Seattle’s Best Thai Restaurants | Eater Seattle

"Eating at this Ballard spot (right next to Pestle Rock) can be like taking a tour of Thailand — it serves dishes from all different regions of the country, from northern sausage to spicy southern curries. There’s a ton of seafood on the menu, but you can trust pretty much anything will be good. The panang curry is thick and delicious and it’s almost over the top to put slow-cooked strip loin in it, but we’re not going to say no." - Harry Cheadle

The Best Restaurants in Ballard | Eater Seattle

"Don’t be thrown by the odd name or the slogan “LOOK FOR THE NOOK IT IS OFF THE HOOK” (which I guess is supposed to reference that it’s kind of tucked away?). Chef Supanut Jiratkaren is putting out some hot Thai food in every sense of the word. The menu leans into seafood, but this is a place where even basic staples are eye-opening. The Chinese broccoli is fresh and vibrant, and the panang tofu is so rich it’ll convert even devoted carnivores." - Harry Cheadle

Best Restaurants, Bars, and Cafes on South Whidbey Island | Eater Seattle

"This new-ish bistro in downtown Langley has been pretty much an instant hit for its snappy PNW-meets-Mediterranean menu — and the sweeping view of Saratoga Passage probably doesn’t hurt either. Crowd favorites are the roasted wild salmon with shaved corn relish, shallot, cumin, turmeric, and fennel seed, as well as the harissa-roasted carrots and the curly mafalda carbonara with prosciutto. Diners love the bittersweet chocolate pots de crème too, and Savory has one of the most diverse, interesting wine lists on Whidbey." - Meg van Huygen

Our meal here was great! The crispy savory chicken was so tender, perfectly crispy and flavorful. The green beans were amazing as well as the Thai garlic chicken. They were very accommodating to my cousin who has to eat gluten free. The drinks are good too! If you’re in Ballard and want to eat some yummy Thai food, come here!

05.June.2025 Their Thai/Laotian dishes were on-point. Can choose spice level Reminds me of home Had their signature special, loved the salad

Google
This is my favorite Thai food in Seattle. The menu is super interesting, highlighting foods from different regions. I have never been disappointed in anything I’ve ordered. The flavors are always so fresh, well balanced, great heat levels. We love this place for takeout or a special occasion both. And the service is so nice! It’s just the best.

Google
Really good Thai food in Ballard. What’s most special is that they label the origin of each dish so you know from which region in Thailand the dish is from. Highly recommend the salty egg fried rice!!

Google
Ambiance (5/5): I liked the inside decoration with a multi-level dining space. It was cool that you could also see right into the kitchen. The restaurant is as such filled with the Thai dish aroma. Service (5/5): There was only one other party during a Friday lunch hour. We were serviced immediately and our food came out pretty fast. Chicken Khao Soi (5/5): The broth was so rich and packed with flavor! The tastes were slightly spicy and the chicken drumstick was very tender. The fried noodles soaked up the broth and was a lovely bite. The dish came with a small dish of a lemon slice, pickled onions and chili. Thai Iced Tea: It sounds like they used a pre-made mix. I was unable to request less sugar or condensed milk. So I’m unsure how authentic the tea is.

Google
My absolute, ab-so-lute favorite Thai restaurant. Take out travels well. Picture is the soft shelled crab shareable/appetizer.

Google
This place was a nice surprise in Ballard area. The ambience is very casual and simple. The concept of offering dishes from various regions of Thailand with a map and codes for the regions was a plus. The portions are generous and reasonably priced for the amount. We wanted to try dessert but we were full. Mango sticky rice sounds like a must-try per Yelp reviews. We would go back to try other dishes and the desert. We had the Kor-lar chicken as an appetizer. this one was small, and thai spicy herbal and savory galangal sauce those the dishes were huge. Nothing was spicy, and everything was delicious.

Google
Amazing delicious Thai food that brings you decidedly away from the usual North American styled Thai food. The limited time fried curry Kabocha squash had an excellent crunch and relaxed flavour paired with a quality sauce. Both the Pad See Ew and basil fried rice can be found on other menus but these pumped up and presented a depth of more authentic Thai flavour than I've seen at many other restaurants. Service was very good and the restaurant relaxed even on a weekend night.

