Southwest-side Cantonese cooking with refined dim sum and specialties like abalone-topped chicken pies. Lauded by the Los Angeles Times for craftsmanship rivaling top Hong Kong standards, it’s a destination beyond Chinatown.

Our first time here and will not be our last. We ordered salt and pepper pork chops and the salted fish and tofu casserole and both of the dishes were really good. The pork was crispy without being greasy. The salted fish casserole was very flavorful without the msg taste. The serving was generous and price was reasonable. We had some leftover to take home. The servers were also well-mannered which is not typical of Cantonese restaurant's staff. Over all experience was great!

This review is for Rainbow Kitchen’s. Las Vegas. NV It’s been nearly two years since I last visited Las Vegas, and I recently had the chance to go back with friends—nine of us in total! We were treated to an incredible experience at a Hong Kong–style fusion dim sum restaurant. Like I said: everything was amazing! If you ever get the chance, don’t hesitate to try it. One reminder though—the more people you go with, the more variety and enjoyment you’ll have. That’s my only concern: how many of you will be joining us next time? 😉

Google
Amongst the best dim sum. Huge shrimp, nice portions. I highly recommend the lobster. Gave me a Cantonese vibe. I will be returning for more. 100% worth it.

In the mood for Chinese cuisine, I decided to visit Rainbow Kitchen. Upon entering, my party and I were promptly greeted and seated at a table. The establishment exuded a clean and well-maintained ambiance. We opted to sample a variety of dishes. Our order included The Westlake Soup, Roasted Duck, Beef with Vegetables, and white rice as a side. The Westlake Soup arrived first, featuring a hearty blend of egg, onions, and tender beef pieces. It received a resounding 10 out of 10 rating. Our main course followed shortly after, and the Roasted Duck was a standout. Its crispy exterior and succulent interior were a testament to its culinary excellence. The Beef with Vegetables also impressed, showcasing a harmonious balance of flavors and textures. Despite the temptation to overcook their dishes, Rainbow Kitchen managed to avoid this pitfall. Their commitment to quality and flavor made this establishment a highly recommended dining experience. I eagerly anticipate my next visit.

How did I not realize we had this gem of a restaurant? They're located in a plaza with a lot of parking and the size of the restaurant is ample. Their staff is great and friendly and quickly welcomed us as we entered. They made sure we were able to sit where we felt most comfortable. An abundance of options and all day Dum Sum!!! No need to travel to Chinatown aka Spring Mountain for delicious Dim Sum. The entrees are well portioned and flavorful. We definitely ordered too much and had leftovers for a couple of days, which held very well! Can't wait to go back. 🤤

Google
Food was pretty good. I have a preference for another dim sum restaurant but it is much farther from my house. There was nothing wrong with any of the food here. All pretty good. Just not as good as my favorite place. We tried quite a few items, and most were pretty close to what I am used to, but it just seemed like there were some ingredients missing in a few items that make the food a bit more bland. I used a hefty amount of chili oil to help overcome that though.

Google
Overall, we enjoyed the experience. The vegetables and soup were flavorful and well-prepared. However, the BBQ was far too fatty for our taste, with about 70% fat to 30% meat.

Google
Really enjoyed the ambiance of this restaurant. The food didn’t disappoint either, ordered four dishes and all were cooked to perfection. The servers were attentive and kept tabs on us during the entire meal. The prices were average and we felt more than fair for the food and services provided. The servings were a little larger than we’re accustomed to and that was a nice surprise. By far the best sweet and sour pork I’ve ever had, nothing like the breaded kind that most Chinese restaurants serve.

Yelp
There are very few restaurants where I am a 'regular' because we don't eat out enough, but this is one of them. There was a time where I think our group of 6-8 came here almost every Sunday for a month, lol. Chinatown dim sum, who's that? For those of us who don't want to do the trek, this is a haven. And imo, Rainbow Kitchen is just as good as places in Chinatown, but without the wait or parking nightmares. Everytime we've gone at 11am when they open, we've never had to wait for a table. Their portions are pretty good for the price and the meticulousness of their dishes is really what stands out. They have some dishes that my Cantonese mother-in-law says other places just won't make or serve because it's too much work. Less salty and more fresh than other places. The people who work here are also just super friendly too and dare I say actually provide good service? I think they started recognizing us at some point because of my friend's baby, so they were always super welcoming to our group. This is definitely a staple FOR DIM SUM whenever I have out-of-town guests and no one has ever been let down! (I have to specify dim sum because we've come for dinner and it's just okay)

