Mid City’s wood-fired favorite turns out blistered, Neapolitan-leaning pies and smart small plates. A frequent 225 Magazine honoree for pizza, it’s lively, local, and consistently well-executed.

Service: The staff is kind, but they don't pay attention to the patrons' table. We had a lot of stuff on the table, and nobody would remove anything. When we asked for to go boxes, the server put them on top of my bag on the chair because there was no space. She just left without removing anything! The Food: Tasty. The garlic knots are delicious but full of fat. Too much fat. The pizza tastes good, but since it looks like it is cooked on the fire, it has a strong burned taste. Something I didn't like at all was that it was ridiculously thin. I'm talking about paper thin. They look pretty, but they are as thin as a piece of paper. The salads are good. The gelato could be better. I definitely will not come back here when I want to eat pizza, but there are more things in the menu I would like to try.

Loved the food. The pizza was amazing! That was the best garlic knots I have ever had. The meat ball appetizer was okay 3/5 but I would get it again. The service was good and they were very attentive.

An Absolute Gem in Baton Rouge! Rocco Pizzeria blew us away from the moment we walked in! We kicked things off with the garlic knots—fluffy, golden perfection—and that whipped provolone? Are you kidding me?! Pure magic. The arancini with crawfish was a knockout—local flavor at its finest and exactly what we were hoping for. But the real showstopper? The Burrata pizza. Huge shoutout to the hostess for that recommendation—our taste buds are still thanking you! And let’s not forget John, our server—absolutely brilliant. Friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience even better. From the unforgettable food to the incredible staff, Rocco Pizzeria is a full-on vibe. If you're in Baton Rouge, this spot is a can't-miss. Go hungry and get ready to be amazed!

Google
In town for a few days and found a great spot for pizza! I had the pesto pizza which had delicious flavor and loved the hazelnut pesto and carmelized onions and spicy peppers! Others in my group had the rigatoni which was delicious albeit a little watery. The Mediterranean pasta salad was right on! Drinks were delicious and the Chardonnay was nice and cold!

Loved our quick lunch here! The scooter was very appreciated by our toddler. Really glad they encourage kids to sit on it while we ate.

We stopped in during spring break and were pleasantly surprised by the kind hostesses and quick seating. It was a bustling Thursday evening, and we indulged in the carnosa pizza. It was meaty, but it could’ve been cooked a tad bit longer. The Lent special crabmeat arancini was fried to perfection also very delicious. It also came with a special sauce on the plate, but it was great with or without it. The cast iron brown butter mushrooms with toasted bread was also a hit. The mushrooms had a great flavor and we even added some of them onto the pizza. You can tell that the locals love it here. There was lots of smiling faces, vibrant conversations, and folks both young and old enjoying great food.

Google
Came in for a birthday dinner and everyone left extremely happy! All the food was amazing, our server was fantastic and kept up with our large group, and the cocktails were delish! Highly recommend the garlic knots, burrata pizza, frozen espresso martini, and violet cocktail. We’ll be back very soon to try more😁

Google
This was our first time at Rocca, wowza, it's something special! I highly recommend reservations, they were busy when we got there, but we were seated quickly with our reservation. Our server was friendly and helpful, with good suggestions, we had a great view of the pizza oven and kitchen area. The carnosa pizza was my favorite, normally I don't love meat-heavy pizzas, but the addition of the smoked pork and bacon on the pizza was next level! We loved the garlic knots and the whipped cheese. I had a lovely glass of sangiovese. I am very eager to get back to Rocca!

Yelp
Fantastic, 10/10 experience. Our server Lexi recommended me the "violet, you're turning violet," an incredibly high-quality cocktail. My friend had the frozen French 75, which maintained a perfect balance between citrusy and sweet. For our appetizer, we went with the four garlic knots. It ought to be a crime how good these things were!! If you dip them in their garlic/chimichurri sauce AND the whipped provolone, you will ascend to a higher level of existence. I wish I were exaggerating. For entrees, I chose the veal piccata pasta, and my friend chose the stuffed vodka cannelloni pasta. This was my first time eating veal, and I'm happy to say that Rocca perfected the craft for this piccata. My friend loved her pasta as well. 10/10, will order again. The restaurant itself was very clean and had a comfortable atmosphere. Still, one of the best parts of our dining experience was our service from Lexi. She was so kind and personable. If you are looking for a friendly place with great food, Rocca is where it's at.

