8 Best Fried Chicken Restaurants in Charlotte, North Carolina | Eater Carolinas

"One of the many great things about fried chicken in the Queen City is that its varieties can run the gamut from soul food to Seoul food. And in South End, Charlotte’s late-night party central, Seoul Food Meat Company on Church Street takes American soul food and barbecue traditions and injects them with South Korean twists and turns. Want cornbread? Try the green tea cornbread. Hot sauce? How about some gochujang instead? But the chicken pièce de résistance, as it were, are the fried wings and drumsticks, which run the gamut from revelatory (covered in soy garlic sauce) to retaliatory (as “no refund spicy”)." - Timothy DePeugh

Best Places to Eat and Drink Around the Carolina Panthers’ Stadium | Eater Carolinas

"A raucous atmosphere is pretty common here on both NFL and college game days. (It also serves as a Georgia Bulldog bar on Saturdays.) Situated in the Gold District, it’s only a stroll down Mint St. from the stadium. What to get: large basket of half-and-half wings. They are Korean-fried in healthy rice bran oil and have been known to stay crispy overnight in the fridge. The spicy gochujang-inspired wing sauce and the sweet soy garlic glaze makes buffalo a sauce of the past." - Remy Thurston

Amazingly fresh and innovative fare. The Kinchi fries were top-tier, and the main shareables fed my family of 5. Drinks were well-thought and overall, the food was delicious. I HIGHLY recommend....attentive staff, quick service, and an upscale atmosphere with private karaoke rooms that make me want to come back without the kids.

Horrible!!! I ordered bang bang shrimp And waffle fries and Uber eats delivered it. The audacity to sell / serve this is wicked I just knew if I ate it I would have been sick So I wasted my time and my money but never again !!!!

Google
After entering location, it was hard to navigate due to folks crowding the pathway to the room. The back bar person couldn't explain what soju was or how it was made. There were long extended wait times for order to be taking or explained why it took so long. Then we left the karaoke room, had forgetten sunglass and went back to get them and they were stolen by 2 girls per video surveillance provided by management. The sectional seating was extremely low to the ground. The drinks were overpriced, the prices on the menu were different for what I was charged. I ordered a pitcher of white sangria, the menu said $40, but the server said it was $54. I asked why and if all the prices on the are correct. He stated that only the pitcher price had changed. I refused the pitcher and the price, so he poured it out. The food was okay, we had fried wings($19), boa bun(2 for $11), kimchi fries($13), pineapple soju($20), and 4 drinks($60) somehow they ended up charging $175.09. Overall, it was a different experience, but will be our first and last visit there.

We booked a room for Karaoke. No complaints there, but management is SO RIGID. My wings didn't seem cooked and were very underseasoned. When I asked if I could get extra seasoning, I was told, "they weren't allowed to do that." When a member of my party tried to customize her drink, she was told "they weren't allowed to do that. The fries had ZERO seasoning so I found the motto on their shirts, "Putting flavor into Bland St," to be VERY ironic because the flavor was definitely on another street!

I ordered the Bulgogi Kimbap for pickup via Instacart about 30 min in advance. It was ready for pickup at the front door no problem. I was disappointed to hear they didn't have chopsticks, though. The flavor is pretty good, but I feel like it could be even better. Always love the veggie flavor, the Bulgogi felt a little underwhelming. Can't beat the price though.

Kim Clar

Google
A bit overpriced, especially the sides and the drinks, but the menu has a lot of interesting things to try, and most of what my group ordered was pretty tasty. Serving size is on the small side. Highlights were the kimchi fries (tho, the kimchi was really weak) and bao buns, although the green tea cornbread and kimbap were decent, too.

Google
I really wanted to love this place. My husband and I have been trying to find a decent Asian restaurant in the Charlotte area for quite some time. We were excited when we saw the menu online and decided to give this a try. They have a great looking menu but, some of the items that we ordered were lacking in preparation and flavor. Kimchi fries and the bone in chicken wings came out hot and the flavors were ok. I think a little extra sauce on the side for the soy garlic wings would have been nice. The gochujang sauce on the other wings were good though. The pork belly bao buns were disappointing, the meat was cold and chewy. They would have been perfect if they were cooked to order and hot. The kimchi bulgogi kimbap, was… It was like eating day old leftovers straight from the fridge and the bulgogi had a weird texture, like dried tofu that had been reconstituted with not enough water. I really hope that this isn’t the norm and that this restaurant can get better at executing the menu to its full potential. With that said, the service was excellent. My husband and I were greeted by the lovely staff as soon as we walked in. Our server took the time to answer any questions and was super sweet.