Yelp
Rainbow kitchen is a must stop for Chinese food every time we visit Las Vegas. Their hot and sour soup is legendary, served in a huge steaming bowl it's rich in balanced flavor with just the right blend of heat and vinegar. Judging from the clientele and the free flowing conversations in Chinese their extensive menu has many authentic dishes along with familiar offerings to this American palate. I ordered a stir fried spicy squid with celery and mushrooms. It was delicious. The squid were cooked to flavorful perfect tenderness with a bit of chewiness. My Vegetarian dining companion had their exceptional Buddha feast. The dish had a mix of fresh bok choy, carrots, broccoli, napa cabbage and 3 kinds of mushrooms topped with rich vegetable broth sauce seasoned with garlic accompanied by chunks of fried tofu. Can't wait for our next visit. Be sure to ask for a discount when paying with cash.

Yelp
Good Hong Kong Cantonese style restaurant. We came here for dinner and ate family style (communal dishes). They have place settings with 2 pairs of chopsticks, one for eating (black pair) and one for picking up the communal food item (black pair). Food was good, not greasy and not salty, just the right flavor and smell. Service was attentive as they were not too busy when we were there. I would go back again

Yelp
This is our go to spot for dim sum in the sw area. It definitely gets busy on the weekends but we've never had to wait too long for a table. We order our usuals; spareribs, tripe, shrimp noodle, har gow, eggplant stuffed with shrimp, tofu. Everything always comes out delicious, give it a try!

Tom I.

Yelp
The quality of the foods made here is at their low and Tasteless qualities. The yang chow fried rice was dried to the tasteless. The seafood tofu delight was okay yet it lack of flavors.
google avatar

Mira S.

Yelp
This place has one of the best dimsum menu in Las Vegas! Everything is fresh cooked and steaming hot! They don't skimp on portions and filling. They make chicken shrimp shui mai instead of the usual pork. My favorites here include the stuffed eggplant, beef rice noodle, and scallop xo dumplings.
google avatar

Amy K.

Yelp
The fried rice and dishes are really bad...no more to go from here...chicken and other ingredients tastes really dry...

Yelp
Ok came back to give it another try..definitely redeemed......Reserved a table for 7 for family birthday dinner and it was perfect. All food served family style. Ordered Honey Walnut Shrimp Orange Chicken Dim sum BBQ pork bun Dim sum Lobster Salt and Pepper Lobster Sweet Corn with Chicken Soup Mongolian Beef Singaporean Noodles Glass Noodles with BBQ pork Scallops We tried it all. The service was amazing our server was attentive with refills, clearing plates and even helped serve my boyfriends cake. The food was fresh and Dim sum was very good. We live in the area and had been there prior and our family lived close and agreed we found a hidden gem. The salt and pepper lobster was 3ilbs and cooked amazing! Will come back and try the other flavors. The hot tea is a great addition. If you want a traditional delicious Chinese restaurant in your local area this is the place! Fresh food and great service!

Yelp
Came here today, Sunday for lunch for parking, there's plenty of parking spot outside the plaza. As we walked in I was surprised how busy this place is people are waiting to be seated and we were seated right away. The service are pretty fast. Place seemed like patrons enjoy the menu. From ordering our food to the delivery to our table, everything was cooked fresh. Everything tasted so good. We got the porridge and we also get their famous walnut shrimp, we ordered the duck with rice got the puff pastry with salted egg yolk, lava inside and some dim sum. Service was pretty good. Service was pretty fast and everything was delicious and came in on time. Our server were very attentive gave us tea And refill our water. For anyone who's looking for a spot for a quick delicious dim sum Chinese food look no further please visit rainbow kitchen. I'll be there again. Ambiance: Busy and family friendly restaurant.

Definitely will be back- the gai Lon is on the dinner menu- so next time- Worth the trip to get fresh dim sum!

