The 24 Essential Thai Restaurants in Los Angeles

"Panvimarn Thai Cuisine has been Long Beach’s go-to for Thai specialties for the past decade. The bustling restaurant is home to big groups, a lively bar scene, and dishes like spicy and fried soft shell crab salad, grilled meats, and one beguilingly fiery sauteed eggplant." - Kat Thompson

19 Delicious Salads to Try in Los Angeles | Eater LA

"While the papaya salad may be the first thing to catch the eye at Long Beach’s Panvimarn, opt for the spicy soft-shell crab salad instead. Freshly fried soft-shell crab is placed on top of a bed of grape tomatoes and green and red apples, before being dressed with herbs. It’s a centerpiece salad that stands out on the menu of classic Thai noodle and rice dishes." - Rebecca Roland

A longstanding East Long Beach favorite with generous portions, spicy salads, and nine curries. Frequently listed by Eater LA and praised by local critics; great for groups without sacrificing quality.

Food was not good. This was the 5th time and usually always good and service excellent. Not sure what happened. Soup was undercooked, mushrooms almost raw and very sour. Satay was ok. Service was atrocious. One star at best. No water refills. Staff was on their phones. One was on speaker phone. We didn’t get plates for the food. They didn’t clear the table of earlier dishes. They forgot we weee there to clear and bring the check. And we were downstairs, 15 ft away. Servers seemed annoyed. Bizarre.

Google
My husband always finds the best places to eat. We had lunch at the Thai place and it was super delicious. The ambiance was great, the food was delicious and the service was good too. Stop by and eat some delicious Thai cuisine.

Google
Got to try this spot for the first time yesterday and it was amazing. Got their Thai iced green tea, one of the best I’ve had and many other food options. My favorite was definitely the panvimarn fried rice, panvimarn ribs and their Panang curry. The proteins for the pad Thai, and pad kee mao was also super tender and flavorful whether it was pork or chicken. Every dish was fantastic overall. They also give a ton of papaya salad. Super filling, will definitely come back!

Google
Super cool interior, servers are chill and friendly. I'm a sucker for roast duck and the heavenly roasted duck definitely hit the spot. Delicious sauce and crispy skin, and surprisingly great value for the amount of food you're getting (depending on market price).

Google
I would have given all 5 stars! The lady who took my order was so nice and accommodating she really made me feel welcome. Unfortunately, the guy who handed me my food wasn’t friendly at all and didn’t even say thank you, which was a little disappointing. That said, the food was excellent! This was my second time going. The first time, I dined in on a Friday night the atmosphere was lively, the music was great, and the service was amazing. Both times, the food was absolutely delicious. Despite the small hiccup in service this time, I’ll definitely keep coming back. I highly recommend this place!

Google
I googled and thought this restaurant sounded good for a friend birthday celebration. The food was ok overall but not as good as I anticipated... some dishes were not as flavorful as they should. For example, Pad see ew didn't give me the smoky and depth satisfying flavors ... Chicken Satay was bland as well as other appetizers. The ribs were the most bland, no smoky or charred and spiced flavors. They were more like boiled and mopped with a red sauce then baked in oven... I never has a Laab before so I can't give a feedback other than pretty tangy. The hot stuff stirfry was good but nothing unique or win me over. Similarly with the Ruby curry. Btw, any non-starch dishes dont come automatically with a serving of steamed rice. It's $3.00 extra per serving. I wonder if anyone can eat a Ruby curry without rice or bread... 🤔 The cocktails were pretty good. The service was very good.

Google
We absolutely love this place. Food is so fresh and flavorful !! Our server Miles absolutely was phenomenal with his recommendations. We will be going again and again to this place.

Google
Panviman Thai Cuisine is a beautiful restaurant. The Thai spaghetti with Green Curry is pretty good. The chicken sate skewers were flavorful and juicy. The star of the lunch was the Mango Sticky Rice. The rice has a slight bite and chewiness to it with lots of sweet coconut syrup. The customer service is good and friendly.

Yelp
Came here on a Wednesday evening to meet my friend for dinner. Three orders, green curry, pet Thai, and Thai basil eggplant with chicken. The food was excellent. There wasn't one thing I didn't enjoy because sometimes people can make the pad Thai a little tangy. Service was good. The place is vibrant and prettt. Decor is nice.

Yelp
It was fabulous! I wrote a loooong review and apparently it got lost? Ugh. Good service, good atmosphere, delicious food, unique cocktails, but a bit spendy.

