Where To Eat In Barcelona When You’re Sick Of Tapas - Barcelona - The Infatuation

"Sartoria Panatieri has two locations, but we prefer the more central Eixample outpost, set in a converted industrial space with a leafy patio. Their pizza dough is made with hand-milled flour, and covered in seasonal, mostly local ingredients before being baked in a wood-fired oven. There are no bells or whistles to the margherita, but don’t be fooled by its unglamorous appearance. Take a bite and let the red sauce explode in your mouth like a warm tomato bomb. The other main reason to come here is the homemade selection of artisanal cheese and charcuteries, the latter of which uses Gascón pork from a nearby farm. You might think a sausage is a sausage, no matter how fancy the pig, but the meats here will really have you debating trying to smuggle a few links back home in your luggage." - isabelle kliger

The 38 Essential Barcelona Restaurants

"The team at pizzeria Sartoria Panatieri focuses on seasonality, artisan production, and ingredient provenance, taking the pies to a whole other level and making this one of the hottest spots in the city. This self-described “farm to pizza” restaurant meticulously selects every ingredient that graces its creative pizzas or goes into its exceptional house-made salumi. Tender crust from local, organic flour is the base for toppings like sobrasada, Mahón cheese, wild fennel, honey, and mozzarella, or Cantabrian anchovy with escarole and Kalamata olive puree. For their most popular classic pizzas, head to the location in Gràcia on Carrer Encarnació. As of April 2024 the flagship location on Carrer Provença will have a more modern menu with a constant rotation of new, seasonal pizza creations." - Sam Zucker

Absolutely the best pizza in Barcelona. Ingredients are super fresh, tastes are complex and delightful, and I love how the pizza making is just meters from your table. All the ingredients are laid out and you can see how fresh they are. They have unique pizza flavours to compliment the farm fresh toppings. You will love this place. Top 5 pizza places in the world for me. We got a white based pizza, a roasted cauliflower with cheese, and roasted leeks. All perfect

We got so lucky! We arrived right after the restaurant opened and realized we needed to have a reservation, BUT they happened to have a table for 2 open for two hours! We took advantage of the opportunity. The wine was delicious, we had the cauliflower as a starter which was quite a large serving, and then had two orders of the pizza listed as #0 on the menu - tomato sauce base, mozzarella, basil and olive oil. So good! I also bought a shirt that the staff was wearing as a souvenir. Highly recommend this pizza spot!!

Top level Pizza. This is a MUST if you come to Barcelona. Unique recipies, fresh ingredients and quality. Bonus points: the chocolate cake has an amazing consistency and flavor. The place itself is ideal for a casual date or friend gathering.

We tried the Margarita pizza and the burrata — both were really good! I just wish they offered an option to remove or add ingredients, but its not allowed. Note: I had seen a different pizza on Google Maps, like the one with olives, but they told me that it’s not available at this restaurant — it’s served at their other location, which has a different menu. I’m not sure where exactly that other branch is, but they mentioned that this one is the classic and oldest location

Great Neapolitan pizza with excellent ingredients. They’ve won several awards. The spicy salami one was delicious, with the best oregano I’ve ever tasted. It’s definitely worth a try.

My Favorite Pizza in Barcelona! I absolutely love the pizza here—the dough is incredible, very tasty. They offer an interesting variety of pizzas, each with distinct and well thought flavor profiles. My favorite pizza is the sobrasada with honey, 🍯, but I also really enjoy the spicy chorizo and the stracciatella pizza. There are many other great options, plus tasty starters to share. Tiramisu is amazing as well 😋 The staff is very attentive and friendly. I highly recommend making a reservation in advance, as it tends to fill up several days ahead.

Overall, we had a great night, good pizzas and friendly service. That said, I don’t quite understand the hype around needing to book weeks in advance. Once you’re there, you feel rushed toward the end of your meal because they’re already preparing for the next group. We wanted to order another pizza after our first round, and when I asked, the waiter actually said he had to check if it was even possible. It was a really awkward moment as a customer. (In the end, they did let us order, but the situation felt strange.) As for the food, the chorizo picante pizza was definitely my favorite, great flavor and spice. The stracciatella one looked amazing and super aesthetic, but the taste didn’t quite live up to what I’ve had at other places. The four cheese and anchovy pizzas were good too, but nothing extraordinary. My personal ranking would be: 1. Chorizo Picante 2. Stracciatella 3. Four Cheeses 4. Anchovy

Google
Very nice Neapolitan pizza. Not surprised to see that they are in the top 50 list of Europe. The dough is very very good and all the ingredients are very fresh. Although the tomato sauce and ingredients might make the pizza a bit “wet”, the center of the pizza dough and the bottom is still crunchy, which is an amazingly difficult thing to reach. Congratulations ! Just one tiny comment; everyone in the table should be able to pay for what they ate and drink, rather than dividing the whole bill to the person number on the table. This is why I only gave low stars for the service.
