"This Colonial-style house with a vibrant decor, bistro-style furniture and soft lighting serves up a modern take on Mediterranean fare. Pick from a range of charcoal-grilled, wood-fired and oven-baked dishes and eat at the copper counter, which has six seats facing the open kitchen. Top choices include wild Hokkaido scallops and smoked marrow cappelletti, aged barbary duck breast and tasty golden berry with burnt sourdough mousse. Cocktails can be ordered from the bar upstairs." - Michelin Inspector

The 31 Best Restaurants in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam | Eater

"The sister restaurant of the Bangkok restaurant of the same name, Quince is a star in Ho Chi Minh City’s international dining scene. Chefs Julien Perraudina and Charlie Jones lead the kitchen, which turns out a produce-driven Mediterranean menu from two wood-fired ovens. The plating is exquisite, and the food is bursting with deep, rich flavors, especially the baked Isigny Camembert with black truffle honey or the wood-roasted cauliflower with 24-month-old AOP comte cream — and that’s before you get to the mains. Look out for Israeli spiced lamb rump, aged Barbary duck magret, and wagyu tomahawk bulgogi, to name just a few." - Linh Phan

Honestly, if you’ve experienced fine dining in the US and EU, this probably won’t blow you away. However, I think this is solid fine dining if you’re craving more western food & it’s definitely good value. I got a mocktail, an app, main, and dessert for $70. Where I’m from, just the main would be $70! Tried the salmon nori taco, duck, caramel ice cream. The food was pretty good but again nothing exceptional. The ice cream dessert was probably my favorite dish - it was a combination of sweet caramel ice cream with bitter dark chocolate ice cream, the combination was perfect. The little case of goodies at the end is cure too. And the ambience and service definitely deserves 5 stars.

Maybe I should first write why although everything worked out perfect I still didn’t give this place 5/5. Unfortunately leaving our table we saw a person wearing short sleeve and sport shorts. I think in restaurant as elegant as this one when everyone is wearing at least smart casual but mostly formal outfits, and the dresscode is on the website it’s unfortunately a reason for me to take one point from the final score. Unfortunately because to this point I really wanted to rate this place as a true perfect restaurant. Perhaps also would think about renovation of the restrooms, they could look bit nicer or at least cleaner. Now the positives - really appreciate the staff working there, our servers were super professional and friendly, peace of the dinner was correct, not rushed but also not waiting too long. Small mixed up with dishes and didn’t get everything I ordered but that’s okay - we finished the dinner more than satisfied. Really appreciate the messages that confirmed the reservation, asking for any special occasions for the visit and suggesting the amazing bar upstairs. Great atmosphere all around. Talking about the food it was for sure one of the nicest dinners in Vietnam during our 14 days there. Tuna with foie gras perfect for start, octopus was probably the least enjoyable from the whole dinner although the pesto was for sure something I will try to replicate at home. Funny enough the roasted cauliflower with cheese foam is only one dish I would order again - not because I didn’t enjoy the rest but because I wish to explore the menu more. But this vegetarian option was just perfect and interesting. For the main course we had chosen trout with claims and lobster pasta accompanied by truffle potatoes. My fish was nice but would probably skip it, lobster was great but the mashed potatoes were really to die for. We ended the dinner upstairs in beautiful bar where we got surprised with some sorbet. Really nice gesture! Also the prices are reasonable for this great food you are getting. Overall the whole experience was nearly perfect, wholeheartedly recommend coming here and if I ever come back to Ho Chi Minh City I will also visit this restaurant.

Me and my mom had a super great night at Quince. The food was truly amazing, the Foie Gras&Tuna was sublime! The team was so friendly and enthusiastic that made you feel like a family. My mom said it was probably the best meal she had ever had!

Last minute we have canceled our dinner in another restaurant…and oh lord! What a smart move! Fantastic atmosphere, great team and the food is beyond words! They are taking care of you also when you have food allergies, printed the whole menu suitable for your needs The cocktails are just amazing- you can choose by flavors and the mood you have, and actually its really well matching. Now lets talk about the food….just to keep it short; OUTSTANDING! The place is run by a french chef- he brings Europe to Asia, using the highest quality ingredients and the result is beyond delicious!

Service was good, food was delicious particularly the wagyu experience beef tomahawk. It was done medium rare and the meat was just very tender. But it little pricey though. Watch out for the drinking water, it's not cheap! BTW the bread is freshly baked and we had a second basket with compliments. Bread spread was great with the foie gras & hummus. Overall it was a great dinning.

Ribeye steak is perfect, the other appetizers or side dishes are all on the sour side. Service is not attentive at all. At the entrance, both of them, when we entered and left -lack of friendliness/welcoming feeling, even just a smile will be great. But the girl did sound professional and friendly during the call.

Wonderful experience with the team here after having to change dates several times. The wait team are well trained, attentive from afar and spoke english perfectly. The menu hit just right with options, though may need to tone down the creaminess across several dishes to balance the palate. Would recommend

It’s cozy and nice place for a night date, u guys should book a table in advance. For me, the food is mid I’d rate it 7/10 overall. We tried about five dishes and the duck was the best one. The service was good too, they even gave us some cool candies at the end. i’ll come back next time to try more