Yelp
Went to this place for take-out during the weekday for their lunch special and it was okay. We got the salmon lunch special and the thai rib special. The food was not really "thai" food in my opinion but granted we did get the lunch specials. The flavors were a bit lacking for both the salmon and the thai ribs. I didn't really enjoy much of it but I guess you get what you pay for. I don't think I'll come back but maybe if I do I may try to dine in and try their thai dishes and maybe it will change my mind. But for what I paid, I think you can get better thai food like Chaba Thai in Cypress which is better in my opinion for the price and taste.

Yelp
I've been coming here for years and it's always been one of my go-to spots for Thai food. My all-time favorite dish is the Angel Wings--crispy chicken wings stuffed with ground pork, noodles, and veggies (kind of like an egg roll filling). They're packed with flavor and the cool cucumber sauce on the side balances it perfectly. Other dishes I really enjoy here are the papaya salad, pad thai, pad see ew, and crab fried rice. Most of the time, the food is spot-on, but tonight the pad see ew was noticeably saltier than usual, which was a little disappointing. The service is consistently good, and the staff is always friendly and attentive. Just a heads-up--this place gets packed during dinner hours, so expect a wait if you're dining in. Overall, still one of my favorite spots and worth the visit, especially if you've never tried those Angel Wings!

Yelp
Friend wanted Thai. Stopped in for a quick bite. Parking in the back is tight but we were able to find parking. Sat at the bar and the waitress assisted us after making her rounds. Ordered: Jungle Noodle (not spicy) Chicken pad Thai (please add mild spice and they accidentally forgot it) Chicken skewers (peanut sauce was bland) Moneybags (were FIYA ) Lychee fruit drink (female bar tender appeared from no where began making the drinks and squeezing fruit and I notice her nails were dirty, and the juice was dripping from here nails into my drink (scary!) Brüt champagne (pour straight into flit versus tilting glass and it fizzed all over in front of the manager although half of the drink was gone.. I didn't bother to say anything) Game was on and it wasn't packed. Our server was cool.

Yelp
It is always a fabulous experience dining here. I would just like to give a shout-out to the bartender the night of Aug 14 2025 -- Panvimarn always makes the best drinks and this topped it. I believe we had the Cucumber Gimlet and the Panvimarn Classic. Superb and perfect drinks for hot weather. Plenty of good parking in the back, two levels, and the best wait staff! Cheers

Yelp
Came here for lunch and got seated right away. This place is a hidden gem! The food was delicious and the place was spotless. The service is very quick and we got our food fast as well. I would recommend the pad Thai, it was out of this world. Definitely coming back to try some of their other dishes
google avatar

David G.

Yelp
Was recommended this place by a friend and although it was a bit pricey for thai food it was definitely delicious. I'd say that is was well worth it had a variety of plates to try. We did the appetizer platter. Papaya salad. Ruby curry. Spicy noodle. The ruby curry was alright. But everything else was very tasty. Server was extremely nice. Definitely looking forward to coming back.

Yelp
Hidden Gem. This is now my 3rd time and still yelping for it is hard cuz i cant spell the Parnvimarn portion. Easier to zoom in on the Bellflower carson corner and search for Thai. Roast Duck Noodle Soup $18.75 - Super rich yet light broth was surprising. Lots of noodles, normally not a fan of rice noodles, but these soup noodles really were picking up the broth flavor. Wouldve like more bean sprouts and cilantro tho. It was like heavily noodles and soup, and like 2-3 slices of duck and 3 more duck bone shards. Taste is great. Expensive tho for what youre getting imo. Was expensive before all the foodflation and its insane still. This was a reason i booked a flight to Thailand, similar dish over there was like converted around $6-8, just ignore the cost of a flight and hotel. Warning - this place doesnt include rice with curry dishes which is around $20-30 for the curry itself. You have to separately pay $3 for the rice. Im not sure who eats curry without rice or a carb of some sort? Like in my head the default across cuisines is rice. Fancy fusion japanese place maybe give u noodles instead. But here charging separate for the rice is such a nickel n dime its off putting. Which is a shame cuz their duck curry has been delightful (havent found another place quite like this) The parking lot entrance is along Carson side. If going south on Bellflower, then right at Carson, and its the immediate opening on your right into a super tiny lot. Interior is spacious, dark, a little too much AC. Service was ok, not really memorable. Had to ask twice to get a lemon wedge. We came in for lunch so there was like 3-4 parties only. Seemed like a lot of staff hanging around chilling.