Yelp
Every meal I have here is always incredible! I love the mushroom appetizer and the pesto pizza. They always have delicious looking specials running too. Haven't had a bad drink here either. Inside has cool artwork and love that they show the giant pizza oven in the kitchen. Service is always great too. Recommend a reservation for weekends or busy times.

Yelp
After a long day at work, a nice comforting meal is also much needed. Start off with the crispy fried garlic knots dipped in that light and airy cheese. Simply divine! And who knew pistachios belonged in anything other than ice cream? The pistachio was light with a much needed nutty crunch from the pistachios. Drizzled with a sweet honey sauce. Highly recommend if you're feeling adventurous.

Yelp
Walked in and were seated towards the back outside of the bar area, inside the dining room area. Started with a bottle of Chianti and several appetizers: the Garlic Knots were outstandingly delicious, then Brussel sprouts that were so tasty with a grilled edge on each one. Our waiter handled us perfectly and then we ordered 3 pizzas: the pistachio pizza, Prosciutto Pizza and then the Bianche pizzas. All of them were very good and had a light fluffy dough. With some overcooked dough in the bubbles which was fine. Then I had a glass of the Nebbiolo big and light at the same time. Then this group of 7 people had some after dinner drinks aka digestifs. Mike had a Limoncello and Kemp had an Amaro which was quite good. Then we all split a chocolate tiramisu and a panna cotta! And maybe a bread pudding too!! Mmmm too good and too full!

Yelp
We had a great time at Rocca. It was super cute inside and perfect for date night! The frozen espresso martini was great and the apple-rol spritz was a great version of a traditional aperol spritz. The garlic knots were 10/10!!! Honestly the best I've ever had! The burrata pizza was also great! The flavors went so well together and it was so fresh! Our waitress, Annalese, was also phenomenal! Super friendly and personable! We will definitely be back :)

Yelp
I stopped by Rocca Pizzeria in Baton Rouge after work to meet a friend for happy hour, and it was a fantastic experience! The bar area was lively but not overwhelming, creating the perfect setting to relax and catch up. The pizza was absolutely delicious--fresh, flavorful, and baked to perfection. You can tell they use high-quality ingredients, and the crust had just the right amount of crisp. I paired it with one of their specialty drinks from the happy hour menu, which was crafted with care and balanced perfectly. The bartenders were excellent--attentive, friendly, and really knew their stuff when it came to making drinks and providing top-notch service. The overall ambience was warm and inviting, with a modern yet cozy vibe that made it easy to unwind. Whether you're stopping in for a quick drink or a full meal, Rocca Pizzeria is definitely worth a visit. I'll be back!

Yelp
Rocca is another Baton Rouge stable. Since they opened, my husband and I frequent here for our pizza fix! The pizza has been consistently good each time we go. Although, I think they may have changed some of their recipes. The chicken pesto pizza had a different flavor in comparison to before. Not a bad taste, just different. Definitely check them out for an elevated experience in person. The ambiance is moody and modern inside, which is perfect for a date night! I'm sure we'll be back again and again.

Yelp
The garlic knots were amazing. It set high standards for our meals. However, the shrimp scampi wasn't a classic shrimp scampi. The sauce was red, and it tasted like cajun shrimp with lime. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't what I was expecting. The affogato was tragic, that was just Breyers with expresso. I was also overfilled (which is normally a great thing), it made it incredibly hard to pour the expresso without spilling the coffee. My friend's pizza was good, I'd rate that 8/10. The service was great though, our waiter was kind and we got plenty of refills. I'm just a little disappointed.

Yelp
We went for our first visit at lunch. Garlic knots were fun to start. Caesar with shrimp and arancini with short ribs served with a delicious sauce. Thanks to Camille for advice about white pizza. It's a very nice space with convenient parking. We will try happy hour next

Leenette B.

Yelp
Unique pizza flavors. It's very good. Quiet atmosphere with just the right amount of background noise so that you can hear your dinner companions. The service is exceptional.

