Not sure why this place has good reviews. Other than having a nice atmosphere, my friend and I were really unimpressed. We came for the happy hour and unfortunately the martinis were not very good. The dirty martini was a little too filthy -- you couldn't taste any of the vodka. To be fair, it says on the menu it will be really dirty, so we ended up ordering a second and asked for them to put less olive juice so we could taste more of the vodka. Bar still made it way too dirty, tasted the same as the first, and the quality of the juice just isn't very good.
Food was average. Fries were good, but it's hard to mess that up. French onion labneh doesn't taste like French onion, more like sour cream and onion? What started to annoy us was that we still had food on our plates and multiple people came around and asked if they could clear them. This pushiness only escalated. We had a reservation for 5 pm and had only been at our table a little over 2 hours. Mind you, we're not just sitting there chatting -- we continued to order drinks and food. At 7:10 a woman approaches our table (one of the staff members who tried to clear our half-eaten food earlier) and says they're going to need our table for another reservation. I'm not new to the New York restaurant scene -- I realize most places need to turn over tables. The problem is, they don't indicate anywhere in Resy or your confirmation that reservations are only a certain period of time. If you only want people to stay for two hours, you need to put that somewhere in writing like other places do. We didn't fight with her; the drinks were bad so we decided to order our uber immediately after she told us she'd need the table. I kid you not, the uber hadn't even located a driver yet when she came back over and aggressively said "ok bye ladies I'm gonna need to take this table now byeeee". Really disgusting and poor hospitality. It's not on the customers if you don't manage how many reservations you have properly.
Would not come back here and would never recommend this to our friends.