Yelp
This restaurant can be a 5 star but I'm saving it for another visit. Reason is food was tasty but service was not too good. Today may have been a bad day being that it's Mother's Day so I'll be understanding. Service was so slow!!! We got our noodles and then waited another 15 minutes or more for the rest of our food. I had to flag the girl for water, food, and bill. So that could definitely improve. This place is lovely though! I will give it another shot!

Yelp
Many vegetarian options. Service was good and I really like the inside of the restaurant. Beautiful Buddha . Ordered a vegetarian ruby curry with extra protein tofu, while boyfriend ordered a the pad Thai special with extra protein tofu and we ordered an appetizer- the Bellflower Boulevard. We will be back.

Yelp
Panvimarn has excellent Thai food on the spicy side. If you don't like spicy I recommend the moneybags appetizer & soups like Won Ton . It comes with everything shrimp chicken pork I think very tasty. I also get rice. Other dishes may be wonderful too but most way too spicy for my taste. The place itself is very beautiful. Love the cleanliness & beautiful far east decor. I had lunch on a weekday & it had customers but not too busy.

Yelp
Excellent Thai place with nice decorations. Pad see yew was the most impressive dish to me, very different to other Thai place. I also like the Papaya Shirmp Salad Also ordered Tom Yum soup and it was mild sweet and sour, very refreshing taste

Yelp
This is my go to spot for delicious and amazing Thai food. I love this place! It has a nice bar and the ambiance is great. Great place for date night. My sister and I need a night out and we ordered the appetizer tray, which was delicious, the nutty chicken and the most delicious spinach. Yes, we had cocktails, she had a Cosmo and I had a Dragon Martini. The service was great, the staff were friendly, polite, they stay on top of everything. Highly recommended!

Vincent ..

Yelp
I LOVE this place! Their pineapple fried rice is the best and my favorite I've had so far in Los Angeles. Their chicken satay is great. The special Pad Thai, the one with the spice, is awesome. They had cashew nut chicken, but it was fried and had a sweet and tangy sauce, similar to an orange chicken sauce. Their Thai tea is also creamier, sweeter, and a bit different from most other spots. Service is awesome! The staff is always so chill. They remembered our faces after coming here a few times. Attention to detail and great memory! Always on their round and check-ins. I've never had to flag them down for a water refill. The restaurant itself is very laid back. Huge chandelier and a bar area, a couple of TVs with sports or news on. Very decent cocktails too! This spot also introduced me to my new favorite sake. Try the flights! Highly recommend this spot! Give them your business so they can stay in business, thrive, and maybe even expand!

Yelp
A little hole in the wall place from the outside looks unassuming. When you enter, the decor transports you to a fancy restaurant. The only complaint is the seating areas. Food is excellent, but be careful about heat levels when ordering spicy. Medium spicy was more than medium. We ordered the shrimp curry, and the Korean BBQ beef (yes, I know it isn't Thai). Appetizers of money bags which are my favorite. Service is a little slow, but acceptable.
google avatar

Yelp
This spot is so delicious! Very friendly and clean restaurant. Anything you order you will Enjoy. My favorite is their spicy shrimp salad and def get their combo appetizers
google avatar

Allyssa C.

Yelp
We ordered take out and they forgot to include utensils. We were planning to go eat on the beach but were disappointed to see that we didn't have anything to eat with. It was really annoying having to find a place to get spoons and forks when we were expecting our order to have them. We ordered the duck soup. The broth was a bit salty, but came with a good amount of meat and vegetables. I got the spicy jungle noodles. It was pretty good. I like the different flavors and the portion was a decent size We also got Thai teas that were 70% ice, they were also super sweet. When we picked up the food, the staff ignored us and also seemed to be hiding in the kitchen. The restaurant also seemed pretty dark, but there were a couple people eating inside