Yelp
A great happy hour!! Every Tuesday- Friday from 2-6 they have an amazing happy hour where select cocktails, appetizers and pizzas are half off! Yes you heard me right! Y'all know I'm all for that! It was such a fun time trying out things that this may be my favorite happy hour in Baton Rouge! It has such a great vibe and that wood fired pizza oven is ...the pizzas coming out of there are delicious

Yelp
This place was absolutely everything I've been missing in my life. From the wine to the appetizers, from the pizza to the gelato, it was all good- no GREAT. The food and drinks were absolutely (almost- no damn near) perfect! The only upsetting thing was how burnt half my pizza was, which I love some toasty crust but this was burnt to the crust (ha! Get it? Burnt to a crisp but burnt to the crust instead HA! Whatever...anyway) I was quite disappointed with that cause I could have eaten the whole thing too but the taste of the burnt crust was just breaking my heart and ruining my taste buds. Thank goodness the chocolate gelato put the pieces of my heart back together cause I'd still be on the floor crying if it weren't for the gelato! The restaurant was kind of dark but I enjoyed it, it really set the mood for me and my date (and by mood I mean the type of mood where you stuff a whole pizza-if it's not burnt to a crust- in your mouth and don't care who watches you devour it, type of mood.) The service was so so so SOOOOO good. I consistently saw the staff hustling and bustling throughout the brief moments I took my eyes off my beautiful food (yes even the crispy pizza was still shamelessly beautiful) . My friend and I throughly enjoyed our dinner here and will be back soon! I highly recommend their garlic knots (and asking for a side of red sauce) and trying their pizza, it was so so delicious, and of course don't forget to end your night with some gelato!

Yelp
I've been to Rocca many times since it first opened, and it has always been a fairly good experience. Fair disclosure, I'm not big on a lot of different style of pizzas or any of the more unique or different style. My preference is usually a red sauce with basic things. Rocca does offer a style of that in different ways, but also has a variety of other pizzas with all sorts of toppings. I have many friends who are all into that, so it's good for all of us. However, aside from the pizza, the salads are pretty on point, and a review cannot be done without mentioning the garlic knots. They are basically just deep fried pizza dough, but they have a lemon butter parm glaze and are served with whipped provolone. I would go there strictly for the knots and the wine if needed. Most recently, we made a reservation for restaurant week. To speak to that, on their dessert for RW, they had a watermelon gelato that was delicious. I hope they consider adding it to their menu...so good. Service has always been wonderful. I have sat in all areas of the restaurant, at the bar, during high volume times and slow times, and service has never disappointed. That speaks volumes these days. Their drinks are great - cocktails and their wine selection. So while I'm not a huge fan of the pizza (personal flavor decision for me), I do love the other items. I need to dive into the pasta dishes next time. Time to think about our next Rocca adventure.

Yelp
Best pizza in Baton Rouge. The garlic knots are great with chimichurri and whipped provolone. My fav pizzas are both white pies - the pistachio and the mushroom medley. So. Good. I love a good artisan pizza that involves unique use of ingredients. The pistachio pizza is an example of that... fingerling potatoes on a pizza? Yes, just try it.
google avatar

Peyton F.

Yelp
The food was very tasty. The garlic knots have a lot of flavor and I like the dip that comes with them. The frozen espresso martini is very strong I also really enjoyed the taste of the pesto. The chicken cutlet sandwich had a very different taste than I expected, but like recommend adding a sauce to it.

Camille B.

Yelp
We ate here for my daughter's birthday with our family of six. We really enjoyed our appetizers-garlic knots and citrus olives. I've never had cooked olives and was surprised by how tasty they were. I had the frozen espresso martini which was sweet but also strong. Our entrees were all great-pizza, cannelloni, salad and chicken sandwich. Service by our waiter, Zak, was very attentive. We will definitely be back.

Yelp
Purchased a pie online. The price of their pepperoni pizza on a photo of the menu (on Yelp) was $13. When ordering through Rocca's website, the price of the pepperoni pizza was $18. I didn't see the price difference as an issue because of the amount of pepperoni present in the menu photo (see first photo.) Photo two is the pie I received. Next to no pepperoni. The flavor of the pie is solid. The price point for the lack of protein? Lackluster. Photo

Yelp
Excellent pizza, great ambiance, lovely service. Half off pizzas during happy hour was icing on the cake.

Miranda S.

Yelp
I can't believe I waited so long to try Rocca Pizza! I love a Neapolitan style pizza and this place was amazing!! The ambiance inside is great it is very nice and clean. They had a good amount of cocktails to choose from and soooo many pies. We had the pasta chopped salad which was delicious, as well as the rocca meatball, I wasn't super crazy about it, and got a bunch of pizzas to share. They also had a great happy hour! Tuesday-Friday from 2pm-6pm is half off cocktails and wine and select pizzas., as well as some of the apps are discounted. Can't wait to come back!