Yelp
Had the bulgolgi & pork belly bao. I wasn't trying to be greedy so I only got one of each. fact is I want more. My drink was solid too. lychee yogurt soju was a bit overpriced compared to where im from but that drink also disappeared within minutes. 9.75/10

Yelp
Where do I begin??? We came here for my birthday dinner and it was so unbelievably awful. The menu had like 6 entrees and then wings on it- ok- I figured they did those 6 things well. We ordered the bulgogi, tteokbokki, and kimchi fries. We got the kimchi fries first, probably the best out of the 3- soggy fries, no kimchi and a random meat (not advertised). We got the two other main dishes to the table where a girl set it up and asked us to stir "ok" sounds good. We stirred and she came to the table after a few minutes and asked if we wanted to turn it down- like.. you tell me! When is this cooked? Lol. A few more minutes later we tried the food and wow, this is probably the worst thing we have ever eaten in a restaurant. The bulgogi was cooked in water (was it even salted??), it was tough and the veggies in the dish weren't cooked through. Truly terrible. The tteobokki was as watery and as unspiced as the bulgogi, not like the photo advertised AT ALL (we were later told it was a stock photo). There were also Vienna sausages in there. Ew. Overall 0/10. We told our server that the food was awful and she said she'd tell her manager- "manager" comes up and asks us how the food was- didn't he hear? Bad. No % off or anything helpful. No real apology. Just a "well give you 15% off the next time you come in Extremely disappointed. Disgusting. Rather eat out of a dumpster.

Yelp
I ordered through uber eats and got the bang bang shrimp and waffle fries. When I opened up my box of food I immediately got sick to my stomach I couldn't imagine eating this whatever it is ! To serve this cold sauce with cold burnt fries soaked in honey is wicked and if I ate this I would've definitely got sick I'm so glad I didn't and this is why I don't eat from anywhere because people do anything to make a dollar. 0 stars

Yelp
I used to love this place - food always hit. Bulgogi tacos were my favorite. But I went last night and ordered them, they were literally HALF the size of what they used to be. Previously, I would have meat and cabbage and cucumber falling out of the taco (not complaining, LOVED this because it was so flavorful), but now they're skimping on how much they give you for the same prices. It was the same situation for everyone else at my table as well. Truly disappointed. Not loving the menu change either... no more lychee soju, which was also a favorite of mine.
google avatar

India N.

Yelp
The food was delicious. Although the seasonings were barely there, the smoked meat and bbq sauce were the winners. Especially the crispy pork belly. This place would get a 5 star rating if either the prices were lower or the serving sizes were bigger. I think this is the perfect spot for a large group of friends to order a bunch of food to snack on and have drinks. The ambiance was lively and the service was friendly.

Yelp
It's been a few years since we have been here and it'll probably be a few more years until I give it another chance. The wings were good like they were before. They were large, crispy, and beautifully sauced. The kimchi Kimbap was kinda cold and 90% rice. The greens were so bland (not a season to be found) and gave a canned vibe. They didn't have any vinegar to maybe help give them some life. Honestly, the service wasn't the best. Our server wasn't super knowledgeable about the menu which was a little frustrating but I get it, she could be new but after she asked a couple people she didn't seem confident in the answers so we didn't bother risking it .

Anne D.

Yelp
This was, without a doubt, one of the worst food experiences I have ever had. The menu is very limited, which I don't mind because I trust they know how to master those few dishes but I was totally wrong! Our party of four ordered the kimchi fries, that came topped with a bland meaty sauce and zero kimchi followed by the bulgogi and teokbokki. Those two dishes were totally flavorless. The bulgogi tasted like it had been boiled in plain water, and the teokbokki barely had any sauce and came with mini hot dog sausages and a hard-boiled egg, none of which were mentioned on the menu and frankly gross! When we pointed out the lack of flavor, our server admitted that the bulgogi is known for being bland but only had salt and pepper to season it. As for the lack of sauce for the teokbokki, she said the picture on the menu was not a real one (?). Despite our persistent comments to several servers that stopped by our table to check on us, there was no attempt to make things right. All what they did was to offer us a 15% discount on our next visit...which, needless to say, will never happen!