Yelp
I have been craving Thai food and Panmivarn did not disappoint. It has been some time since we've been here and the food is just as good as I remember it! We couldn't decide on just one appetizer so we chose to go with the sampler. A mix of satay (beef or chicken) spring rolls, shrimp wrapped in wonton wrappers, money bags, and fried wontons all with various sauces to accompany them. Each bite was a little bit of heaven! For our mains my wife got the Thai steak which was absolutely delicious, tender and super flavorful. For me it was the crispy roast duck with a tamarind sauce. My only complaint...I wish there was a side of sauce to pour over the duck it was that good! We also shared some of the Panmivarn fried rice with pork which was super flavorful and one of those dishes with a kicke that had more of a kick the more you ate, it was so good. I washed mine down with their lemongrass iced tea which I wish I could buy by the gallon! As for service. The service was good. The staff was very attentive and seemed to work as a team so there wasn't just one person handling the table. Drinks were kept filled and the staff was very friendly but did allow us time to actually enjoy our meals, we never felt rushed. The am ience is definitely very modern and the lighting is a bit dark. I can see the restaurant getting loud if there were a lot of people but we never had an issue hearing one another and the noise was not overwhelming. I highly recommend trying this place not just for the dishes a over but for their classic Thai dishes as well.

Yelp
Great tasting Thai Food. Everything I've had so far with the exception of one thing has been excellent. Bursting flavors. The spice level is not overwhelming. Staff is friendly. Plenty of space inside. They have a bar. Appetizers: Moneybag & Westside Wontons are both stuffed with chicken and shrimp. Although they seem to be the exact same thing they're made a little differently. Both were amazing. Great tasting. Perfect app to start with. I did not order these two on the same day. Highly recommend! Spicy Jungle Noodles was a 10/10. I have never tasted such a fantastic noodle dish. This is hands down my new favorite Thai dish. They aren't kidding about the exotic Thai spices. All the veggies pair well with the entire dish. The perfect amount of spice level. The noodles melted in your mouth. The amount of protein on this dish was crazy. I went with beef. The beef was tender and was seasoned perfectly. The Golden Curry was a 10/10. Loved their recipe. The spices and spiciness of this dish was on point. The chicken was moist and packed with flavor. Potato's were soft. Highly recommend. Pad Thai was a 10/10. Great tasting. Flavors were outstanding. Veggies and noodles were cooked to perfection. One of the best I've ever had. My least favorite dish: The spicy eggplant. Several reasons. Eggplant was cold. Veggies to Protein ratio was overwhelming. It was bland. No flavors really came through on this one for me. I was bummed because I truly love eating this dish.

Yelp
I've been coming to Panvimarn in Long Beach for almost 15 years, and it's still my go-to Thai spot. The food has been consistently excellent since the first time I walked through the door back in 2010ish. My absolute favorites are the ribs (tender and flavorful every single time), the crispy and addictive money bags, their perfectly balanced pad thai, and the peppered fish--which is hands-down one of the best fish dishes I've ever had. Honestly, I've tried so many items on the menu and have never been disappointed. The quality is always top-notch, the flavors are spot-on, and the consistency keeps me coming back year after year.

Livier A.

Yelp
The service was absolutely amazing as soon as we got there ! We were seated and they were checking to see if everything was okay constantly ! The food was delicious my husband was trying Thai food for the first time and he definitely said he wanted to come back ! The prices are accessible! And worth every penny!
google avatar

Nick M.

Yelp
Good service but everything was overly sweet and not authentic tasting. A lot of dishes named the American name instead of the Thai name. Overpriced and average tbh.
google avatar

Hannah Attika S.

Yelp
Came here for lunch on a Friday afternoon w/o a reservation. Waited for a table for about 20-30 minutes. We're a big party, so they had to wait for one of their larger tables to clear up which was understandable. The resto itself was clean and well kept but the service water looked questionable and the drinking glass still had some food stains. Service was excellent! A special mention to Ethan, our server, he was EXCEPTIONAL! He kept checking on us to see if we were still doing okay. We told him we were celebrating my MIL's birthday and he gave us complimentary ice cream plus they sang her happy birthday! Food was so bomb. Everyone loved the Moneybags, we had to order another plate! The pineapple fried rice was delicious, as well as the pad thai. The thai/green tea and thai iced coffee were bomb too! Food came out pretty fast after we placed our order. Big portions, i'd say a plate is enough for 2-3 people so their prices are reasonable as well. Overall, we were very delighted with our experience here and we're definitely coming back. :)
google avatar

Elizabeth P.

Yelp
We tried going to another Thai spot but it was booked so we ended up here. It was a bad call. We had to wait for a table outside in the cold (heat lamps were not turned on around 8pm). There was no line. We had to order sides of rice ($3 each for a scoop) to go with our entrees. The moneybag wontons is a fun idea but the filling was super salty. The ribs were meh. The green curry in medium was good spicy but the undercooked spongy eggplant threw me off. The shrimp was hidden under the massive quantity of broccoli. Definitely not worth $22+. The pad Thai with beef was the best. Service was good so tipped well.
google avatar

Angelica L.

