San Diego’s Best Burgers | Eater San Diego

"Specializing in sliders, this burger restaurant with outposts in Mission Beach and Ocean Beach is known for its mini sandwiches with wagyu beef wedged between two warm, toasted bread buns. The Classic comes with onion confit and one patty (or two patties for an additional cost of $5.50), Kewpie mayo dressing, and melted jack cheese. Another variation of the classic, dubbed the Little Sal, is served with bacon whiskey sauce and baby arugula. Choose two or three sliders, along with one of the options for hand-cut pommes frites: blue cheese bacon fries with chopped bacon and cabbage, spicy elote with roasted sweet corn and chipotle aioli, or the classic. Hot tip: Beer-battered onion rings make a great substitution for fries, if you’re in the mood for them." - Roxana Becerril

The 24 Best Restaurants In San Diego 2024

"After enjoying the waves at Mission Beach, swing by Rosemarie’s one block from the water and snack on some sliders. We particularly like their take on the McDonald’s Big Mac, aptly-named the RosieMac, which comes with caramelized onions and tasty house special sauce on a stack of two wagyu patties. This burger joint is tiny, but adorably decorated like a beachside shack, with blue, paisley-adjacent wallpaper and photos of the chef’s grandmother. Once you’ve finished eating, take a stroll down Mission Beach’s boardwalk while dodging rollerbladers." - ligaya malones

Google
Update to review: we dined again & enjoyed the elote fries. They were so good, had a nice kick to them & were filling. Great experience here at Rosemarie's! It's a walk up type shack, menu posted on the door but they also have hand-held menus. They do sliders (which are not small). You get two sliders, which also you to mix and match if you're torn between flavors. I chose to do both of mine as the Nashville Hot Chicken. It was delicious, freshly made and filling. We got one order of fries which was plenty for three people to share (with some leftovers). They have bottled drinks for choices. Limited seating here but well worth the visit! Our timing was perfect and we were able to snag seats. They also have a TV mounted if you're interested in some entertainment. There is also music playing. Overall great vibe, delicious food, friendly staff and prices were decent. Highly recommend!

Arrived on a Saturday around 5:40 PM, no wait, excellent service, food prepared quickly, and quality sliders. I highly recommend the Cajun soft shell crab and the round UP sliders. Food was piping hot, fresh, and both the onion rings & fries were golden and crispy sprinkled with Cajun seasoning (large amount for sharing). Thank you Rosemarie’s, can’t wait to return and try another set of sliders. 👌🏼

Google
Not enough stars to rate this place. The atmosphere during a weekday lunch is perfect, and the food was incredible. Plenty of options and being sliders they're great to pick and choose. The Nashville Hot chicken sandwich in particular was a home run. One of the best chicken sandwiches I've had between Seattle and Portland, and being a slider was the right amount of spice. The seating is great and low key as well.

Google
Simple counter order spot in San Diego, indoor and outdoor seating is available. I ordered (3) sliders, a small fry and a drink which was just under $30. My food came out quickly and I sat outside overlooking the sidewalks and people passing by. The burgers were amazing, and as I was enjoying my food one of the owners Nick introduced himself and thanked me for my service (guess I just have that look). He told me he served as well and offered me a free beer. Overall I enjoyed my meal, the environment, and the hospitality 🙏🏼👌🏼

Google
Went to check out famous burgers. Not disappointed. The smallish double patty burger was cheesy but with a little too much sauce that overpowered the meat flavor. The onion rings are some best ever had. Place not to crowded and staff friendly. Recommend.

Google
Rosemarie’s is rated one of the top 100 restaurants in the US and I know why. This place was phenomenal! All the burgers are slider styles and there are so many options. The burgers are great, but they also have this chicken slider that was out of the world and a filet o fish which I loved too. The Rosiemac, the Gnar, the Roundup, and the Filet O fish. I would eat them over and over again! Such great vibes, nice and clean inside, great service, and the food is out of this world! I’ve been thinking about going back ever since!

