"Find velvety cappuccinos and creamy cups of chai at Jadu, a Jamaica Plain newcomer that drew crowds of cafegoers from the instant it opened last December. Owned by Maya Mukhopadhaya, Jadu — which means “magic” in Hindi — serves up Counter Culture coffee, masala chai from Boston-based Madhrasi Chai, and a rotating cast of fun seasonal drinks like a savory-sweet rosemary honey cortado and a cardamom and clove latte. On the food side, there’s a full breakfast and lunch menu with sandwiches, bowls, and toasts to snack on, plus pastries supplied by nearby nut-free bakery Lavender Bee Baking Co." - Erika Adams
