I rarely leave reviews, but this experience was beyond unacceptable. We spent over $500 at this restaurant and were treated like we didn’t exist. Not once did a single staff member come to our table voluntarily. No check-ins. No plate clearing. No napkin removal. Nothing. Our table sat covered in finished dishes for most of the night. I asked twice — clearly and politely — for the dirty plates to be removed. Both times the waiters nodded and walked away, only to completely ignore the request. Instead, they continued walking past our table, heading back to the kitchen laughing and talking, while we sat surrounded by a mess. What made the situation impossible to ignore was the obvious difference in treatment. Every couple of minutes, staff were at other tables providing attentive service — clearing plates immediately, checking in, smiling, engaging. Meanwhile, we couldn’t get basic service even after asking. The contrast was so consistent and so clear that it honestly felt discriminatory. After leaving, I looked at other reviews — and I was shocked to see similar complaints about the same kind of treatment. That says a lot. As for the food, it was nowhere near worth the price. Bland, poorly prepared, and completely underwhelming for a $500 bill. High prices mean nothing when the service and quality are this low. This was, without exaggeration, one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. I will absolutely make sure people know about this place. No one should spend that kind of money to feel ignored and unwelcome.

This is our go-to spot for a quick and authentic pho and Chinese dining experience. The food is consistently good, especially their beef dishes and fried rice, which are some of the best we’ve had in this category. Everything comes out hot, flavorful, and well prepared. Service is fast and efficient, making it a great choice whether you’re dining solo, with family, or in a larger group. The servers are attentive and friendly without being intrusive, which adds to the overall pleasant experience. Prices are very reasonable for the quality and portion sizes, making it an easy place to return to again and again. While it’s more about great food and efficiency than ambiance, it delivers exactly what it promises. A solid, reliable spot when you’re craving comfort food done right.

Other tables were being checked on every couple of minutes, while we couldn’t even get someone to acknowledge us. The uneven treatment was impossible to overlook and felt discriminatory. After reading similar reviews from others, it’s clear this is a pattern. The food was mediocre at best and nowhere near worth the price. This was one of the worst $500 dining experiences I’ve ever had.

The food is average. I ordered the hot and sour fish, beef stir-fry noodle, and tofu carousel. The fish is stale (i.e., not fresh). The beef is mostly noodles. The tofu carousel is acceptable. The service is much better than I had expected for this genre of Chinese restaurants - they tried to seat everyone according to their queue #, the filled the teapot when it is empty, they provide sufficient # of boxes to being out leftovers. For those who are looking for Teochew dishes, this restaurant is not it even though they have advertised it as so.

This is an amazing chinese restaurant! I would say as good as chinese restaurants in new york city chinatown. The duck was amazing. The beef chow fun was delicious. And the shrimp fried rice was awesome.I highly recommend it!

The service was not good—staff were inattentive, slow to respond, and basic requests were overlooked. Our table remained cluttered for most of the meal, which made the experience uncomfortable. The food was also underwhelming. Several dishes lacked quality, and the lobster was served with shells that were partially empty, which is unacceptable at this price point. To make matters worse, there was no option to choose a tip. A $65 gratuity was automatically added to the bill, despite the poor service we received. Gratuity should reflect the level of service, not be forced—especially when expectations are not met. For a restaurant charging premium prices, this experience fell far short. We would not return and do not recommend this place.

The food was not worth the price, and the service was even worse. Our table was overcrowded with unnecessary dishes, and despite repeatedly asking staff to clear the table, we were ignored. Because the table was never cleared, it caused me to spill my newly served beer, and no replacement offered. It’s just a beer, any decent establishment would have replaced it. What made the experience especially disturbing was the clear difference in treatment. There were 4–5 employees consistently checking in on Chinese customers, while our table was repeatedly ignored. We genuinely felt singled out and discriminated against, which made the entire experience uncomfortable and upsetting. For a restaurant charging premium prices, this level of neglect and unequal treatment is unacceptable. We will not be returning and do not recommend this place.