Google
Great Sliders! Signature burgers were great my sister in law had the chicken ones and really enjoyed. Wish the fries and rings were homemade. Lots of great local beer too.

Google
Stopped into Rosemarie’s for a quick bite and it was fantastic! They have a great selection of sliders to choose from—everything on the menu sounded tempting, but I went with the ROSIE Double double, and it was absolutely delicious. I’m glad I stuck with just one slider because it was plenty filling for me, but I’m definitely planning to come back and try more of their slider styles. Great food, great vibe—highly recommend if you're in the mood for a casual but seriously tasty meal!

Yelp
I love Sadie she was so sweet and nice. She was very helpful with my friends and I. She had wonderful customer service. Would definitely come back.

Yelp
This place just opened like 2 days ago off of Sunset Cliffs Blvd in OB (where Whomp Burger was). We ordered 3 sliders for the two of us. The classic, the double-double, and the Bombay chicken with a side of elote fries. The sliders were epic! Each one had unique flavors but the double-double one took the crown. The fries were also very flavorful, however, the portion was somewhat small. Overall this place has amazing food, friendly service, and still has that burger shack vibe that whomp had. This place is somewhat pricey for what you are getting (50$) for 3 sliders, fries, and a beer. I would recommend this place, however, keep in mind it might cost more than what you think.

Yelp
Definitely tasty. Like my friend's daughter said "wow this is a really great burger. The meat is soooo good. The fries are seasoned perfectly and the onion rings are crispy goodness." One of servers was kinda rude when asked a question. Limited seating and out front you're right on the street with cars passing closely by with all their noise and exhaust. If you can't eat inside, get it to go!

Yelp
Awesome service Awesome sliders! Fries and onion rings delicious as well Very clean space inside and outside!

Yelp
First time here... This is the best burger in Mission Bay. The Rosiemac is amazingly tasty and delicious. The service, cleanliness and quality of service is outstanding. The menu is very simple and so much fun to order from. The different flavors of food are very satisfying and savory. Will definitely return for more.

Yelp
The RosieMac was excellent! Highly recommend. 2 regular sized patties with cheese stacked on top of both patties plus onion, mayo and special sauce on a slider buns. Lots of American cheese! The special sauce (like thousand island) was very good. In the summer of '24 it was $8.50 for a one-patty slider, and $5.50 extra for the RosieMac (double). My friend enjoyed the Nashville Hot Chicken slider, but didn't think it was that hot. We shared the spicy elote fries, with corn, aioli, peppers and cotija. It was good. Great outdoor seating if the weather's nice!

Yelp
Outstanding onion rings! Burger was juicy and delicious but I had wished I had requested the sauce on the side. It had a spice I didn't love. I'm not sure I would say it's the BEST burger I've ever eaten but it was very good. I often compare burgers at my favorite burger place in NY. It wasn't quite as beefy tasting as my favorite burger but it was definitely very juicy. It was almost as good as a Shake Shack burger. I realize some might disagree but this is my opinion. If you're finicky about sauces, ask for the sauce on the side. It definitely took away from my burger eating experience. Service was good. Tight seating. Get there early.

Yelp
First time here we tried the little Sal burger and Bombay chicken sandwich. I meant to get the Nashville hot chicken, but the Bombay chicken was delicious. We also enjoyed the little sal. as a side, we got the onion rings which were light and fantastic. The Place has a great vibe, but the music was about 2 dB too loud. It was really quite impossible to chat and hear one another. so really recommend turning down your music. Service was fabulous. Everything was well explained. They are also happy to give recommendations. Good selections of beer. We will be back to try the Nashville, hot chicken and some other items.