Yelp
I went to Seoul Food Meat Company after reading the reviews and it seemed like a decent restaurant with many reviews but I made the mistake of not reading the latest reviews and that's where I got got! When I walked into Seoul Food Meat Company, the restaurant was entirely empty except for the bar tender and a person who seemed to be the owner. He didn't necessarily greet me but more so gave me the menus and told me and my family that we could sit wherever. OKay! To be fully transparent, I had my mind set on going to Ruby Sunshine which is right across the street and I truly should've followed my intuitions but I didn't. So back to Seoul Food, the menus is simple, straightforward the food items seemed to be good. We placed our orders with the bartender who seemed to not truly care about us or our order. It was difficult to understand her, not due to language barrier but because she talked so low and the restaurant is empty. When we got out food, I can say I was disappointed with the taste, the presentation and the temperature of the food. I read Saniqua P's review that said "I feel like Seoul is that person you knew in school who so desperately wanted to be part of the "cool" crowd but their efforts always felt a tad forced." I definitely felt that and it's true. Seoul Food to me is trying to fit into a segment that doesn't fit them or vice versa and it shows. With the lack of customer service, the slow service, and the food being disappointing, I have learned and will not be coming back, but since the business doesn't read the comments, I know it doesn't matter anyway! I recommend you try another place that is true to the cuisine and appreciates the customers.

Yelp
We sat down right away but it took a while for our server to come greet us. By the time she got there we knew what we wanted to order. The menu is very small. We ordered at 6 pm and they are open until Midnight and she informed us she was out of the beef wraps. Shocking for a Saturday night. Needlessly to say we left for another restaurant.

Kerwin B.

Yelp
Food was terrible Server wasn't very informative about items on the menu The half chicken must have been half of a pigeon because 6 small wings was more meat than a $19 halfbird....smh When they first opened the food and service was top tier .....now it's the COMPLETE opposite

Yelp
Butterbeer enough said. Jk Alex and Leo are amazing bartenders and kept us well hydrated all night. We had the K-pop room for my friends iconic birthday and we couldn't have asked for better people to take care of us all night it was such a good vibe and the DJ kept playing bangers. The food here is bussing and you should definitely try it. We had so much fun.

Yelp
The worst food I've ever eaten in a restaurant!!! Bad service as well. Manager didn't care

Yelp
If I could give zero stars I would. The most unprofessional experience I've had in a long time from management & I was overcharged, so I had to leave a review. I booked a karaoke room for August 1 with a $20 deposit online and $10 due listed online and from the staff (host & server were kind) when I checked in & covered that $10 difference plus tax of course. I was charged again for the room per my bank notification 8/2 & had an additional $28 pending charge that was a result of the duplicate room charge. Management (Adam White) sent an email, but when I came in person with additional valid questions & per my banks recommendation that it would reasonably be returned from screenshots I showed them on my lunch break. I patiently waited in the empty restaurant & wasn't acknowledged for 13 minutes by the manager. When the conversation did start he was very close minded & short from beginning to end. He cut me off while speaking multiple times as he insisted that my deposit online for Karaoke does not apply To the room but is a reservation fee, despite it being stated on the website and disregarded the in person statement from 2 staff members. He literally stated that "it's a typo on the website that they need to have fixed" Which is why I was charged twice & he didn't even notice $16 over his own statements in addition to the pending charge, simple math. Mind you I did not have this issue at the Mill St location, which leads me to believe not only are you being dishonest, but simply weren't open to following the claims you made as a business in person and in writing online. I realized it was an aimless conversation & my coworker who was there that night was also terribly confused so we simply ended on we would never return or recommend it. The wings & cocktail were the only highlight but there are so many other places with professionalism in Charlotte that can serve those. Icing on the cake, the room wasn't ready at our booked time the microphones had heavy feedback we could barely hear ourselves, we had no server & made no orders during karaoke since we ate beforehand yet I was charged a tip. I was clearly charged in error with no accountability by management or desire to resolve it so my bank did.

