The Best Restaurants in Sacramento, Roseville, and Elk Grove | Eater SF

"“No gluten (or wheat, or dairy), no problem” has been a culinary mantra for Olga and Danny Turner since before they opened Pushkin’s Bakery in 2013. At Sibling, found on a busy Capitol Avenue corridor in downtown Sacramento, the co-owners expanded their gastronomic ambitions. This Pushkin’s iteration offers brunch and dinner, maintaining the gluten-free and vegan standards of the original, but also inviting omnivorous tastes via a BEC loaded with spinach, avocado, onion, pesto, mayo, and Havarti, and a peanut ramen steak salad. Starters like the vegan spinach artichoke dip and fried maitake mushrooms are a must, as are the Babe’s cinnamon sugar donut holes to cap off the meal." - Tamerra Griffin

"Folks with dietary needs should make a beeline for Puskin’s Restaurant, which is entirely gluten-free and offers a sizable vegan menu. Gluten-free baked goods from cookies to breads are attractions on their own, while the shakshuka draws lines for weekend brunch." - Janelle Bitker

Loved all our dishes! Good suggestions by the fun waiter. Would love to come back! 😍 Great having so many vegan options but also salmon for our friends.

This vegan breakfast sandwich might actually be requested for my last meal. It was so darn good! The flavors went together great. The pesto made for a very messy eating experience so don't wear your nicest clothing here. Staff was nice. Absolutely love it!

From omnivore to herbivore, Sibling by Pushkin's has it covered. The place is also 100% gluten free. If you are hesitant to try a place with so many allergy-free options, you probably have just cause. But the food here is tasty. They serve up all the American breakfast classics with a few California and Southern dishes tossed in. How I break down my reviews: 1 Star - Never again. 2 Stars - Probably not, but maybe. 3 Stars - Would try again. Not sure I would recommend. 4 Stars - Very good, look forward to returning. 5 Stars - Amazing, top in its category. Om nom nom!

Google
I cannot praise them enough!! It is such a relief to know that everything is gluten free but also soooooo delicious!! I love the music and ambiance as well. It is always an amazing meal, even before my gluten issues I would have come here all of the time if I knew. Also... The donut holes will change your life, and the coffee is out of this world! Just try it already lol

The fam and I went to this spot after a good day of church. It was about a 30 min wait, that was ok, no big deal. We they text us to say our table was ready it was indeed not ready. The table was still dirty and waiter had to remove dishes while we stood and waited but he didn't wipe the table down. Ok, no big deal, I took some napkins and wipe it off myself. We order and the avocado toast was cool but everything was mid. Nothing great would really see myself going there again. Our waiter thou. Was so dope. His service was so on point, he made the experience good for us. Give nice tip and we got on. ✌🏿 M4M life 💃🏿💃🏿🎉

Treated myself to a brunch meal for Eid. I got a vegan spinach and artichoke dip for a starter but ended up giving it away along with my togo sammy order to a transient person. Everything is gluten-free, and there's plant based options. Which is how I came to know them via Pushkins. I normally use allulose sugar-free syrup but tried with the maple, and it's too much for me lol. I ordered the vegan cruzier sandwich with pepper jack and the vegan cobb to go. I love both meals as a former plant based eater of 15 years and 2 years into eating meat. There's something for everyone in there.

We found that Sibling by Pushkin’s is a gluten free restaurant with vegan options as well. We had a very pleasant time and really enjoyed our food. We got the bacon pressed waffle and vegetarian eggs benedict. To my surprise, I really enjoyed the eggs benedict. My partner usually feels iffy about having gluten free/vegan breakfast foods, but he enjoyed the waffle too. The waffle had good texture and flavor. The eggs benedict exceeded my expectations with a variety of well-cooked fresh ingredients, which gave it a variety of flavors and textures. The bread on the eggs benedict was also the highlight. It had a slight crisp on the edges and soft chew on the inside. The service was attentive and friendly. The restaurant atmosphere was clean and spacious with plenty of seating options. I will definitely be returning and trying their other menu options.