Yelp
Rosemarie's Burgers is the perfect place after hanging out at Belmont Park or a day at the beach! It's a little shack that is a walks a way from both places, and has some outdoor seating as well. The service is great, the owner was super friendly to us as we walked in! Only thing I wished was if the fries came at the same time as the burgers... Appetizers: Spicy Elote Fries: these were super flavorful. Maybe a little too much sauce. But overall a great blend of things inside. Our table agreed that the jalapeños were top tier. Onion Rings: probably some of the best thick batter onion rings I've ever had. Had a great crunch while being super light. MUST GET. Fries: arguably better than the elote fries. Just a good ol' classic fry. Can't beat it. Sliders: The Rosiemac: absolutely insane burger. Got the double and it was the best thing I've ever eaten. I'd go as far as to say the best burger in San Diego. The sauce is there but doesn't over power the meat. There's cheese but the perfect amount to let everything shine through. With a dab of ketchup, the whole dynamic changes. Great burger. MUST GET. Little Munchies: this chicken slider was amazing. Super tender meat. The blue cheese in it really shone through to complement the sauce. The buffalo sauce was perfect. MUST GET. Little Sal's: this burger sucked in comparison to everything else. The individual ingredients didn't really make anything great here. It had a little sweetness to it, but not enough to contribute to the lack of taste. Most definitely can skip this one. Soft Shelled Crab: this was good. Think po boy but in a slider form. Nothing too special about this one, but it was a solid slider. Dessert: Caramel Apple Fritters: I love donut holes and this was one on steroids. Amazing. There was a scarcity of Apple chunks in it, but still had great texture. The dough was soft on the inside, crunchy on the outside. The powdered sugar and caramel worked very well together for two different kinds of sweetness. MUST GET.

Yelp
Update: Skip the soft shell crab, not worth the price and taste despite its being recommended. Didn't like the sauce and the softshell wasn't crispy enough. I was disappointed this time with the Nashville hot chicken. The piece was very small and dry. Would skip coming next time.

Yelp
Came with my boyfriend to try it out and the location was a super cute little storefront! It's located in the heart of PB, so parking will be a challenge, but once you order the sliders you'll enjoy every minute of it. I think the price of the sliders is a bit high in my opinion, but I can't deny that they were really good. I recommend the luau because it was a good mix of salty and sweet!

Yelp
I'm that guy who generally only leaves reviews after a negative experience. But I have to make an exception for Rosemarie's Burgers. Yesterday was the last day of a quick San Diego trip with my wife and daughters. We were looking for a quick meal to wrap up the day, and initially walked right past Rosemarie's, despite a friendly greeting from an employee inviting us in. After waiting 15 minutes at a restaurant nearby without even seeing a single staff member, we headed back to Rosemarie's. Honestly, one of the best dining experiences we've had. The service was great, and the food was amazing. I don't share my food, especially burgers (it gets messy), but after one bite of the Rosie Mac slider, I had to make everyone take a bite. The Rosie Mac, the Nashville Hot Chicken, the Round Up, the Little Sal, even the fries and chicken bites were delicious. The restaurant was clean, fun decor, fast and friendly service. Just go, you'll understand. It certainly helped that, unbeknownst to us, a customer who saw us walk in had paid for our meal, but didn't stay around for us to thank him. So, stranger, thank you!! A fun-packed few days at the beach, and all we can talk about is how much we loved the place we almost didn't stop to eat! And the waitress, Sadie, was a big part of our experience. We didn't remember her name when we left, but with service that friendly, we knew we would find her name in a yelp review. Keep doing what you're doing... We'll be back in town soon, in large part because of Rosemarie's. And yes, we took a picture of the logo on the rug to make sure we don't forget this place.

Yelp
Some big sliders, but would def follow their rec of getting two if hungry. Don't think you can go wrong with any of their sliders.