Yelp
Quick review: 10/10 food, service and ambience. You MUST get the garlic knotts.... They are unlike anything I have eaten. For pizza I had the pesto with chicken and my husband had the bianche. Both were so so yummy. So flavorful. Will be back to try more!

Yelp
Great atmosphere food was above expectations and will definitely return. Try the garlic knots the whipped cheese.

Yelp
Love love love Rocca! Delicious seasonal arancini is always a must. Definitely get the sprouts and the pistachio pizza.
google avatar

Destinique D.

Yelp
My little ones wanted pizza but from a local spot. I'm happy we stopped by here. The hostess was friendly and we were seated quickly and by the pizza oven area so my baby really enjoyed watching the pizzas go in and out the ovens. We had the pepperoni pizza and the garlic knots. The pizza was large enough for three. Everything tasted really good. The garlic knots were fresh and hot and full of garlic butter. The pizza had just the right amount of cheese and sauce and pepperoni. We'll definitely be back. The ambiance was really nice, like you go here for date night, just catch up with girls, or take the kids.

Yelp
Came to rocca for a bday dinner and had a great time! I always get the smoked brisket pizza but this one was the best I've had--it was hot and super flavorful. The wait was a bit long for basics but it was super packed on a Friday night. Our waitress was so sweet even though she had numerous tables asking for things which helps. Always love Rocca!!

Michael C.

Yelp
over $50 for a Margherita pizza and a plate of spaghetti for carryout. Pizza crust was floppy and soggy, sauce was sour, cheese was rubbery. actually lower quality pizza than a $10 lit pizza. Spaghetti and meatballs were fine but really expensive for a small portion. Really unimpressed.
google avatar

Yelp
Been a while since we ate here, food is still delicious, pizza tonight was solid with variety and the portions are plentiful. The frozen French 75 is a hit and we filled up on salad with added protein. Parker was our server and she treated us like family, that was lagniappe, already planning a return trip
google avatar

Yelp
Rocca is delicious! Their pizza is SO good - the crust is to die for. The best thing I've tried though is it garlic knots with whipped provolone heaven in your mouth. They also have a delicious drink menu, everything we tried was great! Our server was so kind and patient, despite having a table of 22!! The whole restaurant is super cute and would be a perfect date night spot
google avatar

Yelp
The classiest pizza place in BR! Upscale pizza with an upscale atmosphere that has a great happy hour special! I went for a GNO, and it was spot on. I went for restaurant week, and I was amazed! The menu looked really good online, and it was even better when I was eating it. I got an app, entree (a whole size pizza), and a dessert all for $25. Also, I got there when it was still happy hour, so I got two drinks for a total of $12, the Rocca Spritz and the Frozen Mellow... both were delicious, but I preferred the frozen drink. For my app, I got the Brussels sprouts. They were just how I like them, a little burnt and packed with flavor. As the entree, I got the Spietiz (not spelling correctly) pizza, which had red sauce, mozzarella, red peppers, salami, and onions, it was so good and again full sized! My friend got the other pizza that was offered for restaurant week, the Muffaletta pizza, and it was a different taste, but it was still good. That one came with white sauce, olives, prosciutto. The dessert was my favorite part, I have never had panna cotta before, and I will definitely be getting it again. It was sweet and creamy mixture and then topped with a graham cracker. Rocca is right on government, so plenty of other places around, has a parking lot and was a decent sized restaurant with a packed house when I went!

David C.

Yelp
Great pizza! Great service! Very cool atmosphere! I go back and forth between the red pizzas and the white pizzas. Both are awesome!
google avatar

Yelp
If you are a lover of Neopolitan-style pizza--and you should be--this is your place. The pies are perfection. The sauce is a bright, fresh, and simple, tasting of high-quality San Marzano tomatoes. Nothing more and nothing less, just as I like it. But the crust. The crust! Phenomenal. I have been advised that they sell their dough balls. I have not yet taken advantage, but I fully intend to, though I know my Ooni is a poor substitution for Rocca's beautiful oven. If you don't order the garlic knots, you are a fool. I have had similar at a well-known New Orleans establishment. These are better by far. You have not lived until you have had the whipped provolone. I only wish I could recreate myself as it sadly does not transport well. Their newest special is housemade pastrami on rye. I myself do not eat beef but my husband loves pastrami, so we dropped everything so he could try it without delay. We have visited New York City several times in the past couple of years. My husband has had some GOOD pastrami sandwiches. He says he likes Rocca's better. Better than Katz. Service is always lovely, ambiance is good. If you're going on a Friday or Saturday, make reservations. This is popular spot, and for good reason.