Google
Sibling by Pushkin's offers a delightful breakfast experience in Sacramento's culinary scene. The ambiance is cozy and inviting, with a modern yet relaxed atmosphere perfect for starting the day. I ordered the Benedict eggs with pork belly, and it exceeded expectations. The eggs were perfectly poached, and the pork belly added a delicious richness that complemented the dish wonderfully. To accompany my meal, I enjoyed a latte that was expertly crafted, with a rich and smooth flavor that paired well with the breakfast flavors. The service was attentive and friendly, adding to the overall pleasant dining experience. Sibling by Pushkin's is definitely a gem for breakfast lovers in Sacramento, offering creative twists on classic dishes with a focus on quality ingredients and exceptional taste. Highly recommended for a satisfying and enjoyable breakfast outing!

Yelp
Sibling by Pushkin's is a breakfast and brunch haven for anyone seeking delicious food, especially if your crew has diverse dietary needs. Their menu offers both vegan and gluten-free options alongside classic dishes, making it the perfect spot to gather a group of friends. Everything I tasted was absolutely fantastic. The flavors were spot-on, and the portions were generous. But the real star of the show was the variety. From vegan takes on brunch favorites to classic dishes everyone knows and loves, Sibling by Pushkin's has something to satisfy every craving. It was a huge relief not to have to worry about dietary restrictions at our table. We could all relax, enjoy the cool atmosphere (and maybe snag a seat on the patio!), and savor the delicious food. Sibling by Pushkin's gets a big thumbs up from this group, and we'll definitely be back for more!

Yelp
Sibling by Pushkin's is one of my all time favorite vegan healthy eating spots in Sacramento #CA. The food is farm to folk every time. Fresh ingredients and seasonal vegan options. The service is always family friendly. Today we were welcomed by our host Katie. Who seated us promptly. Great service goes a long way, Magali was our exceptional waitress. Ambiance was earthly chic with a great splash of wood accent. Today it was a full house on a rainy day. Great time to convene with friends.

Yelp
Sibling is an absolute gem in the culinary landscape, offering a unique and delightful dining experience that caters to both gluten-free and vegan preferences. I was particularly impressed with the attention to detail and thoughtfulness that went into crafting a menu filled with innovative twists on brunch classics. As someone with dietary restrictions, I appreciated the extensive options available, ensuring that everyone can enjoy a delicious meal without compromise. For my brunch, I started with a decaf oat milk cappuccino, and it was the perfect way to kickstart my morning. Rich and creamy, with just the right amount of froth, it was a delightful indulgence that set the tone for the rest of my meal. Next up were the Babes cinnamon sugar donut holes, and oh my goodness, they were heavenly! Light, fluffy, and generously coated in cinnamon sugar, each bite was a burst of sweetness that melted in my mouth. It's hard to believe they're gluten-free and vegan--they tasted just as good as their traditional counterparts, if not better! Finally, I indulged in the cured salmon eggs benedict, and it was an absolute triumph. The combination of tender cured salmon, perfectly poached eggs, and velvety hollandaise sauce was a revelation. Each component was executed flawlessly, resulting in a dish that was both comforting and sophisticated. I was hoping to try the infamous hashbrowns, but they were out that day and the bread was chewy and doughy. The ambiance of Sibling, with its industrial-chic setup and inviting patio seats, provided the perfect backdrop for a leisurely brunch. The staff were friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about dietary restrictions, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable dining experience from start to finish. Pro tip: get on the waitlist before arriving during the brunch rush to avoid long wait times.

Yelp
First visit for brunch with friends after work. Love the patio area view as you walk in the front door to a nice open dining space with a counter to order your coffee and baked goods. The table service was excellent and our server helped us out to pick good choices since it was our first time. We started with coffee and a basket of baked goods that was very yummy , Pork belly eggs benedict was delish! breakfast sandwich with sweet potato fries and Pesto breakfast sandwich The Menu also offers Vegan/GF options

Yelp
Came for brunch on a holiday Monday but brunch here is normally busy. It was a 45 minute wait but we were seated after 30. Condiments, napkins and silverware are already on the table in a caddy. The issue with this as there are not replenished so we asked a neighboring table for a knife and shared a napkin. It was a long wait for our food as we got behind a couple of large parties. Our waiter brought out some banana bread to hold us. My dining companion got the vegan Benedict and loved it. I got a portabella sandwich . Nice to sit outside and chill on a nice spring day.