Yelp
Always a sensory treat to dine here. They have some of my favorite flavors in Seattle from the pickled jalapeños to the fish sauce brined Thai chili and the chili crisp, I put all three on everything! Yes, I like it HOT! My favorite is the Thai sausage and I always get Larb. I can pig out and still feel like I'm eating healthy. They don't add a lot of extra sugar to their Larb as one other very popular Thai restaurant in Ballard. And I appreciate that. I also enjoy their Thai Moscow Mule! That's where I get all the extra sweetness for the meal. Yum X 1,000,000

Yelp
Cozy lil spot with big flavor. Our group of four were seated immediately on a Friday night. Service is fast & friendly. KANG PED BED YANG (low spice): I think this is one of my favorite curries I've had in the US ever! I rarely see this dish in the bay area tbh... AND with lychee. This has all my favorite ingredients mixed in one. Creamy, savory, sweet, and a little spicy-- topped with crispy, tender duck...! Expertly balanced. You need to try this if you like sweet curries. Rice must be ordered separately. NOTE: Went above and beyond for customer service... One of our friend's orders was made too spicy which had to be sent back and remade. They ended up comping the entire dish for us :O

Yelp
Came here after a long shift and the restaurant is tucked in a building with other businesses. The food was amazing. Quite different from your typical Thai restaurant. I tried two different dishes- spicy basil fried rice with ground chicken and a curry dish with Roast duck and longan and lychees were included. It was a very savory curry, sweet and savory, with a good heat level 3. I am someone who loves spicy, ordered my fried rice at a level 4 and it was pretty spicy. My spice tolerance is very high so I don't recommend that level if you can't tolerate medium-hot heat. We also orders their chicken wing appetizer- super crispy and flavorful. It was yummy!

Yelp
This is my favorite Thai restaurant in Ballard! Whether you are eating in or picking up a takeout order, you are greeted with a smile and your food will be delicious. I always order the khao soi, which you can't find at every restaurant. The one odd thing was that the chicken came with a chicken leg in it - I typically order tofu so had never experienced this! It still tasted good, but took a little more effort to eat. This time I also ordered the green beans, which had a perfect amount of garlic. I have never had a bad dish here!

Yelp
Love this spot! My husband and I came here for lunch with our pup. They have a table or two which sits outside the restaurant and they were nice enough to let us dine there with our pup. The food is really good and service is great! They have really tasty crab dishes! We tried the crab fried rice, chicken seaweed rolls, and pad see ew and everything was so good!

Yelp
Still delicious, just wanted to post pics from our most recent visit! It was also my kiddos birthday and they were really nice to bring out some desserts.

Yelp
Presentation was good but food was meh. I've had better. The salted fried rice was too soggy. Savory crispy fried chicken was mostly batter. The chicken dish wasn't that tasty. The chicken was bland. Service was sub par. The guy that waited on us didn't smile and seemed bothered when we asked for a box to have something to go. Box wasn't big enough so I asked for foil and he wax just over it. I wouldn't go here again.

Yelp
I've been here twice in the past 60 days. On my first visit everything tasted perfect! My sister and I ordered the Kor-Lae Chicken appetizer, the green bean garlic, the Royal Kao-Soi noodles with tofu and the Kang-Ped-Bed-Yang with roasted duck. The dishes were hot (temperature), full of spices with some heat and delicious. I took my partner there last week and we ordered the same dishes thinking it would be the same. Unfortunately, the food was disappointing. The dishes arrived lukewarm (temperature); the pineapple and lychee were cold and tasted like they took it out of the fridge and added it to the sauce. The only items that arrived hot was the green beans and the rice. Sadly, my second visit didn't compare and I'm disappointed they lacked consistency.

