Meat quality higher than avg. service awful. We ordered combo but forget giving us soup until the end of the meal. Not a variety of side dish and the provided side dishes are not good. Meat are on the grill til it’s burnt. Entire restaurant 3 tables and service is still crazy slow. Kimchi soup has nothing in it. We spent 100 dollars + and we’re barely full.

It’s July 4th today and so lucky they’re still opening. Absolutely the best Korean BBQ I have ever eat in LA! The beef is sooooo~ tender😆 also the pork belly smells awesome and tasty! Everything is great! We got seafood pancake, with a lot of amazing seafood! We love the seafood tofu soup too, best with the rice! The steamed egg with cheese is so flavorful! I’ll recommend all my friends come to try this BBQ! PS: One more thing is their service is incredible, nice guys roasted great meat for us👍🏻 we want to rate for them too~

We had boneless short ribs for lunch with egg pudding and kimchi soup. Restaurant itself is so clean and looks chic. The quality of meat was awesome and service was impeccable. We are definitely coming back!!

Very good. Great service and high quality meat selections. They offer to cook for you but let us cook ourselves when we asked if we could. It’s a bit expensive but was very good.

Stumbled upon this new joint and everything was done right! Meat was very fresh, and love how the ribs come in either lean or fatty ones for customer to choose from. Ordered the steamed egg which was very tasty. The kimchi soup was not salty and tasted just right! Will be back for sure…

Food is good! But the service is suck! The girl had a very cold and mad face, and no communication at all. Even you said thank you, she had no reaction. Maybe that’s why the dinner time there’s no business beside us. 🤷

The quality of the meat here is outstanding - fresh, beautifully marbled, and presented so "nice". Every bite was tender and flavorful, and the ban chan complemented it perfectly. Service was a bit to be better. but Dinner rush - that in understandable. I wish the table top individual ordering system was up and running, which would help the servers and increase customers at-ease experience level. Definitely one of the best Korean BBQ spot in Irvine.. I will be back for sure when I am around, craving for an authentic Korean Quality BBQ.

Service and food. It's overpriced, some other meat was cheap meat. Waiter James wasn't there to help we ended up cooking our food. Waiter left us early without telling us he had left? That is not a good customer service. And we had any choice about the tip he added 20% which we can't change or decided what tip to give our waiter? Which he was there for the first 20 minutes we have 3 burners and we did ourselves for the rest of stay.

Another cozy kbbq spot in OC. Ordered the beef combo which came with an assortment of three cuts cooked for you right at the table-boneless short rib, briskets, and choice of rib finger. Came in a large and small. They also have pork combos and beef/pork combos. They all came with a choice of soy bean paste or kimchee stew. We chose the soy bean paste stew. And just like the Korean way we had to order cold noodle to share to wash it all down. Overall good choice for kbbq. Meat was tender and good quality. Didn't try any alcoholic beverages so unable to comment this time. But will let you all know the next time I visit.

Awesome Korean BBQ spot, the food was amazing the staff was great. The restaurant decor is more minimalist style but nice. The night we were there they were not very busy so we got extra attention. We had the beef and pork combo large, which was the perfect amount for the three of us.

Moved to irvine from LA recently. Rather than going to baekjong, we decided to try Seoul n spirit. Menus were very similar menu so we ended up getting the beef combo, cheese corn, and seafood pancake. As a whole, it was not as good as baekjong. Quality of the brisket was a bit better but otherwise, everything else was worse. Service was really nice and pleasant but I dont see myself coming back.

By far the tastiest, highest quality Korean bbq I've ever experienced. Wow! I don't yelp too often unless it has surpassed my highest expectation. The short rib was butter, all their meats tender, I tried the meat with no sauce or sides, just solo, next level! The kimchi fresh, cucumbers crunchy, perfectly proportioned! Another wow! Thank you Seoul N Spirits for finally bringing a quality Korean bbq!

This place is better than any place in Korea Town! We had Korean mackerel (that was grilled), spicy sautéd squid, marinated short rib and seafood tofu soup. Not one item was bad! The owner was walking around and so engaged and interested in how we liked the food. The place was clean and very classy in the decor. I highly recommend this place if you are in the Irvine area.

I've gotten to the age where AYCE is no longer my jam. This is not an AYCE place, rather it's a La carte where you get quality over quantity. We ordered brisket, LA Kalbi, and two different short ribs. All the meats were good. Corn cheese was good. The banchan was also good! One of them was even a shredded pork (or beef) thing. Service was also fantastic. There were 6 of us and they gave us a room. The ladies that work there are so nice and this is one of those places where they cook for you. The only thing that kept me from giving 5 stars is that they only had the radish, no rice paper!

Marinated Jumuluk (주물럭) goes well with rice Boneless Short Rib (ggot sal 꽃살) was also nice They will cook the meat for you right at the table But sometimes they are busy and unable Watch the grill to ensure the food doesn't burn Otherwise that'll be a lesson you'll learn!