Yelp
We've had a pause but we're back trying to find the best burger spot in San Diego! There have been several social media posts that place Rosemarie's in the top 3 and we had to come try it for ourselves. Located off the main PB area, the restaurant parking situation is terrible because you'll have to compete for street parking with surfers. If you're trying to sit indoors, the space is a little tight but there's plenty of tables outside. Order first before grabbing one and they'll bring the food out to you. The sliders we tried were really good but it's expensive. You're really paying a premium for some good quality, delicious food and it doesn't help that sliders, in general, are smaller. I wouldn't have been full with just one. The Little Sal was my favorite because of the bacon whiskey sauce and arugula. It's a great mix of sweet and savory. I also liked that their fried chicken sliders use chicken thigh instead so it's juicier. If you're contemplating between the onion rings or fries, I'd go with the rings. This was more comparable to a tempura breading, giving it a smoother outer layer compared to the flaky panko pieces. Overall, I would also rank this in my top 3. If it weren't for the price, they would have a chance as my top burger spot in San Diego. There's so many other sliders to try so I'll be back!

Yelp
Rosemarie's in San Diego has the best burger deal! You can get a 1/4-pound 100% Wagyu burger for under $10. And the fries are just as good! Stop in and say hello to Chef Nick and Chef Jordan.
google avatar

Kirsten H.

Yelp
So yum! These burgers were amazinggggg I love the different flavors and the fact they had veggie options was amazing. Everyone was super nice a friendly and made sure to check in to make sure we were enjoying things.
google avatar

Yelp
The elote fries are to die for! We popped over after getting a tattoo next door and we also got a complimentary beer for that reason. Yes, try the pickle beer! Service was fast and friendly!
google avatar

Brian D.

Yelp
Rosemaries is a cozy little spot off the main drag of PB that has a good selection of sliders to choose from. They recommend two sliders per person but they are about a quarter pound per slider. I think one slider per person and sharing fries was a good amount of food. The rosiemac was loaded and a great bite. The sauce combined with a bunch of cheese and onions brought it all together. The Bombay hot chicken was recommended by the cashier and it was a great second choice. The chicken was crispy and a full bite of sauce and pickled veggies. Finally the elite fries were cooked well and topped with the right amount of seasoning and corn. Just make sure to save some time for parking!
google avatar

Kenneth C.

Yelp
Burger was ok, pricey for the quantity of food imo with delivery down the street for one slider alone was 28.00 bucks. Not sure where the 8.50 slider was but this was what I paid plus delivery it was 28 bucks that's insane for one slider and again it was just down the street.
google avatar

Tammie W.

Yelp
$70+ for 3 sliders, onion rings, a half order of fries, and a soda. The sliders were good and so were the onion rings. The Little Sal was exceptional with the whiskey bacon sauce and confit onions but $9 after tax for a single slider? No thank you. The tables were wobbly and still had number stickers to assemble them in the correct order. Very cheap, uncomfortable, and not thoroughly thought out. This place has potential for tourists, but don't see locals returning when they know they can get a better burger for a fraction of the price elsewhere.
google avatar

Yelp
What a great lunch we happened upon while in San Diego. The food was super yummy, and they were so kind to us. I needed to work for a few minutes during lunch, so they scooted a table over so that our food and my laptop were crowded together on one table. So kind! Highly recommend you give them a try!! :)
google avatar

Yelp
Was so excited to try this place as I have heard nothing but good things! We tried a few different sliders and they were sooo good. The meat was juicy and flavorful and everything came out super hot and fresh! Service was super nice and we didn't wait too long considering how busy the spot was. The inside is small and cozy with a few bigger tables outside as well, would definitely recommend this place to others!
google avatar

Jeff David G.