Yelp
Such a cute and unique little Thai shop in Ballard! They label the food by regions of Thailand. The soft shell crab dried curry is a must! Along with the whole soft shell crab, they cooked vegetables with more crab!!! I absolutely love how well the flavors came together. We also got the panang strip loin curry. The steak was cooked to perfection. The curry was a little heavy for me though. Nothing majorly bad to say about it. It's just not my vibe so I probably will not get it again. I highly highly HIGHLY recommend the kanom jean num prik!!!! The curry is a little sweet, the shrimp was super tender, and the ground peanut really compliment the entire dish. It came in a really cute bowl where you pour the curry in and mix it all together. It's a really fun and really good dish. 10/10 The mango sticky rice is also a MUST! The presentation of the dish was stunning and the sticky rice was amazing. The coconut milk sauce could be reduced a little more in my opinion. They put A WHOLE MANGO on there though!! 10/10 would recommend this place

Yelp
If you've not stopped by this wonderful "hole in the wall" restaurant you're missing out! Tucked away off Market is Secret Savory, a light and bright, small but mighty, Thai restaurant with plenty of delicious menu items and drinks to choose from. Staff are friendly. Prices are fair. Food is absolutely delectable. Because it is small, don't be surprised if there is a bit of a wait especially over weekends. It is certainly worth the wait however. My noodle Tom yum soup was the perfect mix of sour and spicy. The Dancing Thai Iced tea with a touch of rum was quite literally one of the best Thai iced teas I have ever tasted. All in all, the food and experience is great. I can definitely see this becoming a regular spot for a great lunch or dinner!

Yelp
Every dish I've had here stands out compared to pretty much every other Thai restaurant. Which is not easy to do in this area. However it does come with a slight price increase that I feel is often worth it, often not always. The inside is on the small side but the layout provides a nice separation that makes you feel like you're in a larger space. The decor is nice and clean. The materials are fairly high quality. This spot has decent natural lighting, but this does make it feel a bit odd because the day I can was dull and it reflected inside. Meh, I could see my food just fine, just wish they had more lights. Their service is also just ok. Nothing special and far from bad. They are nice. I was able to get seated right away during happy hour. I've been here before and also passed by many times and this place has never been packed. Not sure why when they have these amazing dishes. Maybe the price for the area makes this more of a luxury despite being better priced than many of the nicer restaurants in the area. I can say their food taste absolutely delicious. Every meal I've had was better than anywhere else in the area. They also offer many dishes I just don't find anywhere around here. On my last visit I tried the jackfruit salad and 2 different crab based dishes. One thing to note, their food has a more of a sweet flavor than spice. I don't mind. In my opinion it's nice to have sweet tasting food from time to time be extra spicy. The jackfruit salad was over powered by the fish sauce flavor and I couldn't eat more than 2. Needs more salad or maybe something else to help cut or spread the saltiness. My Kanom Jean Numya Pu had amazing flavor and texture, but was for sure not worth the high price I paid. Everything about it was underwhelming but the flavor. I'm glad I experienced it, but wish I had ordered something different. The curry softshell crab was spot on. No complaints with this dish. The proportions made sense and there was actually enough crab to satisfy. Every other dish I've had at this location was a similar experience to how I felt about the crab curry. Unique, tasty, decent portion, prices appropriate. I highly recommend planning a simple date night here or even just getting a solo plate. You for sure can find cheaper or more expensive, but eating here almost corrects the judgement bar of what middle quality Thai food is. No this isn't the most fancy Thai restaurant and no it's not a hole in the wall. To be honest I'd rather come here than several of the fanciest Thai restaurants I've been to. Can't wait to come back.

Yelp
Highly recommend trying the sea bass with galungang sauce and fried crab - absolutely delicious! And don't miss out on their kiwi margarita cocktails. The restaurant itself is adorable, with a charming ambiance. Service was fast and efficient, which only added to the great experience. Can't wait to return and sample more dishes. Definitely worth a visit!

Yelp
Small and cozy restaurant, no wait at 7:30pm on a Friday for 2 people. My husband and I were greeted quickly and seated. We ordered the chicken pad thai, thai basil fried rice, and dried curry soft shell crab. Chicken pad thai - 8.5/10 (4/5 spicy) The noodles were cooked perfectly with a nice chew. The tamarind/fish sauce was an excellent combo of sweet and savory and an ideal amount to coat the noodles. We wished there was more peanuts and chicken. 4/5 spice is perfect if you like spicy food but don't want a runny nose all dinner. Thai basil fried rice w/ minced beef & fried egg - 6/10 (3/5 spicy) The flavor was great on this dish, but the rice was really dry. The egg wasn't runny enough. The prawns were very dry and tough to chew. 3/5 spice wasn't very spicy. Dried curry soft shell crab - 5/10 (3/5 spicy) This entire dish ate very mushy. Mouthfeel was very off, just soft textures like baby food. We were expecting a dry seasoning based on the name of the dish, but everything was stir fried with a curry sauce which made the fried soft shell crab soggy. Not very spicy either. Parking is located on the street, free after 8pm.