Yelp
I haven't been to Panvimarn since 2020, and from my memory it was an incredible restaurant. I'm happy to say that the restaurant has not lost its touch and is still phenomenal! With the plethora of thai food options in orange county/ long beach, Panvimarn definitely stands out. Their portions are bigger than other popular thai restaurants (like Hanuman, Manaao), and to me the quality is just as high for the dishes they serve. Panvimarn is excellent value and will surely leave you satisfied. Pad thai: 5/5. SO flavorful, and the portion is huge. They give a lot of chicken! crab fried rice: 5/5. this came with soft shell crab too which i wasn't expecting! so much flavor bursting from this as well, and the sauce it came added a wonderful acidity. I will definitely be back!
google avatar

Danny Y.

Yelp
The food here is pretty good. Better than your typical Thai restaurant. The dishes are presented beautifully and the flavors are salty, sweet, and sour; as you'd expect from a thai place. The decor is nice and the neon LED signs give a nice street food style ambiance. I liked the thai green tea but I do have a bit of a sweet tooth. Service was great, food was great, ambiance is great. I'd recommend for a casual dinner.
google avatar

Jimmy S.

Yelp
This place is pretty great. Nice sit down restaurant. They do ask for reservations, so I'd opt for that to be safe. The service was very attentive to our needs and our food came out at a reasonable time. They have a nice Asian centric cocktail list that I'd love to try next time. We got the softshell crab curry, green curry with pork, and Thai style baby ribs as the appetizer. It was all really good. The baby ribs were seasoned and marinated well. The green curry was decently spicy and delicious with the pork and quail eggs inside of it. The softshell crab curry was the best dish of them all! The crab was crunch and soft and the curry sauce with all the spices made it very tasty. I would come back here to try the other items like jungle noodles.
google avatar

JJ J.

Yelp
Nutty chicken, Panvimarn ribs (not baby back), pad thai, and white rice... was SO good. The sauce that comes with the ribs is slightly spicy and yummy. Hit the spot!
google avatar

Sage S.

Yelp
Cute atmosphere. Service was friendly and not slow. I got the pad Thai and we shared the pineapple fried rice. These were tasty. We also got some drinks which were nice.

Philipda M.

Yelp
Food here used to be good, not anymore. Pad see-ew was so sweet, it could have been eaten as a dessert! The egg in there was kinda slimy. It was not a good stir fried noodle. No, I am not going to waste my money here again. ST Noodle down the street is better. The waitress was attentive, no complaint there.
google avatar

Tash M.

Yelp
It's been a while since I last visited, and I went in with high hopes! I cannot fathom what happened...I ordered pad Thai special, which was designated as spicy, and I additionally asked our nice server to make sure my dish was "Thai spicy". She confirmed a few times if that's indeed what I wanted, and I vigorously answered in the affirmative. The noodles were cooked well, with a nice assortment of veggies and peanut garnish, but it was about as spicy as infant formula. And the fact that I couldn't achieve my desired level of spicy at a Thai restaurant is a bit unforgivable. It wasn't an unreasonable request- kind of like asking for a lemon to be sour. But my friend enjoyed his bbq pork and my Thai old fashioned was good. I'm going to go drown my sorrows in a large bottle of hot sauce
google avatar

Jennifer B.

Yelp
Surprisingly spacious place. Love the sticky rice. Service was also good. Will come back.
google avatar

Jay P.

Yelp
Good food, main dishes a bit on the sweet side The bellflower Blvd needs different name, since one has shrimp and the other doesnt. Really good, maybe give another go in the future but not for a while
google avatar

Amy X.

Yelp
This is my go to Thai place in the Lakewood area - I usually order to go and get either the pad sew ew or the pad Thai and papaya salad. It's always consistent and so good! This time my family ate at the restaurant so I was able to try different items from the menu. We ordered the sweet and sour pork, roast duck noodle soup, Tom yum soup, and the spring rolls. They were all very delicious however my go to is still the pad Thai! This place is very spacious and we usually do not have to wait long. There's lots of parking too which is a plus!
google avatar

Maggie H.