Yelp
Sibling by Pushkin's has its pros and cons for brunch in Sacramento. The biggest issue is slow service - I walked to Target and back in the time it took for our appetizers to come out (~ 45 minutes). While the servers themselves were super friendly, the wait was frustrating, especially for the prices they charge which are a bit high for the area. In terms of the food, I found it hit or miss. Some dishes are tasty while others miss the mark. Their draft beer selection is solid at least. The space is a bit mixed - the patio is pleasant for outdoor dining especially if ya love dogs, but inside feels rather cramped and tight. A nice touch are the coat hangers under the tables though.

Yelp
This is still one of my fave neighborhood brunch spots. Shhhhh- don't tell anyone it's gluten free, and they will never know! That's how good the food is!
google avatar

H S.

Yelp
Food was beautifully presented, but not especially flavorful or tasty. Indoors was insanely echoey and loud. Recommend going only when it's quiet, or outdoor only, patio looked nice. Lots of options for vegans which is rare.

Yelp
On a cold winter mid-week day, I headed to Sibling's solo for some breakfast. The vibe was exactly what I was looking for. Upscale diner with some yacht rock style music in the background. I opened up my computer to do some work to which I was told they don't have wifi, which was kind of a bummer. The menu is a range of eats and if you are a vegan, they have a whole menu for you. I am not a vegan and opted for the avocado toast that came with 2 poached eggs. It was fine. Not the most flavorful avo toast, but a nice healthy breakfast option. Definitely not the most filling. I went ahead and added some homemade sausage for an extra $6, which is a little steep, imho. I ordered a cobb salad to go to eat on the train back to Berkeley and that was a nice little lunch. Again, portions aren't huge, but it was solid for the price. Overall, a nice spot if looking for that elevated diner style food and ambiance. I'd come again, but I would try some new items, as the avo toast didn't quite do it for me.

Yelp
Food was fantastic. I got the eggs Benedict and I would go back again for them! Only downside was that someone got sick while we were there and threw up right in front of us. We never got sick from the food we ate there but it kind of ruined the vibe.

Yelp
Sibling by Pushkins (and all Pushkins locations) are absolutely amazing! As a Gluten Free individual, I love being able to order anything on the menu and not worry about it being normal flour on accident. Their Meyer's lemon loaf is both my and my boyfriend's favorite (and he's not even GF!). The brunch food is so good too, I've never been disappointed at Sibling. The service is spot on and the ambiance makes for a great place to meet up on weekends. Just wish parking was a little easier on busier days, but that's not the businesses fault.

Yelp
Gluten-free MAGIC. My brother's coworker recommended this because they knew I was GF, and even if you aren't GF, this place is awesome. Every. Single. Thing. on the menu is gluten free. This is a person with Celiac's paradise, not having to worry about cross-contamination! We started with drinks: tea, lattes, coffee - the maple syrup latte was delicious. The mint latte lacked mint flavor, but still tasted great. Of course, we got the GF cinnamon sugar donut holes to share with coffee too, and they were mind-blowing. Crispy and sugary on the outside, soft and warm inside. We ordered: Cured Salmon Benedict - classic and fresh Crispy Chicken sandwich - Huge fried chicken piece! Could use more salt/flavoring/sauce Steak sandwich - the star of the show! If they had with a dipping sauce it would be perfect. Chicken and Waffle - chicken strips (GF!!) and waffle (GF!!) - both yummy A touch more sauce and seasoning on a few would have taken them up a notch, but I was still blown away by the GF quality. The bread elements (bun/bread on sammies, breading on chicken, and english muffin)? You could never tell those were GF! Service was brief but helpful, and we opted to dine outside as there was a long wait for indoor seating. Great meal and I would recommend this to anyone.