Yelp
Grabbed take out and it was really generous portions relative to price (except maybe the dumplings) and well packaged. It was actually so well sealed I had a little trouble opening it at first! We were headed to a brewery for book club so I ordered the crab fried rice, garlic chayote, and chive dumplings to share. Lots of vegetarian and vegan options! I absolutely would recommend all of them. I'd also come back and order again because the fried rice was delicious and it's so rare to see chayote! It's located in a busy area, but has a cute little dine in space.
google avatar

Yelp
Ordered the Pad See Ew and the Savory Crispy Chicken and they were both super solid! We got them at a level 2 spice level and it was the perfect hint of spice. Definitely a must try for late night Thai takeout
google avatar

Olivia R.

Yelp
Phenomenal, reasonably priced Thai food. The panang strip loin curry was my favorite. Seems like more of a takeout spot but we ate there. The service was really quick and the atmosphere was casual. Will definitely be back!!! Probably for takeout next time.

Yelp
While visiting Ballard, I wanted Thai food and came across this gem. The restaurant is quaint and cute, the service is great and I had Thai fried rice was excellent. Definitely will be back

Yelp
A no-frills spot for Thai eats with a focus on seafood -- they have a large menu, and literally everything on there looks absolutely delicious! We stopped in for a meal on a Sunday evening and they were so gracious even when we had a large group! The servers were really sweet and patient when explaining the menu, too. My personal favorite was Southern Green Curry -- so flavorful and chock full of vegetables. It's fun to share, and the portion sizes are definitely great for a more family-style meal. Overall, a solid spot and I'd come back!

Yelp
Really wanted to love this place! I visited with a friend who was visiting Seattle and had seen the great reviews for this place but sadly found it to be pretty disappointing. Service: I think the server may have just had an off day or the place is understaffed, but a few things went wrong for us. We were forced to get our food to-go, because our server assumed that we were getting takeout. By the time we clarified that we were dining in, she told us it was too late and we had to get it to-go. I also ordered rice with my dish and was charged for it, but our takeout didn't include it. We requested utensils so we could eat it nearby at a park but those likewise weren't provided. Also felt the server was quite rude to us, but it may have been due to a busy day for them. Food: I ordered the shrimp paste eggplant dish which was really good but a bit too sweet for me. Loved the eggplants and shrimp which were both really well cooked. Portion sizes were pretty generous and I was quite full after. Note that the lunch menu says rice comes with the dish, but this is only if you dine in. Rice is separately charged for takeout ($3). Overall: Good but slightly too sweet Thai food, slightly forgetful/dismissive servers. I think Thai food is generally quite good in Seattle and their food didn't really stand out to me, so I'll probably go somewhere else in the future!

Yelp
Summary: Solid spicy and (slightly too) sweet Thai Details: * Massive menu of eats from various regions of Thailand * Spice levels are not quite super Thai spicy, but not wimpy either: start with a level two and adjust accordingly * Lots of seafood options, all of which were quite fresh * Flavors are pretty solid, but while everyone else in our group loved the food, my girlfriend and I found many of the otherwise tasty dishes a bit too sweet (though I imagine you can ask them to cut back a bit) Accessibility: There are two levels in the restaurant, so be sure to mention your need for an accessible table when booking. The (external) bathroom, unfortunately, is down a flight of stairs and not otherwise accessible.

Yelp
I live in Belltown and ordered uber eats and everything arrived hot and delicious. I want this menu in belltown and the owners other place on 1st. This is the menu people want and crave.