Yelp
Definitely not the KBBQ that you're used to. It's not the kind of KBBQ where you'd cook raw meat in front of you. I'd say it's more like southern BBQ and Korean food under the same umbrella. As there are many options of meat, it's hard to choose one. So me and my friends chose different thing's and tried each others meat. I ended up ordering the brisket, but that was the downfall. Maybe it was because it was later at night, the brisket ended up drier than I expected. The beef rib was for sure good as well as the crispy pork belly. The Ramen Mac and Cheese was pretty interesting. It's just another random vessel to get cheese into your mouth. The service was pretty chill where they call your order up and you just pick it up. Nothing too fancy. They also have a bar for you if you want to pick up a drink separate from your food while you wait. The location was pretty chill as there is a lot of space. We had a lot of people so we were able to sit all of us without being separated.

Yelp
New lunch spot, to check out. I like to try new places and this was different and good. I think I'll have the wings next. Service great and food was quick.

Yelp
On a recent visit to Charlotte to visit one of our DDs, my DH and I had the opportunity to visit Seoul Food Meat Company. Having been cited by our DD as "the best chicken wings in Charlotte," how could we resist? Not only did we have wings: Kickin Lemon Pepper, Soy Garlic and Spicy BBQ flavored, but we also tried the Pork Belly Bao Bun Sliders. The wings were cooked exactly as we like them, lovely & crispy! The Spicy BBQ was quite spicy, but the person in our party that ordered them loves spicy food, so it worked out well! The Pork Belly Bao Bun Sliders were very flavorful... pork belly lovers will really get into this dish! All in all, a great first visit and we look forward to coming back again soon.

Yelp
I ate here once a few years ago and wasn't impressed. Today, my coworkers and I wanted Ruby Sunshine for lunch, but they were extremely busy and had a 30 minute wait. We decided to go across the street to Seoul Food Meat Company and give it a try. Huge, huge mistake. The first sign of how horrible my meal was going to be should have been the fact that literally every restaurant we passed had lines out the door except for this place, which was completely empty. For a restaurant to not have customers at 12:30, there is definitely a problem. I ordered a chicken sandwich. Half of my sandwich had no sauce. I asked my waitress to bring me some sauce for it. She told me no - she's not allowed to give extra sauce. I showed her my chicken and she even agreed that there was no sauce on it. However, their rules are "no modifications" and extra sauce is considered a modification. NO - YOU modified my food when you decided not to put sauce on it. I asked to speak to the manager, which was pointless. She refused to give me more. I said let me get this straight - I order chicken and whatever amount of sauce you decide to put on it - that's all I get? And she said yes. She said they used to sneak customers extra sauce, but the kitchen staff told on them so they are no longer able to do that. What?!? I will never...ever return to this place. When I got back to my office and told everyone about my experience, they all agreed that the food was disgusting and the service was even worse. They make the worst kimchi I've ever had - if a Korean restaurant can't even get that right, they don't have a chance. Save your money and go somewhere that your business is valued and your food will be made to your liking. They literally do not care about you as a customer and it shows.
google avatar

Yelp
Arrived to Charlotte late, and this place was open. I was hoping for some great fusion type food and was so disappointed. Everything served to us was cold, cheese wasn't even melted on the chicken, and everything was sooo dry. They forgot a drink my husband ordered and service was extremely slow considering we were the only table in the restaurant. This place seems okay, but we had a terrible experience.
google avatar

Caroline F.

Yelp
These are my boyfriend's favorite wings in the world. They are fried to a perfect crisp and huge (although I heard they used to be bigger and have since changed their supplier). The sauces are quite flavorful too--I prefer the sweet and mild and my boyfriend likes the spicy bbq. We also tried the kimchi fries which honestly weren't great. They were soggy. The wings will keep us coming back though. And I'll have to come back to try karaoke!
google avatar

Phoebe A.

Yelp
My husband and I absolutely adored this spot! We especially loved the pork belly - so crispy and tender. We also got a set of sides, wings, and some drinks (a bottle of soju and fruit punch beer). As a twist between Korean and southern soul food, the sides really worked together nicely. And the wings were delicious, just so crispy and dripping in sauce. The fruit punch beer was delicious as well, with some fresh blueberries added as garnish. The location itself was massive and really allows for large groups of friends. Definitely a great spot to hang out with a group of friends and enjoy some bbq!
google avatar

Mercadees G.