Yelp
Not a bad option for Chinese takeout in Southwest Vegas. They do a solid Crispy Roasted Pork and good HK Style Pan-Fried Noodles! Their Sweet & Sour Chicken, however, is a miss. The chicken can be soggy on the outside and tough on the inside, and the sauce is too tart and runny, which contributes to the soggy issue. I prefer New York Chinese Restaurant's Sweet & Sour, for comparison's sake. Don't appreciate that they charge a buck or two more for each item than advertised. Might be back to try out their dim sum about which everyone seems to rave.
google avatar

Yelp
Overall the meal was decent, but I prefer other dim sums and Peking ducks in the area. Eggplant with shrimp paste - the eggplant and shrimp was cooked right, but the sauce was a little bland (and the pieces are extremely large for dim sum portions) Beef pan fried noodles - pretty solid beef pan fried noodles Peking duck - weird that they give you the bones. It makes it hard to make pancake rolls. I'm not a fan of getting my hands dirty and then going back and forth using utensils (requires a lot of napkin cleaning) Shrimp noodle rolls - good quality, but I like my sauce a little sweeter for this Shrimp and chicken siu mai - I prefer pork and shrimp Lobster noodles - lobster was soft and tender Ha gow - one of the better items Shrimp and crab dumpling - enjoyable, but couldn't really distinguish it from the ha gow-- couldn't really taste the crab Pan fried chive dumpling - wasn't too crispy Spare ribs - tasty and lots of pieces for a dim sum dish

Yelp
First time trying food from this restaurant. I've been hearing and seeing good reviews so we decided to give it a try. We chose a few of our favorite dishes and we all agreed everything was really good! Definitely recommend this place for some good eats! And a plus everyone we talked to was really nice and friendly!

Yelp
We were at church nearby and craving dim sum. Found this spot on Yelp and had to try it. At least I didn't have to drive to spring mountain to enjoy some dim sum. Plenty of parking in front and side of the restaurant. As soon as we walked in on a Sunday at 11:30am, we were seated with menu. There's no person pushing carts. You order on a paper and flag the person to have our items order. Looks like lots of locals eat here. Dim sum items came out fairly quickly expect the rice noodles. We had to ask for it. Everything tastes amazing. I love dim sum and their dim sum is good. Restaurant is a bit dated but it serves its purpose. You can order fresh fish and lobster from the tank directly and get it cooked thereafter. Super fresh. Service is good and attentive. Plenty of ppl to help if you need to get anyone. $38, that included tip for 5 dishes and chrysanthemum tea for 2 ppl. Not bad for good food.

Yelp
Needed a quick bite before going to a show and decided to come back to try their rice porridge. We had their fish porridge and beef chow fun, and both were very solid and authentic. It's good to know of this place that stays open between lunch and dinner. Again, our server was very attentive and courteous. Prices were good especially since there's a 10% discount for paying cash.

Yelp
It's always so consistent, clean establishment and clean food. We don't feel sleepy after. Everyone is always so nice and helpful. Big family and Kid friend too!

Yelp
Busy place means good food. We were served immediately and the server helped us check the right boxes. Ambiance could be better but it was packed and in one large room. Check it out.

Yelp
Wow, how was this place even recommended? The service here is truly non-existent yet they're expecting 18% and some. While I do appreciate the random luxuries of having 2 sets of chopsticks and a candle tea light to continuously keep the tea warm, it is not enough to make up for their poor attitude and service. We were the only ones to arrive and they did not even acknowledge us or try to sit us. One waitress was sleeping in the booth. Secondly, when collecting the tip, the waitress immediately opened it up to make sure it was sufficient. My dad requested a disposable liquid cup container for our leftover food and they refused to provide this to us as it appeared to be an absurd request. Instead of asking why, she flat out denied us. They even charge a $1 disinfection fee-- Like to clean your own supplies like any place would? What are you doing that's special than elsewhere? I would not come back again. I frequent Chinese restaurants often (626 native) and I know service is not the best..... but this is one of the lowest experiences I had. If Vegas depends on tourism, this restaurant doesn't exemplify it.

Yelp
The food was average nothing special we ordered couple specials in dim sum menu but the taste was below par and super salty

Yelp
Friends took us here for the first time. It was AMAZING!! We got there when they opened at 11am, all the tables were full by 11:15! The restaurant was clean and inviting. Our table had a lazy Susan in the middle which was fabulous since we had 6 people and so many different items to enjoy! Eveeything we ordered was delish!!! Service was great, very attentive and we didn't want for anything! Give it a try, you wknt be disappointed!!

Yelp
I made a reservation a week before and it was confirmed. We arrived there 10 minutes early but we were told we had to wait for an hour (???)

Yelp
I tried Rainbow Kitchen a couple weeks ago while in Vegas and unfortunately was not particularly impressed with the food here. We stopped by around 7p on a Tuesday night and there were only a few other groups so our party of 9 was seated immediately when we got there. Staff was nice enough and there was plenty of parking in front. We ordered about 10 dishes to split family style and while it wasn't horrible, it certainly wasn't good either - most of the dishes were over salted and the meat quality was overall poor.