Yelp
Wanted a quick dinner before dropping off family at the airport. Many places were closed on a Monday evening, so we were happy they were open and had open tables. We ordered quickly ! We started with The seaweed chicken roll. It was served during our dinner, but was very good. The plum dipping sauce was so good and added the perfect sweetness to the chicken. I had the chicken pad thai. They asked what level of hotness on a scale of 1 to 5. I ordered a 2 and holy smokes it was so spicy. I topped it with the plum sauce to add some sweetness to offset the spiciness. My son ordered his with a level 3 and he also commented it was just too spicy. The food would have been good expect for this. Service was a bit spotty, we had 2 different servers and neither really showed us much attention. If in the Ballard I would try again, but be warned about the spice levels.

Yelp
From the moment you walk in, the establishment is bright, airy, and everyone is happily creating these delicious dishes for diners. Food made happily is food made with love. They lit my candle for dinner for one which made my experience all the more pleasant and ambiance level upped. Ordered the Tom Yum with pork. Pork slices were thin with just the right amount of fat and meat per slice. Melts in your mouth. The broth, spice level 4 was refreshing and packed with lemon grass and Thai chili spice flavor. Coconut milk eased the palate. Definitely makes your tummy warm and tingly on a brisk fall day. Larb E-San Salad with beef to mix it up. Perfectly seasoned and made fresh. You can tell by the texture of the dish. The key with this is to douse the raw cabbage with the meat and get everything in one bite- piece by piece. This is a hidden gem in the city. Bookmark, visit it, taste it and see for yourself! 5 stars all around.

Celina S.

Yelp
Their menu is super fun, they label dishes by the regions you'd typically find them in Thailand. We ordered pad Thai, shrimp paste eggplant, and soft shell crab dry curry stir fry. The Pad Thai was sooo flavorful and you could really taste the tamarind. Also really enjoyed the soft shell crab dry curry stir fry, we had never tried something like that! Eggplant was good but typical. Overall we enjoyed the meal -- some new stuff, and some well-done classics.

Yelp
I do believe this is the best Thai in all of Seattle. Delicious, inventive cuisine that is beautifully served. Really very good
google avatar

Grayson C.

Yelp
Soft shell crab dry curry was phenomenal, one of the better dishes being served in Seattle right now. Cute quiet space with good service and chill music. We'll be back. FYI, don't be surprised - the coconut juice comes sweetened.

Yelp
This is a really convenient spot on Market if you're having trouble deciding where to go or the waits are too long elsewhere. There are always open tables when I've come here - great for us, but probably not so much for them... The interior is pretty minimalist, and they have 2 or 3 little tables outside which is nice and fun to people watch. Secret Savory's menu stands out because it features dishes from different regions of Thailand. I highly recommend the traditional jackfruit salad if you like flavor. It's phenomenal. Other standout dishes are the soft shell crab and kao soi. The miang-kham is a nice experience. The cocktails are alright, nothing to write home about. It's not the cheapest Thai food so it wouldn't be my pick for takeout, but I enjoy eating there.
google avatar

Yelp
I've been here twice now and enjoyed it both times! The space is really cute and lives up to the name - secret and savory. The restaurant is tucked away in a side entrance off the street inside a building with conjoining businesses. The food is so good! They have many options to choose from on their menu. From appetizers to noodle dishes and specials. The first time I tried the Kanom-Jean-Num-Prik. This was a flavorful and slightly spicy curry noodle dish. It is fun because you actually get to mix it all up yourself! When it comes out there is a big bowl of all the noodles and shrimp and veggies and then you pour the curry over it and stir it up. I also had some of the lemongrass wings and those were very tasty albeit a bit on the less meaty side. The second time I came I had the papaya salad to start, which was delicious and recommended! I also tried the Cucumber Moscow Mule which wasn't bad. I liked how refreshing the cucumber made it taste. For my main I had the Savory Galangal Sauce with river prawn. Now it really is just one prawn, a very large one. The sauce was amazing! I loved the flavor of the galangal. It comes with some veggies that you can mix in with the sauce. Unfortunately the prawn was not as meaty as it looked for its size. You have to literally scrape the meat off to get any. Overall I would enjoy coming back here to try another dish as they have so many that all sound interesting!