Yelp
I have been craving a real cheeseburger with bun for months and not being able to eat gluten has put a damper on that, but not a Sibling's. I was able to enjoy looking at everything on the menu because it's a gluten free kitchen. The food was delicious and my gluten eating friends loved the food too. The service was great, and they had outside seating that was comfortable but still felt cozy in the middle of the city. I highly recommend Sibling's and will be back whenever I'm in Sacramento.

Yelp
Been here a few times now; and never with a complaint. Definitely one of my go to places in Sacramento for brunch! The location and atmosphere of this place is very nice for brunch; with a sleek and bright interior. I've been here in the earlier parts of the day for during the week and on weekends, and while a little later in the morning. Don't get here too late in the day, at least on a weekend otherwise you can be waiting for a while. Either myself and or my girlfriend and I have tried a number of things at Siblings, from their signature baked goods like the muffins and cookies. To their the chicken and waffles, Parfaits, and lox. To their sandwiches and burgers; all of which were a great choice. Overall: Delicious food, wonderful staff, clean and welcoming indoor environment, and great patio area for a pleasant outdoor dining experience.

Yelp
Such a great brunch spot! We opted to eat inside as it was starting to get hot out, but I love how the outside area is so big and welcoming! From the hostess to our waiter, as well as the waiter who filled in for him on his break, the service was friendly and quick. I had the deconstructed lox plate and it was perfect! Melt-in-your-mouth lox, plenty of whipped cream cheese, finely sliced red onion, loads of capers and fresh dill went perfectly on one of my toast slices, while I adorned the other with avocado, tomatoes and Cholula! Yum! Coupled with an oat milk Mint Latté, it was perfect! One of my friends had the avocado toast with lox and the other had a breakfast sandwich -- and they were very happy!! Can't wait to go back!

Yelp
Really great elevated diner spot for delicious breakfast. I wanted somewhere near my hotel and came across this spot. It's got a modern vibe to it with a few booths but mostly tables for people to sit. I was greeted by a friendly waiter who told me I could sit anywhere (it was pretty empty for a Thursday morning). I ordered the avocado toast with the lox and the hash browns. The food came out pretty quick and the avocado toast was beautifully presented. I thought initially there wouldn't be enough avocado for the toast but there was just enough if you don't spread the avocado too thick. The lox was tasty and added a nice brine which helped balance out the earthier flavors of the avocado. I never got my hash browns so I think they just forgot since it wasn't on my bill. I also wanted a matcha latte to go but they didn't have matcha. Who doesn't have matcha? Thought it was strange but I got the brown sugar latte which was pretty delicious as well. All in all really liked this place. Cute, nice service, and good food. Small minus points for forgetting my order and not having matcha but otherwise would come back!

Yelp
Friends from out of town visited and we ended up at Sibling. I don't know if it was just the holidays, but the wait was about two hours. Just prepared for a wait! I ended up ordering the Farm Fresh Eggs, which came with two eggs any style, two hashbrowns, and a choice of ham, sausage, or bacon. It was just a typical brunch meal. Prices were reasonable; all or most of the meals were under $20. Overall: If I'm in the area and depending on the wait time, I'd be open to trying this place again.

Yelp
Sibling by Pushkin's is great for brunch! It can get pretty busy, especially on the weekends. I recommend getting on the waitlist via their website while you're trying to find some street parking. Service has always been great every time. When it's not so busy, you can just seat yourself wherever you'd like. Pushkin's is known for vegan and gluten-free. So, of course, there's a vegan menu, but they also have non-vegan as well. I'm not vegan, but to me, if food is good, it's good! I've had their vegan breakfast sandwich. I liked it, and I was impressed that the bread was really gluten-free. Their baked goods are yummy, too. The pancakes were okay; I didn't like the texture too much. Mimosa was good, I really like their freshly squeezed orange juice. But my favorite is definitely the Pork Belly Eggs Benedict. The pork belly is so flavorful with the perfect outter crisp! Who would've thought it would go so well with the runny eggs, hollandaise, and bread. After finding that dish, I can't get myself to try something new and order anything else, haha. You should try it!