Yelp
Upscale sliders in a laid back, but refined spot on Mission Boulevard. Plenty of outdoor seating lends itself to being more casual, but I was impressed with the feel they've created on the inside. The menu exudes creativity and we couldn't have asked for a better staff. Playful sliders with all different protein options that were all fantastic. I had the Classic and the Nashville Hot Chicken and was able to taste many others. Before I share how much I enjoyed them all, I want to provide a warning that the Nashville Hot Chicken was no joke. Nothing a little ranch couldn't help with, but it was pretty spicy on its own and was too much for a few in our group. All of the sliders were perfectly cooked, had great flavor, and were just a pleasure to eat. Although delicious, they're all pretty small and the cost adds up quickly if you want to get enough for a meal. Despite the high prices, the unique variety of flavors on many of these sliders undoubtedly warrants a visit.
google avatar

Yelp
Parking was a little tough (but that's always the case near the beach). Rosemarie's is a cute little costal restaurant with amazing burgers. The drink I got was pretty yummy, too! You walk up to order & then they bring it to your table. The waitress we had (once we sat) was good. She checked on our drinks and removed dirty dishes pretty quick. My boyfriend and I ended up ordering more lol Check it out!
google avatar

Jessica R.

Yelp
Honest review here: Overhyped and Overpriced. Best thing ate was a lamb slider and fries. The little Sal was supposed to be Waiygu (however you spell it) but it was dry and chewy. The whisky sauce was sweet and sticky and not complimentary. The Nashville chicken was eh: $9 for a thigh. We also tried the pork belly and it was not good. Fatty. We wouldn't come back. But - try it for yourself.
google avatar

Yelp
I can't remember how I found Rosemarie's but I'm sure glad I did! I rarely get down to PB, but I wanted to try something new and I liked the fact that they are dog friendly and have outdoor seating. Online, it showed you could "Pick 2" or "Pick 3" but now it's just pick what you want! LOL! Inside is a cute little place with some tables inside and a lounge area, so pretty hip! There's a balcony with chairs too! There's also some tables in the front in a small parklet We ordered: The Classic, Little Sal, RosieMac, The Munchies, The Round Up. You could call them sliders but they are more like small burgers, so much better! Each one had it's own unique flavor combination! My fat @$$ ate three: RosieMac, Munchies, Round Up...I was so full because we got fries and onion rings which were both nice and crispy! I washed it all down with a Karl Strauss IPA, but I should've tried one that I wasn't familiar with. Next time! The service is really friendly and that makes a big difference! The two workers smiled and checked in on everyone. Street parking only, but if you head there on a weeknight, parking is pretty easy. If you want to take a nice stroll, park down at the coaster and walk along the boardwalk. I can't wait to come back! Cako Approves!

Yelp
Awesome burger joint in MB. Grab a couple of sliders, mimosa, then stroll to the beach afterwards--name a more perfect SD day. I came here last Wednesday right when they opened & it started to fill up quick. It is a smaller restaurant with a few tables inside & a deck patio to people watch. They also have a larger outdoor seating area on the street. Service was super friendly & attentive. There were so many delicious sliders on the menu that I could not decide so thankfully someone ran down the menu with me. Little Sal: A little Sal for Saleen? I had to haha! This slider was amazing! The burger was super juicy & their bacon whiskey sauce was to die for. Nashville Hot Chicken: This was a bit spicy for me but so worth it. They make their hot sauce in house. Cooked nicely where the chicken was still juicy with the extra crispy outside. Guava Mimosa: I saw their billboard advertising $6 beers & $6 mimosas, why not?! Refreshing, especially with the spice of the Nashville Hot Chicken. They also have Mango Mimosa. There is only street parking available so I would definitely recommend coming earlier in the day & on a weekday versus the weekend where MB is not so chaotic. Fortunately, if you do not mind a little bit of walking, you can find parking in the neighborhoods.

Yelp
I've been hearing about Rose Marie's for a while now as a challenger for the "best burger in San Diego" so I'm glad I finally got to try it. I was not disappointed at all. It's all sliders but they're bigger than most sliders and we tried almost all of them and loved pretty much all of them. The owner (I think) complimented my shirt and gave us a complimentary elite fries which were to die for. The Rosie Mac was probably my favorite which was similar to a way escalated double double from in n out. The inside was very cool and they were playing cool house music classics on a sunshine beautiful day by the beach my friend who was visiting from LA made sure to say "we have to come back next time I'm in town" I loved it and it's definitely in the running for best burger in San Diego
google avatar

Nancy I.

