!
google avatar

Fanny C.

Yelp
Good food, decent drinks, but be careful about the happy hour pricing . I ordered a drink and asked the bartender about getting it from the HH which they said was fine. When the bill came there's still an up charge because they had to put in some bitters. Then why didn't they tell me about the surplus when I asked about it ? Anyway didn't give me a good vibe

Yelp
Last night we attended a comedy show at Tower and decided to eat afterwards. Other comedy show patrons were walking out with us and mentioned Pizzeria Gusto. We told them we loved the place and realized it was right across the street! Unbeknownst to us they were close to closing but we were sat and attentively taken care of by a beautiful and kind server. Pizza came out straight away and was delicious! She even offered us last call even though they were closed for the evening. Top notch service and delicious meatball pizza. Thank you for taking such amazing care of your patrons. 10/10 recommend

SheVonna B.

Yelp
Pizza was good and the decor was pretty nice. I wish there were more options to pair with your pizza. My kiddo loves pizza as well as I but he found the pizza just okay.
google avatar

Natalie L.

Yelp
Wait staff was attentive and it was easy to hear and speak to our group of six. The pizza really was the winner and the coffee was tasty. If you are particular about the yolk in poached eggs I would skip the brunch Benedict. The chicken and waffles looked amazing, but I didn't get to try them because they were gobbled up quickly.

Whitney P.

Yelp
I can't help giving you all 5 stars every time! We had a group of volunteers come straight from the memorial marathon this morning and you guys took very good care of us! Our waitress was wonderful and the food was amazing. Great work taking care of our large party this morning.
google avatar

Yelp
First time visiting. Service was very thorough but a little slow. I think they were just a little stretched but they were very nice, helpful, through and accurate. We had wings and hummus as our two appetizers. The wings were good - kinda middle of the road. The hummus was delicious but presentation is very bland - beige on beige. It needs some color. We order the Margarita The Queen and The Pepperoni with Siracha Honey Glaze. The Margarita was a limp soggy thing with little in the way of toppings and a watery sauce. Not a repeat for me. The pepperoni was very tasty especially with the honey siracha drizzle/glaze. Also limp and soggy but both had a really good "wood fired" outer crust. Overall good experience, nice atmosphere and I'd eat there again but probably not any time soon.

Margaret R.

Yelp
Great food, friendly and timely service and a great atmosphere. Pretty much sums it up--great dining experience!
google avatar

Ashlea B.

Yelp
So Good and often forgotten! Their pepperoni with the roasted garlic on it may just be the best pepperoni pizza in the metro! Maybe the state! The restaurant is nice inside and very spacious and their patio is wonderful! I know I will be making a point to visit more often and so should you!

Diane L.

Yelp
We were their first customers out on their beautiful patio this season. Weather was warm so we had to try the enclosed patio. Beautiful horizontal fencing with old doors and a large fireplace. Wonderful waiter (James) was very attentive and friendly. Great suggestion of trying the chile oil on our pizza. It was delicious on the pizza if you like a bit of spice. Lunch special with pizza and salad combo was delicious, too. Great experience. Thank you so much.

Yelp
I have been wanting to come here for a while! I had the opportunity to meet with some friends last night at this wonderful place. The food, amazing, the drinks- incredible. The staff wonderful! We ordered brussle sprouts, arincini, the salami board to share. These were all incredible. I ordered a couple pizzas to go I got the mushroom roasted garlic pizza and the Margherita the queen pizza and they were both incredible! The dough was light and fluffy and the toppings didn't overpower the pizza. I can't believe it took me so long to try this place! I can't wait to come back and dine on that gorgeous patio! And try even more of their incredible food!
google avatar

Leena J.

Yelp
Lovely service. Very attentive. Food was dynamite and presented so well. Beautiful beet and arugula salad and the Brussel sprouts were crispy and delicious! The wings were what we came for and they were pretty good. Very meaty and incredibly saucy and messy and fantastic. Glad we sat outside so we could really get down with those wings. You need a wing stance almost, elbows out, feet firmly planted, shoulder relaxed- TAKE A BITE, DYNAMITE! Yasss.

Yelp
I met friends here to celebrate a birthday. We had an 8pm reservation and we're seated as soon as we walked in. Once the other part of our party came, we ordered appetizers and drinks. I got the short rib gnocchi and specialty drink with melon. The gnocchi was not good. The drink was good but sweet. I had a lampchop and fried risotto from friends and both were excellent as well. The meat itself was tough and it was randomly overly sweet but the ingredients were all savory. Still can't figure out where the sweetness is coming from. I split the Italian sausage pizza with a friend and tried someone else's pepperoni pizza. Both were awesome. Not too greasy, not piled with toppings that fall off and tasted fresh. The pesto on the Italian sausage pizza was a nice surprise. My friends and I enjoyed ourselves and I'll be back.

H M.

Yelp
Excellent pizza, great service, nice place for pizza and beer. Apps are good too! This was our third or fourth time there over the past couple of years and it has not disappointed.

Yelp
This place is Italy in Oklahoma! An oven with a back story, imported ingredients, chandeliers, and yummy smells make this a place you'll want to linger. The parking is stupid, but this restaurant more than makes up for it! Free Tip: save room from the brownie and ask for a cup of caramel!
google avatar

Sonali D.

Yelp
Wonderful service. Large selection of pizzas. Love the thin crust! We ordered the Pepperoni pizza and the Special of the Day pizza. Both had wonderful flavor. My favorite was the red sauce on the pepperoni pizza. There was a hint of sweetness to this sauce that kept me coming back for more. I also really loved the thin crust. This is more of a traditional wood-fired pizza. Two pizzas were definitely more than enough for two. We even had leftovers to take home. We also got a cappuccino (not pictured) to end the meal, and thoroughly enjoyed that as well. Will definitely be back to try something new!

Yelp
What a hidden gem for some delicious Pizza! We stopped in one Sunday afternoon after seeing that our other usual pizza locations were packed or closed, but we will no longer have to worry about that because this is our new go to! We started with some wings, and they are not your traditional buffalo spice that you would expect. However, they are well seasoned and super tender! We then shared a Margherita pizza with added pancetta! It was phenomenal! They make their mozzarella in house, and let me tell ya, I have never tasted a fresher or more flavorful mozzarella than this! The sauce was perfect! The cook of the crust was excellent! I cannot say enough good things! We can't wait to go back and try out the patio when it cools down a bit!

Yelp
Food was outstanding and it came out quickly! The building is cute and quirky and it's a fun environment.

Yelp

Yelp
What a great spot for some tasty za and other food! Great ambiance and art in the restaurant and can tell they take their pizza really serious! We enjoyed the mozzarella sticks and some salad as well as the pepperoni gusto and Italian sausage. The crust was perfect and we loved the combination of sauce and meat on both pizzas and enjoyed leftovers later.

Stephanie E.

Yelp
Came to Pizzeria Gusto at lunch for their Thursday burger special. It was delicious! Pro tip: get the Gorgonzola dip or the wing sauce for dipping the tots in! I'd been craving a burger for a while, and it absolutely hit the spot! The staff were friendly, and the setting is awesome! The pasta special sounded amazing - gonna have to come back and try it!

Yelp
Pizza was fantastic although a little too burnt for my taste but I can see the appeal. Hostess offered me a table but said we would have to be finished eating within 30 min or they would have to ask me to get up because they would need it later for a reservation. We ended up seething at the chefs bar and received ok service but could notice our waitress was more concerned about her actual tables than us. Will try again with a reservation. The Calamari is a must try!