Yelp
Stopped by today on a whim since we were in the area. We were quite pleased with everything! The service was great! Our server was super nice and always made sure to check on us. The location itself was relatively easy to find, parking on a Friday afternoon was plentiful, and the inside atmosphere was very cute and inviting. We had the fried pickles (highly recommend!) and sweet potato fries to start. I had a steak sandwich and my wife had the Cobb salad. The sandwich was pretty good, I just wish it had something that made it unique to really push it over the edge. The salad was also relatively standard, though the lemon vinaigrette was absolutely fantastic. (Fun fact, all of their ranch dressing variants are vegan!) To end, we had the cinnamon sugar donuts. They were amazing. Those and the pickles alone will lure us back in haha. Our only complaint is that we wish the portions were ever so slightly bigger. Everything else was awesome!

Yelp
Had a delightful Saturday breakfast at Siblings in Sacramento, trying out their quinoa bowl and breakfast sandwich. Both dishes were nothing short of amazing, truly satisfying our morning cravings with their freshness and flavor. The ambiance of the place added to the experience - it's quite cute and inviting. However, it's worth noting that the service was on the slower side. It took a considerable amount of time to get our food, which was a bit of a downer. Despite this, I would consider coming back, although it's not an absolute priority for me. If you're not in a rush and in the mood for some excellent breakfast options, Siblings is worth a try!

Yelp
Have been a fan of Pushkins since its inception! The Sibling restaurant is a great place for a lunch with friends. I recently enjoyed a girls' brunch here on the sunny patio. I recommend the quinoa bowl!

Yelp
My son and daughter in law pick this location for brunch today. Parking can be tough, but within walking distance isn't an issue. Parking meters on the street take coins or credit cards. I paid for 2.5 hours and cost $3.50, so not bad. We started off with a Baked Goods Basket with breakfast sweets. Everything in the basket was delicious the brownie crisp was amazing. My daughter in law ordered the Eggs Benedict with pork belly open face breakfast sandwich, my son ordered the pesto breakfast sandwich with sweet potato fries and a mint latte. My wife ordered the crispy chicken sandwich with fries and I ordered the steak sandwich with sweet potato fries. Everything was fantastic, flavors were delicious. Only recommendation would be to leave the steak as 1 piece instead of slices, would be easier to eat, but not a deal breaker. I asked for medium cook and they nailed it. The sweet potato fries tasted homemade and were good. Next time I am in the area I will definitely stop in.

Yelp
While I didn't get the full sit-down experience today at Sibling, I did stop in while waiting for my hair appointment around the corner at Au Salon. I decided to pick up a beverage and a sweet little treat, since this was the closest establishment on the block that offers espresso drinks! I ordered a hot Matcha latte with oat milk, and a cinnamon bun for later, since I'd just had breakfast. The aromas emanating from this place were amazing this morning, enough to linger in my mind for quite some time, beckoning me back for a full sit-down experience to try out their delicious breakfast and lunch options!

Yelp
We finally got to try Sibling by Pushkin's! It's a popular spot and we've tried a couple times to walk up in the past and were met with long wait times. On our latest visit we were visiting with someone with celiac disease so we were ready to wait as long as we needed to. Luckily we were only given a 20-30 minute wait time and were able to browse Starpping Store while we waited. About 20ish minutes later we were sat at a table inside. Our table ordered the basket of baked goods, chicken and waffles, New Yorker sandwich, crispy chicken sandwich along with an iced chai and a brown sugar latte. We started with the delicious drinks and basket of baked goods. We each tried all the baked goods and loved them all, in our basket we had a lemon poppyseed donut hole (which was our favorite), a chocolate cookie, a chocolate chip muffin and a cinnamon roll. Our celiac guest said they hadn't had a cinnamon roll in years and was so happy to try this. The entrees were also great. The waffle was fluffy and the chicken was crispy and flavorful on the chicken and waffles. The crispy chicken sandwich was ordered with fries and was probably the biggest portion of food that we ordered- the sandwich was flavorful with a great, fluffy bun and the fries were awesome. Out of the three dishes the New Yorker may have been the most disappointing, but was still flavorful and had great gluten free bread. It was just on the smaller side and the other dishes really outshined it. I'll also note that this dish was ordered with a salad and it was the teeny tiniest side salad I've ever seen- it was more like a garnish. Definitely order fries instead. Overall the experience was a good one and it's amazing to have a completely gluten free option for those who need it or have chosen to be gluten free. Our guest was so happy to not have to double check that their dish would not be contaminated with gluten and really enjoyed all the choices.