Yelp
Don't let them fool you by calling the burgers sliders because one was perfect for me (when paired with beer and fries, your belly will be full). I appreciate that they support the local SD Breweries with what is on tap. The fries come with magic fairy dust (my name, not theirs) which makes them extra flavorful. While there is no hard liquor license, they have a work around for that which I might need to try on my next visit. The place is full of charm, featuring vintage items from Rosemarie (the owner's grandmother), from her typewriter and rotary phone to old photos on the wall. Other stylistic choices in the interior included a fun neon sign, a comfy couch option, and a tv which was playing a fire when I was there. The fencing around the patio tables provided a place for me to lock my bike up while I ate. Negatives, not worthy of a deduction in the score but worth mentioning include that the patio faces the street rather than the beach or bay, parking is what you'd expect in Mission Beach, and the purple lights in the interior make a horrific blue cast on the photos (not something I want on photos of me or photos of my food).

Yelp
Y'all I went back and added 3 more to my list. Took my wife and another friend. We repeated the elote fries, Rosiemac and the eggplant. Consistent and delicious my wife thought Rosiemac could've been more salty and was impressed by the eggplant and she doesn't like eggplant! New sandwiches tried were Bombay chicken, the Gnar, and Captain Jack. Again not a disappointment in the bunch. Captain Jack - perfectly cooked bacon crumble and balance of flavors with the pickled veggies The Gnar - not usually a fan of warm pineapple but this complemented the teriyaki well, again perfectly fried chicken Bombay Chicken - curry was on point and had just enough heat. Again perfectly fried chicken. Updated list 1) Rosiemac 2) Nashville and Eggplant tied 4) Lil Sal 5) Munchies 6) Captain Jack 7) Bombay Chicken 8) Gnar 9) Round Up 10) Spider

Yelp
This place deserves more than 5 stars. From the food, to the service and the ambiance, everything was 10/10. The restaurant looks like what was an old house that was turned into a restaurant. They had seating indoors and outdoors. Loved the decor and all the photos on the wall. The music is on the loud side, but they definitely had some great hits playing. All the employees were very friendly, the place was packed but they still managed to get our food out pretty fast. Now, onto the food. We tried the Classic and the RosieMac. Both were delicious. That onion confit gave a very great and unique flavor. The burgers were more meant to be like sliders, with slider size buns but a full-size patty. I enjoyed every bite of it. We also had the Spicy Elote fries, and honestly, they really exceeded my expectations. While skimming through the reviews prior to getting there, I noticed that everyone was raving about the burgers, and don't get me wrong, the burgers are great. But those fries are on another level. I can't really explain how good they are. I can just tell you that it's a must-have. I can't wait to go back.

Yelp
Rosemarie's was a great experience, I went on a Tuesday afternoon and there was thankfully no line. Unfortunately parking was a little difficult because it's all street parking but it worked out. The Spicy Elote Fries and Nashville Chicken Slider are humblingly spicy. Apparently it's only cayenne pepper and the flavor is amazing and yet I was left sweating and tingly. Our hostess was very helpful in selecting a beer I went with the Salt and Lime Lager which was complimented with the Tajin rim. Water is self serve and people check up on you throughout your meal. The shop is a cozy little place that reminds you of a cafe within a surf shop. Me and my friend particularly enjoyed sitting on the bar overlooking the street. Also be careful of the small step from the counter after ordering, I almost ate it while carrying two water cups.

Yelp
The hype is real!! It's a busy location. You order at the counter and get a number. they will bring your meal to you. Their burgers are more of a slider style but have double the meat! They have some interesting fries with bunch of toppings.. must try! also really good chicken sandwich!! Service was great! Quick and efficient! quality and taste of the food is all There! price was definitely on the higher side.. but given the location and what you get, make sense.. they have some tables indoors and outdoors.. is a very casual dinning experience!

