Yelp
I like finding these small, family-owned restaurants with good food that the locals all know about. This is one of them. We found this place when were invited her by friends.
I always like a good pizza, and this is a good pizza. It's baked in the traditional way in a pizza oven until the crust bubbles. The crust is very basic, but with perfect flavor, texture, and consistency. There is a good choice of pizzas for a variety of taste, but we went with the "Create Your Own," choosing mushrooms and Kalamata olives. It was a good choice. The restaurant tries to source as many of its ingredients as it can locally, (even the red pepper flakes on the table are from a local source!), and they use as many organic ingredients as they can, too. It all ends up in a very good, very tasty product. There are a lot of pizzas out there, and a lot of variety, but I feel anyone who likes pizza will like this one.
We also had a Greek Salad. It was good, but I feel like the dressing they used was Italian. We shared the "small" salad, and it was plenty for one person, or two people who aren't that hungry.
The one thing I didn't like about this place was having to go to the counter to place my order, and then having to go find a seat. The place can get very busy especially at Happy Hour, (Happy Hour is ALL DAY on Sunday). I would also mention that if you come in a group, and you sit at the higher, narrower tables, it can be difficult to eat if you order more than one pizza. The tables are too narrow - not enough room. Other than that, the service was good, the pizzas came out in a timely manner, and everything we ate was very tasty for a fair price.
I would definitely come back here. They have good options for vegetarians, but it's kind of slim for vegans. They have a full bar, they have TV's, and they have a thriving take-out business.