Yelp
Breakfast Sandwich 10/10 Definitely one of the best breakfast sandwiches I've had at a brunch spot in downtown Sac. The sandwich itself was very full and well put together. The gluten free bread was the best part. Vegan Benedict 9/10 One of the most unique Benedict's I've seen at a brunch spot. The sweet potato and portobello mushroom gave the vegan Benedict a nice spin. We thoroughly enjoyed this dish! Ambiance 10/10 Very busy establishment and well maintained. Their waitlist estimates are surprisingly as accurate as they can be. I really appreciated the application they use to communicate wait times. Overall I'd love to have brunch at this establishment again!

Yelp
I'm not a "brunch person" by any means. But when I do get it I go to Sibling. I love the environment there and the location is unbeatable! A few blocks walk from where I live. The food is great! Healthy, yet delicious options that will please everyone! I typically get the chicken and waffles or breakfast taquitos! I also like the fact that Sibling is very reasonably priced. I feel they could charge more if they wanted to, but choose not to. 4.5/5 stars from me!

Yelp
Really nice location with outdoor seating and a nice vibe. The menu is solid and has some options for everyone. Coffee was bland and not good. Brown sugar latte was really good. I ordered the pork belly Benedict and as usual, eggs were over cooked. I do not understand how you can send this out, knowing the eggs are practically hard boiled! Poaching eggs is a math equation and can be done correctly if you pay attention and if you actually give a phuck. Pork belly was crispy and fatty and so good. The yolk should have run down to make it even more delicious. It doesn't go well with hard boiled eggs though. Goat cheese omelette was decent. Again, eggs over cooked and too much goat cheese. Not coming back again. I have a new policy in place. If I visit an establishment and they can't cook eggs, they can't have my money.

Yelp
Came here with some friends for breakfast and got the breakfast sandwich and it was AMAZING. This is my first time here and i can't wait to come back! Service was great and the place had such a cool vibe!

Yelp
Really good food, delicious coffee and friendly, attentive service. It's popular, so there may be a wait. We opted to sit outside, so we were seated immediately. Very friendly and thoughtful about dietary restrictions as well.

Yelp
i came here on a saturday for brunch with a group of 6. we arrived around noon and were told that it would be a 45-minute wait. the wait wasn't too bad because we were able to go to the farmer's market a few streets over. when we returned, we were given the option of waiting for 2 tables or sitting at the high-top table. we opted to sit at the high-top table. there were hooks underneath the table to hang our jackets and bags, which was convenient. the wait for our food to arrive after ordering was also pretty long. we got some appetizers so we were able to snack on those while we waited, and my friend was even able to walk to target and back in that time. i didn't feel that any of the food had particularly good visual presentation, but the taste was fine. i ended up ordering a peach iced tea + the pork belly eggs benedict. i was surprised that the eggs benedict didn't come with a side ex. of home fries. one of our friends is vegan, so it was nice that they had a separate vegan menu on one side of the menu. we ended up leaving around 2:30, which was a lot longer than we expected to spend on the whole brunch experience. it was bearable for us because we had a lot to talk about. they just seem to be understaffed :((

Yelp
Love love the pancakes. Reminds me of the buckwheat cakes my mom made me, when I was a kid. But better then when I was a kid. I've had other menu items I love as well. I just really like the vegan pancakes. They have an entire vegan brunch and dinner menu. The entire restaurant is gluten free. Indoor and outdoor dining. Clean establishment. Friendly and helpful staff. Street parking.