Yelp
Been here twice and have loved it! I have had the best experiences when coming in a group and eating family style, since you can sample a wider variety of their offerings. The garlic knots are a must, but the Brussels sprouts and brown butter mushrooms are sensational as well. Favorite pizzas were the Dolce Vita, Giardano, and Pistachio. And the only pizza I have ever not enjoyed was the Carnosa... the meat was a bit overwhelming. Service has always been great, and although I didn't try any of the alcohol myself, the other folks at my table all had great things to say about the beer menu. Looking forward to coming back and trying more of the menu!
google avatar

Amber J.

Yelp
The garlic knots were delicious! The menu includes pizzas with red and white sauce. I ordered the pesto pizza (white sauce) and adding a protein is optional. The pizza was good but slightly dry. Our waitress was great and friendly. She managed our large party to the best of her ability. This restaurant is great for all occasions with good music. I would love to visit again for the garlic knots.

Avery M.

Yelp
Food was everything we expected and more. We ordered the Garlic Knots , Roasted Carrots , Burrata pizza and the Cannolis. Our server Colvin was amazing. He handled a busy service easily and made great conversation while doing so. The back dining room atmosphere was amazing. I will be back plenty of times. A MUST eat.
google avatar

Corbin T.

Yelp
This is hands down the best spot for pizza in BR! I got the goat cheese appetizer and the Vespa pizza and was thoroughly pleased with both of them. The onions they put on the pizza are something special and their spicy bomba sauce adds the perfect touch of heat. I left with leftovers, a full stomach, and a desire to return in the coming weeks. Whether you're looking for a casual lunch spot or a place to take a date, this place is sure to please. I recommend coming here over any other pizza joint in BR. You'll spend a little more money but you'll get a significantly better pizza, a classy vibe, and an overall better experience.

Yelp
Ever since my local spot for authentic Italian Bread and Circus Provisions in Lafayette has closed these guys have now become my favorite in the state for authentic Italian pies that are wood fired. And I have been to practically every wood fired in the state too!! The garlic knots with the whipped cheese are awesome with a hint of zest that makes them over the top fabulous. All of the drinks (wine, beer etc) are great. Most of the are somewhat local and great choices to go with the food. My 2 boys absolutely love the meatballs and pasta as well as the pies. Great place for some stellar , drinks and a good time.
google avatar

Meghan D.

Yelp
To start, the service at Rocca's was great! My boyfriend and I went on a Sunday night and we were seated quickly. We ordered the garlic knots and meatballs as appetizers. It was one meatball on top of grits - very tasty. The garlic knots were doughy and buttery. I ate the appetizers together and they were delicious! For pies, we ordered half smoked brisket and half pepperoni and both were fantastic! I will definitely be back when in Baton Rouge!
google avatar

Amy J.

Yelp
Yummy garlic knots and pizza! The dough was very tasty and the ingredients were fresh!

Lainie C.

Yelp
This place was great!! Food was amazing, I got the Burrata pizza, and it was delicious! Also the garlic knots were delicious. Got the fries to see how they were, and was not disappointed. Got a frozen espresso martini, and had a great time with friends here! This place was great, with great service and atmosphere'

Yelp
The pesto white pie was incredible, as was the portobello sandwich. Delicious lunch with great service. We will be back next time we're in town

Yelp
This small restaurant has a real brick oven pizza. The back room is loud, especially whenever its full of loud people!! The pizzas are all great!

Nick J.

Yelp
Five stars all the way!! I wish they had a place like this in Dallas. The best pizza we've ever had. The combinations are crazy good. Try it, you won't be sorry!!