Yelp
Food- wings flavorless ; asked for more sauce for my Wings was told "I can't give you more sauce" then I requested for the wings be remade since sauce can't be given out... waiter told us they had to check well if a customer isn't satisfied with a dish you should do something to fix the issue . Ended up returning the wings after kitchen refused to give sauce or remake the wings. Philly egg roll- tasteless ;sauce on sad 10/10 Kimchi fries- not a piece of kimchi sauce on top 6.5/10. Service - waitress never caught her name; as a first time customer that traveled from Washington DC to enjoy the experience as the restaurant came highly recommended. I am left below underwhelmed . Waiter /manager Christian was not a problem solver in this moment. In fact he is the reason to why I'm leaving a review as he did absolutely nothing to make our experience better. We came to spend money on a nice late night meal...not leave with nothing and a horrible experience .
google avatar

Yusuf B.

Yelp
The food is delicious! Brisket taco? Bulgogi bun? Yes hun! Some fruit Sake to drink? Yes it makes me think...happiest which is the best! So are you wondering why this is as a song? Well, when you are done eating and drinking, they have private rooms for singing! Yes, karaoke at its best, with your fun friends to pass the fun test! Seriously, great food, and a fun atmosphere. If you ever wondered about Korean food, this is a GREAT introduction, with the fusion that's delicious! Our waitress Dulce was very nice, and attentive to our requests. Check this spot out!
google avatar

Rika T.

Yelp
I only like the soy garlic wings. I've been for a few karaoke parties and it was good. The service was amazing! I like the vibe of the place for both kids and adults. I do get a little confused with how to order. That isn't as clear as I would like it to be
google avatar

Ally J.

Yelp
We got the "lil bit of everything" plate and Kim-Chili Ramen Mac. The Mac was amazing, haven't anything like it before. We couldn't pick a meat so we chose the sampler type of platter- our favorite was the fire chicken! The host was very friendly and attentive to us.

Yelp
The food took nearly 45 min to get to our table And it wasn't even fresh it felt like it was sitting out I ordered a bao bun and there was something wet and slimy on it i immediately didn't wanna eat it. My sister has a severe nut allergy and the waiter didn't notify us that there were sesame seeds on the sweet and spicy wings. We kept getting disrupted to leave because they didn't have enough space for other customers but we saw people there who were sitting before us. Not a fan of this place.
google avatar

Noel R.

Yelp
Honestly I never make an effort to write reviews but this one brought me out of my shell. The service was nice but the food and pricing should be illegal. It's a nice establishment but it's like a wolf wearing sheep's clothing. Hurt my feelings how bad the wings, beef fries, and pork belly bao burger was. Thank you, next next.
google avatar

Anna P.

Yelp
First impression was that it has a very interesting menu, some familiar some very different. I tried the BAF wings in sweet & mild and plain. Wings were cooked great and a great size. Egg roll was great too. It was a little odd to visit a place that doesn't have ranch for the wings, but I am from GA so maybe that explains it. Atmosphere was very trendy and they have indoor & outdoor seating. Also they have some karaoke party rooms that I passed which I bet are so fun. Next time, I'll explore an item that is new to me :)
google avatar

Maurice V.

Yelp
This spot was HUGE and the ambiance was nice. The size just made it feel spacious and chill. The bartenders were very nice and skilled at their job--if you like good drinks I would visit here! We had mocktails that were downright DELICIOUS--I ordered 3. We tried the Korean Jumbo Fried Wings and while the flavor on the wings was decently good, the meat was not. It felt like it was undercooked, chewy and we literally could not finish our food. The bill was over $60 and we ate about 3 bites of food total. Would probably go back for the vibes and drinks if friends invited us!
google avatar

Yelp
A couple people recommended we try this place during a business trip to Charlotte. We tried several dishes, I think the most notable were the chicken taco, the ribs and the lychee soju was good also. Overall good food and good portions. The pulled pork was a little dry but good with the BBQ sauce.

A N.