Yelp
I'd give this place 3.5 stars solely because of the service. Everything took forever to come out, more than 45 minutes, our waitress didn't even tell us her name and it took forever after we were finished to get our bill. The food here however is quite good. They have lots of vegetarian options which is cool.
google avatar

Yelp
I'm sorry that I forgot to take pictures, but I was enjoying my experience. Seems to be a popular place for breakfast. There was a steady stream of patrons, but it didn't feel rushed. The servers are super sweet and attentive. I had a standard two egg breakfast with bacon and my friend had the shakshuka with gluten free bread. Both of us had coffee which was just okay. It had a weird aftertaste that I didn't care for. Breakfast was good. The hash browns were crispy, but reminded me of the ones from McDonald's. I like that they serve salad with breakfast. The lemony vinaigrette is delicious. Bacon is plentiful and crispy, also. Eggs were made to order. Next time I will order the shakshuka. I tasted my friend's and it was flavorful. Delicious!

Yelp
I was excited to try this place because they have a fully vegan brunch menu, which includes vegan baked goods and pancakes, which are not easy to come across. Despite joining the waitlist ahead of time, it still took about 30-45 mins for us to be seated after arriving at the restaurant. The interior has a nice, cozy ambiance and it seems like everything is prepared fresh. We tried the vegan pancakes, vegan eggs, vegan avocado toast, spicy crispy rolled tacos, and the vegan farm fresh. The tacos were delicious and the best thing we ordered. The avocado toast was also very good, the pancakes were fluffy, and the vegan eggs were devoured by my kids. The farm fresh was somewhat basic in comparison to the rest of the dishes but still cooked and seasoned really well. Our server was wonderful and very attentive. She forgot one of our dishes and when I inquired about it, she brought it out right away and removed it from our bill due to the inconvenience. If we find ourselves back in Sacramento, we'll be sure to dine here again!

Yelp
Went to lunch with my wife. She got the supreme waffles. Which are waffles with your choice of eggs and a meat. She got scrambled and bacon. She liked it a lot and the bacon was well done like she likes and a smoky flavor which was an added plus. I got the chicken and waffle. It was pretty good. I wish the waffle was a little crispier. The chicken was perfect , nice and juicy . I got a hot cholate which was great. Our waitress was very attentive and checked on us often which was very nice.

Yelp
I came here on a Saturday morning and was seated immediately. The service was super fast and waited less than 10 minutes for my food to come out. The restaurant was spacious and had their front doors open so it was pretty chilly. The avocado toast had a poached egg, smashed avocado, and lox salmon on top. The baguette was really crunchy and the lox paired really well with the avocado toast. The eggs benedict had a baguette instead of an english muffin which was a nice twist and the hollandaise sauce was flavorful as always. I'll definitely come again to try more of their dishes!

Yelp
I was in the downtown area for work. I had an hour for lunch. I ordered to go. I ordered the crispy chicken sandwich with hash browns. You can have the options for fries or sweet potato fries. I like potato tots so I chose hash browns. The order took about 15-20 mins. I went to pick up my order. The person at the counter was nice. I added a little treat to my order, a mud pie cookie. My sandwich looked very nice and neat in the box. The sandwich was hot and the hash browns were crispy. The chicken sandwich was very good. It had a little kick to it too. The gluten free bun tasted good for gluten free. I always liked Pushkin's. The food is really good for being gluten free. It doesn't taste like gluten free. The have a lot of vegan options too. I really love their vegan breakfast.

Yelp
Airy indoors and airy outdoors. We sat indoors on a sunny, but still chill, March morn. The server brought water and glasses to table but did not offer to fill our glasses. Sigh, the lack of training and thought in providing service is disappointing. The person was cheerful and did check if we wanted to add to our tab. Nothing unusual these days. The food arrived hot from the kitchen, yay! Wife liked her omelette. I really liked my sunny eggs and bacon and hash browns! So much so, I only remembered to take a pic after eating as you can see. The latte was very good too with a good balance between the sweet of the foam and bitter of the espresso.

Yelp
Been here a few times and haven't been disappointed! My favorite thing to do is sharing a small basket of pastries and breads with the table and trying a little bit of everything. The ambiance is warm and just, but not so loud that you can't hear people at your table. I had ordered the Shakshuka, which was incredibly filling and refreshing.