Yelp
I'm not sure when's the last I've reviewed Rocca but I thought it was time to give it a re-review. Last week, I went to Rocca for my birthday dinner during happy hour, and let's just say it gets better every single time I go! I ordered a pepperoni pizza, brown butter mushroom app, chicken cutlet sandwich, and salted caramel gelato. Let me just start out by saying WOW. I'm so obsessed with how great their happy hour is. The pepperoni pizza we ordered was half off and the violet I'm turning violet cocktail was as well (both being super delicious)! I also ordered my go-to app, the brown butter mushrooms which is just too good to even explain. I also ordered their chicken cutlet for the first time in so so long and I'm super glad I did. I will say I miss when it had pesto on it instead of the salsa verde, so I ended up taking off the salsa verde and adding the pesto to it which was so good. Our waiter was the best ever! He was super busy but made sure to come back to us to check in and make friendly conversation. He definitely made my birthday great, and I wish I could remember his name to mention him in my review! He recommended the salted caramel gelato and it was to die for! I loved how it came in a chilled glass. I'm super glad with my decision to choose Rocca for my birthday dinner and I'll continue to choose it for more special occasions and for a simple happy hour treat!

Yelp
This place gets 5/5 stars from me!!!!!! Me and my parents went for the first time last Friday night and we had a great time. We got there at around 4:40 pm for an early dinner and we are glad that we did get there early because the parking lot behind it was already filling up! Me and my mom shared the chopped Italian salad for a starter and it was probably one of the best salads I have had in a while. The crispy chickpeas on top were great, the salami was thinly chopped, and the dressing was nice and light but flavorful. We then ordered two pizzas, pepperoni and margarita, which were both on happy hour so they were only $7 a piece! Great deal!!!! I ate the margarita pizza and it was really crispy which I also loved!! The atmosphere is also nice and it is pretty on the inside which always adds a nice touch!! Would definitely recommend trying Rocca.

Yelp
A couple friends and I went here on a Saturday night. Parking was way easier than I thought it was going to be. There is a lot around back that wraps around. We got inside and were seated right away. I ordered the violet drink and it was amazing. We quickly landed on the brussel sprouts and garlic knots with whipped provolone. The Brussels were crispy and flavorful, but NOTHING beats the garlic knots. They are lights and fluffy with the right balance of garlic and herbs. The cheese was met with mixed reviews but I loved it. I got the carnosa pizza. It was pretty good but I wish it had garlic or something to pop the flavor more. My friend got the Italian hero and we were shocked with how big it was but it was delicious. Finally, my other friend got the rigatoni and thoroughly enjoyed it. We all had leftovers which we appreciated after some more drinks. So far this is the best pizza in BR that I've found.

Ava R.

Yelp
All the obscure pizza flavors are phenomenal. The pistachio and smoked brisket were both a solid 9/10! Would've been a 10 if they were warmer. Garlic knots are a MUST try! A fun place to be and service was good enough.

Yelp
First thing, the service was amazing. We were a little slow to be seated at first but the waitress did a phenomenal job at serving us and making sure we were frequently attended. My girlfriend and I ordered 2 Appetizers and 2 Pies. The appetizers were AMAZING! I cannot express how much attention to detail they put in their garlic knots, the presentation was good, it was crispy, hot and flavorful. I would definitely recommend. The crispy potatoes were okay, most of my fingerling potatoes weren't crushed so they didn't come out crispy, it was just soft. The Pies were definitely the let down. We ordered the Rockefeller oyster pizza and the Giardano Pizza. They did an amazing job with the presentation and their attention to detail when it comes to crust and everything was good but the pies we ordered weren't good. The oysters didn't taste fresh which was off putting when pairing it with a heavy white sauce and the Giardano pizza was definitely just a preference, we wished we had gotten a pizza with a little meat on it. The ambiance of the place was good, they had good music playing and being able to see the chef's make the pizza was entertaining. Overall, I will definitely be coming back here to try out more appetizers and a pasta. I'll probably give the pizza another try but next time with meat.

Yelp
A sweet neighborhood haunt that has killer pizza AND the most perfectly addictive appetizer you've ever had? Rocca is the delicious spot we never knew we always needed in the Red Stick! With a commitment to using local ingredients and serving tasty wines and cocktails, along with my favorite pizza, it's a sophisticated yet casual gem in the up and coming Mid City neighborhood. Their garlic knots will forever be perfection in my eyes with their fresh homemade dough being tossed in the fryer, tossed in buttery garlicky goodness and then served with the most creative whipped cheesiness. The best sort of indulgence. Then you have their wood fired pizza with innovative toppings like potatoes and pistachios (the Pistachio white pizza), pizzas using local ingredients (The Iverstine), and the best 4 cheese pizza I've had in BR. If you are just looking to pop in, their happy hour 7 days a week is a nice way to start your evening as well. Run not walk to Rocca ASAP, y'all.

Best pizza in Baton Rouge! Great service too. Pricy but you get what you pay for. Love it!