Yelp
Some generous friends of ours took my husband and me here for our belated birthdays, and everything was delicious! We ordered the crispy fish and mango salad (heads up, this was delicious but I wouldn't call this a salad lol), filet mignon panang curry (probably our favorite - it's a little spicy but extremely tender and flavorful), golden curry (yummy but chicken was a little dry), and pad see ew (solid). Would come here again for the filet mignon curry!
google avatar

Kyle S.

Yelp
I came in here with my wife for dinner we got the Pad Thai and the cashew chicken. Both dishes were very good and I think I would give them 8/10. The restaurant was really well staffed and the service was really good. When you go into the restaurant you will be surprised how big the restaurant is. The inside is pretty big and has a whole second floor. The vibe is cool and has a really chill laid back vibe. I will definitely return.
google avatar

Monica R.

Yelp
Always a great spot for dinner. The restaurant is nice and large, lots of seating. Usually pretty packed, but came on a Thursday night and it wasn't too bad. The stuffed chicken was so crispy and flavorful. The BBQ pork was perfectly seasoned and came with a good dipping sauce. The noodles had lots of flavor and plenty of beef. The scallops were crispy but mostly bread. The sauce they were in was also packed with flavor. The service was good and the food came out pretty quickly.
google avatar

Vicky C.

Yelp
The ratings are high on here, and the food looks good in pictures, but it's far too Americanized. Nutty Chicken: 2/5 Tasted very similar to Panda Express orange chicken--overly sweet with no balance in flavor. Pad Thai (Special Sauce): 2/5 Extremely sweet, more like an Americanized chop suey thrown together than authentic Pad Thai. Appetizer Delight: 3/5 The fried items were nicely crunchy and not too salty, but the glaze was overwhelmingly sweet. The beef skewer was dry and disappointing. Service: 3/5 The waiter forgot about us, even though we were seated right in front. Parking Street parking is free, which is convenient. Ambiance Big bar and dark.
google avatar

Philippe W.

Yelp
Each time I come to Southern California I stop here at least for lunch. They have one of the best Pad Thai I have ever had - they even put their own twist on it adding sweet crunchy peppers. Just pleasing and delicious. All of this topped with mango rice. Lots of exotics choices. And on top they are very people oriented, welcoming and caring for their guest. Definitely will continue coming back!!!
google avatar

Vince O.

Yelp
We were disappointed with the wonton soup. The wonton wrapper was gray in color, tough, dry and rubbery. The sticky rice was not arrange nicely and it looked unappetizing. We were given a very small portion. Prices on website need to be updated. The food service was great! The ambiance feel inviting, cozy, elegant and lively.
google avatar

Rhonda F.

Yelp
My very best friend let me select any restaurant to get treated on my birthday, I selected Panvimarn Thai Cuisine and we were not disappointed. We ordered a number of chicken
google avatar

Diandra S.

Yelp
We came here for my mom's birthday! She LOVES thai food so her expectations were high. I live close from here but never got the chance to come. So glad we came! It was empty at that time and we didnt have to wait for a table. Everything we ordered was soooo good and fresh! The money bags were my fave! Never had something like that before. They even sang happy birthday to my mom and gave her ice cream. The drinks like thai tea, green thai tea, and thai coffee were all soo refreshing!
google avatar

Brenda J.

Yelp
My auntie told me about this place and how good the drinks were and she did not lie. The drinks are fire. The food comes out. The service is excellent. We started with an appetizer that had a lot to try. It was filled with so many flavors and the sauces were so good. The main dishes came out. And I did feel like they could have give us a bit more noodles, but it was still good.