Yelp
Read the reviews and had to go try. Unfortunately, time was not on my side, so got take out. The 12 hr beef rib was quite tasty, but at $45 for a single bone was quite high. I would not have purchased, but after all the readings, I just went for it. I enjoyed the crispy pork belly, with several pieces looking like crispy fat back. To go with these 2 meat dishes, I also purchased the collards- different taste- kind of pickled. Decent food, but will not go out of my way, especially with the prices. The shocker was these 3 items totaled $81 with tax!

Ashley B.

Yelp
Karaoke is so much fun! The outdoor seating and games were a great touch. LOVED the BBQ wings. Never had to wait for a drink.
google avatar

Megan W.

Yelp
Highly recommend the soy wings and kimbap, the rest was just eh. Our server was kind and very knowledgeable on the menu although I could tell other servers were not as equipped. It's definitely not the type of korean bbq you're expecting, no cooking meat on the table. It's a nice place for a very casual lunch, I probably would not recommend planning a dinner/event here. I will be back for the wings and to try the butter beer since they were out of the topping for it.
google avatar

Devin P.

Yelp
I was excited to try Seoul food because I love wings and Asian flavors. The experience and food were just ok. I found my soy garlic wings to be a little salty and not as crunchy as I expected. I would possibly try again, but I'm in no rush

Yelp
We were hungry after the baseball game and came to Seoul Food Meat Company for something on the quicker and easier side. You order at the bar, take a seat, and get buzzed when the food is ready. I ordered a fried fish taco and squid kim bap. Hubs ordered the fried chicken. We both were surprised by the food. The fried chicken is a bit unexpected with cheese but surprisingly paired well with the kimchi. The squid kim bap was excellent and felt like I was eating a mini sushi burrito. The fish taco was the most basic of all the items. We could have passed on that. It was a lively spot at closer to 9 pm and people were still coming in as we wrapped up. Good spot to try.

Brad M.

Yelp
Very good service. Loved the kimchi fries. Best double fried chicken wings I have ever had. Will certainly be back.

Yelp
Great food. The egg rolls are so good! The service very friendly and the ambiance is comfortable with cool music.

Yelp
The restaurant is in a great location and open late. They also have a karaoke room. As for the food, don't think I'm ever going to come back for anything except maybe the boneless wings. The kim chili is literally kimchi prices, ramen and chili. The ramen was overcooked and chili was pretty watery and flavorless. The kimchi fries I was executed to try but also disappointed. The fries were soft and soggy and the sauce is so sweet and heavy I couldn't enjoy the pieces of beef on it. The fire chicken was grilled chicken thigh with some shredded cheese on it, I couldn't understand why it had so much cheese. The boneless wings are deep fried chicken thigh I believe. The spicy bbq felt more sweet than spicy but the soy garlic ones are were

Yelp
I've been wanting to come here for a minute but finally made a stop here today. We got a ton of food to share. #1 was absolutely the boneless wings. They were so crunchy crispy and the flavor of the batter almost had a sweetness to it that balanced with the sauce. The pimento corn cheese was really good and the chips that came with it were addictive. 10/10 Shirley temple variant. It's a Shirley temple with lychee. Fantastic. My only negative was the chicken on the fries tasted like gas. Idk if they use a gas stove or what but it made the whole thing taste bad to me which sucked because I love a kimchi fry. My mom also got the fire tuna kimbap and it was just kinda meh. Negatives aside, I'll probably return for the super tasty chicken!

Yelp
I came back to Charlotte and wanted to visit my favorite restaurant. My son was recently diagnosed with a very severe form for celiac disease recently. We asked the staff what would be safe from cross contamination. We were told there was nothing that could be guaranteed. Wanting to still enjoy our wings and ambiance we once so cherished, we ordered him chipotle. The manager, Edgar, could not have been more rude and dismissive. He told us we absolutely couldn't have outside food. When we told him of the severity of our son's allergies- he scoffed. He verbatim said "I don't see him crying." Shocked, as a mother, I said we would leave. As we gathered our food- $90 worth that we already paid for in boxes- and my son who is 6 started eating as he was clearly starving...we were told we could leave or they would call the police as it was not "the policy" to have outside food. I am still in utter disbelief that a manager could not only be as dismissive to a food allergy, but rather have complete apathy for his patrons- nor care to appropriately train his staff in what is allergen safe. I am truly hard broken and in utter disbelief. I hope no other patron or future customer endures the disservice we endured.