The food is overpriced for what you get. While the service was very attentive, the overall experience was disappointing. My daughter kept getting bitten by something during our meal, which made it uncomfortable. They cook the food in front of you, and it made for an awkward experience. I wish I had read more reviews before going.

This is a hidden gem. No wait. Service is great. The two ladies who attended to us were friendly and cooked our meat perfectly. The meat quality is excellent. The prices are pretty reasonable considering its location.

I didn't know Korean food could ever be this bad. I am so incredibly disappointed in this place, all the main dishes we ordered were practically inedible. Meat was so tough i couldn't even chew it. The only edible thing was the banchan and hot stone bibinbop. I left so hungry and spent a ridiculous amount of money on the dishes. Maybe the bbq is ok, but for a Korean place my grandparents, mom, and myself (all Korean) have never been so dissatisfied by a Korean place (and trust me we've been to a lot of Korean restaurants).

Seoul N Spirits BBQ is a good choice for Korean BBQ, but I wouldn't call it "the best Korean BBQ in town" as advertised. They also claim to serve the finest cuts of meat, but I've had better at both Baekjeong and Marble Steakhouse also in Irvine. I read a few Yelp reviews and I def felt like some of the 5-star reviews were misleading bc I didn't share the same dining experience. The restaurant can be found in a plaza at the intersection of University Drive and Michelson Drive, and they do accept reservations. We ordered the Large Beef & Pork Combo which includes choice of Sirloin or Boneless Short Rib, Brisket, Short Rib Steak, Pork Belly and Pork Jowl. We were told it feeds 3-4 people. Our favorite by far was the Short Rib Steak, but I noticed cuts like the Brisket were too fatty and Pork Jowl was too lean. All combos are served with soybean soup, banchan and sauces. We also supplemented our meal with Steamed Eggs which I recommend. This is a full-service restaurant, so you can expect the staff to cook the meats in front of you. From a service perspective, it would be best described as mixed. We had different staff members servicing our table, and some were definitely friendlier than others. At times, it wasn't the easiest to track down a server. For the price, I'd prefer to go to Marble or Baekjeong but Seoul N Spirits is still a solid choice for KBBQ in Irvine.

Quality Korean BBQ! Instead of AYCE, they focus on premium cuts of high quality meat that the employees grill to perfection right before your eyes. The service, presentation and food is impeccable! My jaw literally dropped to the floor when they brought out the Beef and Pork set (Large) we ordered. Just peep the picture below to see this masterpiece! All of their sets include rice, your choice of soybean or kimchi stew and refillable side dishes (banchan). You can order the meat a la carte, but I think the sets are a better value. The kimchi stew was really soothing and warmed us right up! The banchan was authentic and plentiful. Love that they offer fish cakes, kimchi, broccoli, potato salad, radish and even green onion kimchi! Highly recommend ordering the cheese corn and steamed egg, which even came topped with lots of cheese - definitely unique to this place! Loved the ambiance, as we didn't have to wait long to get seated in a booth, which was private, relatively quiet and well-ventilated. Will definitely be back, as we were highly pleased by the quality and taste of the food, as well as our whole experience. I only hope they read this and also consider adding rice paper to the menu!

Great quality and very clean! Best kbbq meat I have ever had and I have been to most of the trendy and popular spots in the OC area. My kids love their food too which is a plus! Service is friendly and very attentive.

Beyond bad I don't recommend. Firstly the meat quality is bad for the price, the fire is too weak. The meat steams before it had a Maillard reaction. Staff wasn't attentive, burned all food. Side dishes were undercooked, too bland, just terrible.

The worst. Place smells of wet towel. It is all in the attitude and they dont have it. Portions are very small and my wife was so pissed she hardly ate.

If you don't want ayce but you want high end kbbq without that much of a wait time, come here!! The meat combos are great deals, and all the meat is high quality. Best part of this place is that there's not a huge wait as opposed to baekjeong, and the meat is just as good!

Love this place for KBBQ. We've been here 3x already and always enjoy our dining experience! Delicious meat combos to choose from and all of the selections we've tried so far are delicious! My entire family (me and my husband and our 3 children) love it here. What's also awesome is that they offer to cook for you if you like so you can relax, enjoy your date, take care of your kids etc :) Their soup along with the combinations are also soo tasty! I like to get soybean and I still have yet to try the kimchi soup! The side dishes are also really tasty. Kimchi is house made and I'm obsessed with it! Feel free to ask for more as much as you want! They also have appetizers you can order but honestly unless it's a specific one you want, there's no need. They serve drinks and also have multiple televisions usually playing K-pop and sports. Everyone is friendly and service is great! We are regulars now!