Yelp
Ate here for brunch, I was excited for their gluten free + vegan menu. I ordered the Vegan Benedict and cinnamon sugar donut holes. The Vegan Benedict was so-so, I was sadly disappointed. Lacked flavor. Would try something else next time. The donut holes are what saved my meal and basically my reason for writing this review- wow they were sooo delicious and fresh! Probably one of the yummiest things I have tried. Definitely try their donut holes if you eat here. The employees are also nice and attentive

Yelp
My friend and I came on a Saturday morning for brunch and it wasn't too busy! Our wait time was under 30 mins. I probably recommend sitting outdoors versus indoors. Indoors was super loud so conversations were hard to hear. I got to try the vegan calamari and the pork belly Benedict. I would give the vegan calamari a 2/5 and the pork belly Benedict a 4/5. The vegan calamari doesn't match a calamari at all. I believe it might be mushroom pieces. The fried batter was super thick and lacked flavor. The sauce made the dish more ok. The pork belly Benedict was really good and the portion was super filling! I was super surprised by that. The pork belly was tender. The donut holes are a must! It was so good fresh! The perfect amount of dough and sweetness.

Yelp
First time here and it was wonderful. I loved that I was able to eat from most of the menu without modifications. The food was hot and delicious, and the service was great. We will definitely be back.

Yelp
Was pleasantly surprised at how much I loved the place! Wait was very long on the weekend . Around 1.5 hours on the waitlist. Inside is ok, nothing special, kind of sterile open vibe. Nice to have so many options for plant based vegan eaters! We got the vegan Benedict which was fantastic. The calamari was great as well, and the shashukka was ok, but would pass next time. The gluten free bakery is AMAZING. And in my option reason enough to come, or visit the bakery! Service was great for now short staffed it seemed and the volume of people serving! Would def come back again in the area.

Yelp
It was my first time here at Sibling by Pushkin's! My friend decided to come here since I could not eat meat because it is lent. I had the non Vegan Avocado Toast with Lox. It was delicious, the service was fantastic!

Yelp
My favorite restaurant in all of the land! I live two hours away and plan trips around it. I could eat there everyday, so probably a good thing it's two hours away. Teehee Everything is gluten free and tastes as good as anything I'd ever had the was regular.

Yelp
This place is very lively and bustling on a Saturday morning. The expansive vegan menu is a draw. We were seated outside on the long tables and waited ~20 minutes until we flagged someone down for water and to take our orders. Food wise, tje best thing was the waffle. It was crispy with some notes of cookie butter that was super tasty -- we polished it off. The other dishes we tried didn't impress. The goat cheese omelette was pretty average. The egg was homogeneous in texture, though the goat cheese spread was good. I don't typically crave a spring mix salad + vinaigrette with a breakfast omelette, so I didn't eat much of that. My friend ordered shakshuka which could use more spice. Having had more authentic shakshuka at other places, this one was chunky tomato soup!

Yelp
Quite a few things happened today at my visit to Sibling by Pushkin's. I've been here a few times and I've never had a crazier experience. Insanity at the breakfast table today. Immediately we sit down and recieve dirty glasses which ISNT A BIG DEAL AT ALL we didn't care we were just like heyyyy sista can we get some new glasses and we did! hooray! No problem. The glasses were accompanied with a big half-filled pitcher of lukewarm water with no ice. No problem! It's a sweltering hot day and we are sooo thirsty we just chug it DOWN and then have to stand up and leave our table to ask for a fresh filled pitcher with ice. Crisis averted! Thirst quenched! We waited 30 minutes in total to order our food which I can't fault anyone for but ourselves because we were quietly seated in the far back corner which was actually very peaceful but a little lonely, our server must've not liked us! I genuinely like the interior here and bonus points for that fierce pixel art in the front. Anyways we ordered our food and waited another 20 (I'm a dramatic person but this food genuinely took so long to come out) and I find a screw! In my egg! Which I can only assume was from the broken pepper dispenser that spilled peppercorns all over my friend's entire omelette. Food was good, took too long but was really yummy. 2 Stars, would go again to try those beautiful pastries that are secluded in the front that I think I was too stupid to see because I would've ordered 10 of them to go.

Yelp
Cute outdoor area for seating, and great vegan and non vegan options. The bread is gluten free so it is a bit different in texture.