Yelp
Very expensive for food that was barely mediocre, The bbq sauces was gritty, wing flavor profiles were weird and too many flies in the restaurant. Never again

Yelp
Really good food definitely try the garlic tofu and potato nest. The speakeasy is a must if you love good cocktails.

Yelp
This place was AMAZING. The food was very different and had a lot of fusion elements to it, but all were done very well. Reasonably priced too. The restaurant had sort of an American bar vibe to it, which was really fun. The service was great, we were served our food within minutes of ordering. Definitely will be dining again!

Yelp
Why mess with a good thing... I'm sure I gave this place a raving 5 star review some time ago and have returned many times for their soy garlic wings. Last night I ordered online and was surprised when I checked my wing box to see these tiny little things that definitely weren't wings. I'd been given no notice - because I definitely would have cancelled my order - that they were out of bone in wings so they substituted boneless. No offense to them I'm just not a boneless wing person. Decided to keep an open mind and try them anyway. They have the crunch. But maybe too much crunch there's barely any chicken in these nuggets. Some of them were way overcooked so in addition to crunch they were super chewy and you can look at my photo yourself, many of them does definitely doesn't equal the size of an actual wing. I wasn't even going to review, but I got up for the leftovers today at lunch and the box leaked all over my refrigerator. I've never had a box from here leak before. Just disappointed that they seem to have gone down hill. Barely anyone was working and I had to wait for quite a while to pickup my order which I saw was waiting for me behind the unattended counter.

Yelp
My verdict: a very mixed bag, you are either getting great food or something that seems like an experiment gone wrong. The goods: Potato Swirl, Kimchi Fries, Chicken Wings. These items were great, I had a lot of fun with the potato swirl. It was fried very delicately and the seasoned did a great job. The kimchi fries were loaded with bulgogi and tasted amazing. The fried chicken was also great and had loads of flavor and that classic Korean fried chicken taste. The mid: Bulgogi Kimbap. This one just didn't stand out, there was a weird proportion of rice to the rest of the filling that just left me wanting more. The bad: Baked Ramen Cheese. This may have been one of the worst things I've ever had eating outside. It was just a clump of ramen noodles baked into a clump of cheese. The whole thing also wasn't warm, it came room temperature and was not pleasant at all. Stay away from this one at all cost.

Yelp
I have been coming here for a few years and I love it as a quick option for lunch or dinner with friends. This time around, I ordered spicy wings and soy garlic. Both were good, but next time I'd just do all soy garlic because they're crunchy and the flavor is just perfect. The eggrolls are good, but not my favorite of all time. Service is great. I had a small problem with my order, but the staff were kind and quick to correct it. Interior is casual but nice.

Yelp
The wings are the best around, truly delicious but we attended to spot the karaoke rooms, the private rental space. Very very tiny for the price they expect you to pay. Going to check the other location. The staff was very knowledgeable about the menu and answered all my questions so the customer service is really good.

Yelp
K-Pop not my fave Loved the food and policy Best eats on the trip Had bookmarked this place sometime ago when I booked the trip to Charlotte due to the positive reviews. Lived up to the hype. The selection on the beer menu had several that I had never tried. Unfortunately, the first two I requested were not available. It was a Monday; probably sold out of stuff over the weekend. Got the fire chicken with a side of dirty white rice. It was a ton of food and it was fantastic. Managed to finish the chicken which is boneless but unable to finish the rice. The chicken was moist and topped with tons of gooey cheese. The menu says it is one of their spicer items. I did not find it spicy, but it was mighty tasty. Wasn't really into the K-Pop on the speakers and screens, but the volume was appropriate for a Monday afternoon. Didn't realize when I ordered but the menu prices include tax and no tip line on the bill. Asked the server if it was a no tip establishment and he confirmed. Total for the chicken, rice and pint of beer was $29. Should be the way every place is. Just include everything in your quoted price. Only in America do we have this weird and antiquated tip system. Will be sure to stop here again if ever back this way!

Yelp
Located right next to another southend staple - Let's Meat, Seoul Food Meat Company definitely lives up to its expectations. Amazing food for relatively competitive prices and all with a little Korean twist to it. Loved every piece that we ordered and judging by the picture you can tell we ordered a lot! Definitely recommend!