Fina S.

Yelp
We haven't been here for over a year and was so glad we decided to have lunch here. The food was delicious and very affordable. We enjoyed the beef chow fun and the house noodles. The dim sum was amazing as well. We're looking forward to our next visit and will definitely bring my family. Thank you so much.

Adrian P.

Yelp
Nothing wrong with the food, but drove 30 minutes just to find out they didn't update their hours. Closed on thursday :/

Yelp
Took the birds here yesterday for dim sum. Getting a table is a bit chaotic when it is busy. There is no official waitlist so u gotta stand by the door and wait for the waiters to ask how many in ur party. If u just passively stand there u aint gonna get . Dim sum is pretty good here. My babacare ate most of the steamed stuff and the food came out quick with no annoying carts to flag down

Steven E.

Yelp
Very disappointing. Menus were confusing and no dish descriptions. Service was decent but not welcoming. Food ranged from one good dish to below average. With so many other options this should be a pass.

Alex B.

Yelp
Great staff and service. Pork jowl with mushrooms is so good, along with everything else I've tried. Great lunch or casual dinner spot.
google avatar

Queenie L.

Yelp
Rainbow kitchen serves the best dim sum in town. They have their own dim sum chefs and made dim sum fresh daily. They are all very delicious & unique unlike from other restaurants in town. Most Chinese restaurants nowadays bought dim sum from "dim sum factory" since hiring dim sum chef is hard. The servers are very attentive and helpful. They came to check on us & and refill our tea periodically. We love their secret chef menu. However you need to pre order it couple hours ahead of time or a day before for preparation. Their dishes are very unique and always hold a high standard. I never have any bad dishes, always present dining experience!
google avatar

Yelp
My department at work was fortunate to be treated for lunch here in celebration of the lunar new year. Most of the items I passed up because I'm vegan. Of the items I was able to eat, the Szechuan Eggplant was a winner, but the Salt & Pepper Tofu stole the show--I could eat that all day. Sesame Balls, from the dim sum menu, were also very good. The restaurant was well attended with a lively vibe. Service was very good.
google avatar

Church S.

Yelp
Really enjoyed the food here. Didn't have to go all the way to Chinatown for some decent food. The lady that served us very attentive and provided good customer service. The kids and I ordered the west lake soup, green bean in xo sauce, house special chicken and their pork chop. For the price and location I will definitely be back:)
google avatar

Yelp
I asked @LasVegasFill 'where's some great dimsum?' and he quickly replied with this location, which I'd already bookmarked :) Arrived on a friday, about 2pm, restaurant was about half full. From across the room they waved to us to take a seat in a booth. Some menus were dropped off and a clipboard with paper menu for ordering dimsum. So I dont know if they do the 'cart thing' when its busier or not. I posted the paper menu for others, there is a secret decoder with a symbol indicating the price (we didnt figure this out till after). The menu is pretty substantial. We ordered hot tea and water. The tea is delivered in a pot with the tea leaves steeping inside, and they brought us an extra pot of hot water to add to it (it gets stronger, alot stronger). There is also a nifty candle platform if you want to keep it hot. We ordered lots of shrimp balls, glutinous rice in tea leaves, sausage buns, gai lan w/oyster, shu mai, sesame balls. One of the shrimp ball concoctions came with XO sauce. The XO sauce is a dried shrimp/spice concoction that is super delicious but spicy. Mmmm. They even sell it. The shu-mai were bigger than most, and delicious. The gai-lan serving, perfectly cooked, was enormous (enough for 4 people or more), my only complaint here is that I wish I could get a 1/2 serving, I hated leaving food on the table. The service was impeccable, friendly and they were especially helpful when I asked about things like the XO sauce. Great food, classy digs, friendly quick service, yeah we got 5 stars here. Cant wait to come back next visit to Vegas.

Yelp
If you want good a dimsuim in the SW side of town. This is the place to go. It does get busy on the weekend but the food and service is great! I've been here for like 3 times already and it's yummy as always! Don't forget to try their egg custards!

Cristina O.

Yelp
Great dim sum especially the duck! Had the fish filet with vegetables and that was so good. Very attentive servers.
google avatar

Yelp
Great food but I had to decide between eating here or making a house payment. I guess our kid Bobby won't be getting dialysis this week and how do we blame the inflation prices on Covid. Hey Bobby don't drink alot of water this week
google avatar

Yelp
This Vegas eatery is among the finest Chinese restaurants, with every dish being exceptionally delicious, particularly the crab meat soup, honey walnut shrimp, duck, salt and pepper pork and shrimp, and dim sum. The staff provided outstanding assistance.