Yelp
I hadn't visited Panvimarn in 6 years, so when my group at work decided to go here for a lunch outing, I knew we'd be in for a good meal, unlike the last place we went to where Murphy's Law was pestering us from multiple angles. The day before, we had decided on our entrees and placed our orders while making a reservation for noon the next day. On a previous visit, most of my then groupmates selected the BBQ Chicken and Ribs Lunch Special, and I couldn't forget the number of times I kept hearing a server say, "BBQ Chicken and Lips" instead. Other than the Salmon Teriyaki n Pineapple Fried Rice, which I tried back then, that was the only other lunch special that piqued my interest, so it was a no-brainer to go with that. Plus, I wanted to see if I'd hear the word "lips" again lol. To my surprise, I was the only one in my group who ordered that while nearly half the others went with the Pad See-Ew, which is under the Oodles of Noodles part of the menu. This may have caused some bad timing on when the dishes came out, even with a reservation, however. Let me explain. I mentioned earlier we had our reservation at noon. We arrived over 5 minutes early, but the first dishes didn't come out until a quarter after noon. These first dishes were mostly the Pad See-Ew, but my BBQ Chicken and Ribs were nowhere to be found. As a matter of fact, *all* the noodle dishes came out first, but none of the non-noodle dishes arrived until about 10 minutes later. This caused a little discomfort because my groupmates who ordered the noodle dishes were waiting until the rest of us got our dishes before commencing the feast. Once I got my BBQ Chicken and Ribs, which didn't come with a mention of "lips", the others got their dishes as well, and we started to feast! I probably had the largest plate since it contained two different kinds of meat, a mound of steamed jasmine rice, and a nice helping of fresh mixed spring salad. I didn't realize until later that evening I could have subbed the jasmine rice for natural brown rice, which I would have preferred. Whoops, but the jasmine rice was still good, absorbing the excess sauces like a sponge. I'm glad I got my meal last because both of the meats were pretty tender and juicy. Even the ribs were fall off the bone tender, and I appreciated that, though gnawing through bone after bone was such an ordeal that by the time some groupmates finished their main courses, I was only halfway done with mine! With how much I enjoyed the BBQ Chicken and Ribs, I understood why it was such a popular choice on my first visit, especially since it was much less expensive back then compared to now. It also came with two sauces, one kind of like an orange duck sauce, and the other a much spicier sauce with hints of spicy peppers that pack a real punch! I'm guessing they were serrano peppers, but I didn't bother to ask. Some groupmates asked for takeout boxes, but I managed to finish my plate without a problem. Shortly after, our first dessert arrived. We shared the Cookies & Cream Gelato Cake, with a cherry on top of each slice. The thinner part of the cake was easy to cut, but when I tried to cut the thicker part with my spoon, it proved to be immensely difficult! I wish we had knives to help with this, but all we were given were spoons. The cake was pretty good, but not as sweet or flavorful as an Oreo milkshake, which I'd inhale in a heartbeat. We also got to try the Mango Sticky Rice, a seasonal dessert. I could have cared less for sticky rice having already had rice in my main course, but the mango was quite good, though it was not the perfect ripeness. Either it was on the verge of being overripe, or it was just a smidge short of ripe. It was good to try, but I wouldn't order it again. I suppose it comes down to acquired taste here. Service was alright, but nothing out of the ordinary. They were punctual at removing used plates on our tables, but I can't be certain they appreciated our patronage that much. Maybe they were tired from going up and down the stairs so much (we were on the second floor). Also, I wish they were better on timing of when the dishes came out. 10 minutes isn't too bad, but when you consider it was between 15 and 25 minutes past our reservation when we had already placed our orders beforehand, that's a different story. We were there for over an hour, so definitely don't expect a short lunch break here. Overall, still a solid place for Thai, and I'd definitely be looking forward to trying a noodle dish on a future visit. Everyone else seemed to enjoy their dishes, but one of them who ordered a Pad See-Ew mentioned he tasted some egg shells in his dish. Hopefully that was just a one-off, which I'm willing to say it was considering how delicious their food has been of all the times I've dined there.

Yelp
Came on a weekday around 5pm so there was no wait. Ordered pad thai with chicken, and golden curry with chicken + steamed rice on the side. Everything was delicious. The pad thai had a good amount of sauce, and the golden curry was comforting with a little spice. For dessert, I got mango sticky rice. The mango was nice and ripe, with the sweet sticky rice sauce. Pretty solid thai spot!

Yelp
The ambience is amazing. Medium to loud so perfect for families and kids. They have an upstair seating unlike most places. Ample of parking in the strip mall. Service was decent, though our server was really good. We got things customized since we are vegetarian but ofcourse some of the items like the Spring rolls and Soup were premixed and cannot be subbed. Their soup has chicken broth so not ideal for vegetarians. The pad thai was decent but lacked simple things like lemon, it was overly sweet. The red curry though was absolutely high class amazing. Spicy, tasty and flavorful. One thing I didnt realize until we were almost done was they never asked about spice level, which was strange. Overall pretty decent experience. It is kinda on the pricer side but not too bad..

Yelp
I'm a repeat customer, food and staff is great. Love the Birthday celebration, they play HBD song on their loud speaker but it's subtle not at all obnoxious.