This is the second time in a week we've stopped for dinner at Rosemarie's burgers. Highly recommend! Service was impeccable, Absolutely delicious food and the great vibes from Sadie and her coworkers could not be duplicated. Wonderful evening (: Will be back soon[=

Yelp
Found this listed on Yelps top 100 places to eat and coincidentally I found myself in San Diego a few days later! After wrapping up a morning playing at the beach we walked right over to Rosemarie's for some lunch. We were the first and only people to arrive that Sunday so I was a little uneasy thinking this could be the wrong place to eat. I always like to look for the crowd - usually means it's a great spot! But within 10-15 minutes of us arriving, the place was lit! Every seat/table inside and outside were occupied. We sat down and had our order taken which was nice but almost everyone else went to the counter to order. Not sure which is the policy but we went with it. The kids loved lounging on the couches, eating and gaming while we grabbed a high-top to eat/drink. We got a big plate of fries which were delicious, I ordered the Little Sal and Round Up. The sizes were perfect, but my only suggestion is if you don't like a lot of sauce, order it on the side. The burgers were drenched it sauce. My husband had the Rosie-Mac which I def had food envy over... it just looked so good!! We ordered the plain cheeseburger for my son and he gobbled it up in no time. I'll def be back!

Yelp
Get past a few things 1) small location 2) messy 3) food comes mixed up so remember what you ordered Having said that, the service is definitely above par, very friendly and courteous, at the time I ate there the hostess had a good number of pick-ups as well but she trioged great, the ambiance above par as well (music, people, deco), the food makes up for any disappointments I may have had; great portions, fresh, tasty, and excellent variety of flavors, this place I would come back too

Yelp
The Little Sal: solid slider, a little sweet, a little savory and very delicious. the Roundup: the perfect bite if you like bbq. The onion ring was crispy and the burger was perfectly juicy. So good! The classic double patty, nice bite, the grilled onions are perfect. Kids plain with bacon, no complaints. Wish I had pictures they were all delicious. Service to-go was quick and easy. Would definitely return and try the chicken sliders.

Yelp
Great Find! We were at Mission Beach with the family and my wife suggested burgers. We came into Rosemarie's and I'm so happy that we did, the food was awesome! I got the Rosie-Mac which was great! Labeled as a "slider" but definitely enough to fill you up. The burger was awesome, and the fries were really good too. My wife got the Round Up and the Little Sal and liked both. The chicken options looked great, but I'll have to wait for next time to give those a try. Awesome spot to try!!

Yelp
After reading the spectacular reviews, we HAD to stop here for dinner. So glad we did! This is a vibey restaurant/bar with lot of unique seating for every type of night out. Whatever you're feeling, Rosemarie's has something for you. Nick, Head Chef, greeted us immediately and we were laughing together in minutes!! A super humble, yet welcoming guy he made us feel right at home! He had fantastic recs for the sliders and made sure we didn't pass on the Spicy Elote Fries, and even threw in some free Diet Cokes since we weren't drinking. We didn't think we'd have enough room for all the food we ordered but it's not like we had a choice because the Elote Fries were freaking bomb and every single slider was mouthwateringly good. We downed everything a little too fast. Our favorites by far were the Nashville Hot Chicken and Rosie's Single both were juicy and bursting with flavor! Hubby said the Nashville Hot Chicken was the best hot chicken sandwich he's ever had. We couldn't stop talking about the food and experience! Thanks Nick for making it memorable.