Yelp
My brother recommended this restaurant to us. This was not here 5 years ago when we lived here. I have not had a really good Chinese restaurant since Hong Kong Garden burned down on Spring Mt. & Jones. We ordered the seafood pan fried noodles. The gravy was good and all the seafood and vegetables were tender. That only bad thing was that they didn't give you enough gravy which left the noodles dry. We also ordered fried green beans. These were breaded and was seasoned with garlic. It was a unique dish which we quite enjoyed Eggplant in black bean sauce with fish was a really good choice. The pieces of was cooked perfectly with no crunchy pieces. The only con was we couldn't find the fish pieces. We could taste it, just couldn't see them We ordered orange beef but received orange chicken. Good dish if you want American Chinese, but was not what we were looking for. The Walnut shrimp had too much mayonnaise and was not sweet enough. The shrimp pieces were good sizes. The star of the dinner was the beef chow fun! This had tender pieces of beef with smoked sesame oil flavoring and just the right amount of soy sauce. This is one dish I would recommend. Everything we had here was good. The only bad thing is that there dishes had small portions. However, I'd rather pay for quality than quantity.

Yelp
This might be one of the better "authentic" Chinese restaurants in town. Some of their dishes are so unique and outstanding, while there are ones that are falling a bit short. You're in and out fast. The service is quick. Weekend morning/brunch time around 10a.m. has a line that's about 30 minutes, and mostly Chinese people. So you know it's the real deal. Memorable dishes- Crispy fried turnip cake- 5/5 stars. Sounds nasty, but IYKYK. It's so good, especially if you're a turnip cake fan at the dim sum, then this will semi-blow your mind. I had to ask the lady to describe the dish since I had never had it and most of it is in Chinese I can't even keep up with the menu. Chive dumpling- 2.5/5 stars. It was below average than other chive dumplings. Walnut shrimp- 4/5 stars. I mean, shrimp and mayo with candied walnuts? Messing this up is kinda hard. Chicken and shrimp xiaomai- 3/5 stars. I was bummed out they had no pork shumai, since it's my fave. IT was good. BBQ pork bun- 3/5 stars. Chow mein- 2/5 stars. It was lacking in flavor. I'd pass. Roast Duck- 4/5 stars. It was so greasy but cooked to perfection and had great flavor. Garlic tips sautéed in garlic- 5/5 stars. It was so good, I couldn't stop thinking about this dish for weeks. Went back a month later and was told it was out of season and no longer available. But, this is the standout dish for me. HK crispy noodle- 3/5 stars. It didn't have enough MSG for me. So, probably healthy and good for those who have a healthier taste bud. Hainan chicken- 3/5 stars. Don't come for me on the spelling here. Definitely didn't stand out and have had better in Alhambra, CA. Red bean mochi ball thing- 3.5/5 stars. I love this stuff. But for some reason, it was an OK here.

Francisca C.

Yelp
This is our go to dim sum place in the city. The fresh food, the selection, and not having the cart push around which sometimes can end up with cold food or having to wait for your favorite to come by.
google avatar

Joann B.

Yelp
My family had a CNY's eve meal here and it was a solid ok. I wish I could remember all the things we ordered, but only three things stand out in my mind: salt & pepper tofu, roasted squab, and the steamed crab. Of those three, I would order the tofu and probably the crab. The problem with the squab was that it tasted gamyer than roasted duck, but also tasted as if the meat had spoiled. No one in my family got sick eating it, so maybe it wasn't spoiled, but it tasted 'off.' I've had squab before, but not Chinese roasted, so maybe that was what was throwing me off. The crab was very flavorful, but overly seasoned. It was salty and had a lot of black pepper, and my mother couldn't eat it. If you live in the neighborhood, I'm guessing Rainbow Kitchen does well, but I would rather patronize the Chinese restaurants that I frequent on spring Mountain Road.

Yelp
Food: dim sum What to order: 91 coconut peanut mochi (3 piece) 104 turnip cake xo sauce (best) 111 soy sauce pan fried noodles (good) 116 green beans w/ground pork (good) 17 shrimp/chive (tasty) 19 steamed bbq pork bun (good) 9 glutinous rice/lotus leaf Shrimp fried rice Cold cucumbers (ok) What to skip: 33 rice rooms w/shrimp (bland) 36 steamed rice roll w/dough (bland) 2 steamed pork spare rib (bland) 13 har gau (bland) Ambiance: open space with large tables and smaller tables. Good for large parties. Service: food can be spaced apart too much. Location: in a plaza with plenty of parking. I like this place and the dim sum at The Palms the best.

