Disappointing first visit
We waited a bit to be seated, which was fine, but were first placed right under a super loud speaker that was way too loud for how few people were in the restaurant. Thankfully, the hostess was really kind and moved us to a quieter corner, which helped.
After that, things got messy. Two different servers asked if we were ready to order within the first few minutes of sitting down, even though it was our first time there and we hadn’t looked at the menu yet. When we finally were ready to order, no one was around. We decided to get our food to go because the vibe just felt off.
About 30 minutes went by, and we still didn’t have our food. We asked a manager, and he seemed confused since we didn’t have a name on the order, since we had originally sat down. Eventually, the food came out and was still warm when we got home, which was the one positive.
The “mac and cheese pork sandwich” wasn’t what we expected. It was more like cheesy ramen stuffed inside thick pork belly instead of pulled pork. That part was on us for not realizing what it was, but then we found a huge hair in the sandwich.
Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this place unless you’re too drunk or high to care about the experience.