Yelp
What an awful experience dining here with guests. We encountered rude, unprofessional, impolite, and totally useless team at this restaurant. Noisy, dirty, and unacceptable for the Ballard scene. This restaurant and people working here bring shame to otherwise lovely Thai food places in the region. How does one feel when you are in person at the restaurant and the waitresses ignore you for the take out orders? Well, that happened three times during our team of four while getting seated, clarifying menu and getting their attention to get the check. I think that's a new normal in places like this who thrive on take out orders rather than dine-in customers. Spice level is one thing but properly spiced food with fresh ingredients, special when the place is located immediately next to entrance to Ballard Sunday Market is a totally another thing. I am still scratching my head about how does such a place stay in business and get positive reviews. This place brings shame to Thai good that too in Ballard.
google avatar

Yelp
Secret savory has become my go-to Thai place in Ballard. Literally all hits and no duds so far. Phad See Ew - fantastic. Crab Fried Rice - indulgently delicious. Garlic Green Beans - unbelievably good for something so simple. The chicken Larb was a little on the acidic side and could've used some more lettuce/veggies/peanuts to cut it, but we still finished every bite. Their Panang Curry is the bomb too, and I plan to try some of the other curries next time. One drawback when I ate at the restaurant was that it was on a toasty summer day, and it was literally unbearably hot inside. Thankfully they have a few tables in the shade out front and we sat there, but if it weren't for those I think we would've had to go elsewhere for dinner, or order to go. Management would be wise to invest in some window-mount AC units for the summer months. Other than that I really have no complaints about my experiences so far. I will certainly be back, and I can definitely recommend stopping in if you're in the mood for Thai food in Ballard.

Yelp
This is a small shop in Ballard, pretty easy to find! The server was super nice and we got seated right away. Their portions are good for sharing so you can try more options. The eggplant shrimp paste as a little salty but the papaya salad and the crab fried rice were amazing! Will come back to try a few more things.

R K.

Yelp
Happy hour prices were not sufficiently lower to make me happy. Beer was cold and crisp. Appetizer cabbage was very good. Tofu entree was a bit too sweet for my taste but cooked well. The highlight was their seasonal dessert sticky rice in coconut cream and mango. Always a winning combination! Nice staff. Restrooms are outside on a lower level.

Yelp
Ok we ordered to go on Sunday July 14th and spent $300 in food. Most the of foods were tasty. Pad Thai, pad see eu had good flavors. their spicy level is pretty spicy. Thai basil fried rice was not good. However, my husband's pad Thai had a long piece of metal wire in his food, like one of those stainless steel scrubber that fell apart. On top of that, we ordered a dish that had eggs in it and there was long hair stuck in the egg. So grossed out. Before discovering these things, I was going to come back and try this place again. But never again and feel compelled to leave a review. Hope they read this and pay more attention and be cleaner. Food taste I would give a 4 star but 1 star for obvious reasons.

Yelp
Ordered take out for dinner from here, and the portion size was absurdly small. Only half of the smallest container available had food. It was disappointing.

Yelp
I can't believe it took me this long to try this place out. SO GOOD. Normally when we get Thai, it's for a casual dinner and we don't have the mental energy of figuring out what to order... so we gravitate to a thai place even closer to us to get pad kee mao. However, it was my birthday and I wanted something unique, and Secret savory's menu definitely had unique offerings. We tried: - jack fruit salad - Tom yum noodles - yum woon sen - seaweed chicken roll - soft shell crab dried curry - pad thai Honestly, everything was a hit (except the chicken roll, but it is probably because I got it togo and it was no longer crispy). I especially enjoyed the crab curry and jack fruit salad. I love that we have such rocking thai options in Ballard. Keep up the GREAT work!!!! Looking forward to getting more take out from here.

Yelp
Great food and friendly staff!!! We loved what we had. Picked this place because it had so many great reviews. We had the Chinese Broccoli, Penang Tofu, crab fried rice, and fish cakes! For desert we had a mango sticky rice that was amazing! What great food going back for sure!