Yelp
EASY 5/5 - there's a reason Rosemarie's burgers were deemed San Diego's Best Sliders Truly, sliders should be in quotes because they are HUGE. I got the Rosiemac and my boyfriend got the Eggplant, Shrimp, and Classic sliders. We also ordered a side of their super delicious fries. I don't know what sauce came with the fries, but what I do know is that I'm obsessed with it and ready to go back for seconds. Everything here is delicious. And to top it all of-we had the pleasure of meeting Chef Nick, who is the NICEST guy and is clearly a wizard in the kitchen. I highly recommend checking this place out!

Yelp
This review is strictly speaking for the customer service. We had a huge cousins (in-laws) trip to SD this past weekend so we rented vrbo's across the street from this location. We checked out this burger joint since it was literally across the street. We all placed our orders and brought it back to our place and realized one slider was missing as we were eating. My cousin in law went back to get the missing slider and they gave us a freaking entire bottle of brand new Sauvignon blanc for the inconvenience. I was thoroughly impressed with this gesture because especially with the economy nowadays other restaurants in general aren't as detail oriented to customer service. The entire fam was so pleased and it made us forget that they forgot to include the slider in the first place! Thanks guys!

Yelp
DELICIOUS ! So many choices. We loved everything! I love having a variety and this place has it. But the OG's are delicious and you don't have to try other things if you are OG. Here is what we had Me: Classic, Captain Jack, Eggplant ( all amazing) Teen 1&2: 2 Classic, 1 Nashville (Nashville was very appropriately hot- they loved it but they can handle super hot) Hubby: 1 Classic, 2 Kids Classic (He's the OG) Classic Fries x2 to share because they were so good! Ranch is great and homemade. It's a tiny place but i wish we had something like this near us! I want to try more like the Gnar and Bombay. Our waitress was sweet. Oh and they have wine and good beer on tap!

Yelp
Was walking around Mission Beach and decided to check this cute little restaurant out! They have outdoor and indoor seating and their staff are extremely nice. I thought the food was a bit overpriced for what it's worth. Our sliders were good except for The Little Sal. The BBQ sauce was too overpowering with whisky and tasted like straight up alcohol. Their fries were yummy though.

Yelp
The burgers the fries everything was just fabulous. I would have to come 4 or 5 more times just the get through all the things I wanted to try. Order at the counter and they bring it to you. The seating in the road is a little scary though. Love the outdoor on the curb feel. Absolutely a must try!

Yelp
Popped in here after looking on Google maps / Yelp and will 100% come back every time I'm back in SD! Patties were cooked perfectly and had so much flavor. We got the little Sal and classic (bottom 2) and the little munchies and luau (top 2). 2 per person is the appropriate amounti if you're hungry but not starving. Staff was so nice from the moment we walked in and the restaurant itself is clean and spacious.

Yelp
One of our friends said he heard this was rated one of the best burger spots in San Diego, so we had to come try and see for ourselves! - PARKING - Hope you get lucky the day you come, it's only street parking and there's only one row on each side of the street! Be mindful of any time constraints where you end up parking! - SERVICE/ENVIRONMENT - Really interesting seating arrangement inside, almost like it's a cafe set up with couches and small high tables. We were a group of 5 and had to squeeze onto 3 high tables and although it wasn't the comfiest, we made it work. There's a few tables outside, but the umbrellas didn't cover the seating from the sun enough. I wouldn't recommend coming with a large group unless you're willing to separate or squeeze in tight spots! After we ordered, it took no more than 15 minutes to get our food. - FOOD - Onion Rings: One of the best Onion Rings I've had! Really nice flavoring, and the ranch was delicious too. Super crispy and crunchy, and not too oily. Little Sal: Loved the mix of sweet and savory on this, and loved the sauces and flavoring of it all! Patty itself was nice and juicy too! Rosiemac: I think I enjoyed the combination of ingredients and flavoring on this more than the Little Sal, but just slightly so! Again, both pattys here were moist and juicy! - OVERALL - I wish this wasn't so far removed, and that the parking is such a hassle. If this was closer to us or at least had a dedicated lot, I would be tempted to come back more often!
