Offering German bar concept, Rasselbock opened all day long for the guests to enjoy German nibbles and entrees over their signature beers. The place was vibing with sports matches on TV, yet chilling ambiance during the day. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seats, including those by the bar; so worry not on reservations ahead. Nonetheless, the waiting time to be served, getting the foods ready, and checking out did take awhile as they seemed to have very limited number of servers (at least at my visit time on Sunday lunch time).
Good news, the foods did worth the wait! We started with their Sausage platter, serving their so called traditional sausage, spicy chicken, and pork with cheese. This was surely great pick if you wanna try different kinds of their links without having to have each of them as main meals. Though all of them were flavorful and impressive in their own ways, my fave were surely the latter two. The spicy chicken was distinctive blending sweet and spicy taste, which I thought I'd never had before with sausage. The pork one was so juicy and cheesy in a great way, perfect to be enjoyed with the honey mustard and dijon dipping sauce.
We picked the Rasselbock Schnitzel for our main, which served breaded pork cutlet with deliciously creamy garlic sauce. I at first thought the slices were quite too thin but ending up loving they were served that way as they came with 2 sides of your choice, making it pretty filling. We're super hooked by our choices; rosemary potatoes with bacon and grilled brusselsprouts, and could doubtlessly say the sprouts were 100% not to be missed!
Having had awesome first experience, could confidently say that the next visit wouldn't be that far away!