Yelp
Came here for lunch. Tried the green curry with chicken which was very good. Great curry flavor with chicken, eggplant and veggies. Also tried to Tom Yom Noodle soup. This was probably only 3.5/5 for me as was too sweet and lacked the yellowgrass of the best Tom Yong soups. Heard great things about the soft shell crab curry. Will have to try that next time.

Yelp
Fabulous little place. The grilled eggplant appetizer caught my eye and it turned out to be very good. There was so much in the menu it was difficult to choose an entree. I ended up ordering the lychee fried rice with seafood. Superb!! And the spice level was great for me (5+ :)) Definite recommend!!

Yelp
Traveled to Seattle, and went to Ballard area and I found the gem. Thai food with a flare of Northern Thai cuisine. Small cute place that offered many choices of curry. I ordered Crab meat curry with vermicelli, and that is a bomb!!! The pulled-chicken sour soup(Northern style soup) was really something different from Tom-Yum soup. And I love the Kang Yi rah, it is another kind of red curry with seafood. I love that too. Great portion. The service was run by one lady, but she handled many tables at the same without frustration. Thank you so much

Yelp
I've been here before but realized I never wrote a review. Splurged and picked up a new year's eve meal for myself yesterday. My friend who lives in the neighborhood was racing about the softshell dry curry crab. So went with that, an order of rice and the Miang Kham a favorite appetizer of mine that I hadn't ordered here. Miang Kham is such simple ingredients but together they make a wonderful bite. Theirs has dried shrimp as one of the ingredients, and I always feel like it's healthy. I still prefer dungeness crab being raised in Seattle, but the crab curry was tasty well seasoned I got it at mild spice level which was just right for me. Service was quick and friendly and wanted to support a business in my neighborhood.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I go to place quite frequently. We never dined in but the staff is great and the food is good as well. The portions are a bit smaller than.

Yelp
"Secret" because the front door is sort of off the street and it's hard to see what's going on in there. But what's going on is some spectacular but simple authentic Thai food.

Yelp
Came with a friend for dinner - interiors are cute and there's decent seating for smaller groups. Food was delicious. The staff was quick to take our order and the food came out after around 20min. Excited to try some more adventurous items on the menu next time!

Yelp
You could shut your eyes, place your hand anywhere on this menu, order it, and it would be some of the best Thai food you've ever had. You can't go wrong. Great service, stellar food, nice ambiance. This chef is legit. Bravo!

Yelp
Food was amazing. I've been here twice now and have only good things to say. The food is unique and the dishes are a lot different than what you typically see at a Thai restaurant, and I mean that in the best way possible. For an appetizer, we got the soft shell crab which was amazing and the hung Lae curry was also pretty good!! The menu is pretty big so looking forward to coming back again and trying more. The service is was okay, nothing really to say. Seemed like it was one worker serving the whole restaurant so maybe add another server for when it gets busy? But this review is mostly based on the food - Thai food is one of my favorites and this is definitely a must :)

Yelp
A friend turned me on to the wonderful Secret Savory tonight. I had the Eggplant with Chili -- made with chunks of deep fried tofu (because I can't get enough fat in my diet...lol) in a delicious sauce. I intended to take half of my entree home. (That didn't happen.)

Yelp
Came here for dinner - the pad thai was so incredibly sticky and sweet, it was almost like a dessert. I would consider coming back to try a different dish, but I would not get the pad thai again. Service was fine, no complaints. The restaurant was very humid when we went (it was a cold day), and it didn't smell very pleasant inside.

Yelp
Um speaking of amazing Thai food... I think this place is a bit of a hidden gem. I fully walked right past it the first time without realizing it, but boy am I glad we walked in for a late night dinner here because the food... o m g. I feel like most of my Thai restaurant reviews are going to sound overwhelmingly positive and that is honestly because Seattle is just blessed with so much good Thai food! You can't really go wrong here, there's only been one place so far I've been somewhat underwhelmed by, and it wasn't this one. The chef here graduated from the Le Cordon Bleu of Thailand, which is a claim that they can certainly back up given how good the food is here. I also like that this spot is open a bit later than other Thai places I've seen! They also have some unique dishes on their menu which I always appreciate. I need to come back and try some of my more standard orders like a curry or noodle dish to see how they do it compared to some of the other places I've tried in Seattle so far.