I've been coming to this location since I was little. They switched ownership two years ago and the food is just as great. Sometimes when I'm not looking to feel super stuffed with the variety of AYCE KBBQ places in Irvine, this place is where my family and I go. Eating here, you will feel just the right amount of satiated while being able to enjoy high quality meats and service. The workers cook the food for you. They have modernized the restaurant with quality ventilation and tablets to order food from your table. Very good facility!

NOT all you can eat and is on the pricier side, but the meats taste a lot better than a normal ayce! It was easy for us to come in with a party of 9 for lunch (no wait) Overall soft meats and the soy bean soup tastes delicious! Service was very nice, they cooked the meat for us! We got 2 large beef & pork combos and rice on the side , which totaled to about $43 per person. (9 people total) the restaurant is very clean and feels upscale.

Had a superb 2.5 hour lunch here. Very easy to find as it is located in an End Cap Unit. We got the $79 beef combo set. And $8 steamed egg and cheese. Service was mostly solid, very kind friendly and hospitable. - At times when they got busy, we had to ask several times for boricha (barley tea) refills and napkins - But ultimately they got us everything we needed All the ban chans were great! They gave us plenty of refills of everything we asked for. Their kimchi was perfection (very well made). The meat quality was really great. The meat was all so tender! - I think their marinated meat could be less sweet The set combo also comes with either soybean soup or kimchi chigae (we opted for the latter), it was well made and tasty. The only thing the experience was lacking was vegetables. - They give one sliced round of onions, 1 slice of kobacha - Some more veggies (like mushrooms would've been great); I think it's available for an extra charge - She did give us a 2nd round of onions too - And she brought us sliced garlic, jalepeno's (which we put on the grill) and ssamjang The place is very clean, well designed and offers a different spin on KBBQ! I totally recommend this place!

We've been here 4 to 5 times now and the food is pretty good overall. The side dishes (banchan) are very basic. And for some reason they are very stingy when it comes to providing garlic. Not sure why, but they have a strict rule about giving out garlic I guess. However the Rib Finger meat and most of their meats were tender and delicious. We all thought the Wang Galbi wasn't worth the price. It was just okay. Naengmyun (cold noodle) was good and worth ordering.

We were excited to see a new kbbq spot open up in Irvine. We came on a Monday night and we're able to walk right in and the managers Erisa and Charlee greeted us and did a great job making sure our order was taken right away and that we received our banchan quickly. Matthew delivered the meats to us and delivered any additional sides we had. As for the banchan we weren't huge fans of the selections. There was pickled lotus, salad, salsa, fish cakes, beans, and kimichi. Overall, we felt the price point didn't quite match the restaurant. The meat was amazing but, unlike competitors with pre selected high quality meats, they do not cook the meat for you. The combo comes with half a kimichi stew - the egg and corn cheese is additional. The restaurant is very new and clean. It has a darker style, one thing we did like was the music wasn't very loud and you could easily hear each other.

There are relatively few non-AYCE Korean BBQ options available in Irvine, which makes this restaurant a convenient choice for me, especially given its close proximity to my home and the lack of wait times, which I greatly appreciate. I have been a repeat customer since the restaurant opened, and I would like to commend the quality of the meat, which I find to be quite good--arguably better than many comparable establishments in the area. However, I believe there are several critical areas that require improvement. I'm sharing this feedback in the hope that the owners will consider making changes that could help the business thrive. I genuinely enjoy the quality of the meat and would like to continue supporting the restaurant. Meat Quality and Portion Consistency The quality of the meat, particularly the Bone-in Short Rib steak, Rib-eye, and brisket, is consistently high. However, portion sizes are notably smaller compared to competitors, and more concerning, they are inconsistent. Even when ordering the same "large combo," the amount of meat varies significantly between visits. This inconsistency is frustrating and undermines the value for price. Food Quality and Menu Pricing While the meat is excellent, the rest of the menu does not meet the same standard and fall short. Many of food items are just plain bad or seem overpriced relative to their quality. I understand food preferences are subjective, but based on numerous visits, I feel confident in stating that improvements are utmost needed. On my most recent visit, all the side dishes lacked flavor (EVEN KIMCHI), stews were mediocre at best, and even the dipping sauces tasted diluted. I respectfully suggest reviewing the current kitchen operations and possibly hiring a new cook ASAP. Climate Control and Dining Comfort One of the recurring issues is the lack of air conditioning in the dining area. For a restaurant positioned at this price point--where guests often spend around $50 per person--providing a comfortable dining environment should be a must. A properly cooled space enhances the overall experience and reflects the level of professionalism expected at this tier. It also helps reduce the activity of the flying suckers. I sincerely hope the management will take this feedback into consideration. A bit on the pricier side but quality is def there. I give it a 4 star because of the food quality and service. Our waitress was super nice. Came here with my girlfriend and ordered the beef and pork combo but replaced the pork belly for pork jawl. For $100 I wish it came with just a bit more meat but I cannot complain about the quality or service here. Most of the places in this area serve ayce with mid quality meats so this place def stands out for having better quality.