Yelp
Rainbow Kitchen is a hidden gem! Their dim sum is always fresh and flavorful, and the duck rice plate is absolutely amazing. Great food and fast, friendly service - highly recommend

Yelp
This place is one of the very few authentic Chinese restaurant on the Southwest area of Las Vegas. My family and I order from there all the time. The food is very good. I love to order their noodles and seafood tofu clay pot. The only complaint I have is that their prices have gone up quite a bit in the past few years. Some of the dishes aren't very affordable now.
google avatar

Christine H.

Yelp
On a trip last year we had lunch here while in town. Since we had a big group we decided to try this Chinese restaurant for dinner for our group of 8. The waitress was really nice although the service was really slow. We had to wait like 10-15 min before they came to take our order. It was on the busier side and I did see several take out orders on the table beside us. I think it took between 30-40 minutes before we got our first dish which was the House special steamed chicken. We ordered a whole chicken but they came to tell us later that they didn't have a whole chicken, only half. The rest of the food came out slowly one by one. Overall the food was just okay. In comparison to Chinese food in Monterey Park it was not as flavorful. The string beans were too salty but they had a good crisp. The beef chow fun had a bit of a burnt taste. The steamed chicken was pretty good. The braised tofu was also good. The sweet and sour chicken and seafood Chow mein were not bad. For large familes/groups, this place is not a bad choice but just be aware that it won't be a quick meal. Parking is plentiful in the plaza, too, so that is a plus.

Yelp
I wanted soup so my daughter found this restaurant on Google. Came around 8:30pm on a Sunday night and this place wasn't busy at all. We ordered soup and two entrees for three adults and a toddler. The food was good!
google avatar

Trudy L.

Yelp
Dim sum items were fresh and creative servers were smiling Go see server 珊珊 小姐 Ms. Lily who's smiling the most. She joked she'll quit when I go back to eat. Very entertaining. 叉燒酥was triangle shaped chopped meat inside 乾炒牛河 was good but it'll be better if I asked for no black soy sauce. Fried egg rolls were one of my friend's favorite items but not mine. My favorite egg plant with fish paste inside impressed me cuz the chef Jackie scrubbed part of tough egg plant skin before he steamed then fried it. Amazing service of Staff.
google avatar

Froy D.

Yelp
Absolutely delicious dim sum and entrees. I've been here before for dinner, but this is my first time trying their dim sum line up. We don't have to deal with the China Town crowd anymore. This will be our "go to" dim sum from now on. Mikey Hong our server was fantastic and suggested a few dim sum items. Restaurant is clean and bright. A must try for Vegas visitors or locals.

Yelp
Food is delicious Service is fast Ambiance...needs little improvement But overall...I will be back
google avatar

Alfie L.

Yelp
Please remind me never go back again. The braised beef brisket was tasteless in brown colored sauce and the fried sticky rice was gooey, greasy and blend. For the price of $20 each, it was a total loss! Go to any fast food chinese, you'll get better and cheaper food.

Yelp
In our continuing search for good Chinese food, and at the suggestion of others, we decided to check out this place although it'a a good half-hour drive from where we live. First, it's always nice to be able to find a parking space. Absolutely no hassle. Second, the restaurant itself was bright and cheerful, and it looked really clean. There were several diners who were leaving and immediately, there's a staff cleaning the tables to get them ready for new diners. A man in a vest was constantly walking around, chatting with people, and it appeared he was checking in on everything around him. There was not a gaggle of servers talking among themselves. Everyone was hustling! We ordered Singapore noodles, fish with black bean sauce and for appetizer jelly fish with shredded chicken. I always think that if they can make this appetizer well, then it's a good sign. And they did The serving that was so generous we were able to take some home to enjoy the next day. The fish was perfectly cooked, it was really moist and seasoned well. The noodles were slightly dry but the shrimp with the noodles, like the fish, was perfectly cooked, plump and scrumptious. We liked that the staff was very attentive and that made this trip so well worth it. Why 4 stars? Well....because of the Singapore noodles --- it was tasty but not the best we've ever had. But we're willing to try other dishes. For now, we enjoyed our meal.