Came here post workout and was quickly seated and served. The restaurant is clean and the staff are friendly :) I recommend getting the small beef combo for 2 with doengjang jjigae and kkotdeungshim!

This is one of my favorite KBBQ spots! The meat quality is excellent--definitely worthy of 5 stars on that alone. The service is consistently great as well. However, the banchan (side dishes) could use some improvement. Each time we visit, there's a new or replaced item, and unfortunately, the changes haven't been for the better. Despite that, we've never waited more than 10 minutes for a table, and the atmosphere is perfect--quiet and ideal for conversation. Overall, it's a solid 4/5!

Irvine, new restaurant alert! This is Seoul N Spirits and they're bringing you the highest quality cuts of Korean barbecue meats that you know and love, without agonizing wait times. Get the Beef & pork combo which comes with so many different kinds of meats, my favorite is the short rib steak. Don't sleep on their Seafood pancake, the Hot stone bibimbap, which is always so fun to mix and spice up to your liking, and the Steamed egg with the cheese on top! Another great kbbq place has come to Irvine!! I visited on a weekday and there was no wait. We ordered the Pork/Beef Combo small and it was the perfect amount of meat for 4 people (1 was my grandma though so she doesn't eat as much). As you can see in the picture, Seoul n Spirits provides high quality meat (look at that marbling) plus quick service (they help grill the meat). I love going to place with combos since it feels the most convenient. Prices were similar to all kbbq restaurants in Irvine. Some highlights: my family LOVED the kimchi!! we refilled our kimchi maybe 6 times. It's homemade and has a great spicy crunchy flavor without being too sour. The soju pour over the pork belly was a nice fun addition and I also like how the music isn't too loud so you can enjoy your tables conversation. Overall, I can't recommend this place enough! I'll definitely be back ;)

The food was pretty good, but it was hard to enjoy the experience because there was a mosquito or multiple of them in the restaurant due to the front door being open and it being humid in the restaurant. My full table was getting bit throughout our entire meal, so would recommend either keeping the door closed or investing in mosquito traps because it wasn't very fun.

Friday night dinner ruined by a waitress who was rude and smirked when an elderly couple asked for more hot water/tea. Part of the dining out experience is being waited on by helpful, friendly staff otherwise we would just stay home. Will continue to go to restaurants where staff are well trained. Food was mediocre, kalbi was not tender.. or maybe the bad experience ruined the food. I hope the owner reads this and speaks to his staff.

We just had a big family gathering for lunch and the food was delicious! Cuts of meat were quality and each had their own distinct flavor and texture. The sides were all good, our favorite being the Kim chi and sliced paper thin pink radish. Their egg soufflé was exceptional! Servers were very friendly and attentive. We will definitely come back again soon!

Idk why everyone waits for hours at baekjeong when you could go to Seoul n Spirits!!??? Literally the kindest service and immaculate zero sugar soju options. Meat quality is amazing and I was so surprised they had no wait at all during prime dinner time on Saturday! Came with 2 people, ordered the combo L along with cold noodles and steamed egg. There was plenty of food (had a bit leftover). Fav cuts for me were the short rib, pork jowl, and woodae galbi (bone in short rib). Along with the meat, stews and sides are also great quality! They also play fun kpop songs so I definitely recommend going here for a good time!

My son and I came here for lunch, and I really liked it coz it was empty, unlike some KBBQ places nearby that are always packed with a long wait. We ordered their SMALL BEEF COMBO, which came with brisket, rib finger, short rib steak, and a choice of either a ribeye or boneless short rib. The meats were of great quality and decent portion. We opted for the short rib, and it was tender and so delicious. The combo also came with soybean or kimchi soup and selected the latter. In addition to the BBQ meats, we also ordered the CORN CHEESE. This was so good! I order it each time I see it on the menu. My only complaint was how skimpy their banchan were. There were only two I liked, which were the cucumber and kimchi. Not only that, but they were also so stingy to refill it. We asked our server to refill our cucumber side dish, but she made an excuse that they stopped serving it after a certain time of the day, which was BS and such lame excuse. Our server did all the cooking for us. She was so patient and nice and knew when to stop and come back to do more cooking. The place is nice and with an upscale vibe. All the tableware were in gold and not your typical overused silverware. Everything looked new, which I really appreciate. Overall, I would frequent this place if it wasn't for their skimpy and stingy banchans (small side dishes). All else was excellent.

Excellent meat quality. Spacious seating. Compared to Baekjeong, similar meat quality and they grill and serve the meats for you. The nice thing about Seoul n Spirits is that you can make reservations and they don't rush you out.
